All the talk was boring Esmeralda and only rising her tension. Why were they talking this out? They just needed to battle and put the rat in his place. Esmeralda's growl erupted deep from her as she leapt onto Steele, crushing him against the ground, "I am not a pawn of any sort, nor are any of these wolves! You shut your fucking trap and show us how you're fit to hold the Beta rank, coyote!" Her canines dripped with saliva, laughter laced with a twisted mind escaped her as she loved the feeling of finally being able to attack him. This feeling did not last long however as a cream figure removed her from the ebony male, plopping her to the ground in surprise. She froze as the scent registered and looked up at the fuming eyes of the delicate creatures. What was Genevieve doing here?

As Genevieve spoke, Esmeralda's face was splattered with shock and disgust. Disgusted she was caught by Genevieve and shocked the female was risking her very life speaking so boldly. Sending a gaze of pure hate to Steele, Esmeralda sat to the ground in defeat. Never would she fold to anyone, she was too stubborn and head strong, an animal, but if it was Genevieve, she would obey. How could she get caught like this? Why didn't she sense Genevieve arriving? As Genevieve addressed her, the look in her younger sister's eyes was all too knowing. She had disappointed the only family she had and though the emotion did not cross her face, she felt entirely ashamed.

Why did she side with Kenai? To fuel the fire Steele had provided, just to make him angry? Most likely, though he was her Elite but even that didn't persuade her wandering mind. What was it about that male that frustrated her so? Esmeralda swore by her words, she would skin him and make him a nice rug for her den but for now she would have to cool down and wait, wait for her chance. "Yes, I do," Esmeralda stood and left without another word, her eyes glancing to Kenai then too Genevieve, as if to say - protect her from her actions and I won't tell of this incident. The ashen fae left the group, never looking back or listening to the words spoken, and pretended to head towards the pack camp.

Time seemed to slow down as more events unfolded before Chiara. Anger fueled her as Steele spilled more lies and stirred everyone up into a rage filled frenzy. Her black paws clenched the dirt she stood on in pure anxiety as Esmerelda yelled at him and was joined by the cream female Creek. Her mind jumbled with thoughts of how to react and when she should slip away to alert Azul when Kenai barked out. Flinching at his voice she eyed him and absorbed his words of peace before watching him sulk off. Slightly confused to the sudden break of events Chiara half thought about following the Elite when another cream female entered the picture and started screaming things. Eying the new female she saw brief exchange of looks between her and Esmerelda, could they be related?

The idea played on her tongue and it was further fueled when the new fae got the bold female to leave Steele and back down. Not knowing Esmerelda for very long Chiara had a hunch that she was stubborn and didn't listen to authority well, but this female had a different affect on her. A the new female addressed her Chiara smiled a bit out of humor at the situation and dipped her head. "I'm Chiara a warrior here, its a pleasure to meet you." She spoke softly and calm. Her mind was still muddled with what had just happened, but she started to calm herself down and remained intact towards this newcomer.

[[Fast forward Rapids Falls to current time, all have gone and a few days have passed. In side threads wolves have gone in and out...but none have engaged in this current time...]]

The brute walked forward into the serenity of this place, the calming sounds of water was almost tantalizing to him. "Finally, a place where I can collect my thoughts." He spoke, his words barely coming out of his mouth. He was ashamed how he had acted towards the females in the pack, especially the young sprite named Ember. How was he ever going to find a mate with this changing way of life, and constantly changing attitude and outbursts. Cerberus came to a stop above the waters edge, the large boulder beneath him was cool to the touch, giving his pads a nice break from the hard ground.

With a long stretch, his front legs pushed forward, sliding upon the rock, and his back legs braced for an action. With a leap, Cerberus was in the air, his whole body extended. The look on his face was of utter brilliance, he was blissfully happy when he ran, there was nothing that could touch him. The same went for when he was near water. Suddenly, his body collided with the water, the rush of cold hist his skin beneath his fur and he shivered a moment before adjusting to the comfort of the pooling water. Ducking his head under he completely soaked his coat, the beautiful tones of copper now clung to his side. The brute didn't look as large as he was when he was soaked, he looked tiny and frail, and weak.

With the force of his powerful legs, he glided through the water like he was running on land. Cerberus enjoyed this peace he had, until he would have company, or would be called to the attention of the pack. It seemed like all his worries were gone, Ember was no where in sight. There would be no need for another altercation, unless another female approached him. Only next time, he would keep calm and not jump to his old ways. He was trying to change. The brute continue to splash around in the water.
