| Note: Bi-colored eyes must be purchased in order to adopt this character Date Available: NowName: HenryGender: MaleAge: 5Rank: HealerAppearance: Henry's appearance is not too odd or too similar to most other Eurasian wolves. His coat is made up of several shades of browns, blacks, and tans. The color combinations give the impression of his fur being layered and thick, even when it's thing in the summer months. His body is not the thickest, but he makes up for that in height. Standing at 82 centimeters tall, Henry is a rather large male. His frame isn't think and broad, but rather slim and strong. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in speed. His thin body makes it easier for him to quickly speed through the wilderness if so needed. His thin appearance makes him appear smaller than an average male, but without a doubt can hold his own.
The most striking feature of the male, is his eyes. While most have a simple solid color for both eyes, Henry's irises are colored differently. His left eye is a beautiful emerald green, while the right is a magnificent golden yellow. His favorite feature of himself.Personality: Henry is a confusing male to understand when it comes to emotions. He is not nice, nor his he mean. He doesn't show them often, or at all for the matter. While most would look at him as if he was emotionless and incapable to love, they would be far from right. Henry is a known introvert by those who have met him, as he doesn't bother to join in large groups as he gets bored very quickly. If he is alone or with one or two others, he is more likely to open up to them if they are trusted companions. Henry rarely open himself up to those, as he refuses to let anyone take advantage of him again, as done before. He keeps his guard up constantly, and to crack him, you have to be a very convincing liar or a very good friend. He's not one to not notice a lie.
When it comes to others in general, Henry will be there to assist if needed, but expects nothing in return for willingly helping another. He refuses to accept any gift from one who he has voluntarily assisted in a time of need. He did it all for the purpose of someone needing help. Although, in his younger years, he would have sat there and watched them struggle rather than trying to help anyone but himself. Henry is not one to lie, as he hates liars and those who take advantage of others. This, again, was another thing he would have done in his past, but refuses to do now nor let another get away with such a thing. He is an honest brute and will remain as such. Henry is very good with common manners and such. He will bow his head to his superiors and address them as "Sir/Mister, or Madam/Miss". He will share food if he happen to find another who is wishing for a snack, or even a full meal. He never wished for anything in return unless he doesn't like you or he is asked to do something he doesn't exactly enjoy. At that point, you will be expected to give him something in return.
Henry had never expressed a strong interest in fighting since his younger years, and has taken up the knowledge of herbs. He prefers the soothing remedies rather than the scent of blood at this point in his life for himself. Due to his odd and disturbing past, Henry still has some of his violent and aggressive tendencies.Photo: History: Born in a cave in the darkness of night to his mother and father as they waited for their young to come into the world within the Healer's den. Four little pups were born in the late hours. Three males, and one little female. Will, Henry, Vince, and Sage. Second eldest to the autay and delta of the pack, Henry would grow to be one of the most hated wolves within his area for many years until his disappearance.
At six months, Henry began to hang out with the wrong crowd of pups. The "delinquent" pups. They were the hell raisers of the pack and had a way of thinking that would terrify even the strongest of the pack. They had thoughts and discussions of killings and murders and rape. They laughed at the imaginary pain of their victims. Soon, they would form their group and attempt to carry out these thoughts and deeds they had talked about. One pup in particular, was the "leader" of the group. An apprentice by the name of West. Just West. He was raised in an awful place before he came to their pack, and constantly bragged about ow he saved himself and killed all of the others who were mean to him. Henry was oblivious to the fact that West was a killer before he knew it himself. It was clear by the look in his eyes when he spoke of killing, and at the time, Henry admired him.
