Something tall and black moved through the forest of Eden's Hollow. The something was a young male wolf, his long legs carrying him swiftly over the ground. His paws dragging more than normal due to his sore muscles and tired gaze. Teeku was glad to finally have a home, but the past five months of journey had weakened him. The fact he wasn't truly up for exploring hadn't stopped the young brute from doing so though. He was eager to discover more about the territory he'd be calling home. So eager he'd left camp early in the morning. The chill of the morning helping to numb his sore muscles and allowing him to focus on taking in his new surroundings. Fall had turned the trees a brilliant array of oranges, yellows, browns and reds. Every direction Teeku looked there was something to stare at and admire.
Early morning melted into late morning as Teeku arrived at the creek which ran through Eden's hollow. Pausing he dips his maw down into the chilly waters and laps it up with a long pink tongue. His amber eyes scanning his surroundings as he did so still accustomed to looking for predators and attackers. Here he felt safer than he had in months however. He knew others were around others who would help him in the time of need. It was a feeling Teeku cherished after his time alone.
Blinking his amber gaze, Teeku raises his head water dribbling off his muzzle and back into the creek. Water washed over his paws numbing them, he closes his eyes a moment taking a deep breath, his ears flickering at the sounds of the leaves rustling in the wind. The chatter of birds who'd yet to fly south, the squabbling of squirrels fighting over acorns. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been able to just pause and enjoy his surroundings. Most lands he'd come upon in his travels had been inhibited and those who lived there none too welcoming. But then he'd met Rose, sweet little Rose Guardian of his new home and Teeku's new teacher. He liked the fae she was different from the wolves he'd met in the past. And it didn't hurt that he found her to be rather appealing to the eye. Eyes blinking back open Teeku leaps from the creek and starts to tread along its side, his paws sinking in the mud, enjoying its chilly softness.
