| Nyx gazed upon the land she had heard about. Being the only one who survived her litter, hearing she had and older sister was like a miracle. Traveling around from pack to pack, she hadn't been able to find her. Maybe, just maybe this was the one her older sister had settled into calling home. Standing on the hill gave her a view of glorious lands. If this was where her sister decided to stay, then Nyx was impressed. The fae's eyes flicked over everything that surrounded her. Catching the scent of what must be the border for the pack, Nyx stood up and shook out her snow white fur. Stretching, the fae took off like a bullet. It didn't take long for her constant energy supply to work its way into her system, making her as hyper as always.
Nyx's eyes focused on nothing but where she was running to. Her left eyes was a sapphire blue, while the other was a bright amber. It was a strange mix, but she had gotten it from both of her parents. Nyx's father had blue eyes, while her mother had a smoldering amber. The fae's mind flicked to what her sister would look like. Surely she wouldn't look like Nyx, for their mothers were different. Taking a deep breath, Nyx cleared her mind. The rhythmic sound of her small paws beating the ground relaxing her as she went into a full sprint. If it weren't for her running, Nyx would probably be everywhere at once. The fae seemed to never stop moving, even when she was trying to be calm. A small flick of her tail, or something to keep er from going insane with sitting and behaving all of the time. From the beginning, Nyx had a thing for stirring up trouble, and now was no exception.
Coming up to the border, Nyx sat. Without wasting any time, her muzzle was in the air and letting out a howl. It lasted for about a minute before she lowered her head. Swaying slightly, Nyx felt the need to keep herself moving. A hyper rush always came after running of fighting, but she didn't want to scare off any wolf that came by her because of her nervous twitching. Instead, she sat there swaying slightly, since it was enough to calm her for now. The fae's different colored eyes peered across the border looking for any indication that someone was coming. |

| A deep grumbled erupted from the serpent's throat out of disdain for the current weather. Winter was not entirely disagreeable but the moisture fro melting the snow, staying in one place for too long, annoyed her to the bone. Not to mention she still had to dig a proper den and the frozen soil was hard to penetrate with feeble paws. Emerald eyes a lit with fury and dominance, dominance not rightly bestowed upon her, scanned the endless border for a shimmer of life. Chickadees were the only sign of life for the wolf, disappearing as soon as she spotted them, retreating to the safety of the dormant trees. The silence did not ease any tension either. Esmeralda was a wolf of chaos and though silence was momentarily satisfying, eventually it drove her utterly insane. Suddenly, a desperate call vibrated through the trees, as if the branches were carrying the sound on a silver platter until it arrived to her ears. The call was short yet long enough for Esmeralda to accurately detect the location and without another second of thought she sprinted in the intruder's direction.
Snow splattered like a destroyed leaf pile as the ashen fae skid to a stop, the emerald slits quickly taking in every feature of the loner. She was small but that was only a downside of her age. The loner couldn't have been much older than a yearling, her swaying showing her uncontainable youthful energy. "Who are you?" There was no greeting for Esmeralda felt it wasn't necessary. One sapphire, one amber,, the fae had intriguing eyes, eyes which Esmeralda had never come across in her days. |

| Nyx heard the other wolf before anything else. Excitement bubbled up in her young heart, causing the fae to jump up on all fours. Her tail swayed in a slight wag, anything to keep her moving. Turning her different colored eyes on the the fae that now stood before her. The other female didn't seem to have Nyx's energy, but that was because Nyx was only one and a half years old. She had been told that her sister was exactly a year older, birth dates and everything. Focusing her eyes solely on the other fae, Nyx tilted her head. Could this fae be her sister? Nyx didn't think so because they hardly looked alike, but with having different mothers you never would know.
When the other fae asked her who she was, Nyx's ivory ears flicked forwards. The young fae's whole pelt was a pale ivory, making her glow in the sunlight. "I'm Nyx. I am in search of a home and for my sister. Her name is Ember, that is what I was told. Do you know of her?" Nyx never stalled, she just got straight to the point. She was considered to be very rude, for she never lied just to make another feel better. No, Nyx spoke her mind on all occasions. Looking at every feature of the other fae, Nyx noticed that she was quite small that the female in front of her. The young fae still had some growing to do, for she was still partially a pup. Tilting her head the other way, Nyx waited for the other female to speak. Her blue and amber eyes watched curiously, holding so much spirit and energy. |

