| Rose had awakened quite early in order to prepare the idea of training someone. In her mind, she felt like she was too kind to push someones limits. She had been trained a long time ago and thus it was still her mind that she must find what skills are best for Aleu to train. She moved towards the middle of the camp clearing and than let her voice cry out in a howl to alert Aleu. "Bear-heart? ready to begin your training? Meet me in the Deathly Whisper Glade. That is where the challenges shall begin." Her paws shifted the earth as she made her way to the border, heart ringing in her ears. Her paws felt both strong and weak with the excitement of being able to train her little sister. Her tail flicked and her ears twitched as she listened for the paw-steps of her dear and young friend. As she entered the fog of the glade, her eyes would settle on what was in front of her, while her ears listened and her paws touched the chilling surface that was covered with icy waters. She jumped upon a large rock that let her peer slightly above the fog. Her tail wrapped around her body as she lowered herself to a sitting position. She breathed in silence and let her mind swirl with what exactly they would be doing. She could spar with Aleu, but instead she felt the need to increase the young she-wolf's skills. The fog would help her to teach the young bear-heart how to use the grounds vibrations and to listen when not being able to hear. The vibrations of paw-steps could easily tell if the opponent was on higher ground or lower. Using that information would always give a good advantage when hunting prey or in a fight. While she thought upon the skills that could be taught, she also thought about the things that could easily happen by mere accident. With the icy waters, the fog, it was possible that both of the she-wolf's would leave with a few scratches or bruises. Aleu is very brave, if she plans on fully returning to the pack named Erenyx, than she will need to be planning ahead and even training herself so she may survive. I just hope that she will always trust in herself to make the right choices. She thought quietly to herself as she awaited for the young fae to answer her call. |

| Sprawled out across the corner of her adopted parent's den Aleu would have more than happily slept in today just as she did any other, having never exactly been a 'morning wolf' as the adults would call it. However it would seem most of the adults in the pack were the more morning types, as Aleu was ripped from her sleep by the nearby howl, and the words that followed. Slowly rolling onto her stomach the pup would groan, taking a minute to process the words that met her ears before a sleepy grumble would leave her muzzle "Why is it always the morning...why doesn't training start at the crack of noon." she would mutter to herself, taking a few more long seconds to gain the motivation to pull herself from bed. Slowly dragging herself forward from the den the young apprentice would slowly follow her mentors trail out to the training grounds, not wanting to waste the time hunting for a fresh kill, and far too picky to eat from the cold kill pile. Aleu couldn't quite explain it, but there was some satisfaction to be taken from catching your own food, almost as if it tasted better to have earned it yourself, to taste the fresh blood on the tongue. Often she wondered if that's what it felt like to kill a wolf as well. But Aleu knew if she trained hard enough she would soon find out on Teren himself.
Slowly Aleu would follow the fresh tracks through the snow until the familiar silhouette of her mentor came into view, a little smile coming to the apprentice lips as she barked to the older fae "Why must we be up so early bear-butt? Can't we train at night?" she asked, her tone making it clear she was joking... mostly. With no more hesitation the young pup would move to stand just in front of the Delta, her breath splashing forward in a puff of white as the bitter morning air sunk into her fur, which was still matted and dirty from the den floor. While the crisp air did a lot to force the fae from her slumber it was clear she wasn't fully awake yet as her eyes hung half open, lacking the usual energy the pup displayed and making her appear almost zombie like. |

| ((OOC- Sorry, late reply...))
Rose heard the young fae approach and speak. A loud laugh rolled off her tongue as she listened to the complaint. The fog swirled around her, making her feel comfortable with the thought of disappearing with the white that surrounded them. She would wait for the she-wolf to get settled, and then her sweet voice would speak. "It is in the morning that our muscles train best. From here on out, you will awake at dawn and be going on short runs around the camp clearing before joining me in your training." She tried to sound stern, but instead she sounded soft spoken. "What we are doing today, is testing your senses." She leaped down and walked around the young fae, flicking her tail towards her in an attempt to spook her. "We will run through the icy waters and the deep fog, avoiding sharp rock and the occasional echoing sound of the great bear-butt chasing you! Every step you miss, I shall also miss." She commanded slowly, making sure her words were clear. Her eyes danced and she stood beside the she-wolf. "When we make it across these lands, then we shall return home and you may rest, alright?" her tail flicked and she stood tall, chest out with her shoulders rolled back and her head held high. She wanted to see Aleu do the same, be very confident and maybe a bit cocky. She figured once the young bear-hearts senses were used to moving in places like this, then Aleu could easily avoid attacks and land a few without getting hurt too badly. Of course the white fae still had some issues when facing a large wolf, but she didn't give up in a spar. To her, any spar could be a life or death situation and you had to face those facts in order to make it. Her paws shifted into the cold hard ground that they stood upon, her tail flicked back and forth as she awaited to hear the response from the young fae. She was beaming with excitement and worry. She didn't want to hurt the young bear-heart, but she also wanted her to be ready to face the world. Deep in Rose's mind, she knew that Aleu could take on any force if the fae put her whole heart, body and mind into it. That's how she felt about everyone, if they just believed... then it would be possible to do it. Though she greatly hoped no evil would corrupt those thoughts and put it to bad use. I believe in you, young bear-heart. She thought quietly to herself, a small smile crossing her maw. |

