Shia carried himself with pride, speckled paws carrying him over the new lands he had discovered. His brown eyes scanned the area, it was a large area with a lake that looked like it would always hold his reflection. His tongue flicked out nervously, hungrily. He hadn't eaten in over a day or so, his body felt weak. He liked the taste of others blood, shredding apart a wolf. But he was still young, and he knew he couldn't really fight wolves that were older then him. His tail flicked, ears perking forward as he thought about traveling some more. But the lands were so beautiful, and surely he would stick around long enough to fall in love with someone. His eyes turned bitter as he stared at himself. Who needs love? He shrugged as he thought quietly to himself. He shifted his head and breathed in and out, a small smirk growing across his face. "Tsk, Where shall I go now?" He hissed out the words, turning tail and leaving the lake behind him. His brown eyes glared at the blue sky above him. Why must you be so bright? His mind twirled in thoughts as he walked alone. He took to the shadows, as if the sunlight burned him. He growled quietly to himself, his stomach almost making the same sounds. His ears perked as he heard the sound of a small twig snapping. Food. A smile danced across his maw as he moved quickly through the shadows towards the beast in the distance. He pounced, snapped it's neck. It was a decently plump hare. He ate in silence, letting his body drop to the ground. After he finished his meal, he started hunting full on as if he were preparing for Winter. He had caught three hares, and one fawn that had been lost from it's mother. He wagged proudly, stacking the hares on the fawn and dragging it's body across the ground. He would have continued hunting, but he had crossed the border of a pack. It had hit his nose too late. His eyes widened and he dragged the fawn back across the border. But it looked like he had hunted it over the border. He growled lowly, ashamed of himself. He let out a stubborn bark, and then a long and lasting howl. He would give the fawn and hares as a gift to the pack in hopes they would forgive him for crossing the border-line. His amber brown eyes just stared into the void, nothing really settling with him. He would wait, apologize and leave unless they wished him to join their pack. He was a demon, but he could be kind when his hide was on the line.

It had been months since she gave birth to her darling pups. But they had worn her out far more than her first litter. The young wolves were heavily guarded and protected over. She would not allow any wolves to go through what her young was forced into. Perhaps Quinn had been too strict with them, but she didn't care. It was what was best for her young. The Alphess wandered from the protection of the pack clearing. She was headed for the borders to make her rounds once again. This was the only time she felt complete peace and quiet. Yes, she may have been visited by a guest or forced to chase off some foxes, but it was not bad. She actually got to think of everything that had been building within her life. Her mate was her rock, and though they had a bumpy start in these new lands, she was ever so happy to have found him once again. A smile was brought to her lips as she thought of Fenris, unable to contain her joy in her presence, even when he was nowhere to be found. The small Alphess found herself stuck in thought as a howl broke her mind up.

Ears twitched towards the sound as her tail curled over her spine. Her paws dashed through the grass and weeds as she made her way to the area the call had originated from. The fae was quick on her paws, her small frame helping her race across the lands. She weaved around the base of trees and fallen branches. As she approached, she could smell the scent of fresh blood. The scent sent a tingle down her spine. She knew it well. Those damned foxes must have killed something again or perhaps her guest was in trouble? Both of these thoughts forced the Alphess to run even faster than she had been running. When she was finally nearby, she slowed. There was a lot of blood before her. If there was emanate danger, she needed to come up with a plan of escape. Tail still curled over her back, she moved from the cover of bushes to see a wolf with several dead bodies around him. The largest kill had left a trail of blood behind. This trail had crossed the border, leaving the lands of Helidos. It had been a long time since Quinn had to be so aggressive to a wolf coming to her lands, but she needed it to be known that this was not okay. The Alphess snarled, growling, baring her off-white teeth. Her tongue rolled over her fangs and rolled back into her mouth, allowing the saliva to roll from her lips. Her jowls were completely exposed and the fur along her back stood straight up. She sounded like a demon, a sound she was even scared of. "Who do you think you are? Hunting on my lands and dragging it out of my borders to do exactly what with it? You think you can just kill to your heart's content?"

