| The morning air was crisp with the smell of flowers and dew drops, and a cascade of beautiful yellows, oranges, and faint pink lined the horizon in a dazzling display. Spring was here, and Locke could feel the happiness lining his stomach with the excitement for new life - for both the land and his pack members. His paws seemed to dance along the floor of the pasture, and there was a genuine smile on his lips. Yellow eyes beaming towards the ever approaching sun, Locke pointed his ears towards the horizon and wagged his fluffy tail. The wolf had been so excited he had not been able to keep still, so he had decided to take a short adventure to one of the surrounding lands outside of Helidos. He had been taking a lot of adventures lately outside of the usual, for his mind had been racing about the black dame of Erenyx he had become acquainted to. Her sharp words had pierced through his mind, and she was just as bossy in his mind as she was in physical form. With winter over, however, his mind was free yet again to focus on daily chores, and she seemed like a faint dream now. Taking in a deep breath, Locke sighed contentedly. Worry and despair were gone now, and he was beginning to feel like the cold clutch of the bitter winter had been shook free from his white pelt.
The pasture were blooming beautifully with the arrival of spring; vibrant pink flowers bloomed along the short trees, draping their long tendrils down to touch those who passed them by, and the pasture was growing lush with soft grass. A group of rabbits bounced together through the long grass - ears erect and ever watchful of the wolf whose path was erratic through their pasture. Locke took no heed to the rodents, though. His belly was full from the bountiful game that spring had brought with its grace, and he was content to watch the other creatures enjoy the beauty just as much as he. Still, the present feeling of loneliness grabbed his heart quickly as Locke sat quietly underneath one of the beautiful trees. 'It is a shame that none are able to join me, now' he thought to himself, yawning. 'Beauty is to be shared together - I would be selfish to take all of this in myself.' Smiling, the white brute closed his eyes and let the sweet aroma of the flowers embrace him. A soft morning breeze rustled through the pasture, barely lifting the strands of his pelt in gentle motion. Things felt right.

| Pharikas paws padded quietly on the freshly revealed ground her eyes gazing over the beautiful landscape. She spent all winter in Agavos and still no ranking up from Omega, Though she was pleased with herself for staying in a pack. However he only wolf she really talked to had been Elite Fel, A gruff fae with fur the color of a majestic raven. She could honestly say she did miss her friend from Helidos, A snowy male she met a few times. He was the one to make her feel ok about her lowly rank. He explained to her it's values. If it hadn't been for him she might have just thrown herself into the sea and let it take her.
Her nose twitched with the sweet smell of spring flowers. Yes spring was a beautiful season, the pitter padder of tiny pup paws and the buzzing of bees. Though agavos had no pups this season it was surely due to the fact that they were just starting out last fall. Approaching the pasture of flowers her eyes spotted movement and fur. Quickening her pace she stopped several feet from the brute. "Locke? Is that you?" she asked hesitantly. Though the two had only spoken a few times she considered Locke to be her closest friend, she wondered if his feelings were the same. Maybe he didn't even remember her. |

| The sweet scents of the flowers and fresh grass overwhelmed the white brute dulling his mind and senses. The soft lap of the wind whistled in his ears, yet the warrior paid no heed to the gentle disturbance; his mind was at peace for once now. Opening his yellow eyes slowly, a faint smile traced the outline of the wolf's lips - watching the tendrils waver in the air, he noticed that some had yet to blossom. 'Spring has still yet started. There will be many surprises and beauty to be had yet this season.' Slowly a small, pink petal drifted downwards and landed on his snout. Chuckling to himself, Locke tilted his head to allow the petal off - it drifted crazily to the ground, landing on his paw. It was then that the soft, feminine voice arose from the air. Catching the white brute off guard, Locke looked up quickly from the ground towards the sound startled. He saw her then, standing gracefully in the pasture feet from him. "Pharika?" Confused and a little bit curious, Locke's mouth opened again to speak, but closed in hesitation. She was different now than before - the wind carried her scent towards him, and it was not that of his home anymore. She had been one of the few that had disappeared one day and never returned. 'I was so worried about you, Phar.. why would you go?' Looking at the sky above, which was now beginning to grow blue with the growing day, Locke stood silent for a moment. Pharika had been the first wolf he had grown to know back in Helidos; his first and closest friend. It had felt like they had both needed the support of the other - she for her friendship and company to give, and he for the support and motivation to urge her on. Yet, here they were with confusion and a small distance. Turning back towards her slowly, Locke gently smiled at her. "It is me, Phar. I missed you. You left me all alone, you know." Steadily he raised to his paws, careful not to worry her, and shook his fur. The small petal on his paw readily caught the wind of the breeze and began to fly away gracefully into the sky.
Remembering the concern of the dame from the last time they met, Locke hung close to the tree as he watched her from under its shade. There were things he wanted to ask, yet he was unsure if they were proper to ask. 'Why did you go, Pharika? Are we on enemy terms, now?' He looked at her blue eyes and the wind blowing along the grass underneath their paws. His thoughts were filling his mind rapidly, but with clarity. 'No. I can not call her my foe. If she is happy now, then I must be happy for her.' Wagging his tail, Locke took a few steps forward calmly. "What happened to you?" He could forgive, but he wanted to know what had become of her. |

