| A shadow dashed from one shade to another, stalking the unsuspecting prey. The black fae was slowly sneeking towards her victim and blending in perfectly with the dark upcoming night. Her eyes quickly scaned the area and in her mind, her plan was fullfiled. She already determined the tactic and strategy, to hunt down that delicious elk. She was licking her muzzle in anticipation and in thought of a satisfying feast.
Her silverish blue eyes gazed firmly to that meal on four legs and a desire of warm flesh, forced her to proceed with her hunt. Asteria moved through the forest's shadows, silently as a ghost. She prepared her self for sudden attack at the ignorant elk and when she was just about to jump .... Wait, what?! Her ears flicked from this direction to another, to cacth that weird sound again. She defienetly heard a walking figure.... Now she sniffed the air for a scent to match the sound and it hit her like a bright daylight. A wolf's scent! Her attention was all focused on a new discovered scent and her eyes turned to the location of the sound, for just a second .... But that was enough for the elk to notice the hunter and he ran away faster than she even realized her mistake. Damn! She was too focused to the scent and not on her run away prey. And so her launch fled with an extra ordinary speed, leaving her with an empty stomach. But it was of no importance now. She could only thought of the words she would speek to the approaching wolf and to make a good first impression. Oh god, she was nervous! |

| The great white wolf, largest of his pack, walked among the border, remarking old marks around his terrain. These were his lands. He was born here, he bled here, he fought here, learned here, taught here, and above all, he protected these lands. Heavy paws walked along the line, pausing for marking purposes from time to time. His scent was strong in this terrain, so he continued. When he was finished, he started around the boundary again. It was not until he heard the stampeding of hooves, that he became alert. The large Alpha positioned himself to defend, while still carrying himself in a dominant stance. As he stepped around a rather large bush, he saw her and the prey escaping. Normally the brute would attack the prey, but he was interested with the fae before him. "Who are you? What brings you to my lands?" |

| Asteria's eyes followed the runaway prey in disappointment. She observed as the elk happily escaped her sharp teeth and empty stomach. A little hunting failure never hurt anybody, and a small prey will do just fine if necessary. Her victim disappeared from her gaze in victory over his life. Untill next time... Sooner or later you'll be mine. Her stomach was rumbling but it couldn't compare with the feeling she experienced when a big wolf figure appeared in front of her curious eyes. The strong scent she picked up earlier matched this wolf's mighty apparence well. His muscular built with his huge size was a complete opposite to his soft and perfectly white pelt. His amber eyes shined in many life moments this male lived through. He was strong proud and the way he stepped to her was enough for her to assume a very high rank for this brute.
For a moment she was like paralysed and she could not speek a word. It was a scene that almost replicated a guardian angel, shining down to Earth. But soon she got her self together and ready to answer his obvious question.
She did not know how to act around this brute and even though he seemed of a fair leader, life had tought her that looks can be deceiving. From caution, she decided to stay low and show submission. Respect was not hard to show, for his strong and yet gentle appearence made her respect him. With her head and tail lowered, and her moon colored eyes looking to the ground, she humbly spoke in kind words. "I have traveled to your lands in wish to continue my life's journey in your pack's shelter." She submissivly waited for the brute to accept her words. She hoped this male will meant her no harm and everything will continue smoothly. She didn not want to end up in a fight or something. Her ears flicked to catch a reply to her sentence, and she absorebed his every gaze, in wish that he is not one of those dominamt fools that enjoy seeing others suffer.

| With little change in her appearance from him showing himself to her, he stared at her. "I am Alpha Azul of these lands. What skills have you to aid my pack survive? Would you swear your life to this pack, to protect and defend all of its members within?" He waited for her reply, positioning himself to stay where he stood. His tail did not lower, his head held high. His chest pushed forward, showing his great strength and size over the fae. He was not one to fight, no fighting was unnecessary. He would speak to her, judging how she took his words, but if the time came for a spat, he would be ready. It had been long since he was involved in a squabble, but fighting is not something you forget. "Rise as you speak to me. You have already shown me enough respect for my rank." |

| Asteria carefuly listened as the large male spoke to her. He stood strong and proud with his chest forward to show his might and high rank. She humbly waited for him to tell her to rise and speak. And so she lift her self from the low position and her eyes shined brightly as she replied. "Thank you, Sire." The fae's dark figure had gentle, soft edges and it showed peace and tranquillity. Asteria calmly answered the brute's question with warm and kind words and her eyes were gentle and deep. "Without any doubt, I would gladly lay my life for this pack. I have led a pack before, and I have learned many things, for what is a wolf without his pack?" She waited a moment for both to think of these words. She remembered how her parents always used to tell her that same sentence, she remembered like it was yesterday... Memories flashed before her eyes and she thought of her sister Serena, and she thought of her previous pack. The bright sunlight hit her deep blue eyes, forcing her to fly back to the real world.
She focused her words back to the large white figure. "I bring great fighting skill that gave me a high rank in my previous pack. I started training when I was just a pup and since then, I defeated many great warriors, sharpening my skills." She answered softly and with kind words. She spoke of true events, but she did not speak about her talent in battle, for she does not see her self that way. If you'd say she is a natural talent, she would say she is just -sadly- experienced.
She patiently waited for the brute to speak. She could see his nerve, his body ready to fight if necessery. But although her ability, a battle was not of her will, and it wouldn't do her any good if she would fight an alpha. For the sake of the pack, if not of her own health. She observed as he collected words to form toghether and speak back to the black fae.

| ((Just so you know Asteria, we only use ".." when speaking, not the carrot things you have done. Please change them.))
"Here we do not grant wolves high rank at our border's edge. If you wish for a high rank, you will be a Warrior. With time you will train with our higher ranking wolves, they will then allow you to promote. This is if you make them proud and will stand behind your promotion. But for now, welcome to the pack, Warrior Asteria." He looked to the fae, waiting for her response. He shook his fur, causing it to fluff out in all its glory. Slowly, he turned from the fae, giving her a nod. "I am headed back to camp. Feel free to explore the lands. Welcome home Asteria. I have things I need to do, but you may do as you wish." Large paws took him from the border, headed towards the camp. His tail lowered to lay between his legs. Quietly he disappeared from her sight. |

| The male spoke to her in proud words as he judged her sentence. She listened carefuly, aknowleging his every word, absorbing his every emotion. She nodded with her head and she spoke in understanding and submission. "Ofcourse, Sire." A slight smirk came as a kind, tiny laugh to acompany the next spoken words. "Sire, I do not wish of a higher rank, right now. Not untill I prove myself worthy. A rank of warrior is more than I can desire." She humbly bowed in gratitude. This rank was more than enough for her. Right now, she did not wish to bother with any ranking rules or akward socializing moments. She just wished to fulfil her curious nature and explore this tempting lands.
'Warrior Asteria'... It surtenly had a ring to it and she was proud of her new title. A small start of a great new beginning. A new pack, a new life, a new start... She sank in her deep thoughts, thinking of what all awaits her in the future, when a stomach's growl woke her from daydreaming. Her hunger grew, slowly devouring her stomach. A hunt, would be the first thing she would do as a member of this pack.
Before they could split to different paths, again, she gently nodded her head as a light bow to express her gratitude. He looked at her one last time and with few words, he left her sight, wandering back to do some other deals of great importance. Asteria's eyes rolled to the plains, following the horizon and searching to expand her view. She slowly stepped forward to meet with the foreign land, which from now on, she will call home. |
