PostSubject: Clare Clare Icon_minitimeJanuary 13th 2015, 10:05

Name: Clare

Gender: Female

Age: 3

Pack: Helidos

Rank Requested: Hunter

Appearance:
Clare stands at the height of 65 cm, her fluffy, large ears giving her two extra inches. Her small frame is helped by her soft, plush fur, making her seem like a mall teddy bear. Her fur consist of mainly white, a black streak down her back; two coats of it helps her stay extra warm at nights. Although her fur gives her the appearance of a fluffy bear, she is fairly small; able to move through the woods with ease. She has baby blue eyes, a soft friendly gaze that seems to attract those from afar. Her canines are very sharp, two inches, able to hold a grip on a prey with no struggle, but her canines are not in her favor; but her speed. Her small frame helps her escape predators and run fast to catch prey. Although Clare looks may come off as innocent, if you look closely, you can see a scar from the right side of her maw to the corner tip of her right eye; showing many years of battles.

Spoiler:

History: Clare, like many others, did not have a great life. Abandoned by her father, having to be adopted by a abusive step father and a mother who cared very little of her. Although Clare did not have the best life, she tried to be optimistic about everything. Her step father and mother were never fond of Clare's optimism, always lashing at her for having a bright perspective on the world. Scrutinizing her mother and step fathers intentions, she soon came to the terms that they were so kept up in the dark, that all they could do was teach her how to embrace the cruel joke we live in. Her optimism for an adventure wasn't always taken away though, it was brought back any time she would sneak to see her father every weekend. Even though he abandoned her, she couldn't help but understand, who would want a broken toy anyways? They would train together, she would have to make up excuses about the cuts and scars on her, saying it was a group of rogues who attacked her endlessly. With the lie that was told, her father took action and began to teach her fighting skills, but she never seem to be all that great at it. They soon found out that her small body and fast movement could be an advantage with her fighting skills. One day her step father found out that she was seeing her father. He was angry at her, and that night he beat her to a pulp, causing a large scar on her face. Since then, Clare never looked others in the eyes, her head always down. A month after that incident, her father died from an surprise attacker. Clare knew it was her step father who did such a thing; hatred burned her eyes whenever she saw him. She never told anyone, never brought it up, she knew that she would have a death wish if she spoke up. So, for two years she took the beatings, the insults, and the nonstop punishments from her so called 'parents.' Everyday she would look at her father when he wasn't watching, burning hatred ate away any feelings of what a pup should feel for her so called 'father.' But, like always, she never said anything. Until one day she couldn't take it.

Her step father was going in for a lash at her face once again before Clare attacked him, pushing him down once he was in shock. She never got a chance to lash at him, for her mother came charging at her. Clare took off, fleeing from her step father, who laid there in astonishment, and her mother who growled furiously; howling to Clare. She would never forget her mothers howl, announcing that she was a disgrace to the family. To this day she never stopped hearing her mothers voice that verbally abused her, taunting her. After many months of running from the past, she found a pack called Cedar Grove were she soon was embraced by two females who were sisters to her. But her home was soon ruined, causing her to go on her own once again. After a couple months passed, a small group of wolves took her in. They fed her, gave her shelter and trained her. The 'alpha' of the group was a big brother to her, Eli. He protected her and cared for her, helping her wounds- the mental and the physical ones. He was her best friend, along with the whole group. For months she tagged along with them, hunting with them, learning how to survive. Months passed by, she finally thought she had what was suppose to be a family. But death was not finished. Eli was attacked by a wild pack, injuring him to the point of death. Clare had just came back from a hunt when she found his body, limp and bloody. She didn't have time to mourn before she ran off at the smell of deaths stale aroma. To this day she still regrets not giving him the proper goodbye. That day she ran 'till her legs gave out, her heart heavy with remorse; it seemed impossible to carry on. That day she released a mournful howl, telling the world that it had finally won. It had finally broken her. Days became weeks, weeks became months before Clare had enough courage to find a new home. Being alone with her thoughts, past, and regrets were a shuddering nightmare. She soon stumbled across the Helidos border, a new chance opening up to her. Who knows, maybe they like broken toys?

