| A lone mexican wolf padded through the vast area, a gentle breeze flowing over his shining coat filled with different browns and creams, his large ears and golden amber orbs searching the area for any sign of hostility, or wolves. After a tiny, brief sigh, Bovinari took lazy, short strides as he moved slowly through the area. He was in search of food at the moment, his shiny, black nose at work as the wind carried scents to him. The male wolf, took a deep breath to taste the air, and quickly he perked up quite a bit more. He took one more scenting breath, knowing without a single doubt in his mind that what he smelled was really there. And fear struck his broken heart. The male did not appreciate the presence of other wolves and has not since that day moons ago... but this scent was different. The curious male carefully walked forward to get a better picture painted within his mind. He smelled the scent of many different wolves, and it held the message "Get out! Our territory!". Bovi was unsure of what exactly to do, so he eyed the sky as if an answer would fall like a raindrop to his head. After a moment the male decided to investigate the border a bit more, walking all around and on all sides of the scented area, testing it to see if it was indeed a pack as he thought, or just a temporarily stationary rogue group.
The male finally decided that it was ok, and that it was indeed a pack. Although he did not know quite how this pack would react to a loner at their border, he guessed that they'd be ok with talking. If anything he could always run. He sniffed the ground again, searching for any sign of blood. If a fight had happened recently, such as between a loner and a pack member, he'd scent the blood. It only took a few moments to deduce that there was not blood in the direct area, so the young male started to follow the border a bit, again searching for blood. 10 minutes later, Bovinari ended his search, deciding this pack was safe to talk to. And maybe join. He longed for the friendship and kinship he had had what seemed like years ago, and he figured he would be able to receive that from a pack. Now finished with his safety check, Bovinari stood by the border, the wind pushing his fluffy fur as he lifted his muzzle into a long howl, calling for a pack wolf to come see him. After a moment his head slowly reached its normal position, and he watched for anyone coming near.

| Rose's paws carried her forth from the camp clearing. Her tail swayed as she went to do something she found herself quite enjoying, the border patrol. She liked meeting the many new wolves that wished to be accepted into the pack. Her ears flicked with each step she took, one stride after the other. Her paws hardly touched the ground as she kept moving, body and tail swaying with every joyful step she took. Her heart was beating and her breathing was gentle, she decided to take it fairly slow today. She was always running but now she was going to try to take it easy and relax. A howl interrupted her thoughts and instantly threw her from taking it slow to running at her full speed. She let her own soft voice ring out in a responding howl. Her paws slid across the earth as she pushed herself forward in a quick run. Her tail swung behind her and she felt as if she could just jump for joy. She was in one of her best moods and as she neared the border, she slowed her pace and caught her breath. She let her tail swing neutrally between her legs and she hid in the shadows until she saw the he-wolf that had called her forth. Slowly, she approached with a smile upon her face. She sat down and curled her tail around her body and let it rest upon her front paws. "Hello fair stranger, I am Delta Rose of these lands known as Helidos. Whom might you be and is there anyway I may be able to help you?" She smiled and tilted her head ever so slightly to show she was curious. Her ears flicked slightly as she awaited to hear the male speak unto her. She swayed with the autumn wind that wove it's way through the woods they were in. Rose kept herself friendly, as that was all she could ever do to welcome another. Her amber eyes searched the brute in front of her, watching him carefully in case he may attack. She rolled her shoulders back and made sure she sat very still and straight, but relaxed to let the other wolf know that was of no harm to him. |

| Bovinari waited a moment, then suddenly heard a responding howl. His large ears twitched with curiosity, but he stood up tall and and stood his ground. He was not the friendliest of wolves, he didn't become friends with someone just by seeing them, but he wasn't completely cruel either. He was a bit stand offish, he didn't really like other wolves, with good reason. What had happened so long ago had a huge effect on the he-wolf. With his tail still nuetral, he waited for the wolf that had howled to show their face. After a few moments he watched with anticipation the she-wolf that approached him, his body language showing caution. He was prepared for any aggresion, be it words or a fight. He observed her seemingly friendly face as the she wolf smiled as she padded foward, and his ear twitched. As she got closer he took a deep, scenting breath, realizing that she smelled the same as the border marker. Part of the group that lived here, check. Now he wondered if she was among the higher ranks, and generally many question flowed through his mind as he looked her dead in the eyes. His own eyes were blank.
"Hello fair stranger, I am Delta Rose of these lands known as Helidos. Whom might you be and is there anyway I may be able to help you?" The she-wolf said, and he took in a few details. Rose was this wolfs name, the pack name or at least their lands name is Helidos, and she seemed quite friendly. Not at all like the rogue pack that... nevermind. He blinked once, then opened his maw to speak. "Hello Rose. My name is Bovinari. The only help I require would be to perhaps join this, Helidos? Thats the name, correct? Yes, I would like to join this pack, as I have none of my own." He stated calmly and nearly emotionlessly. He was slightly curious as to the details of the pack, although it would probably be best to state his purpose than to just ask questions about the pack. He could be an enemy spy for all they knew, and Bovinari did not want this pack to believe that. His large ears twitched again as a breeze blew by once more, but the young male did not seem affected all that much. |

