The sun was high above her head as the fae traveled the well worn path of the forest. Her paws had led her to the western border after a long night of training. Since Katyusha had started to follow the Alpha around the Lead Warrior spent her free time training herself in her own unique methods. Tree climbing and swimming underwater were one thing, but even the new Delta wouldn't begin to understand the complexity of cliff diving or "tethering" a special method she invented. It involved climbing to the top of the white trees called birch and hanging on to the top most branch. Then she would clamp on to the branch with her teeth and jump towards the ground. The tree would bend and swing her down, but it would strengthen her jaw and neck muscles in the process.

Cracking her neck from last night a howl on the wind caught her attention. It sounded male, which lifted her spirits. The pack needed more males and she hoped this one didn't dissapoint her. Trotting forward she soon came to the border where a pitch black male stood waiting. "You" she barked as the small fae came out of the shadows. "Who are you and why have you come to the border of my pack?" She questioned, her tail curled high and her hackles raised in an attempt to seem large to this well built male. "I am the Lead Warrior of this pack, Chiara. State your name and purpose here male, I won't waste my time here with small talk."

As the brute spoke and submitted to him Chiara breathed a sigh of relief. How enlightening it was to meet a wolf who knew how to approach a border. Most loners she met greeted her with a sharp tongue and a cocky attitude, yet this male was quite the opposite. Looking him over he seemed well built and his scarred body showed previous fights in his past. Such a wolf with this knowledge of respect and combat would do nicely in the pack, but did he impress her? Relaxing her hackles Chiara started to circle the male like a shark, waiting for him to stand still or follow her with his eyes. Such an act would mean distrust in his mind, a trait she couldn't have. No instead he hoped he would remain still and put his life in her paws as she circled behind him. She wouldn't jump him, but how was he to know that? "You are correct we are a strong pack. Our numbers may be strong, but that's because we only accept the best of the best into our arms. Tell me did you happen to scent the pack north of us? It's numbers are large, but it's scent is anything from strong." She taunting, wondering if he had stumbled across Helidos lands in his travels.

Coming back around front of Nashoba she yawned lazily and seated herself. As she relaxed she nodded her maw to him. "You may relax, for you are one of the few loners who truly respect a pack wolf when they see one. Don't get used to this gesture though, for others in the pack won't be as quick to arm up to a new comer." She warned, waiting for him to straighten up. If her mood had been sour she would have forced him in a crouch for their entire encounter, but luck was on his side today. "Loyalty is the main thing that drives us in the pack. All must be loyal to the Alpha and willing to serve with their lives if needed. Any wolf who can't pledge that is as good as dead in our eyes. If you want to be a warrior of the pack then pleadge yourself here and now." She barked, her voice firm.

ooc-FYI this post falls before Chiara's promotion

bic-Chiara half smiled at the male as he spoke his pledge. She would hold him to it as long as he remained in the pack, just as all members were bound to their words. All must serve the Alpha, with anything and any part of their existence. She herself was being called to serve Steele in a special way and she would answer accordingly. Magnus had told her of Steele's condition for the pair to become mates, namely siring her first litter. At first she had hesitated, but even though Magnus hadn't said she guessed harm would come to him of she refused. Now with the changing of seasons coming fast she would soon go to her Alpha without question, just as she would any task.

Sighing at the thought of it her golden eyes went back to the male. He would make a fine warrior with some minor training and a knowledge of the land. "Very well then. You shall now be known as Warrior Nashoba. You would do well in introducing yourself to our Alpha and learning the lands and pack members here. I'd also recommend training from myself or our other experienced members. Follow my scent trail to the main pack lands, I have business elsewhere." She said, rising to her feet and starting to walk off. She figured the male could handle himself from here on out, if not he didn't belong here anyway.
