| Amid the rasped, treacherous voice of their commander, he requested upon everyone's role and what it is regarding the meeting to which he had called them upon. They would spar, evenly and equally according to rank and so on by his own perspective of whom befitted their potential opponent. The mender felt that the task was reasonable - fair for everyone, despite the possible loss in rank that their fate has set for them, but also a chance for some to take their rightful lead. Perhaps then, she'd be able to give a go upon reaching what was finally hers once more. Being proper and delicate as she was, there rest a strong wolf at that beneath it all. One would not striker in any way intimidating unless she tried to be, and even then, there beheld little evidence if she were. Not a single scar rested upon her, nor even the slightest of scratches unless it be the very pads of her four paws, and that'd be it. However, the fae knew enough knowledge among defense and offensive play due to her natal roots. She was a stubborn pup, never knew when to stop when she found interest. The wolf wanted to learn all there was within a pack, and her parents spoiled her until she knew she had found her true calling as a wise healer. Thus, nonetheless, she did not take pride in such a skill within these moments.
She arrived shortly along-side her opponent, Heaven, she was called. They resembled highly, being that they were both of the southern type of breed and then-some, but their furs slightly differed in tone. Hers was a rather honey-brown color, whilst the other's was shaded a bit darker according to the markings woven to her backside and ears. Cliche found genetics to be a fascinating thing, especially with being that of a healer, and a mother as well, at that. But, before she could stare too long, she looked casually away and examined the Moor to be of that it was in it's quiet nature. All the females were being formed among their partners in several sections evenly scattered across the terrain so that they'd have the ability to spar, as well as hold enough coverage in order to properly attack and not be interrupted by another colliding pair. When positioned accordingly to their leader's command, she followed suit and placed her feet equally as told to and nose pointed ahead in the direction of her partner - Heaven. Such a strange name for the stereotypical pack, but perhaps it was a cover. An innocent name like that was used for various reasons upon battle to make the opponent feel confident; her own mother did not raise a fool, so to speak. But, there, in the moments before beginning their spar, she only thought one thing. First it was her beloved, then her children, and last...
Will she succeed? And if so, what would she gain from it?
Cliche shook her head slightly to rid the stubborn thought to which still stuck to the side of her mind. Her amber hues averted to the female before her, watching for any chance in her expression or body behavior towards her. Body language told a lot about an individual, even within the most intense moments, especially like so. She wondered how much the female knew about sparring, if any, and if she were to be beaten despite her own true knowledge. Nonetheless, the healer displayed no fear and only a calm demeanor before offering the opposing other a reassured, tilted grin, "Afraid this isn't the time to get to know each other... but I wish you luck."She meant it with complete honesty. Though, that smile soon then vanished to be replaced with a smug, ruggish expression. It had been long since she had sparred, but the objective rolled over in her mind countless times, and already she was beginning to pin-point the other's possible weaknesses and strengths she could have. Her lip curled threateningly to reveal her sharp, white fangs, eyes narrowed towards her as a way of displaying intimidation.
Ready... Aim... Fire...

| Heaven sat quietly as the alpha asked ranks and assigned them equally to their sparring partners. She lowered her head slightly, looking at the ground with her deep brown eyes. She paused with her thoughts and listened as the wolves were paired off into groups of two and told to spar each other. It was pretty equal and seemed plenty fair for each wolf that was assigned off to another. Her breathing was deep and strong, slow and steady. She licked her ebony nose nervously before turning her head to look at the female Beta. She instantly straightened out and held her head higher then she had been. She rolled her shoulders back and put on the scariest face she could muster before relaxing and letting her thoughts roam for a brief moment before her spar should begin. She had been thrown in fights between the brutes of her old pack to stop them or just simply to have them tear her apart instead of tearing each others apart. She had many scars across her body and face because of that, some showed and others were hidden by her thick pelt. She knew the penalties of sparring and she wished she hadn't answered the alpha's call for them. But she had and now she was to fight another healer whom could have more knowledge in fighting then she did. Was this spar really worth it? She could prove to Fel that the training was paying off. That was all she really wanted.
