Apprentices being offered are required to post. For those that have not perhaps finished their applications, we will simply 'add' your character in so that everything goes along swimmingly.

To set the scene, Juno & Braelyn's young [the selected few] are told to go to Isle De Muetro as a 'little game'. Fel & her 'men' will be there shortly for their promised arrangement and then cover their tracks once they are through. Friendly reminder that the pups are oblivious to this plan, *as well as their siblings AND wolves back at camp for those that are paying attention.

Leader: Beta Fel
Assistants: Elite Desoto, Delta Altair, Warrior Striker
Pups: Apprentice(s) Memphis, Xymesina, Ragnaar, Petra.

Posting order will be determined after Beta Fel has posted.

Fel led her merry band of devils into the thickening forest around the Isle. She knew about where the pups would be. Her tail was up in the air like a banner of war, occasionally flicking the tip in silent commands to alter direction. In her maw, there was a compilation of puma fur tufts. Her own coat, like that of the others, was smeared in thick slabs on mud and grass, hiding her true color. They looked like sentinels of Mother Nature, which was partly fitting because of their purpose. They were, after all, saving the youth. Fel halted the group as they were getting near their destination, knowing that her last opportunity to speak to them would come now.

After setting the fur down for a moment and turning around, the beta addressed her brutes. “I will remind you all what we are doing. These pups, by the will of their mothers, the compassion of your alpha, and the wit of your beta, are to be removed from the environment of Erenyx. All of you should know by now what treachery and danger lies there, and if you do not, you may ask Striker later. Our plan is the following: we will approach the designated area on my command – silently. Our scents are, albeit disgustingly, masked and they should have no hint that we are coming. Watch where you put your paws. The pups should be near the tree line at the foothills. When I confirm a visual of them, I will give the signal to surround them. Striker, being the youngest and freshest of our little team, will run around to the rear and block their escape in that direction. Altair, you secure the west, Desoto, the east. There will be one pup, a six month old, for each of us. We don’t have much time for verbal persuasion, so the use of calculated force will likely be necessary. We will offer them the opportunity to come quietly, though.” She paused, glaring at each of them for the emphasis, “I have strict orders from the alpha that no pup shall be harmed. Restrain them, but do not hurt them. If you do, I give you my word that for every drop of blood that is spilt, I will take a pound out of your flesh… As for what comes after, we will carry the pups out of the territory so as to not leave any scent trails of theirs. I will spill a little blood, unless someone wants to volunteer, and scatter my puma fur to create the scene. Questions? No? Good.” She snorted out the final three words rapidly, picked up the fur, and turned back to marching in a manner that dismissed any retaliation or approval. It was her way or the trail home.

Eventually, she reached the area. On the air, there was a light hint of approaching wolves. Soon, the pitter-patter of small paws on gravel could be heard. Fel flicked her tail downward, ordering the rest to get into position and remain low and out of sight. They were still amongst the thick brush, the lot of them blending in with the dark shadows of the bordering forest.

PostSubject: Re: Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Icon_minitimeMarch 27th 2016, 23:13

i'll see you in the future when we're older
and we are full of stories to be told, cross my heart and i hope to die, i'll see you then with that fragile smile and those beautiful eyes.

Orders were given, and so he would stubbornly chose to obey them when told. He followed suit behind the Beta female, an individual he had found himself to be quite supporting of, as well two other respected brutes, the Elite and Delta. They now served as a single unit that was held responsible for only one task, and that only. To grab the pups and retreat. The plan was simple, and he trusted the she-wolf enough to execute it gracefully, with the rest of them in tow as they would carry the weight across Agavos boundaries. Paying full attention to the given atmosphere, he was assured by the well-knit chosen wolves for the deed, and thus compiled his thoughts into a quiet, orderly fashion to overrun what needed to be done. Striker did not allow himself to sugar coat the details that may lead to the others that were not offered to his pack, but he was damn sure he would not allow such pain to go against the one's coming with. The images of his brothers being sacrificed made his stomach churn with disgust, the inside of his mouth tasting like salt as he'd try to gain a calm demeanor.

