| Name: BleddynGender: Male Age: 4 years oldBreed: Canis lupus albus (Tundra Wolf)Height: 82 cmPack: Helidos
Rank Requested: Omega
Appearance: Bleddyn's fur is mostly off-white, like snow mixed with a small amount of dirt. There are spots on his back, sides, and chest that are dark brown, like fresh mulch. The tip of his tail is light brown like sand. His eyes are a deep blue, not unlike the ocean. The tip of his left ear is missing, the result of a fight with a lone wolf. Another wolf caused much of his face to be covered in long scars, starting from the top of his head and down to his muzzle. There are two shorter ones over his eyes. His paws are large and adorned with sharp, black claws. Bleddyn has a slight overbite.
Personality: Bleddyn is untrusting of others, but time may see him able to overcome that. He is incredibly--or foolishly--brave, fear is not a word he knows. It is this bravery that resulted in a scarred face. Despite his trust issues, Bleddyn is extremely loyal and would give his life for those he deemed deserving of it. He is also very curious and often this curiosity gets him into trouble. Bleddyn also has a tendency to hold grudges against those that have wronged him or harmed others. He can be stubborn at times and ignore orders; this could be due to being a lone wolf for most of his life. For the most part, Bleddyn is a quiet wolf. He speaks when required to do so or if he feels the need..

History: Bleddyn was born mid spring, the eldest in a litter of two. The first few months of life were easier than expected; Bleddyn's mother would shadow a pack and advance off their kills. She was able to produce enough milk for both pups, but Bleddyn insisted on feeding every other day to ensure his sister got as much possible, given she was a runt. By the time winter came, however, the pups' mother had a more difficult time getting food. As the seasons changed, hunting became easier, for two years, Bleddyn's mother was able to care for her pups. One morning, she left to hunt... and never returned. Bleddyn and his sister were worried that evening, but they were certain she would be back by morning. Morning came, but it did not see the return of the siblings' mother. A strange feeling washed over Bleddyn, one that urged him out from the safety of the den and into a dangerous world. Bleddyn and his sister wandered aimlessly, playing and exploring, until they became hungry. It was at this moment they realized their mother was gone forever, confirmed when they found a dead she-wolf a few days later that smelled of their mother. That winter was long and lonely for Bleddyn and his sister.
Fate can be cruel, and it was considerably so to Bleddyn. A month after the loss of his mother, he lost his sister as well. A bear was to blame for it. The cub and young wolves' paths one day while the latter were searching for food. They found the cub splashing about in a river and were quite curious; they tried to play with it. But the cub knew better than to approach wolves and tried to leave. Bleddyn got the message, but his sister thought the cub wanted to play, so she stayed as Bleddyn moved away. He heard a yelp and a much louder roar that what the cub was capable of. The cub's mother had not been far away and appeared to protect her offspring. One swipe was all it took to mortally wounded Bleddyn's sister; all he could do was keep his distance until the bears left. His sister was already gone by the time he was able to go to her. He stayed by her side for two days, before hunger forced him to leave.
Two years more pass. Bleddyn has survived the harsh life of a lone a wolf. It's spring now, prey is easier to find, and run-ins with other predators are more frequent. In fact, Bleddyn has run into another lone wolf, just a few weeks ago, and fought him over a scavenged meal. His left ear was wounded, but not so great enough to impair his hearing. A kinder, older wolf taught him a little about herbs as enough to try minor wounds. For months, Bleddyn tracked that same wolf across the wilderness. He found him near the end of spring and with no concern for what might happen, attacked. Bleddyn fought valiantly, but foolishly, paying little attention to the other wolf's movements. The fight ended with Bleddyn's face badly wounded; three long gashes went own the middle of his face, two shorter ones over his eyes. But the wolf didn't escape unscathed. Bleddyn managed to cover its shoulders in bites, put a few gashes in its side, and seriously injury its nose. In fact, the wolf ended up losing its sense of smell. For reasons unknown to himself after this battle, Bleddyn had a desire to be in a pack. So, a week later, he sought out the Helidos Pack.

How did you find Age? I did a search for wolf RPGs.
Example Post: The wind moved through the bare trees, causing them to sway and creak. The fresh snow glistened in the sunlight, coaxing slumbering offspring from their dens to romp in it. Birds sang, carrying messages from one end of the forest to the other, while at the same time rousing it from sleep. As the sun warmed the snow, cold, clear water trickled down between the rocks of the waterfall and dripped from the ends of icicles. Bears rolled onto their backs and begged for another hour of sleep, rabbits were already digging for grass hidden under the snow. Foxes were the first to start hunting, and somewhere a fawn wondered what snow was. In a small den that was just decent enough to satisfy a lone wolf, Bleddyn lay sleeping still. The sun made certain he would sleep no longer this morning, however. It heated the snow above his den, melting it; the water slipped through the rocks and the crack in the earth beneath them to land squarely on the canine's nose. Several more drops finally woke the wolf from his slumber. Slowly, his blue eyes opened and his ears flicked to attention. His nose twitched and his tongue came out form the warm, dry cave to taste the cold water dropping onto its neighbor. A yawn followed, a long yawned that was joined by an equally long stretching of limbs. Bleddyn lifted his rump to the air and touched the ground with his nose before standing straight up to stretch his hind legs. And then he shook out his coat. Dust and dirt were flung from his thick, coarse fur. Bleddyn then walked on of his den, his eyes closing for a brief moment against the sudden and very bright light. Once they adjusted, he looked around and sniffed the air before walking off to the river for a drink. For a long minute he lapped up the cold water and even considered a swim... but decided against it. He then went off in search of a decent meal.

| Hi Bleddyn, and welcome to Age Of The Wolves! There are just a few things that need to be addressed before you can be accepted:
- You need an avatar with the maximum dimentions of 150 X 400 pixels (if you need help with this, feel free to ask a staff member)
- In your history, you mention that Bleddyn was born in Erenyx. This is not allowed on Age for new joining members.
- You mention that Bleddyn founght a bear and got wounds to the face. A blow of a full grown bear's paw to the head would almost undoubtedly kill him. It is very very rare for a wolf to fight a bear alone and escape alive.
- Pups cannot survive on their own at a young age (mostly two years of age). It seems that (according to your history) Bleddyn's mother died shortly after he and his sister could eat meat. This is much too young and they would likely die from starvation.
After you have changed these things, please reply to let us know, and a staff member will review the application. Thanks again for joining Age! |

| Welcome to Age, Bleddyn! Not all of Breeze's instructions have been fixed and I have a few as well.
You still need an avatar. This needs to be 150 pixels wide, and anywhere to 400 hundred pixels in length (as long as we can see it perfectly fine). Us staff can also help you make an avatar if you are having trouble.
Your history's timeline is off. If it all were to happen in the way you wrote down—Bleddyn's mother feeding them for two years (2), dying during their third winter, sister dying a month later (mention of them being pups is no longer accurate) and then flash-forward two years later (2)—Bleddyn would be about four now instead of two. Please either adjust the timeline, or Bleddyn's age.
Wolves give birth generally in late April, maybe into the month of May as well. Birthing a pup in the late summer therefore, is almost virtually impossible. And as we are a semi-realistic site, we like to keep this site as realistic as we can, please fix this.
Once all these are fixed please post again alerting us of your changes and a staff member will review your application once more. Thank you! |