She took another deep breath and smiled to herself, yes this was what she wanted. She was commanded to take position and so she moved and across from her was the other healer. Her eyes narrowed briefly as she took in the quick basics she would need. They were both pretty equal in just about everything. Perhaps Cliche knew more about herbs, or fighting but either was they were the same gender, same rank, same type of wolf. If they were basically the same, why was Heaven so scared? If she failed, would she be killed, or banished from the lands she wanted so badly to make her home. Heaven was smaller then the other she-wolf, but not by much and that simply meant that she had an upper paw with agility and movement. Her large ears tilted forward once more, deep brown eyes searching the other Mexican wolf. Sure they were the same breed but Heaven looked so very different then her sparring partner. She had fluffy fur while Cliche had smooth. They were truly nothing alike, surely Cliche must have been a monster in order to have joined the pack. So Heaven was sweet and bitterly innocent. Her training made her stronger and taught her to put up an act for those who were evil. She couldn't ever be friends with anyone in the pack and she felt that if she dared to leave after being so stubborn about joining that she would meet certain death.
She finally let her thoughts end just in time to hear the other healer speak. She knew she had to be kind but nasty and so she summed up bitter but sweet words to say. "Yes, it's hardly the time for chit-chat. Good luck to you as well, you'll need it." She smirked bitterly and then watched as the other healer took defensive measures. She herself took a defense stance when she realized she had an opening for attack. She tucked her tail against her body. Her ears pinned against her head and she took a few steps forward. Her heart pounded into her ears and she lowered her head in a quick bow of respect to the healer she barely knew. She started forward, claws shifting with the earth and every step she took. Suddenly, as she neared closer she lunged forward, dirt spraying from her tight grip on the earth. She dodged to the left and then twisted to the right. She left the ground and soared quickly towards her target. Her jaws parted and she aimed for the she-wolf's shoulder. If she caught onto it, she would attempt to grasp the ground with her paws and shove all her weight into the she-wolf while biting the shoulder. It was a fairly simple plan and could easily be dodged, but she also figured many ways that she would need to move in order to avoid being hit. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempting to bite her right shoulder and slam her weight against her to knock her off-balance. | You'll need it.
She would keep that in mind, but for now, the only thing she would think is nothing else but the objective of the game. They were pawns, individuals whom were pushed first in battle to fight - her the black, and the other healer, the white. Every move they would make made a major effect on their outcome. Did she take the wrong step, if so, why was it wrong? Where, and how hard did she bite into? What precautions did she take when performing the attack? Healers were born and bred practically to be the multi-taskers of the pack, and she sought very long and hard to find that ability at a young age before even knowing who she truly was. Now, she stood before a slow-moving display of a wolf about to attack her, and her first thought was to dodge it, but the snide comment made her insides churn and boil with the pure desire to slam into her at full swing. The only good that would do is injure her own shoulder, but also make a difference on the opposing healer, perhaps. When parted from her subconscious, Cliche noticed that the healer was smaller than her, meaning she depended less on strength, and more on speed.
Making the escape, she flanked right and avoided the attack made towards her shoulder, but allowed the fae to sway into her body when landing full-fledged onto the ground nearest to her. The momentum behind this was simple, thus granting her the advantage of sweeping away untouched, and completely, and fairly balanced. She kept a few paces away before advancing into the next motion. Her ears stayed closely pinned against her narrow cranium skull, eyes still narrowed and wildly large as they started down the other with slow moving steps. Soon, she gradually closed in and made herself a path to try for the healer's limbs. Being that she replied on speed, it would mean Cliche's best option was to take out what supported her until she would surrender otherwise. She was prepared to make this a bloody fight, and being that they were both trained healers, that gave them the advantage to be able to heal themselves easily when they would return back to camp.
Haunches raised and teeth bared for show, she flanked vigorously back and forth to kick up some dirt. Body turned, she used her hind legs to dust up a cloud of the earthy-texture, which was purposely targeted towards the wolf's face so that she'd be temporarily blinded. This was easily avoided if the wolf were to shield her face in some manner, otherwise, it would slightly burn her vision for a short moment to buy some time. When given, she short-handedly turned back around and slid towards the opposing fae to take a shot at her front legs. Her jaws opened wide and her teeth were ready to latch at anything should find within the dust, which was slowly clearing as she moved closer. If the female were to take a chance at Cliche's side, the Healer would simply latch onto hers as well and they'd be forced to tug it out until they'd release, that is, if they ever did.

