| Upon spring's grand arrival did the sun begin to shine through the white and cover the lands with a new beginning. What was once covered had now been revealed with blossoming color and temporary beauty. The spirit couldn't quite wrap it's head around the thought of being here now for three winters, how time had become so vulnerable to their control and dwindled away to almost nothing in one stick-snapping moment. The dew glazed across the Helidos clearing filled her nostrils, tickling her insides to enlighten her mood by the slightest. Her eyes matched the greenery expanding around her, but in shared a wide comparison in shade for now. There was still time for that to change, for it was only the start of the beautiful season. Despite the lack of perspiration that sunrise, she predicted some later that day, perhaps while everyone was within their dens and had shut their tired eyes. By then, she'd still be awake and watching vigilantly around the area, and none would be there to stop her. Her beloved had been working so hard among himself, and she knew the better of it was because the arrival of pups in the pack. She could not recall whom had bred during the winter, nonetheless, their pups would be welcomed greatly.
As she moved along, she nodded pleasantly to nearing wolves, sharing a mild glance to those she held little relations with and bigger smiles to those she knew deeply of. She did this daily, the consistency never to be broken and so on becoming the way which she would live her days till death in the loyalty of this pack - Helidos. Her tail played a delicate role in swiftly dangling behind her, just to brush the back of her legs. Pack turned to neutrals within no time. She discovered new lands which had been founded among their shared territories, once which have become newer additions to the onces shared between both packs. The beta knew to be wise while she was so alone. She was not a threat to anyone, but her knowledge had given her the benefactor throughout those many years which she had come faced to face with danger itself.
Juno, a godly fae, elegantly dipped into a sheer blanket of fog to hide her entire body. The obsidian black pigment to her thick fur had completely vanished beneath what floated above the rocky surfaced land. She held her nose high to sense any others to follow, as well as a small assisting to where she was headed in particularly. The tips of her ears were the only thing to be seen above the ocean of fog, if nothing at all. The ground was rough as it touched her feet, and covered with rocks in her wake, which she was aware of when nearly tripping over one. She growled quietly to herself and made her way to higher ground. There was an opening in the ghostly area to what seemed to of lead to a small mountain. As she climbed, her weary limbs shook, but easily aided her in getting up. If she knew how to get up somewhere, she definitely knew she could get back down by herself, too. Her eyes trained onto what lurked below. Nothing, but a few taller boulders and a thick sea of white lay before her.

| Spring, Spring, Spring....To be honest the fae seemed to prefer the harsh bitter Winter's to the what seemed to be the almost soft, gentle springs. It was surprising to say at the least how two seasons so different could change into each other so quickly. Already Spring was beginning to show itself as the thick endless snow was beginning to turn into more of a slush in places and green could be seen trying to poke up between Winter's feeble attempt to cling on to the world as it prepared itself for the beauty of Summer. A sigh would leave the warrior's short muzzle and would no longer show itself as a small icy cloud but merely settle with being a sound- nothing more but a exhale. But everyone always went on about how beautiful everything to do with Spring was, but no, Tundra found Winter much more attractive with it's still silent expanses of frozen water- the icy bare trees and white sparkling forests. Much more then these bright blinding flashes of color that were appearing everywhere as Spring began to make itself into the world for a new year.
The landscape surrounding the ghostly figure began to change as she moved from Erenyx to the Neutral territories. This area in particular seemed unfamiliar and slight curiosity would spark up within her deep hollow self. What a foreign feeling. Yet another sigh would drift away from her maw and she would come to a stop- sharp hazel gaze running across the area surrounding her with an almost lazy demeanor. If she had been looking properly she might have realized that there was another not too far off but that wasn't what she was focusing on. No the female was taking in her surroundings briefly before sitting down on the edge of a jagged rock that jutted above a small pool of dark almost black water- almost completely hidden by the thick curtain of fog that cloaked the place as far as one could see. Perfect. Apart from the occasional stream of weak sunlight trying to penetrate the fog and mostly failing, Spring had not yet claimed these lands and a small smirk would make itself at home on the female's mouth.
She had not noticed how far she had climbed up until now as the sun gave another burst of effort to penetrate the fog- still failing but still giving her a better idea of where she was. After the pool beneath her rock there seemed to be a sheer drop to who knows where? The fog was a fan of surprises. Oh goody. |