| The young fae's bubbling excitement and joyful attitude rubbed Esmeralda the wrong way but amongst this pack of peaceful bunnies she would fit in perfect. The way the loner was eying her made the emerald eyes narrow even mow, what was this chick's deal? Eventually she spoke, taking too long in Esmeralda's opinion, and her words made the slits merely open with curiosity. What did this fae want with her Ember? She was supposed to believe such a proclamation? "Nyx, Goddess of Night. Doesn't suit you," the stranger would be quick to learn Esmeralda did not hold her tongue either, if someone wanted to know her opinion she would give it, even if they did not ask. Nearing the yearling, Esmeralda fiercely stared her down, seeing how she would handle the pressure. "You say you are Ember's sister? Had the fae spoke, Esmeralda did not grant her such permission, instead she continued to sharply speak, "To answer, yes I do know Ember. She is a illuminating fae of undeniable beauty, something you two share.' The compliment was grief and did not soften Esmeralda's features, she was simply comparing them. Esmeralda did not express this fae's supposed sister's darker side, a side Esmeralda had harnessed for her own now.

| When Nyx saw that this fae didn't like her whatsoever, the young fae completely changed. All of her energy dissipated to leave an emotionless, aggressive young fae. Her fluffy, ivory tail stopped its wag and her eyes showed nothing. A small, demon smirk played across her otherwise lovely face. The fae's attitude went from hyper to whip-like all in one instant. Smirking at the other fae, Nyx was in her assassin mode. In her past she had been the one to kill anyone her Alpha ordered, that same smirk on her face as she tore another limb from bloody limb. It didn't matter how young she was, that side always stuck to her. Nyx spoke, her voice heavy with sarcasm. "Yes, my name doesn't suit me at all."
Nyx watched the other fae stare her down, but all she returned was an emotionless glare. She had come to find her sister, and this fae was keeping her from the only family she had left. Her next words were as sharp as a blade. "Yes, her father is also mine." Nyx's emotionless glare never left. If one looked closely at her you could tell she had two different sides. Her right, amber eye symbolized the side of her that had been previously bubbly and hyper. The left, sapphire eyes showed the evil, livid side she also possessed. Both eyes were glaring like daggers at the other fae that was keeping her from her sister.
Nyx could read on this fae like an open book, it was a special skill she obtained. No matter how much one tried, they couldn't hide things from her. "I know you are keeping something about my sister from me. If it is about the dark side she possesses, I already know so save your snake-like voice for a time where it works on other worthless coyotes. There are many things my sister and I share, so I'd rather not waste my time if you are going to try to carry on a meaningless conversation." Her different colored eyes narrowed slightly as she waited for the other fae to reply. |

| [Careful, you're power-playing a little bit, no one can see everyone's mental thoughts and emotions - just a warning.]
Nyx's fearsome did not phase Esmeralda, instead she rolled her eyes to express what little impression she had on the serpent. The yearling was way out of her league here, in Esmeralda's opinion. "I don't stand corrected, you're name still does not fit you, you disrespectful whelp." She had a brief moment before of recruiting Ember's sister as well but that spark had diminished. Ember had true potential and her sister's actions did not affect Esmeralda's loyalty for Ember in the slightest. Brat, Her mind hissed, an intense glare burrowing on the female's ivory coat.
"I don't care what you know, whelp. She does a possess a dark side, one which is much greater than your own and worth more respect. If you don't wish to waste your time than scat, get off these borders now and be-rid me of your presence." Making Ember's sister leave did not set well with Esmeralda but if her sister was like this, it would not be a good influence. "My connection is worth Ember, not you." Esmeralda truthfully stated. She and Ember shared a loyalty, that loyalty did not include a sister, a sister Esmeralda was not entirely sure on yet; what did she have to compare them with other than looks anyway? Slightly she regretted wanting this female gone so badly, who was she to keep Ember from her family? Esmeralda cared not of Nyx's view but would Ember be furious with her if she saw this interaction? |