| Heaven had missed her attacked attempt and had been able to use her body against the other. As she watched her pace back and forth the she-wolf healer name Cliche kicked up dirt towards her face. Just like she had been trained to, she turned her face away for a few seconds and turned to see the she was nearly at her legs. She threw her body to the side, twisting her right back leg as she scrambled away. She's good... I didn't see her till the last second. Her thoughts circled in her mind and she started doubting coming to the sparring area that day. She shook her head and even with the pain in her leg, she dug her claws into the ground and crouched low so she could get speed and balance for herself. She didn't really mean to be harsh to the other healer, in fact she hadn't meant her earlier said words at all. She had learned from the Beta that a tough skin might be better then a soft one and she didn't want to be killed for being kind but she also didn't want an enemy in a healer that she could learn much from. She rolled her shoulders forward to protect her neck and she breathed calmly. Her leg hurt be because of pushing a boulder, she learned to be a bit stronger and not whine or give up.
She didn't apologize or even look like she was sorry to the she-wolf even though she truly was. She ran through her mind a move she saw her old alpha make, he had circled the prey, scaring it into twisting and then he had attacked the shoulder and tore flesh from it. She nodded to herself, ears pinning against her head as she put the idea into her head in a few seconds. She tucked her tail so it was out of the way so she may gain her speed quickly. She didn't smile but in her mind she was sort of pleased with herself. She was doing everything she was taught and then some, this was good. Nothing else mattered but at least doing her very best... no more then her best. She had to give her best and then push the boulder up the mountain kind of best. She remembered her love and friend, Hush. This gave her the courage to do some damage to the she-wolf. She started her move, circling around the she-wolf at a safe distance. No taunts, no given thing that gave her away. She was a solid emotionless hard to tell she-wolf. No one could tell her next moves, only she was running them through her mind. Countering out any dodges or such within her mind.
Heaven had circled the she-wolf once and now, still close to the ground with her defense set up. She lunged forward towards the she-wolf's side but then twisted and moved around her to the other side with quick movements. She parted her jaws and flung herself forward, teeth aiming for a soft spot on the she-wolf's shoulder. Her hind leg was throbbing and made her wanna cry out in pain but she held her tongue and did exactly as she was supposed to do. Her mind was wiped blank as she sailed through the air, she could only hope to land the blow and be able to do as she planned. The wind felt nice through her thick pelt and the sun burned against her skin. It was summer, it was beautiful. She was there, alive and surviving. She was doing her best and that was all that was required of her. She let a growl rip through her throat to show she meant business about this spar. I'm here, now, I'm strong now. I won't let you die now Hush... no... I won't let you die. You'll be with me always and always, in my mind and heart. Her thoughts finally swirled into her mind once more. ____________________________________ Attack: Circling her and aiming for one side and then bolting to her back area and to the other side, lunging through the air to grab and bite as hard as she can on the right shoulder. Defense: Ears pinned, tail tucked, low to the ground. Injuries: Sprained right hind leg, not severely though. |

| The fae was fortunate to see that Heaven had lost balance, and gained a sprained ankle along with it in the process of her trying to apply a sneak attack. Now that the dust was entirely clear, Cliche was forced to circle with the contender, shifting on the ends of her feet too and fro in doing so as they both formed a rotating sphere of pure hesitated intimidation. They two had finally met their match, as it was now that final round within their spar and it would clarify as to whom won over-all in experience. She'd be biased to say that she knew more so than the other, one would think, as well as herself partially, but that much, however, was not the case. The terms would be decided fairly amongst their leader and him alone, for whomever he chose, she'd see the fairness behind that. Either way, the two would end up leaving happy with the idea of them being able to heal, as well as learn, from this eventful day. And at sunset, she would return home to her beloved family as the same person as she was when arriving to the gathering. Another reason being is that her family would love her no matter what happened at the end of the day, and she had that to come home to, which was all that mattered to her most of all. Not the fighting, not the winning. It was them that mattered, and that only.
Forever in her heart, will family be her first priority.