| Rose was seated firmly against the chilling ground, her amber eyes dancing with joy as the male spoke. "Bovinari." She rolled his name off her tongue and gave a firm, approving nod. "Indeed, this pack is known as Helidos. I am sorry you do not have a pack of your home, but that is why we are here." She beamed proudly as her words rolled out of her maw and she let her eyes fall upon the male. "We are a home to any, paws and mind open to those whom come to our borders." She could tell he was a bit emotionless, no smile or anything that would give away a hint of emotion. She blinked her amber eyes and tilted her head in a quirky way. She let her words fall into silence, watching him with guarded eyes now. She was unsure, but a feeling she had told her that this would be one male that she would want to get to know over time. She huffed out a playful sigh and smiled gently at the male. "Well, I do need to ask a few questions before I can bring into these lands as a family member, a packmate." She tried to sound wise but her voice seemed almost pup-like as she teased the male with another smile. "I must ask... what skills can you offer to this pack? Can you fight? perhaps you are skilled in the ways of herbs, or maybe you can hunt?" She clicked her mouth shut as she finished speaking, her amber eyes searching the male. "Or perhaps you are best at smiling!" She added playfully, trying to get the male to relax and crack a smile. She licked her ebony nose and tilted her head to the left side, ears flicking forward as she awaited to hear his voice. She shifted and looked down at her paws as a leaf fluttered across, just barely touching her fur before rattling away. She blinked and slowly looked up, slightly embarrassed she had gotten distracted from the male. She listened closely to what the he-wolf would have to say, taking heed of every word he may use and if she could get him to break and maybe smile for her, even once. |

| Bovinari watched the females every move, not wanting to be caught off guard. "Bovinari." "Indeed, this pack is known as Helidos. I am sorry you do not have a pack of your home, but that is why we are here." "We are a home to any, paws and mind open to those whom come to our borders." The she wolf said, and Bovinari took her pauses as time to think over everything she had stated. She seemed to like his name, judging by her reaction after she had said it. He didn't quite understand why she was sorry that he did not already have a home, after all, wouldn't it be better if he didn't so he could join the pack? Or is the pack not that selfish? Hmm... Judging by the next statement, he figured there would be plenty of other ex-loners in the pack. He wondered how well his loyalties would be checked, being a loner.
"Well, I do need to ask a few questions before I can bring into these lands as a family member, a packmate." Question, well, better now than back at camp. It makes sense. Her voice to bother him a little bit, why did she sound so... puplike... Was she making fun of him? He wouldn't appreciate that, but he showed no outer emotion towards this thought. "I must ask... what skills can you offer to this pack? Can you fight? perhaps you are skilled in the ways of herbs, or maybe you can hunt?" The male nodded and was about to speak before she said, "Or perhaps you are best at smiling!" Bovinari appeared a little startled, blinking his eyes a few times. "Well, I am not excellent at smiling, but I am quite good with herbs. I was taught by my mother." He said, the left corner of his lip raising ever so slightly. He still stood tall and proud with his chest puffed out, but he seemed to have relaxed a bit since the she-wolf had appeared. One ear twitched once, but otherwise he stayed still, his gaze turning again hard and calculating.

| Due to the fact I am not feeling well, and it might be a while before I can reply a few more days, you may change your name to "Healer Bovinari" and request to join the Helidos group by clicking "Ranks" Up by the profile and requesting to join, however, if you do wish for the thread to continue, then maybe I can muster enough muse to write a reply when my headache stops.
Otherwise~ You have been accepted and may now roam both the neutral lands and the packlands! Welcome to Helidos and I hope you enjoy your stay! |
