| Name: PaisleeGender: FemaleAge: 3 Pack: PyrvanthrosRank Requested: WarriorAppearance: Paislee stands on the smaller side, at 67 cm and weighing in at a skimpy 82 lbs. The female timber wolf has light grey fur over her body with tints of tan and brown. Her face is lined with pale fur in a sort of mask shape. Her eyes are bright blue, like the sky, and definitely eye-catching. While small and skinny, she's extremely quick on her feet and obtains fast reflexes. Her legs, and her body, are thin, a result of her poor eating habits. She tends not to eat as much as she can, leaving her to rely on her speed rather than strength. Being small gives her an advantage though, being able to flee with efficiency and move with stealth. But she isn't to be underestimated, as the little mass she has is pure muscle. She was trained her whole life to take down things nearly twice her size, and it was all about strategy.Photo: History: She was the daughter of two exiles. Well, later to be defined as exiles. When she was born, along with her four other siblings, the alpha decided they deserved a chance to redeem themselves, even if it was far too late for her parents. Her parents had mated without the consent of their alpha, therefore resulting in exile. Her mother, Lila, was allowed to stay until the pups were weaned, but no longer. Paislee was the littlest of her siblings, and the only one with a gray pelt. Her two brothers, Storm and Kaleb were black as night; her sister, Sunny, a deep red; and the other female, Bella, the color of snow. Being the smallest, she was the one who was picked on the most, randomly tackled by her brothers, chased by her sisters. It was tiring, as they always kept her on her feet. She could never get a moment's peace. Finally, that wretched day came when their mother was to be exiled. She and her siblings all sat in the front with the alpha, watching as their mother was driven off the lands. Once she was behind the lines, three of the best warriors chased her into unknown territory, to return later that night. She stared as her mother was herded away by the warriors, and her siblings all looked at the ground. Paislee got up first and pushed her way through the crowd that was required to gather at the border. She headed back to the camp, where she disappeared into the first den she saw. She didn't care who it was, she needed to be alone. She curled into the corner, hiding her face with her tail, silently mourning for her mother. She drifted off into a deep sleep soon thereafter.
She was awoken by a gentle nudging at her side. She whined, not wanting to wake up. But she did, her tired muscles screaming at her for not ignoring the prodding. She sat up and looked for the source of the almost rude awakening. She found herself staring into large green eyes, which were soft and kind. She knew those eyes. Paislee was looking at the alpha. She ducked her head and bowed low to the ground, yelping in apology for her stupidity. "Rise, little one. You've done nothing wrong," said her alpha. She complied, rising to her full height which was only to the large male's shoulder. "My apologies, Alpha. Did I fall asleep in your den?" The brute nodded, but his understanding expression never faded. "You're not mad, sir?" she asked, surprised. He shook his head no, and then he said the words that changed her life. "Paislee, I've been watching you and your siblings. I think that I could mentor you, if you so wished. You're quick, and you have great endurance. I could make you a great warrior."
So, the alpha became her mentor. She later got to know him as Kaine, and he requested that she called him that. When her first training day came, Kaine came to get her from her mother's old den, where she and her siblings resided for the time being. The six-month old pup followed her alpha out to the only mountain in the territory, Moon Peak. Up there, she found another wolf that looked to be around her age waiting. He was mostly gray with tints of black and red. He had bright green eyes like Kaine. Once he saw Paislee and the alpha, he got up and growled slightly. "Where were you father?" the other wolf demanded. Paislee flinched. Nobody talked to an alpha that way and lived to tell the tale. Kaine snarled and snapped at the stranger. "Watch your mouth, Jacob."
"Jacob" turned out to be the only remaining son of Kaine. His brothers had all died, and his sister ran away from the pack to join another. So, Paislee and Jacob trained together. It was a rocky start, and they didn't get along very well. They were constantly competing for glory and the favor of Kaine, but they were an equal match for the most part. While Jacob had brute strength and size, Paislee had speed and wit. When they sparred, often Kaine had to call it a draw because neither could overpower the other. Jacob could never catch her. Paislee could never find the opportunity to attack him. It was like a game of tag. But the more they practiced, the more it turned into a dance. For months they trained under Kaine's mentoring, and finally, they were going to get their ranks.