Her ears narrowed as she stared down the other fae with a strong, amber-blazed pair of eyes, her posture light, and quick on her feet at any moment she would need it most. Muzzle close to the ground, she exerted most of her strength to her paws to remain steady and balanced as she stalked in the circling formation to which the wolves naturally concocted together. Her tongue slid sinisterly over her front teeth, for they were still visible passed her curled black lips and serpent-like grin. She examined the way the wolf stood and reacted before her, though her expressions meant little, Cliche had an idea as to what she was thinking along the lines of what she could do. But, she has been wrong countless amount of times before, perhaps she'd be surprised. At the slightest bit of movement in the fae's legs and jaw-parting, the Healer knew to react quickly. Her muscled flexed to keep still, and awaited for when the fae would land at her. She expected this, though being that the female was smaller, that meaning her weight would differ slightly, Cliche knew she could take it and what it was worth. But her next move would not be so wise for her health, however, desperate times required for desperate measures.
When Heaven embraced her teeth against her right shoulder, the Healer held back the need to yelp and winced, but her mind was altered to take the pain instantly before reacting. Automatically, her body tensed, and she could feel the agony sear through her, yet she made not the slightest sound. Due to the change in momentum upon her, Cliche stumbled slightly back, but held her ground firmly and growled out loud instead of whining at the stress put to her shoulder. In an instant, she pivoted to the side and latched at the fae's fur across her side before allowing her body to fall forcefully against the ground. This gave little time for the fae attached to her shoulder to release and escape before being pushed to the ground beneath Cliche's weight. At the impact, her shoulder had been dislocated due to the pressure within the wolf's jaw, and it made it even worse for the Healer to remain calm. Still, she bit back the inside of her cheek and released a blood-curling snarl at the face of Heaven. Her paws pinned her down, and she released the tuff of fur so that she could growl before her. Teeth bared, she snapped threateningly at her neck and curled her tail up in great dominance over the other. Her amber eyes grew like oxygen added to a flame, and a hidden evil about her rose from the dark depths within. If Heaven were to fight back, she'd have to push all the strength she had in order to prevent the slightly heavier female from breaking.

| Heaven felt her teeth sink into the other healers shoulder, her move had struck? She was about to release and stumble backwards when she felt the healer drag her her down. She knew that the other she-wolf's shoulder was dislocated. She released her grip on the poor she-wolf and before she could move she felt herself getting pinned by the weight of another. She growled out in surprise and shivered. Her back was sore and her paw was sprained but otherwise she was perfectly fine. Her deep brown eyes glared up out of fear, but she tucked her head as the she-wolf tried to snap at her neck. Instead of her neck, she felt the she-wolf's teeth scrape across her muzzle deeply. She was about to yowl but she held it in. She thrashed about, jerking body left and right as she tried to get away from the she-wolf. She snarled loudly so she would seem intimidating to the larger she-wolf. Her head was still tucked and she felt blood ooze down her muzzle. She let her tongue flick out and wipe the blood away. It tasted like iron and metallic like. She squinted at the taste of her own blood, it was nasty and she wasn't at all pleased with the taste. She moved her paws and attempted to scratch the she-wolf's face hard. It would most likely stun her enough to let Heaven escape. She flailed her claws with her paws, aiming for the face and then she thought better and she slammed her body forward. She parted her jaws and aimed for the face, she would attack until she was free and then she would back away and hold her ground. She snarled loudly as she used her back muscles to slam her body forward and attack the fae. She didn't want to harm her but she also didn't feel like dying that day. She had to live another day, fight back and win. Even if not win, at least survive. If her attacked landed then she should be able to squirm and get away from the larger she-wolf. She body quivered slightly and she bravely thought of what to say since the battle had ended. She shifted and pulled away from the she-wolf. Blood still running down her own muzzle and she didn't dare look at the other fae. They were the same breed and yet they were so different. She breathed in and out slowly, her back was bruised and her right hind paw was twisted. She backed away and sat down, her deep brown eyes stayed on the ground and she breathed heavily. "You did very well... I have something to learn from you." She whispered the words out and held her head low in respect, sorry for any damage she may have done. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempted to claw at face then lunged forward (to the best of her ability since she was slightly pinned) and strike Cliche's face with her teeth. Defense: None. Injuries: Sprained right hind paw, bruises on back and torn muzzle a little bit. |

| And the spar is completed! Alpha Teren watched both faes and judged them closely. After the third round was completed, he stared to the faes and barked for them to stop at once. It was then that he announced the winner:
