Appearance:

Rhazien is of a typical size for a female gray wolf. Coming in at a weight of 75 lbs and standing at just over 81cm from paw to shoulder. She has longer limbs and a thinner body giving her an advantage in agility which some may find hard to match. Her coat is a fusion of both mocha brown and onyx swirled and mixed to create a very unique and distinctive robbing known to be very common within her family. Rhazien’s coat is thick double coated and coarse giving her a hand over cold temperatures, and with it’s thickness it also appears to give her a much larger look to herself. With its coarseness it’s not really known for being soft like some other’s coats maybe but she finds it suits her quite well. Her eyes are a distinctive orangeish color almost resembling the colors of fall. Up and down her legs run many scars obtained throughout her childhood, some caused from playing to rough with her siblings other’s just from getting into trouble and finding herself caught up in briar patches that surrounded certain parts of her packs territory.

History:

Rhazien was born 4 years ago to Nia and Talon the residing alpha’s of her birth pack. She was the second largest pup of the four that had been given life that day. Rhaizen and her older brother Raum were the two most promising in their father’s eyes. Her two younger and much smaller sisters Denali and Alia had been blessed with being the babies of the litter and were also the most babied by their mother Nia. But to Talon they were not truly worth training in the forms of becoming a warrior or a hunter. So from the day Rhazien and Raum were 6 months old they were taken under their fathers wing and had started their vigorous warrior and hunter training. Raum showed great promise in everything he was taught, which lead Rhazien to becoming a little more than jealous over the amount of praise he received from her father. The older she got and the training became more intense she found herself always competing with Raum and pushing herself. Which in the long run found herself over coming her one true competition her own brother. She had only been 2 years old when she finally surpassed her brother and found herself being praised by Talon. It was that day Rhazien vowed to herself that from then on she would never give up or give in to anything. Her goal was and always has been to prove she is just as capable or even more capable as any male.


A few days after the surpassing of her brother, Rhazien left her pack vowing to not return. Maybe it was just the fact she grew restless over the last year or that she wanted something more. But she left feeling as though she had nothing left to learn from them. So with the love and approval of her family and pack she bid them farewell. In search of not only adventure but of a place she could call home, and perhaps find something worthy of learning once more. That had been her life for the last 2 years, always wandering learning more and more as she grew. The life of a wanderer perhaps was not what she had planned on, but definitely taught her more than she could have learned by staying with her family. Thanks to the long years of rogue life Rhazien had picked up on many skills she had found both useful and lifesaving. Her skills as a warrior had saved her life on many occasions, her skills at hunting kept her healthy and fed, and her skills of medicinal knowledge helped keep her alive when she had fallen ill. So at the age of 4 she had found herself yearning for a life other than that of a loner or a rogue as many may have called her. She began her search for a pack and finding herself resting near the borders of one she had heard of in passing she wondered if perhaps luck had finally been placed on her side.

Crisp oxygenated air filled the atmosphere as the vibrant luminescence of the glowing celestial sphere filled the horizon. The brilliance of morning awoke the sleeping creatures from their overly rested state of minds easily. The shrill high pitched calls of the mocking birds waking Rhazien from her sleep and like every morning she awoke with little to no liking to the species.  If up to her feathered anything would not hold breath within it’s lungs for longer than a second before it’s head was popped off within the jowls of some predator deranged from pure hatred of the creature. With a shrug of her shoulders and loud pop of her spine she rose, long forelimbs stretching forth as her chest cavity was lowered to hover dangerously close to the hardened rock surface of the small grotto she had made herself comfortable within for the night prior. Soft humming echoed within her ears as she let her golden orange  gaze linger about the surroundings momentarily,  as the soft humming slowly faded away. The sounds of rodents in the distance chewing upon a root could be heard, and even now as she stood eyes searching the distance she felt a small triumphant smile etched across her lips. Cranium was shook just as she maneuvered out of her hidden grotto and out into the blinding light of what seemed to be the dawn. Slowly padding across the softened terra firma she let her sense’s branch out as ears twitched lightly atop her cranium. Limbs popping in sweet release as mixed hues of onyx and mocha tendrils caught the breeze that swirled across the ancient paths that stretched for miles through the labyrinth she had called home.

Lean extremities carried her effortlessly as she pushed onward through the thick foliage, as the breeze died and she inhaled the fresh scents of evergreen and rain which bombarded the olfactory glands. That smell alone was all she needed to have a wave of relaxation wash over her.  “How wonderful” she mused early morning was already promising to bring rain, which has always been one of Rhazien’s favorite things mother nature likes to offer the world. Circling around a small clearing that was nestled deep within the territory she slowly entered from the north. The soft melody of running water echoing in her ears as she emerged from the inky shadows. The chilling waters called her name as she took on a relaxed stride towards them. Lowering her cranium to meet the water’s edge lingua slipped from her lips making contact with the stream’s surface. Lapping at the life giving substance a few times Rhazien let her cranium rise once more, water dripping down the sides of her jowls as she lowered to rest upon her haunches. Tassel coiling tightly about her slippers she let her gaze wander the small clearing, not a sign of life showed but herself. Even the birds had avoided this place. Why? Maybe it was because of the creature which sat there now or maybe they could sense something she could not, either way the solitude it provided felt welcoming and was what she seeked from the world in the wee hours of the morning.
