Chiara had just gotten back to the main clearing when a loud howl caught her attention. The border seemed to be very busy these past few days and the thought of more members made her grin. Most proved themselves worthy of pack life under Teren's rule, while the bad apples were quickly disposed of. They say the pack is only as strong as it's weakest link, and it seemed most members fought to stay out of the spot life. The Guardian had even taken some time out of her busy life to train a few of the warriors, though in reality they were proving themselves to be beneficial allies instead of apprentices. Beneath her loyal exterior the fae had a plan buzzing in her mind, one she had dwelled on for quite a few weeks. Not really mastering the concept of the plan she cept silent about it, even from her mate and children and went of being the obedient little guard dog she was. Recruiting on the side didn't hurt anyone, especially when they knew so little themselves.
With a long stride Chiara ate up the distance between herself and the howling brute, arching her tail and walking with purpose once he came into sight. He was younger than her, but his scars told stories of past battles and a life of hard knocks. He also seemed distracted, as if something was plaguing his mind besides asking for acceptance here, what was it? "Greetings brute, I am Chiara Guardian to alpha Teren of Erenyx. Who are you and why have you come here?" She questioned, her amber eyes narrowing in his direction. She would expect a show of submission from the large male for she was a high rank and his deciding factor of gaining entrance or leaving shredded. A smirk rose on her face as memories of beating a healer into submission and chasing a few unsuitable wolves off came to her. Most wolves were respectful and offered their condolences to the small ebony fae. However, there always proved to be a brute who thought with what was swinging in the breeze instead of his head. Those ones would try to dominate or flirt with her, and they were met with snapping fangs and torn ears. Waiting for him to speak up Chiara remained standing, her eyes looking over his large yet lithe frame. He could pass as a warrior or hunter or he could surprise her and be another rank, only time would tell.
