Korbin walked happily through the pack territories, he had came across this beautiful area of the lands. It was full of many maple tree's and seemed like a good place to find prey. Since Korbin was accepted into the pack as a hunter he felt the need to prove he could hunt. He slowly walked through the Grove looking for any prey and at last he saw something stir in front of him. The hunter dropped into a low crouch and slowly crept forward, just as a doe trotted into sight. He kept hid focus on the animal in front of him as he moved even closer, until he was close enough to pounce onto the deer. Korbin shifted all of his strength to his hind legs in order to pounce with enough strength to land a good blow on the animal. Soon enough he was flying through the air right at the doe. She looked up and froze, after a second she went to run, but it was to late. Korbin had already latched onto the deer and bit down with all of his strength on its shoulder. The deer tried to run and make Korbin let go, but each time the deer tried shaking him off, he would hold on even tighter. After awhile of holding onto the deer Korbin let go and slammed into a tree. The deer was injured so it was quite slower then usual, so Korbin had time to get back up and chase it down. He followed the scent trail and soon enough the deer was in sight. He sped up and ran around it until he was running next to it. With another quick pounce, he landed on the deer and made it stumble. That gave him time to grab its throat and end its life.

"Thank you for feeding our pack," he whispered before he killed it. Once the deer had stopped breathing he lifted his head to the sky and released a loud and clear howl, alerting that he had made a kill and if anyone wished to, they could come and eat with him. He didn't know if this pack did this like his old pack, when he was Guardian, did. Once he howled he opened up the deer and started eating. Once he had ate a small amount, that filled him, he stepped back and lay down. Korbin rested his head on his paws and closed his eyes, he was just resting and not exactly sleeping as he listened to the birds chirping around him. He waited for anybody to come, so he could meet somebody new and any of his packmates.

Crystal was awoken by the warm sunlight, streaming across her face as she slept inside her den near the entrance.She blinked a few times in the dazzling light and rising to her feet, she padded out into the warm sunshine and stretched. It had been awhile since, she had spent some time wandering through the Helidos territory. That particular day, she had decided to go to Brimstone Grove. Stretching once more, she turned round and headed off towards the Grove. As she padded along, she suddenly caught a scent, It was a scent of a male wolf, a Helidos wolf but not one that Crystal was familiar with.

Crystal quickened her pace and soon arrived at Brimstone. As she did so, she heard a howl and looking around, spotted a wolf in the distance and headed towards him, weaving her way through the trees. She approached the wolf who was a light colour and stopped close to him. She noticed the wolf had made a kill and realised that the howl had been one of invitation to join him. Placing herself in a submissive stance to show that she meant no harm, Crystal spoke to the wolf, who by now was resting near the kill, seemingly asleep. "Hello I'm Crystal, Do you mind if I join you?" she called out gently, maintaining a respectable distance so that she did not frighten the wolf.

When Korbin heard a soft voice he lifted his head, a female was standing at a safe distance. She introduced herself as Crystal, he sat up and looked at Crystal. "Hello, I am Korbin. No need to be submissive over me, I am new and only a hunter." he paused before speaking again, "Yes, you may join me." he smiled at the female, he could sense that she was another wolf of Helidos and he wanted to get to know her. He hoped that he could become friends with many wolves, and that he could even maybe get a mate, or just have a really close hunting buddy. But at this moment he had only met one wolf in the pack other then Delta Rose. Korbin was lost in thoughts about what life would be like in this pack, he felt good about this place. The Delta seemed very nice and so he hoped the rest of the wolves were nice.

He focused back on the female standing in front of him and smiled. She did not state her rank but the way she submitted showed that she was not of high ranks, but he still showed respect towards her. He stepped back and dipped his head signaling that she could have some of the deer. He would then sit back down and just watch her. He had nothing better to do at that moment so he would wait until she finished so he could talk or get to know her better.

[it is short but I am very distracted today]

Crystal waited nervously as the wolf watched her for a moment and then smiled at her, introduced himself as Korbin and allowed her to join him. "Thank you, I am a caretaker by the way. Nice to meet you." said Crystal as she moved towards him slowly and settled herself next to him. Crystal then took a step forward and began to eat. Once she had eaten her fill, she stepped back and sat next to Korbin again.

Crystal sat there for a few moments just lost in thought. Her thoughts were her memories of her dear friend Aurora and of the other wolves that she had met during her time in Helidos. Turning to Korbin, Crystal smiled at him and said " Well how long have you been with Helidos then Korbin? I myself have been here for nearly two years now." It was true, it had been nearly two years since the gray wolf had been accepted into Helidos and she was loving very minute of being in the pack. As she waited for Korbin's reply, Crystal was able to get a good look at him. He was really was a handsome wolf or so Crystal thought.

Korbin smiled at the she-wolf once more when she stated her rank and told him how long she had been in the pack. "I just joined today, it is an honor to meet you." he was about to ask her if she liked being in the pack but felt stupid for ever thinking of asking that. She would probably not be here if she didn't like it. He sat and thought for a moment about what his life would be like in this pack, then he turned to look at Crystal again. "I know this is random, but would you like to be friends?" he felt kind of embarrassed to ask her that but he thought she was a nice wolf and would make a great friend. He looked over to the deer and wondered if anyone else would come, he wanted to meet many wolves in this pack and be friends with them. But he would be glad as long as he wasn't alone anymore.

A small gust of wind sent a chill down his back, that snapped his attention back to Crystal, listening to her in case she spoke. He liked this wolf already, and felt like they could become good friends but that was all her choice. He curled his tail around his paws and waited for the other to speak. He knew he was in the pack lands but he also was listening to his surroundings in case another wolf wished to join them. He felt at home already, and knew this pack could very well be where he settles down for the rest of his life. He wanted this pack to be his last pack and knew that it was perfect for him. He just hoped what happened in his last pack would not happen in this pack.