| Fel pawed once at the fog that came in a mist near the borders of the ominous territory. It scattered around her, but soon returned as she withdrew her forepaw. With a huff, she entered the glade with a calm gait, being sure to pick her feet up so that she would not stumble on the rocky terrain. The fog engulfed her raven body entirely, hiding her from view. But the price of this camouflage was that it was double-sided. Even her keen eyes could not see more than a few feet away from her as she padded along, the chill of the not yet melted snow cooling her paws pleasantly. It was nice to see that somewhere, even in this hell, winter prevailed. Fel did not know quite why she came here, travelling into the neutral territories, but she didn’t really care. Perhaps some weak Helidos wolf would run into her jaws, or maybe one of the wolves of Erenyx would show themselves. As she ambled on, Fel began to catch the scent of two wolves. She chose the closest one of the two and headed towards it, raising her tail to become level with her spine and letting it snake after her as she weaved between boulders.
Shifting through the fog, she neared the scent. It was clearer now… More distinguishable. The wolf was a female of her own pack. Fel wondered why she had come here, but then figured the reason could not be much different from her own. In silence, she padded up behind the form, barely distinguishable amongst the floating shelter even in proximity and yet outlined by it. The beta lifted her tail, arching it over her back. Her raven fur shifted through the patches of fog and light, hidden in general but visible up close. It was her icy, emotionless eyes that pierced through the mist and rested upon the fae. Fel knew the other was well aware of her presence. “Who are you?” The voice was low for a fae, but flowed smoothly in the space between them. Fel’s frame remained tall, her ears and nose keeping watch on their surroundings. There was still another out here, and she did not want any surprises.

| The beta female's attention slowly rose with the increasing amount of fog heading upwind. Though, the sudden sense of smells did not excite her enough to raise her head from her paws, but only a slight glance into the direction she depicted it came from. One held a sliver of familiarity, however, Juno kept to herself and brushed it off without another thought. Perhaps it was just an illusion that had wandered across her fit of daydreams and journeyed mind. She knew the troubles with getting older had yet to fiddle with her, and she feared little of the early blooming effects she had thought to of been playing upon her now-a-days. Her fur ruffled and shuddered as the wind picked up, shivering at the gentlest of touches to her coat as it seemed to form a steady hand across her flank and shoulders. If she had not of known better, she would've mistaken it to be someone brushing up along her side as a sort of tactic to frighten her. This thought made her think a bit seriously now, as her instincts were telling her she was in a possible place of danger, and this scent was not of her own. She was brave, and many other things, but two wolves could be too much for her to bear alone.
Juno stayed aloft the rock she had found, keeping low to the ground as best she could by laying down and comfortably resting her chin over her front paws. She found a voice amongst the silence, which sent a ringing of dusty memories. Did she know of this wolf? Throughout her times and years amongst the Helidos rule, she had come to know many individuals, ones of which whom also chose the path of evil and live amongst them today as well. Ones like Chiara, a long friend of hers from when she was just a mere Warrior, had chosen that same path and moved onto bigger and brighter opportunities as well as love she discovered. She would always share a strong bond with the she-wolf, no matter the differences in their futures. Looking over the edge, she found two pairs of floating orbs, their owner's bodies completely blanketed in the thick fog below. One was as blue as the morning spring skies, while the other's rested along the lines of a shining hazel-gold. The blue hues however shared a familiar face as she slowly eased from her position and down the rock-side. She avoided any costs of allowing a rock or pebble to fall to give away her position, and gently made her way to the neighboring edge that led to their locations. Juno stood at a safe distance behind the blue-eyed serpent, sitting patiently with a leveled bright green lantern gaze. She sat at most fifteen wolves away from the pair, though she could only wonder how long that would last.
"Salutations, Fel." Juno replied in a silk-like, angelic tone. |