Blinded by them to the reality of what they would soon take action upon, Henry continued to hang out with this group of males, at the age of two at this point, that had named themselves "West Wolf Killers". When parents or other adults asked about the name, they claimed that it was a club they had created just for fun. In reality, it was their own personal gang. They tormented the younger pups and the omegas themselves. The group was feared by the weak, innocent, sick, and soon to be the entire pack. West had decided that they needed an initiation in order to remain in the gang, and Henry was the first one to be pushed to the task by the others. What did he have to do? Kill one of the three, four month old pups that resided in the healer's den, and bring the body to West in their secret gathering place. Henry agreed and set off to his mission. The young male snuck into the den while the healer was out looking for herbs and the moth of the pups was out fetching a meal for the little ones. Slipping into the den undetected, his bi-colored eyes focused of the small pile of sleeping pups. He crept over to them, and his maw was stretched into a toothy grin. He snagged the closest pup to him, and took off with him in his jaws. The pup wailed and screamed for help as his kidnapper, and soon killer, carried him off into the woods.
Henry arrived at their secret meeting place wight he still alive pup in his teeth, sinking them in slowly and adding pressure each time he squealed. West had a look of pride and murder on his face as he watched Henry walk in with the pup. West then commanded him to kill the pup right then and there. The young killer then nodded and roughly dropped the young puppy to the group. The little one looked up at him with fear in his eyes, whimpering with his tail tucked and calling for his mother. Henry then grinned and sank his teeth into the puppy's belly. The pup wailed with pain as his killer took grip, then begin to shake violently. Tearing the organs of the small creature with no remorse or hesitation. The pup was fading fast, but still continues to cry. Blood was oozing from the sides of Henry's jaws as he then flung the body of the pup across the way. The pup's body tumbled across the ground, only hearing a slight whimper as the cheers from the other boys had died down. Henry walked over the his victim, where he was barely hanging to life. The killer looked down at the innocent pup, and spoke only two words before crushing the pup's skull with his jaws. "Bed time."
West praised Henry for his work as they discussed leaving the body somewhere, making it appear for him to have been killed by a predator. In order to explain the blood-stains on his muzzle, one of the other males tossed him a squirrel that was recently caught. He rubbed his muzzle in the blood of the rodent to cover his tracks, and it worked. The pack then came to find the body of the young pup, uncovering it near a cave that was infamous to housing a mountain lion. While the rest of the pack grieved for their lost young, the group of males celebrated their first murder of many through the next two years.
The gang had committed a total of 12 murders by the time they reached age four. They had never been caught, but were suspected of many but never convicted by the pack. it wasn't until one night, where they planned a kill, that Henry would be the one paying the price for their bad choices. They had arranged for Henry and one other to sneak into the alpha's den and kill one of their young. The two males quietly made their way up to the alpha's den, where the alphess was at rest with her young closer to the entrance, but still very near to her. The alpha himself was out for a midnight hunt with some of his higher ranks, which happened to be the one night he would regret leaving his mate and children. Henry snuck in and clamped his jaws onto the back of one of the pups, who immediately released a loud screech. The alphess woke, panic in her eyes as she saw someone with her baby in his jaws. Henry froze for a moment, them quickly shook and sank his canines into the little being, resulting in instant death. The alphess snarled and launched himself at him if a flurry of attacks. Henry managed to escape her grasp and run away from the area, leaving the other male to handle the situation on his own. He ran and ran, not stopping for anything. He knew he would be killed if he returned, so he kept running.
Six months after the death of the alpha's young, Henry had been living alone in the wilderness, his brothers not there to assist him in hunting and survival. He was all alone. Through that time, he had a lot of time to think about what things he had done. He was unsure of if it was right or wrong, as he was basically raised by his gang into such a life, yet had a twinge of remorse for killing so many alongside his brothers. He thought for days, weeks, and he was still unsure. He wondered if he wanted to start a new life and turn over a new leaf. He knew that morally, what he did was wrong. The only conflicting thing was that it felt right to him at the same time.
He came to understand that what he did was not entirely okay, still living by the rules that his brethren had created in their group before the night he had to flee and become a fugitive. He swore to himself that if he had to, he would kill again. He would avoid it as much as possible in order to attempt and live a different life that he could have had if he had not decided to befriend the wrong wolves. This was the point where Henry, the fugitive, had come across somewhere that could possibly offer him a new home, without his reputation as a murderer being known. |
