The muscles in the hunter's back loosened as she allowed her posture to fall lax. Despite her tendency to stand straight, there were still moments when she desired to a more relaxed posture. Sighing with a satisfied hum, she indulged herself as she padded over to the stream, to take a small dip. A small cleanse would do no harm and the stream was at the right height and temper to provide a quick bath. As she approached the bank of the stream, she bent down and took a sip of water, quenching the thirst in her mouth. The water was cool and refreshing, bringing a calming quality over her. The temperature was just right for her little soak, taking away the plausibility of getting sick. Smiling to herself, she slowly and gently dipped a paw into the water, taking time to get used to the sudden drop in temperature. One by one, her paws entered the water until her entire body was submerged up to her stomach. Exhaling yet again with a fulfilled sigh, she allowed herself to sink into the water as she bent her legs. Feeling the water smooth itself through her fur was incredibly soothing and she turned to clean herself. She allowed herself to be gently rocked by the stream as she nosed through her fur, not particularly caring about getting her muzzle wet. This was the sensation she wished to relish in, knowing that sometimes opportunities like these didn't come by often.
As she finished her little cleanse, the fae allowed her head to rest, floating on the surface of the water. Closing her eyes, she fell into a drowse, although she made sure not to let the current take her away. She wished she could stay like this forever. But knowing that she couldn't afford to slack off, her rest was cut short as she made to exit the stream. Easily swimming across, she planted her front paws on the bank and pulled herself out. Giving a shake, she released most of the water from her fur. She didn't mind being soaking wet, as her fur often puffed up after it dried, allowing her to feel fluffy. As of now, her fur was now sleek and shiny; hopefully not too much dirt would stick to her. Giving a last shake, she retreated into her mind, sifting through her thoughts and trying to find a task to do. 'Today was lenient...and it felt good.' Grinning, she looked down at her paws, absent-mindedly wishing that every day was as carefree.