The young lad acquired some time to gather himself before they were brought to halt as the female would turn to them, only to then instruct them further into detail. He didn't so much as dare allow himself to gaze at the others as his name was mentioned, and instead gave Fel a tight, affirmative nod before falling into place with the procedure. There was no need to speak, all that mattered was cooperation and obedience - precision on top of it all. Stalking around towards a calculated guess as to where the group would enter, Striker formed closely to the ground only a few paces away, his earthy disguise sure to hide him in the delicate shrubs and forestry provided despite the rocky Isle. It was enough to hide and mask their scents, though he could only guess to say the apprentices knew little about tracking just yet. The warrior refused to put any bets on the matter, he knew much for such a young age, and it was a shame to see he matured so fast on his own. The things he'd seen were too much for him, and thus there was no room in his youth for a proper, joyful childhood. However, in a land such as Erenyx, there was no use for play - only power. With dark blue eyes, he observed the surroundings and smelt the ground for any traces of life nearing them, his claws digging into the dirt to keep him well grounded. As soon as the target would enter, he'd cut them off and allow the others to corner them while he'd move in further. Striker would hold his snickering to a minimum until then.

The plan, however simple it may seem, was a risky one. Getting caught was one, a pup running off was another (though they would find it in the end) was another. The longer it took to do this, the more sever the risk of getting seen was. It was only natural to feel a little bit of doubt. He wasn't scared, no, he was actually excited to be doing something interesting. Plus, there was slight hope that Braelyn was getting some of their, and Teren's, children out of there as well. It would seem like the perfect opportunity that the Delta female of Erenyx would take. If she truly meant what she had said to him, he couldn't see why she wouldn't. And he had offered to take them in if so needed. However, with Fel being so quick to supply the three brutes with orders, leaving no room for questions, the Elite didn't have any room to as the question he so desired. She'd gone through the explanation of why they were attempting to do such an action, and had pointed out the youngest of the group. Erenyx was a pit of demons, and to have children of his own being raised in that environment, was the farthest thing from comfort. He so badly wanted to ask if Braelyn had taken part in this, but he knew it would be too obvious. A sudden care for a specific female was a big warning, especially if they aren't in his pack. So he kept quiet, putting faith into his instincts to help him know if those with his blood were there.

He travelled near the back, the mud covering his pelt making him feel all dried out. It did hide the group's scent pretty well as they made their ascent up the mountain of Isle de Muerto; the place he had first met his love. Swallowing, he gazed around. Scanning the area for any signs of pup tracks or sounds. And it wasn't until Fel had stopped them, signaling to duck did he hear the pawsteps of a group of young approaching. Crouching he took upon a prediratory stance, his tail straight out and ears back. His golden eyes were trained on the little wolves that came into view. He took in each appearance, each movement they made. And somehow he just knew. Two of them, were his own. Or a thirdly so. That part didn't matter. Braelyn had sent at least two of their young here. The eyes the pelt, he could tell that with one of the female pups. Definitely the daughter of the vixen who claimed his heart, and almost as instantly this own had him wrapped around her paw. The other was one of the males. Darker coated, a black pelt with hints of lighter brown, with green eyes. He wasn't sure how, but he knew that the eyes were Teren's own shade. Though still he felt the fatherly pull. He swallowed again, keeping his eyes on the green-eyed maiden. He'd grab her with gentle swiftness to make a quick embrace of darkness before he carried he home. His shoulders rolled back to relieve some of the tension, his eyes flicking for a moment to Fel as he awaited her signal to strike.

Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Icon_minitimeMay 2nd 2016, 20:40

The diminutive pup padded carefully through the quaking spring ferns, her sub par excuse for a hunter's crouch a staple of might and power in her imaginative mind. She liked to think she resembled her father, if she tried hard enough, if she carried herself correctly and kept quiet. She liked to wonder how that felt, to stalk something, someone, unseen and undetected, to consistently, for as long as her pretend hunt lasted, be the individual in control. It was such an enticing notion, she almost wished a rabbit would creep in front of her path. How comely would such a creature look torn open? What would the fear look like, feel like then? Warm blooded prey was probably more complex than the moth, or perhaps, simply easier to read. She craved that challenge, longed for a moment where she could cause a tangible trepidation, sense the racing pulse of blood against shaking flesh and watch the eyes of her little project fill with that archaic demand. Father would be proud of her then, wouldn't he? And mother too?

She really wasn't certain what the object of this game she had sent her and the other pups off to play was. She had merely told them it must be performed in the mountain passe of Isle de Muerto, and upon hearing that, her attention had become somewhat clouded by the ecstatic prospect of leaving the sometimes too secure territory of the pack. She was eager to learn, to observe, to make new discoveries and conclusions about this place she had only known in stories and dreams. She hungered for challenges, and, even more than that, she relished in the opportunity to watch and drift around the other pups. Sometimes, isolation was a contented blessing, until she pondered how unwanted she seemed, and suddenly her solitude sank into the abysmal state of terror and loneliness.

She was delighted Memphis was included in their game; she had long wished her brothers would play together with her more, that she'd have the opportunity to show them she was just as capable, just as worthy. She was merely somewhat dejected mother had not sent Thaddeus and Ambrose out as well; the outing felt notably incomplete without them. Instead Ragnaar and Xymesina were accompanying them, and the minuscule pup wasn't entirely certain what to make of the pair. Apparently her father was also theirs, but Braelyn was their mother, and she didn't completely understand why or how that worked. Still, the enigma was a tantalizing opportunity to investigate. How easy would those two be, I wonder, to scare?

She halted by the edge of the treeline, sitting attentively beneath the shade of an arching fern as she waited with astute veneration for her companions to catch up to her. She wondered if Memphis had a mind to cause the other two juveniles grief; he seemed to rather enjoy disrupting order when he could, from what she observed. She lifted her snout somewhat to smell the Earth laden air, she expelled a short sneeze before pawing gingerly at her nose, her pale yellow gaze wide and sanguine. So this is how the mountains smell... It's like dirt. Interesting.

PostSubject: Re: Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Caught in the Crossfire [Pup Plot/Private] Icon_minitimeMay 10th 2016, 10:03

Obedient to his mother, he followed her orders and the other wolves. It was strange to him that so many wolves were going on this trek together. Where were they going? He was unsure of it all, but he posed not a question. His eyes lingered over the forms which walked before him. They moved so effortlessly, and he followed without a word. He had so many questions. Was he going to see some special place that he hadn't before? As they crossed the border of Erenyx lands, he paused. He knew the laws and the rules. He was never to leave the protection of Erenyx, for his father would be very angry if anything had happened to him. Or so he thought. Teren had his way over the lands, and made sure that every single pup knew the law. But the others continued over the border, so he should as well. He took a deep breath and allowed a single paw to cross. He turned his head around and looked to Erenyx before his body fully crossed the path. Was he ever going to be home again?

The wolves gathered in a strange area filled with all kinds of smells. His eyes lingered over all the lands, and yet, he still had no idea where they were. But how could he? Thoughts of his family filled his head and he felt a weird feeling deep in his stomach, like it was uneasy. He took a deep breath and ventured forth. He moved to stand beside the other pup his father had sired. "Where are we?" he asked as he looked over to Petra. "What do we do now?"

((Although so few people posted, this plot still went through. The pups came quietly, no one got hurt except for Fel giving herself a minor cut that healed within a few days. Cover-up was deployed. Pups are now the property of Agavos. Congratulations. ))
