Orion of the Stars Empty
PostSubject: Orion of the Stars Orion of the Stars Icon_minitimeMay 5th 2015, 13:02

Name: Orion

Gender: Male

Age: 5  years old.

Pack: Agavos

Rank Requested: Healer

Appearance:
Orion stands at about 76 cm to the shoulder due to his breed. His legs are strengthened with muscles from years of training. His tail is just a mere few inches off the ground, making it easy to run and move at great speeds. He has several small scars going across his face and muzzle. His shoulders are broad and his face is slim in shape. His fur is light shades of cream with white and black mixed in. His eyes are a deep shade of grey, covered by a light film due to him being blind. His fur ruffles across his back in a ragged way. Light shades of brown run across his shoulders and legs. A light shade of black covers his face from the tip of his nose to his ears like a mask. Mixed with the black upon his face are shades of white and cream.

History:
On a misty and chilling spring night begins the story of Orion, the young but gifted he-wolf. His mother was the pride of the small pack to the far south-east. In giving birth to three young and charming pups, the mother fell silent as her heart stopped. She had died by giving birth. The pack fell into silence, panic rising until one of the caretakers stepped forth and volunteered to be the young pups mother. This she-wolf was known by the name of Starli. She was the only caretaker whom was just reaching the age of three years. As the pups new mother, she took care of them by giving warmth and comfort. The young pups father was a mere Rogue whom had been blind in one eye. The pups would never know about their father until they became old enough to train. After a few weeks had passed, the young ones finally opened their eyes and ears. Seeing and listening. Except for one, the youngest. He had his eyes open, but darkness was all he saw. The film over his eyes hadn’t developed correctly and so it made him blind. His hearing was fine, but the whole pack thought he had been cursed because his father was blind in one eye.

The healers within their small pack tried many remedies, but it was of no use. Being born into darkness, Orion didn’t mind one bit. instead he learned to use his sense of touch and hearing as his guide to hunting and fighting. As Orion aged to be about six months old, the higher ranks decided it would be best if Orion was left out of training. They figured that as young as he was, and the fact that he was blind, he would be of no use for the pack except for gathering some herbs and perhaps taking care of the young. Since he had no choice in what they ordered, he simply grew thinking that this was how normal wolves would get along, being taken care of by the elder ones. He was weak with the lack of training, but that did not stop him from playing with his older siblings. Orion had a sister and a brother, named Starlen and Harka. His siblings were not of the kindest nor the wisest. They often made fun of their poor brother and their fake mother. Even though he was the youngest, he often stood his ground with his siblings in order to show that he was brave and could do things like others. He didn’t much like it when they talked badly of the she-wolf that raised them with kindness, in fact, he would often lash out with words of praise to their mother for being able to handle two ignorant wolves and one blind.

Alas, Orion’s story still continues as he aged on from six months to a year. He was taking a walk by himself in order to train his senses so he may take his mother to someplace beautiful. As he walked, something came from behind and barked out orders. “Run! A fire has started and we must escape! Move quickly!” Orion couldn't tell if the wolf was serious or not, but he felt a trust growing inside him as he heard the crackling of the fire from a distance. He followed after the other wolf, trying his best to hone in on the paw-steps and keep up. He tripped often but continued to get up as he refused to be easily defeated and killed by something that burned. When they escaped the lands that were burning, it was then that he realized he had left his family behind to follow a stranger. He spoke and tried to get the attention of the he-wolf, but he was greeted with silence. Panic rose in him as he called out and stumbled about like a fool. Finally, the voice of the stranger rang out. “Tell me young brute, what is thy name?” He stumbled over to where the voice had spoken, only to be greeted by walking into a tree. “Orion, my name is Orion.” The strangers laugh echoed in the air behind him, and so once again he moved. “Orion, you are blind! Yet you seek me. Tell me young brute, have the pack you grown in… have they not taught thou to use the ground and air?” Not quite understanding what the stranger meant, he returned the statement with a snarl. “What do you mean! Do you think that my home has not taught me!? They taught me how to be a wolf among others! I can care for others and walk steady, I am safe when I am with them and that is all I’ll ever need!” Another laugh from the stranger and so Orion continued with his snarls. “Have they taught you to fight? To hunt? To see when you cannot?” With those words, the large stranger leaped at the young he-wolf and pinned him to the ground. “No, they… they said it was not for me to learn those things.” He was rightly confused by what the stranger was saying, but perhaps there was hope for him yet.

The stranger took pity on him, as any father would. He taught Orion how to fight, showing him how to use the opponent's growls to show height, the vibrations of the earth so he may move and avoid being struck. The rogue then taught Orion to hunt, putting the skills learned in fighting to work as stealth. When he made too loud a sound, his father (the stranger) would strike him with great speed and start a spar. Although Orion never knew the stranger was his actual father, he enjoyed thinking of him to be like a father. With the training came long talks about what the Rogue saw. Orion would listen as the brute tried to explain the colors and the beauty of the sights. While he couldn’t fully understand, he was sure they were beautiful and learned to trust the brute with the name Kresha.

Approaching his second year of life, he and Kresha were training upon a mountain ledge when a wild cat attacked. Kresha fought back with the help of Orion, but alas, his life was lost and the young brute was forced to flee unsteadily. Deep down, he knew that Kresha was dead and so a rage grew within his heart as he walked across the lands with injuries. While in a state of rage, he walked across the border of a pack and went deeply into the lands. The Alpha of those lands was on patrol with the Elites when they came across the scent of Orion. They went racing across the lands until they found him, all three lunged and attacked until he could barely stand. The Alpha spoke, but faltered as he looked into the eyes of the wolf he had attacked. The poor soul was blind and as he listened, he heard pity rise in the alphas voice. “Are you blind dear brute?” The question burned in his heart and he slowly answered with a small nod. “It is our fault, I take pity on you. If you want, you may be healed by our finest healers and made an Omega of my pack.” Once again, all he could do was nod his head in agreement.

Orion was helped into the healers den where he was promptly taken care of and then set to rest with a title and a home. After just a few mere weeks, he learned that all the ranks were filled by males and that the females of the pack would breed for the winter and be killed when the pups were old enough to train. Any young fae under the age of six months was chosen to be the next mate of any male in the pack, except for the Omega ranked males. Orion being the only Omega, he did not mind too much as he thought that what the pack did was wrong. However, one female had easily escaped death by being the Alpha’s only daughter. All of the wolves did not dare question the Alpha and so she lived as a Caretaker.

To Orion, the Alpha’s daughter was like a goddess. He loved her but refused to admit his undying love and instead kept silent and did his part to break up fights that started among the others. He was made fun of, but he still stayed as he was very loyal. That winter, the Alpha’s daughter became pregnant with one of the Beta’s young. But instead of putting the death upon her love, she turned around and told her father that it was Orion. He was brought before the Alpha and Beta’s, his head lowered and denying the fact that the Caretaker blamed him. He claimed to never have touched her, but the Beta’s edged on the Alpha’s anger by saying that Orion had lied many times. No matter, the Alpha still pitied him and so he was set free, banished from the lands. As he left the packs lands, the Alpha had changed his mind and so a chase began across the lands. They had caught up to Orion and attacked him until he was near death, and then a small rogue group attacked and stole Orion away from the cruel creatures that dare blame for something he did not do.

Orion became three years of age and now was debt to the Rogues. The Rogues decided to use him in a way he would never understand. They would send him into a pack to join as the Omega, gather information and then lure either the Alpha or one of the high ranks out where he would then be forced to fight to the death. If Orion won, he would be healed and they would move to the next pack. If the other won, then they would return home with news that the Omega was a traitor. He was trained by many as he joined packs and left within mere weeks, when he won the spars, he could hear the Rogues feasting upon the deceased wolf. It disgusted him, but he did nothing about it. When he turned three and a half, he lured his most favorite Alpha from the lands of the pack. With the help of the Rogue leader, he killed the elder and then they left the remains at the main border for everyone to know that their Alpha was gone.

He had finally had enough after that spar, and so when they had healed, he challenged the Rogue leader to a spar of death. Orion won the spar and in victory, he let the Rogue leader live in return for his freedom. They all agreed upon it and so Orion left with a bounce in his step and a joyous heart.

Orion had traveled a year by himself, turning the age of four. As he walked alone one day, a young fae about his age decided to follow him for adventure. He tried to lose her, to confuse her and to chase her away, but she stayed. He found her stubbornness to be refreshing and entertaining. By that winter, he had fallen in love and begged her to be his mate for life. She agreed and that spring was met with three lovely young daughters for him. During the night, when his daughters were about two months old, a Rogue attacked them. The Rogue killed two of his daughters and his mate before he had been able to kill the Rogue. He walked with his last daughter, whose name was Ruby, until they had reached a packs lands where he was greeted by the Alpha. Orion begged and pleaded the Alpha to take his daughter so she may be spared a harsh life. The Alpha agreed since his mate (the alpha’s mate) could not bare young. But the deal was, Orion could not return to the lands. It was all agreed and the Alpha turned to leave but then stopped. “What is her name?” Orion would pause and then start walking away, with a call over his shoulder. “Hope. Her name is Hope.” With that, he would begin his journey in search of a new place to stay without so much terror.

Due to Orion being blind, he will not be allowed entrance into Erenyx. Teren would never allow a "weak" wolf into his borders. So that means he would either have to be Helidos or Agavos. It would be highly unlikely that either pack would allow him to be a Warrior because he does not have the use of his eyes.