| (( Da da da da!!!! Ember comes into this lovely argument!!! Esme check your PM's.))
Ember had been running the border when a specific scent caught her nose. No, it couldn't be........ she thought. Taking off at lightning speeds, Ember stopped when she heard the sound of voices, and they weren't being friendly to each other at all. The scent was stronger now that she was closer. One voice was undeniably Esmeralda, her Alphess. The other was unfamiliar, but with a scent like that Ember instantly knew who it was. It seemed like Esmeralda hated the fae she was talking to based on her tone, and that made Ember nearly snarl with anger. Coming out from behind the brush, she stomped towards them to make her presence known.
She was obviously a yearling, but Ember knew she was so much more than that. As a loner, Ember was told that her father had only one other pup before his death, and the little fae Esme was talking to was her. Ember could tell by the scent, she smelled exactly like her father did the one time she met him. Running up in between them, Ember looked down on the little fae. A gasp left her when she saw her little sister's eyes. The left on was almost and exact copy of their father's. Ember's white eyes widened as she spoke. "You-you're Nyx, right?......... the last living piece of my family that I have left. You're my little sister."
Ember sat between the two, for she didn't want to hear them fight. Ember had just found her little sister. "Now, why on earth are you two fighting? I was hiding for the last few minutes of your argument. If you really are my little sister, then you have a dark side like mine but you are scared and haven't grown into it yet, since you are so young. Esme, why would you make false accusations when you don't even know her. Her behavior is exactly like mine when I was her age, and by her scent I can tell she is my sister." Every word Ember said was true. She had been scared of her dark side and didn't know how to control it. If Esme let her, Ember would teach her little sister her ways. Nyx was barely an adult yet, so with time she could be a great ally to Esme. Looking at Esme, Ember practically pleaded with her eyes to let her little sister stay. If Ember had to bow down, she would. Nyx was all Ember had left. |

| [Lol XD And did~]
Ember's presence was suspected, not because Esmeralda heard her approaching but because if any moment was dire for Nyx's survival, it would have been then. Ember's reaction was pleasing to Esmeralda as she stepped back to overview the situation. Yippee... she thought with a lack of enthusiasm, watching the sisters reunite. Deep down however she did feel some compassion for Ember, having found her sister and now having true kin but in the end Esmeralda was unable to completely understand the feeling for she had no living relatives. Genevieve was as close as it came for her, vise versa, and Esmeralda wondered if the love was the same.
"Esme, why would you make false accusations when you don't even know her?" Ember's voice brought Esmeralda back to reality and quickly she showed disdain for her subject's words. Though she had been called Esme in one of their past meetings, Esmeralda has assumed the nickname would cease. The ice queen obviously found the title unpleasant and had Esmeralda accepted the nickname, she would not allow it in front of the other pack members. The Alphess-to-be snarled with great intensity, never believing her impression of someone to be 'false accusations'. The public display of dominance was tough at first, not wanting to scare Ember's loyalty, but Esmeralda was not one to hide her disdain, even in front of loved ones.
Despite the outrage, Ember's pleading look, which followed her disagreeable words, made the serpent recoil and constrict, holding the anger back. Tail thrashing like a mad cat, Esmeralda eventually spoke, eyes serious yet not as fierce as previously, "I understand your plea...and partially know the connection you desire. Very well Ember, I cannot keep you from your heart's desire. You, Nyx, are welcome to stay. Being so young I think Alpha Azul would put you as an apprentice but if Ember sees you ready, you can be a Warrior...not a high one, but enough to mingle amongst us and learn first hand." Eying Ember more now, Esmeralda closed the distance to face her future-pack member directly, "I am happy for you...don't expect this ever again but I briefly apologize for how...rough...I interrogated your sister, honestly I had no ways of being sure. Anyone could walk onto these grounds and demand to be someone's relative, I had no parent smell to compare. You say she is your sister...and supposedly has the same darkness in your heart, I mentioned earlier not to tell even kin of my reign, our future, but do you believe Nyx is capable of joining our ranks?" Esmeralda would be welcome to accept Nyx if she proved valuable to both herself and of course, Ember. Though if the child wanted to be apart of their future, she had to swear her loyalty over to Esmeralda as well - which, of course, would be returned. |

| Bowing her head to her Alphess, Ember spoke. "Thank you so much Esmeralda. I will train her to have my skills and groom her to be a wolf fit for you to recruit. i do believe she is capable of joining your ranks. If I had a wolf keeping me from seeing my only living kin, I would've behaved just as she did. Come, Nyx, I'll show you to your new home." Nyx was going to be by Ember's side all of the time until the fae knew her little sister could take care of herself. They would train and work, hard, for Ember knew that Nyx's behavior was instinctual .
Tugging on Nyx's ear, Ember spoke to her sister. "We will train you to be a fine warrior. From what I was told of your past, you could be even better than me." An idea sparked in Ember's mind, and she turned to Esme. "Esmeralda, would you like to train Nyx. You could groom her to be exactly what you want. I, of course, would train her too. But you could train her to be exactly what you want for a wolf in your reign." Ember sat and tilted her head, waiting for Esme to speak. |