| The tawny fae let out a sigh of relief at the snowy males words. It was Locke and he did remember her, But something aired about him. He was...Weary of her? "Locke, Agavos...We aren't like Erenxy. But we aren't like Helidos. We are more....I don't know, Free i guess? And i would never ask you to leave Helidos, But i will tell you, Agavos is so much more inviting. A few other Helidos members joined too. Its great....Locke i miss you. I miss talking with you...Even if you don't want to leave Helidos, I just want to tell you that i'll always be here for you." She confessed her blue eyes filled with the truth of her little speech.
She was unsure of whether or not Locke would believe her words or not but they were all true. Sighing she looked up at the sky, Her eyes watching some innocent fluffy white clouds dancing lazily across the sky. She sometimes wished to be like those clouds, Carefree, Up in the sky, With absolutely no worries. She nearly laughed out loud at the unreal thought, No worries? As if that would ever happen. Not just for her but for anyone. No one could live without worries and if they did how would that be living? Wouldn't it be more of just existing? Sighing she cast her ice blue gaze back to Locke. She did so wish she could convince him to join her. Maybe they would end up as more than friends if he did...Hopefully. |

| A small shiver ran down Locke's spine as the dame quickly began to describe this 'Agavos.' There had been whispers on the tongues of others about an Agavos, yet with his constant travels and busy schedule Locke had not yet had the time or company to listen. Looking down, the brute licked his lips with his pink tongue in thought. 'They are not like Erenyx, which is a relief.. But I cannot say I feel safe with this news.' Nervously tilting his head towards the fae, he listened intently to her words. 'The missing wolves of Helidos - they joined Agavos, then.' Did she expect him too to accompany their actions and join this mysterious pack? The mocking words of the black Erenyx dame wrung in his mind, "'Helidos is not the best pack to be apart of, it is full of broken lies.'" Internally shaking his head, the white brute shook the thoughts from his mind. Following the expressions planted on Pharika's face, Locke looked into her sparkling blue eyes in the morning sunlight. Truth seemed to fill her words, and he could not believe that she meant him any trouble or harm. "I too will always be around to assist you with any of your hardships, my lady Pharika. I have missed your presence in Helidos; things seem colder since your departure." His mouth hung open for a moment, as if meaning to say more, but he closed it with a nervous lick. Her words conveyed him a deeper meaning; she wished for him to join her. 'I'm sorry, Pharika.. but Helidos is my home. I cannot follow a new leader, for my loyalty has been handed to the kindness of Lady Quinn and Master Fenris - their hearts are true, and I know that I will always follow their moral actions with obedience.' Quietly thinking to himself, Locke lowered his right ear in contemplation. He could not follow a leader he knew nothing of, for the past must not repeat itself with an unpredictable leader. Encouraging the surrounding packs' wolves to leave their home came as suspicion to the ever worrisome male, and worry itself for Pharika sparked in his chest. Would she be safe there? The desire to protect her ignited inside of his mind; she was the first to truly connect with him, and offer him her company. Yet, he knew that he could not do that now. Pack borders separated them from daily contact, and he had to trust that she was capable of managing herself. 'She sought to become a lead warrior - she must be a true fighter underneath her grace. I should not worry.'
Clearing his throat, Locke genuinely smiled at the she-wolf. Together in the pasture filled with bountiful life, they seemed almost like the characters that stories told of - heroic warriors and damsels in distress. 'I think a rock would have more heroic traits than I, and Pharika does not seem like she is in utmost distress.' Musing to himself, Locke watched the dame look up into the sky above. "How have you been then, Phar? How has life been for you in Agavos?" Nothing had really affected his life lately, aside from the fading image of the brutish Erenyx dame that still occasionally walked his dreams, but he was certain there were new business with Pharika. "Have you found kindness in Agavos company?" |