How did you find Age? Haven's Grove

Example Post:
Irrepressible urges to charge after the prey overwhelmed Clare, a growl escaped her maw. She stood in obscurity, the thick, black air hugged her body; shielding her. Her blue eyes never once left the deers body, watching out for the perfect time to attack. The moon was high in the sky, casting a luminous glow on the small pond the deer drank from. Clare dug her paws into the ground, holding back the urge of hunger, waiting for the deers blind spot to become vanuerable. As the deer made slow, tortorous steps away from the water, Clare stomach growled. This would be her first whole meal today, besides from the old, rotting meat her mother gave her this morning. Clare growled and pulled her lips back in a snarl, hunger getting the best of her. She took off towards the deer her steadfast speed surprised the deer as it kicked up wildly and ran. This was Clare's favorite part of the hunt - the speed. She would have been enjoying it if she wasn't so hungry, her stomach pushing her on. Picking up the pace, she lashed at the deer, catching its hip making it tumble. Before Clare could reach it and grab a hold of its neck, the deer kicked its back legs, hitting Clare in the chest. The impact made Clare stumble backwards, dumfounded. The deer ran off as she stood there before turning, walking home; another night without a meal. Once Clare was back to sweet home, her ears went down and she shielded her eyes by lowering her head. Moving meticulously, she tried to draw no attention to herself as she made her way to her sleeping area. Unlike the others, Care did not have a den, but she had a patch of fairly soft grass she soon got use to sleeping on. When reaching her sleeping grounds, far away from the others, she all but fell down in a heap of exhaustion. Her stomach growled, making her close her eyes to ignore the hunger. This treatment was normal to Clare, the feeling of hunger for food, sleep...a normal family. Closing her eyes, she curled up, very thankful for her full coat to warm her. As she was about to drift off to sleep, a deep growl made her whence as she recognized the deep rumble. Looking up at her step father she lowered her ears in shame, not looking into his eyes.

Her step father walked towards her with agonizing steps, intimidating her to the brink of fear. His piercing grey eyes and dark black pelt seemed to merge with the blackened night. He stood tall and pulled his lips back into a mean, angry snarl. Clare knew it was a stupid idea to go out tonight, but the hunger was overwhelming. She also knew that speaking was a bad idea, but that still didn't stop her."I-I'm sorry... I- uh." Her step father snapped at her, his maw inches away from her face, her scar burning at his closeness. "Did I say you could speak, you worthless piece of trash!?" He barked angrly at her, it was hush, but she could felt the anger. A whimper escaped Clare's maw, she cosed her eyes and tried to sink further into the ground, her voice barely audible, "N-no sir.." He growled at her once more, grabbing her harshly by the scruff of her neck, throwing her; sending her flying a few feet. "I will not tolerater irreverent behavoir. I am in charge of you and you have no right to disobey me!" Clare cringed, from his angry words, but also from how true his words were; she knew she was stuck here. She didn't answer, knowing that she would be punished, but her step father lashed at her anyways. "You foolish girl, never knowing your boundaries. No wonder your father left you. If it wasn't for you your foolish mother, I would have killed you a long time ago."

Eyes burning with hurt and hatred, she looked up and glared, knowing his words were true. The image of her father quickly flashed in her mind and anger began to creep up slowly, starting in her chest. Her whole demeaner changed as her father pulled his paw back to lash at her face. She growled and tackled him, bring him down when he was surprised by her attack. Clare did a deep, angry snarl; something she did not know she was capable of. Her paw was on her fathers neck, pushing on it as his eyes grew wide with shock and fear. Clare could hear her mother coming around the corner; growling at Clare to get off. The anger was like hot, thick molasses. It slowly crept up her throat, fumbling out as hot, angry words. Her eyes locked eyes with her fathers, a secret promise burning in them. She growled and lowered her head, whispering her last words before running off.

"You're dead to me."

Welcome Clare, before you are accepted you will have to make some changes.

- Your avatar image is too large. It must only be 150 pixels wide. We do not allow unrealistic images, so it will also need to be changed.
- Your application is messed up and needs to be fixed. Also, please do not center your text.
- Your image for the character must only be a maximum of 600 pixels, unless it is in [spoiler].
- In order to have a wolf that small, you must pay 100 Bones, otherwise she can be 65 cm tall.
- I thought I would also point out it's called Haven's Grove.

Adjust these things and another Staff member will go over it again.