| Nyx heard the fae before she saw her. The other fae she had been previously arguing with was forgotten at the beautiful fae walking towards them. Almost instantly, Nyx could tell it was her older sister. She looked exactly like their father, except for the white eyes. Nyx did not know where her sister got the ivory eyes, but their color was the color of her pelt. Her blue and amber eyes widened as her sister came up to her and spoke. Nyx could see the surprise in her sister's eyes. When Ember began to speak, Nyx smiled. "Y-yes, I am Nyx. It is so good to finally meet you, big sister." Nyx's mood went from being rubbed the wrong way to being excited and hyper once again. Her ivory tail wagged and she stood closer to her sister's side.
The young fae listened as Ember and the one her sister called Esmeralda speak. It seemed like they were deciding something about her, but Nyx didn't mind. As long as she was near her sister, Nyx would be happy. When Ember addressed her, saying that she would be trained by her, Nyx smiled. Watching Ember, it seemed to Nyx that her sister had come up with an idea. As Ember addressed the wolf named Esmeralda with her idea, Nyx nearly froze. Being trained by her? It seemed like the fae would rather try to kill her than help her become a better warrior. Her blue and amber eyes widened and she spoke softly. "I am fine by being trained by anyone who will, but I think Esmeralda would kill me before helping me learn." Looking at Esmeralda, Nyx stood in a position that mirrored Ember's perfectly, but was unintentional. They were both waiting for the other fae to speak. |

| The conversation held little importance to Esmeralda so she decided to look away, deep in the caverns of her twisted mind, until finally she was spoken to again. Train that whelp? When Nyx gave her two cents in the proposition, Esmeralda only narrowed her eyes, a smirk upon her muzzle. "Your sister speaks the truth, I am unable to train without a serious fighting intention." Rolling her shoulders in a wolf shrug, Esmeralda continued, "Besides it would look strange if I was training your sister. I may supervise when you train in private but, like I said, it would rub the wrong way I began to train apprentices." Side by side the sisters mirrored one another in multiple ways, to Esmeralda it would be wrong to step into their bonding time anyway.
"Before I leave, there is something important you must know Nyx. Alpha Azul is the current leader of these pansies and though my reign is not far away, you must follow him until then. Do not whisper of our plans, don't threaten those who tick you off. Keep quiet and pretend to pledge your alliance to Alpha Azul. Until that day comes. " Esmeralda sent a glance to Ember during the last comment, the serpent showing her venomous grin. "Well, it seems all is done here, shall we go our separate ways?" |

| Ember nodded, realizing that maybe her idea wasn't the best. The fae admired her Alphess's honesty, but Esmeralda's dislike for her sister made Ember step in front of Nyx protectively. "I understand, and I will train her to the best of her abilities. Your dislike of Nyx will change when I am done training her. She will be a true vision and asset to your reign. We will begin training immediately" At her Alphess's smirk, Ember smiled at Nyx. If Nyx was anything like her, they would be almost invincible fighting partners when put together. The fae would teach her sister about the bloodlust that drove her to be such a warrior that she was now.
Nipping her sister's ear, Ember listened to the words Esmeralda spoke to Nyx. It was pretty much the same thing she told her when Ember first pledged her alliance. Turning her head away, she took and interest in the area around them until her Alphess was done speaking. Smiling softly down at her sister, Ember spoke. "Come along, my sister. Let me show you to your new home." Moving forward, the angelic fae took a graceful jog to the camp clearing. Nyx's training would begin with making a den. As her paws pounded in sync, the angelic fae was gone in a matter of seconds. |

| Nyx waited silently as her sister and the one named Esmeralda spoke. She guess that the fae whom seemed to hate her so much would be her Alphess now, but only in private until the time came. The young fae could see why her sister respected the other fae so, with her natural power and leadership. As Ember spoke, Nyx enjoyed every word. She wanted to be the best warrior of her ability, to be as respected as her sister. Nyx would work hard to make Ember proud, to be the warrior her new Alphess wanted.
When Esmeralda spoke to her, Nyx flicked her ghostly white ears forward to listen. Nodding her small head, her hereto-chromatic eyes focused on the fae. "I will not bleed a word. My irritation of you will all that is known among others. I'll follow the Alpha, and when the time comes I will join your reign. Until then, I will train hard to make my sister and you proud." As Ember spoke to her, the young fae nodded and followed. Nyx was surprised at her sister's speed, and the young fae was equally fast. In a matter of seconds, Nyx had caught up to her sister and both faes were out of sight. |

| She did not truly dislike Ember's sister but the misconception could be left alone, for now. Esmeralda nodded, grinning evilly with a venomous gaze and let her two followers depart. Bowing slightly before they entirely disappeared into the forest, Esmeralda watched the sisters deteriorate until their forms were no longer visible. "A job well done." Esmeralda reflected upon herself then let her own figure diminish from the clearing, heading her own way. |
