Kokoro stalked through Eden's Hollow, he was on a mission. This mission was a hunting mission and not his usual hunt for herbs. He was tracking a deer, he wasn't the best hunter though. So as he moved through the tree's following the scent and tracks of a doe, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. He stopped for a second to go check it out and noticed it was the bones of somebody else's kill. He couldn't tell if it were recent or not so he continued following the deer trail. Soon enough, he was standing in a small clearing next to a creek. The doe was just lowering its muzzle to the refreshing water so Kokoro took his chance. He flew through the air latching onto its flank and trying to injure it enough to slow its running but realized that it wasn't working. Although the deer had a bite mark on its flank it still ran. Kokoro chased after it silently. The deer would have to stop soon because of the summer heat, but so would Kokoro. The grey healer swerved into the shadows of thick tree's and ran through there trying to stay at a good distance. He already was noticing the deer slowing so he jumped out at it once more and latched onto its shoulder. He didn't dare loosen his grip until he felt he did good enough damage. He was prepared to make the last bite and kill it although he felt was to tired and couldn't work up the muscle to lunge at it. Finally he growled at himself and sent himself flying through the air. With a quick bite, he injured the throat making the deer unable to catch its breath or breath at all. Soon enough, after it struggled to keep going, it fell to the ground. It would be good to take back to the pack, he definitely couldn't finish it himself. He gave a small sigh and sat down next to the prey. He lowered his head and took a chunk in his teeth, he ate it happy and proud that he managed to kill the deer.
