Appearance:
Teeku is about average in size for a grey wolf. Weighing in around 80 pounds and measuring about 70 cm at the shoulder blades. Teeku is rather lanky in appearance. His legs long and his chest though deep is narrow. Depending upon the time of year Teeku's haunches are often visible due to the lack of prey. Though built thin Teeku isn't unmuscular. He has well defined muscles that can be found along his powerful limbs and dangerous jaws, hidden by his black pelt. The base of Teeku's fur is black but it is broken up by a splattering of greyish colored guard hairs that run down his head and over his entire body. His face however is a darker black on his maw, around his eyes and his large pointed ears. His limbs are also darker than the rest of his body with fewer of the greyish guard hairs. Teeku has an average length tail which is covered in black fur that has a more bristle like feel to it than the rest of his pelt. Teeku's face is long and narrow lacking the broadness in the head a lot of larger more mature male wolves have. Lastly, Teeku has a pair of deep amber colored eyes.

History:
Teeku was born into a small pack on a distant mountain. He was one of four pups in the litter. Three males and a single female. Out of the males of the litter Teeku was the smallest and was often shoved aside, and forgotten. But he managed to hang on to life, and proved to his mother and father he was a fighter. Once old enough to leave the den Teeku spent his days like most pups play fighting with his siblings. Not terribly dominant but not terribly submissive either Teeku learned to hold his own amongst his pack. But as the seasons changed and Teeku grew older so did the challenges his little pack faced. Relying heavily on the migration of a heard of elk Teeku's pack nearly starved their first winter. His sister passing away due to little food. Teeku may of followed suite if his father hadn't decided to relocate the pack. A risk considering Teeku and his remaining siblings weren't fully mature.

After a journeying away from their mountainous home Teeku's father and mother managed to lay claim to a small expanse of territory a few hundred miles from the mountain they'd once called home. Here the pack recovered from the harsh winter and the pups along with Teeku were taught how to hunt and fight. As Teeku aged it became apparent to the pack he was reckless and naïve.  During his first hunt Teeku was kicked by an elk and bruised his ribs. His first swim he wandered too deep into the water and nearly drowned. Needless to say the fact he survived it to maturity was dumb luck. At the age of two Teeku was too reckless and unpredictable for his father's liking. He was asked to leave the pack or be exiled by force. Teeku opted to leave eager to explore without the restrictions of his pack. Teeku set out into the world on his own.

For five months Teeku managed to survive as a lone wolf. Quickly realizing he'd have to smarten up if he wished to live to the age of three. Now wiser than he once was Teeku is ready to settle back down into a pack life. Or so he thinks....

Something lurked within the woods, something unatural, intreging. A scent that Teeku had never smelled before. It was powerful so powerful it overwhelmed his senses and was the only thing he could smell. It was like wood but far stronger and if Teek opened his maw he coughed on the air which seemed thick with this scent. But what was it? Teeku had to find out. So on light paws the young male wove amongst the pine trees at a gentle lope. His lungs struggling to pull in air through the mysterious stench. Darkness was starting to fall through the forest but unlike most summer nights Teeku could not hear the chirping of crickets or the last song of a sparrow. No the forest was earily quiet, so quiet in fact it made Teeku's hackles raise. Something was wrong... terribly wrong but what? Teeku knew it must be connected to the stench in the air. The stench of bad wood? But Teeku had smelled a rotting tree before and this was different. Loping into a run Teeku's amber eyes widen as he rounds a bend, before him what looked like a living orange creature was lapping at the tree branches. Consuming the tree more rapidly than any beast Teeku had ever seen. Yelping as heat sears his nose Teeku turns tail tucked and bolts away. Smoke and wind whipping his face making him pant, his amber eyes watering his nose streaming. What was happening!?
