Caila walked through Angels Wake, she had never seen anything more perfect then this. Every step she took was soft and steady. The grass was a perfect color green leading to the river. A nice cool breeze swept through her fur. "If only everywhere could be like this, it seems so magique magical." Caila trotted over to the river and dipped her head to the water. She drank some of the water then turned and continued walking through the valley. She flicked her ears around so she could listen to her surroundings. Caila found a nice and shady spot under a tree and lay down. She did not sleep but merely closed her eyes. She then lay her head on her paws and just lay there.

After laying for awhile she caught the scent of an hare. She lifted her head and looked the direction she smelled it, her stomach growled as she looked at the hare. Caila stood slowly and quietly, that hare was just what she wanted. She stalked forward silently until she was standing right behind it. She held her breath as she took one careful step closer then pounced. The hare didn't sense her coming until she was already on top of it. Lowering her mouth to its ear she whispered, "It is only for my life." she then closed her jaws around its neck and took its life.

Once she killed the rabbit she trotted over to where she had lay down before under the shade of the tree. She carried the rabbit over there and sat back against the trunk of the tree in the shade. As she sat there she ate her rabbit, not once did she become unfocused. If anyone was to come near her she would know. After she was finished she just sat and waited. She was lonely and wanted some company at least. That was one of the things that could make life less wonderful. She closed her eyes once more and just took in her surrounding. She felt that her senses were stronger when she took away the sense of seeing. Although she liked to see the beauty in everything, there was more in beauty then sights.

Caila heard the soft steps of another wolf, a scent washed over her telling her that she was safe. It was Helidos, "Bonjour, mon ami." the beautiful wolf sat up when she heard the wolf speak. Out of instinct she spoke french but shook her head and corrected herself. She knew most wolves did not know french, "Sorry about that, what I mean is 'hello my friend.'" she smiled, "Ouiyes we can talk, please sit." she dipped her head and smiled. Her voice was soft as she spoke, "I agree, the mountains are very beautiful. I love to run quite a bit too." she waited for the wolf to respond. Caila's hazel eyes scanned the wolf, hopefully this wolf could be her friend. Most of the time Caila was alone and had nobody to talk to, and nobody to hang out with. She was lonely, looking for somebody to love and someone to just be her friend and talk with her. Caila wagged her tail at the thought that this wolf could be her friend. Caila liked this wolf already, she just wanted to know how the wolf felt about Caila.

Caila smiled and nodded, "Yes, I speak French thank you. I am Warrior Caila, that idea sounds wonderful. It would be great to have a friend." She wagged her tail happy to have somebody to talk to. But suddenly Caila turned her head, feeling the sense of being watched. Soon enough she noticed another female coming towards them. Caila tilted her head, until she took in the scent. "Erenyx." she whispered and narrowed her eyes are the wolf coming. "Who are you? And, what do you want." her tail stayed low as she spoke, she calmed herself though. Trying not to get to worked up, staying calm would give her the advantage. The wolf would soon see that she would not be the one to mess with. Especially since she had her friend here too. Caila watched the wolf carefully, and was prepared if she dared come any closer. The wolf was pure black and compared to the females, she seemed like a onyx demon. Caila kept a confident face and lifted her head, she would show no weakness towards a mangy Erenyx bitch. She flashed her snow, white teeth. She wouldn't be afraid either, she just wondered how Rose would act. She was a warrior too, so she should also stand her ground. But, this was Caila's first time going face to face with Erenyx. So she wasn't so sure about Rose.