Shia shifted uncomfortably as the Alphess approached him. He looked down and shifted once more, amber eyes slowly lifting to look at the Alphess as innocently as he could, his fur ruffled and his ears flickered against his skull, showing submission. He whimpered, a show for the queen. "I'm so sorry ma'am. I did not hunt on your lands, I swear! The tracks over here, they come from a lake I just came from. I was dragging the fawn and the blood covered my main scents and I crossed your border without meaning too! I dragged it back but I thought as a gift for my mistake, you should have the kill and serve it unto your pack." He whimpered again, lowering his head and tucking his tail under his body. "I-I understand if you wish to punish me miss, I will accept any punishment you serve out to me. I do greatly deserve it for my horrible act!" He almost sounded like a pup who was sincere about getting in trouble, but he was rolling lies off his tongue, just trying to save himself from being hunted down and killed. He sat there, lowering his body to laying down, quivering and letting out soft whines as if he truly feared for his life. But in his mind, if the she-wolf couldn't understand and attacked him, he would defend until he could escape fully. He waited, his body tense but showing all signs of submission. The only thing he didn't do was roll onto his back and show his belly. He wasn't going that far into submission. He slightly shifted, he was very uncomfortable, but he hoped the Alphess would see that the tracks he had been dragging were the flat out truth, he had come from a large lake and caught the prey before accidentally entering the lands of Helidos. He licked his muzzle nervously, his eyes never lifting from the ground. He took in a sharp breath, trying to keep steady as he waited for the she-wolf to see he was telling the truth. He was trying to save his own hide, tail completely under his body. Body close to the ground, chin resting against the dirt. Amber eyes staring holes into the soft earth that felt like a cold, harsh punishment.

((OOC - Quinn has my full permission to injure Shia in any way *except death, unless she wants to completely murder him in the war O3O*))

Quinn listened to the ramblings of the wolf before her. He was going on about how he didn't kill it in her pack lands, but accidentally dragged it over or something. The Alphess had paid little attention to this until this point. Her harvest hues looked over the land, seeking the prints of the animal. It was true. There were no hoof marks within the border. Immediately she had realized she was wrong. She couldn't completely retract her words or her actions. She was an Alphess after all. She allowed her lips to relax, covering the fangs she had showed to him in the most horrendous way possible. She had been furious, but she say the error in her ways. She had never gone this far before. She stood straight up, even though she was still smaller than the wolf before her. Her ears flickered to an upright position and listened for anything else he was going to say. Instead of accepting completely that she was wrong, she spoke in a low tone. It was not friendly or inviting as usual. "It is still wasteful that you kill so much. You are just one wolf. You should have waited until you were accepted before going on your little spree. How do you plan to bring these kills back into my pack if you are to be accepted?"

Shia watched as she finally realized what had happened. He listened to her words and he instantly knew exactly what he'd say. "Well, you see miss, I had been planning on offering these kills to a pack in order to gain acceptance." He let the words fall off his tongue, brown eyes searching the fae. "But now, I offer it as a gift of peace and no harm done." He let innocence cover his demon mask, brown eyes still searching her until he let them drop to the ground, ears still pressing against his skull. He wanted innocent features so that the she would believe every lie he threw at her. He shifted slightly and curled his tail around his body tightly. He didn't really know the lands, nor the name and rank of the she-wolf, but he guessed it was 'Alphess' because of the way she had approached him. "Excuse me miss, I must ask... What's your name? and these lands?" He didn't know if he should ask since he was still iffy about her, and if he could he could escape. He let his eyes shift back and forth, his body swaying side to side with the wind. He looked upon his paws, brown speckled with grey and white. He licked his muzzle gently and shifted once more, studying his surroundings. Everything was too pretty, not enough dark and evil. He was a demon walking among angels, no place to call his home. His brown eyes soaked in the entire area, peaceful to the point of making him feel sick in the stomach. He twisted slightly, trying to gain more knowledge on his surroundings. He coughed gently, allergies from the pollen catching up with him. A gentle sneeze, and he finally turned back to the Alphess. "Beautiful lands here, Miss." Sickening, really.