| She hadn't expected him to join Agavos. Locke was too loyal to Quinn and Fenris. A good trait to have, loyalty, but sadly Pharika felt his was misplaced. Though she wasn't going to patronize him or try and sway his opinion, he could make his own choices. Smiling at him she pondered his question "Well, we've had no pups born this spring, however I presume that is due to our being a newer pack. Though Alpha Desmond did return one day smelling of a fae...My rank still remains omega but i've been acquainting myself with the higher ups in an attempt to change that. I'm still in search of a mate with little luck, but I should hope I still have many years to find one. How about you? Anything new in Helidos?" she finished, confident that anything she would say to Locke about Agavos would remain secure. She highly doubted that he would go blabbing all of Agavoses secrets to the Helidos leaders. Sighing she looked up at the sky her icey eyes seeming to search for something, something that she wasn't even aware of. Maybe she was wishing for the sky to grant her a mate, or a friend in Agavos. Or maybe she was just searching for clouds. Who would know the answer to that if not her? Snapping out of her daydreaming she refocused on Locke, awaiting his response. |

| A feeling of disappointment seemed to wash over the dame, and Locke could not help but feel a little apologetic. While his loyalty would remain constant to his alphas, a little part of him did wish to be within the company of this fae without the problems of pack borders. Communicating and meeting others had been a problem he had not yet overcome, and relationships within his pack were minimal only because of his distant personality. They were kind, good wolves - it was his own fault. Helidos would no doubt refuse to harbor Pharika again though, and the white brute had vowed to remain in Helidos until his dying days. "I'm happy that you're trying hard to prove that you are better than omega, Phar. You are. Within time, they'll realize you have special talents worth providing to the pack." A smile lined his lips. Petals danced above in the wind as they released their grasp from the blossom trees and began to move freely. With his fur blowing slow and graceful with the gentle breeze, Locke padded further out into the pasture. The grass was lush under his paws; gentle and soft to the touch. He did not stray feet from Pharika, but now his while coat shined brightly with the morning sun. The warmth felt amazing after so many long winter nights. Turning his head to the dame, Locke tilted his head ever so slightly. "I am surprised you still have yet found a mate companion." Turning his head back to the beautiful pasture, the white brute took a deep breath in - the floral aromas tickled his nose. "It is so beautiful, here." he mumbled under his breath to no one in particular.
Would what he told Pharika stay secure? One little piece of information could provide an upper-hand for this mysterious pack. Although he had no idea of this 'Desmond,' Locke knew he didn't like him. 'How shallow of me, to judge a wolf so outright.' Although his mind told him it was a little harsh, the opinion still stood without interruption or doubt. "Springtime brought the arrival of whelps to our home. They are young, but already they are getting into constant mischief." Locke chuckled softly under his breath, thinking of poor Quinn. If it wasn't one pup it was another, and she had been everywhere lately. Thankfully the caretakers were there to help as well. "Otherwise, Helidos has been peaceful and happy." There had been no drama, no hardships. It was just how Locke liked it, too. Peaceful. |

| Pharika followed behind Locke at a slow pace, Her azure orbs following his path like water down a carved out river bed. Smiling as she listened to the ivory brute speak of Helidos' new pups, and how troublesome they were she sighed. "Some day I hope have pups of my own but who knows. Maybe I will next spring, Maybe I won't for many springs to come, maybe I never will. That's just how life is. You never know whats gonna happen for sure." she mused shaking out her fur. As her fur shook the swirls of silver, brown, tan and black sparkled brilliantly in the sun and loose flower petals cascaded from her back like leaves off a tree in the fall, landing gracefully on the flowered ground under her paws. She did so wish that next spring or even the spring after that she could birth a little of her own and raise them into fine young Agavos members. Though she knew she wouldn't have pups without a mate and she wouldn't have a mate if she didn't make any friends of the male gender. Sighing she flicked some flower petals off her paws and continued her stroll. This was nice, Locke would make some fae very happy, the white male was the kindest and most generous wolf she had ever met, and she had met a lot of wolves in her time as a loner. |

