 beta irrationality
Irrationality, himself, isn’t a bad wolf, but it’s hard to describe him as an individual because, in summary, he is a manifestation of the belief system and the desires of the current wolf superior to him. He quite simply doesn’t understand how to think for himself. He has never wanted anything, has never felt anything surpassed loyalty, and that hollowness will undoubtedly be his fatal flaw. There’s no hope for him to be other than what he is; Irrationality borders on unfeeling, and is numb to any pain and/or suffering he will cause at the beckon of his alpha. He’s not a monster by any means of the word and, if he had a say in the matter, he wouldn’t hurt a fly, but a command from his alpha is something he couldn’t ignore even if he wanted to. As far as he’s concerned, he exists to be of service to one wolf at a time, and nothing but the death of his alpha or his own death can change that. Essentially, he’s a puppet on tight strings.

Friends: Irrationality doesn’t have many of these, and I don’t think it’s plausible that he ever will in his lifetime. Nothing comes between his loyalty to his alpha and, in that sense, his alpha is the only friend that he needs. I think it would be interesting for someone to try and get to know him better despite this. It wouldn’t be impossible. He rubs off as a little unsociable, but he’s friendly just the same, and he wouldn’t deny someone his companionship without good reason. However, a fair warning to any takers: Alpha Teren is practically in control of him. If he asked Irrationality to kill the wolf who was trying to befriend him, he would comply without second thought. His mind operates like a machine. Relationships, of any kind, mean nothing to him when compared to his loyalty.

Enemies: An enemy of Alpha Teren’s is an enemy of Irrationality’s. He wants to see his alpha succeed, and he intends to stand by him no matter the cost. I like to think that Irrationality (in character) is well-liked, and that most of the wolves around him know his thoughts and his actions aren’t purely his own—but that he’s almost manipulated into supporting Alpha Teren’s dictatorship due to his nature to serve an alpha. I would love to see someone opposed to Alpha Teren try their luck at getting him to switch sides. For obvious reasons, it would never be successful. He could be kept in the dark enough so that said wolf wouldn’t get exiled and/or killed, but I wouldn’t be opposed to him finding out their intentions so long as the other roleplayer was on board. He would go to his alpha immediately to report.

Love Interests: Irrationality doesn’t have the capacity to love someone. I could only see him getting involved in a relationship if his alpha thought Erenyx needed more young that wasn’t fathered by solely him. I’m certainly not opposed to a she-wolf trying to court him, but just know in advance that it wouldn’t amount to anything special. It could be funny to see someone try and flirt with him though. I don’t think he’d even notice.

 warrior styx
Oftentimes, Styx will be narrated through roleplay unreliably to better reflect her mental instability. Despite her unpredictability, she’s quick-witted, sharp as knives, and highly perceptive. She feels everything on a deep, personal level, but has a convincing front of emotionlessness and detachment. It’ll be difficult to get close to her, but not because she’s protective of her feelings. Styx doesn’t understand that her mind is flawed rather than enhanced; it will sometimes turn against her and make her believe things that are untrue or forget things that she’d want to remember. Her mind and its many dark, intimate levels made her kill her own mother, and she doesn’t even know it’s her fault—she thinks she killed her father, and stopped his massacre, but he was never even there to begin with. She will be prone to episodes of unannounced hostility. Rest assured, Styx has a kind heart, and she’ll stand by those she grows to love until the end of the world, but her companionship comes with a hefty price to pay.

Friends: The doors are wide open here. Styx loves danger, uncertainty, and pretty much anything with a thrill to it, and it’s for those reasons alone that I’m looking to get her onto the anti-Teren ship. She wouldn’t necessarily do it because she despises Teren, or because she thinks he’s wrong, but rather because it would be interesting to see what became of defying him. She’s small, but she packs plenty of fire. Outside of this, I’m open to ideas.

Enemies: Mmmm. I’d like to see her make an enemy as a result of her mental instability. She will sometimes have hallucinatory episodes about her mother and father; but mostly about her mother since I don’t want her to be triggered too early into her development about the chances of her father still being alive. That will come later. I’d love to see someone end up being afraid of her, whether because they witnessed the worst of one of her episodes, or because they think she’s a ‘wee bit scary in general. She’ll have a strange thought process, and won’t be above weirding a handful of wolves out.

Love Interests: AWE PLEASE HAVE A CRUSH ON STYX. I won’t make any promises here. I’d love to eventually see her return someone’s feelings, and settle down with a nice young man that understands she has a lot to deal with. Whoever fills this role will have to have an unlimited amount of patience with her. I have an idea for a plot: Someone would take an interest in her and act upon it, and slowly but surely she’d start to warm up to them in return. However, just as the relationship was on the verge of getting serious, she would have an episode and essentially forget her feelings. She wouldn’t forget the wolf as an individual, and she wouldn’t forget how close she felt to him, but she would neglect to associate that closeness with romance. This would invite him into her mind a little bit because he’d have to work around it and do some diggin’ to find out what’s going on. Basically, it would be back to square one for these two, and he’d have to start all over again in the process of winning her heart. This would stop happening once she accepts that something is wrong, but that will take a loooong time for Styx—because that means accepting her father is still alive and that she killed her own mother.

Irrationality & Mei
I'm thinking... Friends. Ye ye, I knoooow Irratio lubs him some Teren, but mei-be if she pulls it off, she could end up trying and getting to know Irratio as like a puzzle. And then maybe as she gets close, something happens and makes him (like say maybe a certain wolf doesn't like him being all buddy-buddy with a Helidos wolf) and then Mei decides even though they have to fight from then on out, like say... during a spar, she continues her friendship by asking him how he was doing, etc. o3o/ <3

Or maybe, they could just be like laid back acquaintances. o3o/ Like "I see chu, you see mei, lets all not kill each other o3o/"

Irrationality & Mei:

Irrationality is essentially a product of Teren's thoughts and opinions, so as to serve him to the best of his ability, but he doesn't think lowly of the other packs by any means. He'd go to war with any of them at the flick of Teren's tail but with no hard feelings whatsoever. Because of this, it'll be fairly easy for him to warm up to Mei as if she was a member of his own pack--as it would be with any wolf from a different pack. I don't think he would ever fully consider her a friend. He doesn't quite grasp the concept of friendship, and if he did, he would be a bit of a backstabber due to how easy he'd be able to turn on them if Teren deemed it necessary. However, he will more than likely consider her an acquaintance and form an easygoing relationship with her that, through her eyes, could seem close to friendship. Irrationality is pretty chill and laid-back whenever Teren isn't around to control him like the puppet he is, so he could definitely grow comfortable around her to a certain degree. c:

On the other note you brought up about someone finding out and not being happy about him associating with a Helidos wolf, only Teren would be able to outright tell him to stop being her "friend". He would never get to the point with her that he would be hesitant to fight her for his own pack, and because of that, he wouldn't see it like he was doing anything wrong. Honestly, I imagine Teren would want him to keep up the pretenses of their friendship in the hopes she'd trust him enough to divulge information about Helidos. -shrug- He would never manipulate her like that unless Teren asked him to, so until his alpha finds out about the two of them, if he ever does, he'll actually be a decent friend to have I promise. xD

BUT YEAH if for whatever reason Teren was like "nope, can't be friends, quit it right now" she would banish from his mind permanently. He would be really confused why she was asking how he was doing while the two of them were fighting if it ever came to that. Sorry about the length. c; I'm a rambler.
