A light mist covered the grass as the sun began to rise. The days are no colder and creatures have started to stay in their warm homes except, Nova. Gentle paws hit the ground as she moved silently along side a lake, holding her head high to check out her surroundings. I hope I'm heading in the correct direction.... Nova thought as she was getting near to an outlne of a forest. As Nova moved a bit closer, her nose picked up a few hints of a scent, which was unknown to her."Lets hope this will go well." Her blue optics looked upward towards the sky before she padded along into the forest. Her tail Flicked quickly to the side as the scent grew stronger and clear. Nova soon stopped as the scent was at its stronger point, sitting she tilted her head towards the side as she was unsure of what or who was behind that scent.

Yet another morning had come, and the eager Alpha had risen before the sun. As much as many wolves envied the high held position of Alpha, with it came many duties, and certainly not the leisure of sleeping the day away. Having given his darling Alphess a gentle lick on her maw, so as not to wake her, he slipped out into the crisp morning air. Repetition found him following the border of his pack, re marking scents, and ensuring that no threats loomed near their home. Helidos was far larger than his little pack of Maple Woods, and with more wolves to protect, came the need for extra diligence.

He trotted over the forests terrain, careful steps keeping his paws from harms way in form of jagged rocks and sharp sticks. His massive size did not grant him much speed, but he had come to terms with this long ago, and so remained at a leisurely jog. While he may not have been the fastest wolf around, his stamina was commendable. When a foreign scent lingered in the air, Fenris immediately focused his entire attention to finding the wolf who lurked along their borders and had not bothered to announce them self. When his eyes fell upon the fea who sat at the border line, looking rather unsure of herself. "Tis oft' considered rude not to announce oneself upon the threshold of another's home." he started, his tail sitting high above his back and his head held high as an Alpha's should. "Prithee tell what brings thee to my lands" he questioned the fea.

As she continued to ponder, strange voice interrupted her thoughts. Facing towards the direction Nova was about to defend herself when a wolf had stopped in front of her. She took a quick look observing that it was a brute and that he stood in a dominant position, coming to her conclusion that he must be important in a way. As the male spoke he Nova began to continued her think, but on a different subject. Purpose? Can't this brute see why I'm here...sighing, she dipped her head in respected manner, before speaking."My name is nova."she said,"I've come here from my journey in search of a pack and my nose have found a scent trailer that lead me here. " licking her muzzle, the fae flickered her tail as she stood on her white and brownish paw pads, with blue optics search to the sky. Somehow she could almost taste the sweetness flavor of pack life on her tongue as she lowered her eyes back down.

If Fenris were to describe the fea who stood before him in one word, it would be distracted. Her eyes wandered as if searching for something, though never lingering in one spot longer than a few moments. She wished to join the pack, very well, but she would need to be able to focus her wandering mind on the questions he had for her that would determine whether or not he would grant her a place among them, and if so, what position it would be. She did not seem to pose a threat, so the tired Alpha took the opportunity to recline onto his haunched, giving his legs rest from the taxing border patrols he had been doing, what seemed to be non stop as of late.

"Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance Lady Nova. My name is Fenris, Alpha of these lands alongside my mate, the Alphess Quinn. Helidos is always happy to welcome new wolves to our ranks, but first, I have but a few questions shoulds't thou truly wish to join us." he began, eyeballing the female for a moment or two to ensure he had her attention. "First, I must know of what talents thou doth possess, and where within thine passions lay. Second, I must inquire as to what cause thou had to leave thy pack and come in search of anew." he questioned her simply.

"Well to answer you first question, I have a talent for finding all different types of herbs and the methods of healing from them. Even though I had experience this skill for only two to three months." Nova spoke with a know move calmed, focus voice as she lowered to her haunches."The passion of healing had actually developed in ever since I have met a friend a longtime ago, who taught me the basic skills."her ears flicked foward quickly as she bopped her head slightly. Lingering for a bit she thought quick about Herra before snapping back to place."Excuse for that, Alpha I had a small flashback. But on to the second question, my old pack had simply died from disease, I and a few others were able to escape." the fae said with a quickly flick of her tail. As her eyes stayed focused on the brute before her.

So she was a healer, Fenris thought to himself. There was always room for more healers in their ranks. Quite honestly he did not believe healers got the respect they deserved, perhaps not in his pack, but in many others. They were looked down on, but in truth, were it not for them, the wolves of the pack would surely fall victim to injury and illness. Even if she only had a little experience as she had told him, there were other healers with far more experience that would train her.  He watched once more as she seemed to daze off into whatever world that played behind cerulean eyes. Perhaps she could find a wolf within the pack to help her with her focus too. He saw nothing wrong with a wolf who dared to daydream, or wander into the mythical land of what-if, but there were times, such as when in the face of those above your ranking, especially the Alpha, that focus was considered a courtesy.

Never the less, after having hear that her natal pack was taken from her at the hand of disease, he felt a pang of sympathy for her. "My condolences for thy loss m'lady. I too have lost those whom I care for. My birth pack dids't come to its untimely end at the hands of a winter colder than any I hath ever encountered. And then again, the loss of my last pack to flames that burned with the vengeance of a thousand hells. Tis no fate I wish upon any." he said, his voice becoming rough with grief that he swallowed down, taking a deep breath before continuing. "Thine talents fall quite splendidly beneath the rank of healer, which thou shalt receive, shoulds't thou wish, alas before I can bestow such a title upon the, thine allegiance, and thy oath to serve under the reign of myself and Alphess Quinn, is required."