| What was his own fate? The ivory wolf let his golden gloves flick to the sky above as the puffy white clouds were wavering across the horizon, and the faint flower petals were disappearing with the wind. Would a mate or pups ever cross his path? A smile lined his lips. It did not matter what his fate was - he would take it with stride. 'I have already come so far from my past. It feels all but a dream now; a dream where i've since woken up and found myself walking in a kind, accepting world.' He watched Pharika walk for a bit, his ears pricked downward in contentedness. 'I am happy with what I have become, now. Change can be fickle, but for me, it has been good.' Of course, Pharika's leaving had been a change that he had not appreciated as much. While happy that she was finding Agavos a better fit for herself, there was doubt that they would be able to spend much time together now, if he even found himself capable of finding time. He had been too distant from Helidos now, and he could see that. Helidos would have to come before personal advances. 'I've taken more from them that i've given back. I want to change that.' It was a sad concept, but there was nothing to be done about it; She seemed set and loyal on Agavos. 'She has finally found the place that she can call home. This is for the better.' Frowning for a moment, Locke looked out to the pasture away from the dame. Things could have been different if she had stayed, but as she walked away from Helidos, paths had become blocked for the both of them. With their home standings as they were, he doubted if it would be possible to move the blockage.
Turning his gaze back to the tri-colored fae, Locke cleared his throat. "You know, sometimes you just have to take charge of your own fate. If you want something badly enough, then you can't wait for it to find its time to you." Perhaps things would not be what they could, but he was happy in the company of this dame. "Would you take a stroll with me through the pasture, Lady Phar?" Waiting for her to join him, Locke slowly began to walk through the grass. Pink trees littered the pathways, and the ground looked like it was colored with pink polka dots. If only he could keep the beauty forever; however, time had a way of deciding against that. Seasons would come and go, and the Blossom Pasture would change with time. Things were always changing. However, it could not change the beauty of the place that resided in memories in his mind. At least, not for many years to come. Blinking his eyes, Locke shook his head. 'Thank you, Phar, for allowing me to see how strong my loyalties have come.' He knew it wasn't what she wanted, but the warrior was happy with the realization she had given him. She was his friend - his best friend. Teasingly nudging her flank, Locke chuckled. "So, my dear Phar. Have you met anyone in Agavos that you have taken a liking to? Oh, have they been kind to you? I must pay that pack a stern visit if you tell me no." His words were gentle but humorous, and his paws seemed to dance along as he walked. |

| Pharika nodded along to what the white brute had to say. She agreed whole heartedly with everything the male had said about fate. As for his decision to not leave, well that was his choice. If he chose to stay in helidos then so be it, he knew what was best for himself. In a way Pharika knew it was a good thing that he had so much loyalty, it meant he had a good, strong heart. One that would someday belong to a fae and pups for his sake. Was Pharika looking forward to seeing Locke with someone? No of course not, but she wouldn't loath him for it. She just wanted him to be happy, that's all she wanted. As he spilled out questions she thought on them for a while before answering. "Well, not really. There aren't many I have affiliated myself with, within the pack, though I can say the Alpha himself is rather dashing. she paused to let out a single, quick laugh. "Not like I would ever have a chance with him. Not that I would even attempt to have anything with him. He is my alpha and I find flirting with him to be disrespectful. In any case all those I have come in contact with have been decent. An elite by the name of Fel was a bit unpleasant but Im sure the old fae will come around. I here rumors of an Agavos pack meeting coming up soon and I hope to get promoted" she replied, a bit of hope and excitement in her voice. She wished to be a warrior, though the position of gaurdian crossed her mind more than once in the past few days. |

| The lush, long grass was flattened partially as the warrior's white paws pressed down against it leaving behind a little trail of prints that would eventually straighten back out. Comfortable silence fell between the two companions as the she-wolf thought about his endless questions. The afternoon was growing upon them now, and soon Locke would have to go back to his home in Helidos to do some of his chores. The sun shone brightly upon his snowy white coat, making him stand out blankly against all the pretty colors of spring. Flicking his eyes over to Pharika as she spoke, the brute nodded along. He could not help but chuckle as she mentioned that her alpha was dashing. "My my, Phar! You're aiming high, I see! Well, if you think he is a fine wolf then perhaps I should not worry too much about Agavos or your well-being. I'd agree with you though - perhaps your feelings shouldn't be blatantly expressed, haha. Let him see who you are. However..." Turning to her now, his golden eyes looked a little sad "I guess we can't talk as much now, huh? I have my responsibilities in Helidos to fulfill, and you have to prove yourself to that dashing alpha of your's that you're better than omega. I'll be around to listen if you ever need me, though - i'll always see you as my first friend, Pharika." He paused and smiled at the dame. "I hope that meeting comes soon for you. Do you still seek to be lead warrior?" He spoke, trailing off a little bit. A few birds chirped in one of the pink trees, carrying along a little tune. This pasture was wonderful. |