The day before the ranking ceremony, Paislee went on a walk into the thick forests that surrounded the camp. She knew them like the back of her own paw, every tree, every path. Yet somehow, something didn't feel right as she weaved through the trees and dodged bushes. She stopped, listening hard enough that she began to get a headache. Then, she heard faint footsteps. Her eyes darted around, searching the foggy forest for shadows or other hints og another being in the woods. Who was she kidding? She [i]knew[i] somebody was there with her. The footsteps neared, and she lowered herself into a battle position, quietly. Suddenly, something slammed into her side. She snarled, instantly reacting and twisting to bite onto the thing attacking her. What it was, she had no idea. But she was going to give it hell. She latched onto a chuck of flesh, catching it between her jaws. She yanked, making the attacker yelp and jump off her. She scrambled to her paws, growling fiercely. She dropped the piece of meat in her jaws, and she glared with sharp eyes at the shadow. She quickly realized it to be one of her brothers. "Storm," she snapped. He bared his teeth at her. "Paislee," he snarled.
Suddenly, three more shadows crept out of the fog behind her brother. She held her ground, quickly recognizing her other siblings. They all growled at her. She didn't react. They began circling her, snapping at her. She kept darting her eyes back and forth between them as they threatened her. She was confused. What had she done wrong? She jerked to the side, pretending to leap at one of them. They all responded as she juked them, jumping at her. She snatched whatever she could in her jaws, catching on one of her siblings shoulder. She ripped her head back and forth as another attached themselves onto her back, shredding the flesh on her spine. She growled, before hearing a tear. She yelped, as finally, the pain began to flood through her. She gritted her teeth, trying to hold back a howl of torture. Suddenly, the weight on her back disappeared. She heard a scramble on her left, as she pulled away from the fight, trying to regain herself. Just as she was about to charge back in, she noticed another wolf in the mix. She watched in horror as Jacob tore out Sunny's throat. Another force knocked her off her feet and claws dug into her shoulder.
"How did you get to be the best, Paislee? Going from the runt to the alpha's pet and his son's lover?!" Storm roared. She snapped at his muzzle, drawing a little blood. He snatched a chunk of her side with his teeth, ripping her flesh and tossing it to the side. She couldn't hold back the scream that escaped her maw. And then suddenly, something leapt over her and attacked Storm. Paislee scrambled to her paws, diving away from her brother. She watched a flurry of black and gray, and then it ended. Storm's lifeless body lay underneath Jacob. Bella and Kaleb were growling on the other side of the clearing, Bella limping and Kaleb taking her weight. Jacob dashed at them, and instantly, they both turned tail and ran as fast as they could with Bella's injury. Jacob stood, heaving in the center of the clearing facing away from Paislee. She stumbled a few steps forward, before she collapsed. Jacob wheeled around and grabbed the scruff of her neck, pulling her to her feet. "Come on, we have to go," Jacob said urgently. His voice was frantic, yet kind. She nodded, but she couldn't hold herself up. Jacob dove underneath her as she fell again, holding her up. "Jacob, I can't, go get help," she gasped, blood dripping from her wound rapidly. Jacob growled in defiance, and somehow got Paislee on his back. She tried to catch her breath, but it was impossible. Everything went black.
When she woke up again, everything was blurry and out of focus. "Paislee?" said a voice. She quickly knew it was Jacob's. He was suddenly hovering over her, looking into her eyes. His bright green eyes stared into hers, and she sighed in relief. "Jacob," she whispered. Jacob explained to her that it would be at least a few days before she could leave the healer's den, and the ranking day had been moved so she could get better. For days, she stayed where she was, constantly being checked on and being given herbs. The only time Jacob ever left was to go get her and himself food. Finally, the day came when she was allowed to go about as she would. The ranking day finally came. As she exited the healer den better than ever, she noticed two lines of wolves, making a sort of aisle. Hesitantly, Paislee followed Jacob down the line. Wolves snapped at her heels, growling and snarling at her and Jacob. As they neared the alpha at the end of the line, he waited patiently, not stopping his members for doing what they were. She gulped as she and Jacob stood before Kaine, and suddenly, his expression changed from emotionless and blank to furious and full of rage. Paislee flinched.
