| Interesting. The first thing that slapped Liberty when she looked up to snow-coated trees and dazzling snowflakes gliding down from their former home, a cloud. She has traveled through many places but she never seen such a land. The mixture colored wolf inhaled the scents of millions of wolves that traveled through the beautiful lands. Wow. Liberty shook her fur then continued to walk deeper into the forest. Her ears waving like satellites, trying to make out any noise besides of the loud crunch of the snow. I guess I should start practicing… start practicing… practicing…? That foul thought got the attention of her complex mind so she sat down in the cold snow, making a loud crunch noise vibrate through the forest. Liberty shifted several times, trying to stop the powerful bite of the snow numb her body. She has never been in a pack before and practicing wouldn’t help, at least that’s what she thought. ”How crazy am I?” Liberty opened her maw to allow a soft chuckle to come out. She did sometimes find her thoughts ridiculous, even she can get distracted over small little things. Liberty shook her head slightly then stood up to continue her walk to a new world. She might get a family today, and that one thought only stayed in her mind until she arrived to the strongest scent point. Perfect. Liberty lifted her head and allowed a beautiful howl to erupt from her throat. |

| As snow started to fall Marrok found himself again out looking for food to feed his pack and family. Game had become scarce and each day there seemed to be less and less food for the wolves of Helidos. Hunger ripped at his gut, but still he pushed on, looking for a rabbit or deer for Juno and his growing pups. His beautiful family drove him to keep going, his beautiful mate Juno with her quick wit and charm. His darling daughter Ryland with her sweet voice and desire to learn. His sons Apollo and Griffen with their drive to be just like him, these were the things that cept him going.
A noise broke him from his trance and made him perk his ears. A fae was howling, a new fae. Intrigued by this Marrok picked up the pace, following the echo into the trees. Branches nipped at his coat until her reached the border and saw a grey fae standing there. Trotting closer to her his tail curled over his back to show his rank and expected her to submit to him as was proper. "Hello there miss I am Beta Marrok of the Helidos pack. Who are you and why have you come to sing on my border?" He questioned, eying her up and down to size her up. |

| Liberty moved often, trying to find an area that wouldn’t eat her paw pads alive. They were already worn down from all of the traveling she does. Hopefully, this pack will accept her. …so much snow… can’t even stay in one spot without getting attacked by frostbite… She was obviously flooded with her thoughts and didn’t see the wolf coming. Liberty flinched slightly to the wolf’s voice and turned around to face the wolf, stranger she would call him for now. When she turned around, her face held nothing but pure aggressive behavior. Beta Marrok… Beta… Liberty fell into a submissive bow, not daring to move because of the disrespect she just showed this superior. ”I-I am sorry, Beta Marrok.” Liberty stayed in the bowing position, still scared to move. ”I am Liberty and I have entered your lands to seek acceptance into your pack. I am sorry for showing the large amount of…. Disrespect...” Liberty gave a soft sigh then looked up at the Beta. "I was distracted for a moment and your voice startled me. I will accept any punishment given for my rude behavior. I apologize Beta Marrok, for my disrespectful behavior." No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't stop wondering what will the Beta do to her. |

| As the she wolf stared aggressively at him Marrok's lips flew back in a snarl. His hackles raised making him look twice as big and his throat let out a deep growl. "Show me respect fae unless you want me to chase you out with only one ear." He roared, already sour from her display. Seeing the error of her ways as she dropped into a more suitable position he lightened up some, but still glared at her, "That's better."
Walking over to her he growled down at her and snapped a hair length away from her nose, "Your quick thinking about your display saved you a nasty bite. It would be wise to rein in your ability to be startled, or next time I won't be as forgiving." He warned as he backed off of her and settled down further. Knowing his point had been made he lowered his hackles and stared a bit softer at the loner. "Despite your lovely display towards me it's obvious you know something about respect, what else can your offer my pack? We have many mouths to feed and require talent and commitment to live with us, state your talents Liberty" he asked, his voice growing softer and less formidable. |

| ”Yes sir.” Liberty’s ears pressed tightly against her skull. One error won’t make up for how bad she just ticked off this wolf. ”I’ve been a loner all of my life but have picked up a few skills from my father and instinctive behaviors. My father said that he was the Elite of his last pack and taught me some unique fighting skills. I don’t only excel in fighting, I also have learned to hunt my own food in the past months.” The mixture colored wolf looked up at the Beta, guessing that his nerves were already bad when he arrived. She didn’t find comfort from a wolf snapping at her muzzle, but it was better than her past experiences. The thought of that made the tip of her tail twitch slightly. Liberty looked down at the snow, not even daring to try this wolf’s patience. Liberty opened her maw, revealing several fangs, then closed it mindlessly. No more words… She gave a soft pant then looked up to see the Beta towering over her. … |

| Her words fell upon him as did her submission and Marrok backed off so that she might relax. He didn't live in the moment, so he wouldn't scare her further when she was respecting him now, but try his patience again and she wouldn't be so lucky. Looking down at her he thought about her words and saw the opportunity to be a good warrior for the pack. Being on her own wouldn't have been easy, but she looked fit and well fed, a tribute to her abilities. Such a wolf would blossom in the pack and he felt that with some fine tuning her pack ritual knowledge would too flourish.
"Words of loyalty to the pack aren't enough for me. If you want so badly to enter my pack swear your life to the pack, to it's Alpha's and to me. You sound like you'd make a good warrior but I need to know how badly you want this, how much drive you have to be a part of my family. Tell me Liberty." He said, his voice softer and more encouraging as he relaxed further. |

| Liberty’s ears twitched slightly, nodding her head slowly to Beta Marrok’s words. She gave a soft in-mind sigh then started her oath. ”I swear on my own life that I will stay true to this pack. I will never abandon this pack for something better and will never hurt anyone or anything in this pack. My own life, every breath I take, every heart beat I produce, I will die in the flames of war for this pack. You have my word.” Liberty found that quite pleasing to the ears, the best thing she have ever said in her life. Such a pleasant thought. She shouldn’t betray this pack anyways, unless she wanted to die a miserable death. She would’ve chuckled but it wasn’t such a good time. Liberty didn’t feel the cold snow anymore, she even forgot she was there. She didn’t focus on the snowflakes floating onto her fur, the perfect landing spot. She just focused on the millions of possibilities that could be in store for her, and this pack. |

| Marrok smiled for the first time at Liberty as she swore herself. Never before had he heard such a pledge that he believed so much, she was really something. "Rise Warrior Liberty, I believe your oath and will hold it to you. You shall be a warrior of Helidos to hunt and defend the pack with your life. Under the rule of ALpha Azul and Alphess Lucy you shall commit yourself and belong to our family. I must be off, but if you follow my scent trail you will find the pack clearing. Go now and explore your new home Liberty." He said as he rose to a standing position. He still had hunting to do and couldn't afford to back track to escort his new member back. He was confident she could find her own way.
As he turned to leave he motioned in the direction of the pack and grinned. "Follow my train Warrior Liberty and find your new home." He called before running off, leaving the new member alone in the snow.