| You have your normal senses- hearing, feeling, smelling, seeing and so on but there's always that one sense that's always left out and not the easiest to explain. The ability to feel another's presence. The feeling of being watched hit the Warrior of Erenyx full on and the female tensed slightly- keeping her steely hazel gaze fixed on the blanket of fog stretching out for what seemed forever ahead of her and refusing to look back. Yes it was silly- someone could easily just come up behind her and with the simplicity of a nudge, end the life of Tundra and give her to the blanket of fog that would do nothing to ease her fall but it seemed such a cowardly thing to do and the white wolf found herself highly doubting that one would. And if they did then ah well she supposed, it wasn't like there was much to miss if her time did ever decide to end and let her leave this dreadful earth. She wouldn't be surprised if earth was another planet's hell- something about the place seemed pretty twisted alright. The wolf was quiet definitely- she'd give it that. But there was only a certain amount of quiet one could be when the ground was covered in loose gravel and small stones and the thick fog though it muffled most sounds- made it harder to avoid anything that may alert another of ones presence. It was these small telltale noise that let Tundra know that the other one was near and with a small grunt- the ghostly form turned and let her empty hazel gaze meet with an icy one seeming almost equally empty.
The figure before her was Erenyx however she had another older scent clinging beneath it that Tundra could just not place and with a slight grunt of frustration- she labeled her as new to Erenyx. New but with a high rank already? Well it definitely thought it was, Tundra's gaze passed over the raised tail and tall posture with a snort- her own posture was stiff of course but that was quite normal for Tundra because well she never really ever seemed to look quite relaxed. Her set of gentle colored eyes hardened by the past and what it held were really the only thing that stopped Tundra blending in with the fog completely- if she could just close her eyes maybe she could disappear forever...a sigh left her slightly opened maw before dragging her attention back to the dark pelted female before her. Looking sinister, no doubt about that with the white fog swirling around her large dark frame and them piercing blue eyes but it had little effect on Tundra. In fact it reminded her bitterly of Fell and she felt her stomach twist and slight nausea climb up her spine. This wolf in front of her looked very like Fell.
She almost missed the question directed at her from the female in a voice deeper then most other fae's however it was not too surprising and seemed to fit with the wolf before her much more then a soft or high pitched voice would. Giving her head a small shake and gathering her thoughts, Tundra would observe the black pelted female before her for a few more moments of silence before finally opening her mouth and stating in a voice that unlike the other wolf's voice, was soft and silky however it did not give Tundra a soft and gentle reputation but instead made her sound sly and dangerous like the type that would stab you in the back. Maybe she would, maybe she wouldn't. It didn't really matter now anyway. "Who am I? Hm, what an interesting question and to be honest I would love to know the answer" a small chuckle would leave her and her gaze would stray from the dark figure before her and instead fix itself on the thick wall of fog that hid who knew what before speaking again in an almost bored tone of voice "If it is my name and my status you are looking for then I will give you them, I am Tundra a Warrior of Erenyx- nothing more nothing less."
At this her gaze would return to the female before she would once again continue "Not that I care but I suppose it would be best that I knew who I am speaking to, so who are you?" she would lean back on her haunches and welcome the cold icy feeling that would seep into her bones from the smooth bare rock beneath her. Shame Winter wouldn't hang around everywhere else as well. Twitching her ears, the fae would wrinkle her nose as yet another scent passes through her nostrils- this one not so familiar like Erenyx and already she could tell what it was- Helidos.
Turning around, her eyes would only have to search for a moment before a voice would allow her gaze to find the wolf with ease. Two bright green eyes stared back from the fog- focused on...Fel? The name caused a shudder to crawl up Tundra's spine and for a moment she just stood there- the wind ruffling her fur. The names were way too similar and their look were way too familiar for Tundra and for a moment she felt slightly fearful before giving her head a sharp shake and gritting her teeth. It was just a coincidence. Still feeling slightly uncertain the female turned a narrowed gaze back to the two pairs of orbs of blue and green. So this Helidos wolf knew Fel? That was interesting to say at the least. Tundra leaned back on her haunches, watching the two without a word. No need to speak unless she had to. |

| Fel stared at the ghostly white fae in front of her as she snorted and sighed and spoke. She did not seem to be the obedient type, but she wasn’t overly rebellious either. Her words that slithered out as a chuckle were almost irritating, but still tolerable. Fel’s calm features did not change throughout this Warrior’s silky-sounding phrases, though her tail slid down limply to its normal position once the point was across. So she was called Tundra… A name befitting the color of her pelt and seemingly her personality as well. When asked for her own identity, Fel paused for a moment. “I am your new Beta, who bears the name of–” The dark fae was cut off with a greeting that came from behind her. It did not bother her to be interrupted, as the familiar voice of her former superior achieved the same result. The warrior from her pack shuddered and seemed almost petrified for a moment, which was quite a peculiar sight. Had they met before, for Fel’s name to have left an impression on her? It did not seem likely at all. In a lower tone, addressing only Tundra, she asked, “Have we already been acquainted?” Not pausing for an answer, she swung her head around to meet the bright green eyes of the source of the Helidos scent. It was strange how not long ago, she bore the same smell proudly, but now she found it disgusting despite it lingering on her own fur. In a rumbling, neutral tone, she responded. “Greetings, Juno… Is Azul still grieving? And Quinn, how is she faring in such a tragedy?” It was almost unlike Fel to subtly jest, but there was no harm to it. Athena was dead by her jaws, and she had been exiled for it. Yet she had risen from the fall, and now bore a rank equivalent to Juno. Juno… Fel recalled them hunting together when she herself was but a warrior in Helidos. The fae was decent, but her voice and manner reflected her pack strongly. Always too kind, too joyful, too angelic. The Erenyx Beta held her emerald gaze from afar, turning slightly so her sides faced both faes. Silently, she wondered if Juno would have the courage to come further out of the mists that shrouded her body, being outnumbered already. Perhaps she would, but doing so in a peaceful manner. This much was not known. Regardless, Fel stood at the ready, as she always was. Only in her sleep was the onyx fae ever truly relaxed. |