"Paislee and Jacob, you've been charged with the murders of Storm and Sunny. For killing not only one, but two of the pack members, you're both sentenced to Exile." With that, three wolves began to close in on her and Jacob. It was just like that day when she watched her mother get chased off. Except now the tables were turned, and she was the one being sent away. Silently and still in shock, she let them herd her and Jacob away. She didn't speak as the warriors ran them off the lands.
For two years, Paislee and Jacob lived together. A few months after they had been exiled, Jacob confessed his love for her. She was beyond surprised, and couldn't handle the news at first. She couldn't say that she felt the same way, because she didn't know what love felt like. For a few days, she wrestled with her own feelings trying to sort them out. But in the end, she realized that Jacob was her rock, and he saved her life. Without him, she'd be dead. Without him, she wouldn't be able to go on. So, they named themselves mates, as there was no alpha to do so. After a year and a half later, Paislee was impregnated by him. Now almost three, she gave birth to three pups. In the harsh conditions they lived in, all of them died within a month. It left Paislee and Jacob devastated, and they decided that they could never try for pups again for they feared of losing more.
One day, she and Jacob were out hunting. It was a few weeks after they'd lost the pups. Out of nowhere, something attacked Jacob. It was a mountain lion, who quickly ended Jacob's life without so much as a minute to spare. Paislee, too shocked to do anything else, ran. She knew it was too late for her mate, but he wouldn't want her to die because she waited just one second before her own life was taken. She sprinted for miles, eventually meeting territories she didn't know. To the lands of Age. She stayed in the Neutral Territories for a few days, but she soon found the four packs. Which one would she travel to? By random, she decided. Just do in one direction and whatever border she would end up in, that's where she would go.Joining Keys: They were here a minute ago...-Delta DesotoHow did you find Age? Ali had just been accepted into F.U.R. and she was beyond ecstatic to begin her life. After years of living in a city where life didn't really exist, she found that this city was the best thing that had ever happened to her. She figured she would need a job soon, but right now, she was just fine where she was.
She scurried around her dorm room, picking up random things and throwing them in random places. It didn't necessarily make the place look better, but it did make it look like she tried to put some effort into it. Sighing, she gave up with her cleaning objective and ran to her closet where she took off her lounging clothes, which consisted of sweatpants and a pullover hoodie. She swiftly changed into a gray crop top and some ripped jeans. She walked to her desk and put on a butterfly necklace. She grabbed her phone and her earbuds and ran out the door, quickly going down the stairs to the first floor where she exited the main doors and walked out to the main road where she called a cab. Sliding into the backseat, she requested to go downtown, and she would tell him where to stop. The city buzzed around her as she rode passed the lights and people walking about. "I'll just get out here," Ali said to the driver as they neared the Hitchcock Theater. She quickly grabbed some cash out of her pocket which she had gotten from working at the last city she was at temporarily, but it was running short. She would definitely need a job soon.
She paid the driver and got out of the car, climbing up the steps to the large building. A movie wouldn't kill her, right? She bought some tickets to a promising movie and went inside, passing the snack stand without a second glance. She had a mental war about the problem with her shortage of cash. Job, job, job, she told herself over and over again. She smiled though as she came to Theater 6 and she walked through the double doors. Much to her surprise, the room was empty, except for one other sitting a few rows up. The movie had already started, and she felt kind of awkward. He probably wanted the whole theater to himself, and she felt a bit like an intruder. She, as quietly as possible, climbed the stairs to a row much further back from him and self-consciously sat down. Did he notice her? Would he care?