| Aleu would listen to her mentor speak and groaned out loudly, more than willing to make her complaints vocal to her mentor, although it was clear by how much she fought them the pup intended to obey every word she was given. While she wasn't fond of mornings Aleu was more than honored to train with Rose, and was honestly curious to see how her training here would compare to the brutality that was her mother's technique. "Dawn..." the pup muttered under her breath, pouting for a moment as she nodded slowly "Yes Bearbutt." she said reluctantly. As the mention of today's lesson came to topic the pup would perk up, watching the fae circle her slowly as she explained what they would be doing. As the Delta flicked her tail towards the pup Aleu would only cock her head in confusion. The pup had lived a life not that long ago where having improper posture while being spoken to would earn her a firm nip to the neck, and bleeding was a daily event of training, it would take something far worse than a tail to the face to make her flinch. At the end of the instructions the pup would giggle "Okay, I think I can manage that. And rest already? Oh right, I guess you are old and need a breather. Okay grandmother Bear-butt, just let me know if I'm going to fast for you and I'll slow down." the pup taunted, fairly certain that even after a few months away from her mother's tortures and a few days in the healer's den she would be more than capable of completing this run.
While Aleu had taken a short break from training she was still in great physical condition. Katyusha hadn't been the best mother, but she had made sure her daughter would be capable of standing on her own as soon as possible, knowing each day with Teren around may be her last she put every minute into preparing her only daughter to survive, so much so they had almost no relationship beyond surviving and training. But now Aleu knew she was ready for this, she knew if she could survive the horrible things her mother had her doing she could train her hardest with Rose, become as strong as she could be and complete her mission. Aleu moved up beside the Delta confidently, ears pinning back as she pushed her paws into the snow until they came to a solid surface to ensure she wouldn't slip on the start. Turning her head up to the older fae Aleu would give a confident smirk "Ready when you are...Bear-butt." she smirked, turning her eyes to the foggy trail ahead of them and bracing herself to start, making it her personal goal to show Rose just what she was capable of. She was the daughter of an alpha after-all. She had to impress. |

| Rose bubbled with excitement as she listened to the young she-wolf. Her ears perked forward as she listened to the younger fae speak. Her words surprised her and she laughed with joy. "I am not that old!" She grumbled under her breath, just loud enough for the she-wolf to hear her. She slowly shifted so that they would be ready to take off running at full speed. "Go!" She snapped her jaws towards the young she-wolfs hind leg and then they would take off racing. Her paws dug into the ground, shoulders shifting to lower her body down to the ground. The heavy fog grew and would almost completely blind them except for what was in front of them. She was only going to be chasing the fae, that way she could move up to the side and snap, push, and shove. She knew Aleu was used to harsh training and since that's what she was used to, Rose would do her very best to do the exact same. She would concentrate on the figure in front of her as they would move forward. Her heart raced and she could only think of her own training, her own mentors that taught her. She felt strong from the memories and gave a short burst of speed to come up alongside the fae as they moved forward. She pushed forward and attempted to throw her shoulder to graze against the younger she-wolf. She would then see if she landed the blow, if she did, she would take her place back behind the fae, letting a loud snarl escape her maw. If she had missed, she would circle around the large rocks and then land back to her place behind Aleu. Her tail flicking as she plotted it all out within her mind.
"Run Rose!" She darted forward, trying to keep up with the large brute in front of her. Dodging the same things he did, the fog making it harder on her as she tried to chase her mentor. "Wait for me!" She huffed out the words and then watched as the beast took another large leap forward, disappearing into the fog and making her rely on her own senses. Suddenly she felt a small nip around her hind leg, twisting to see the brute disappear into the fog. Her heart pounded and she whined, being circled and poked by her mentor. She was scared and as the ebony male shoved her forward and disappeared again, she bolted forward with great speed. She dodged around rocks, scraping her shoulder against a few and sometimes tripping and sliding across the ice. She kept getting up, running for her life because her mentor scared her this training session. Her heart raced, her mind throbbed with thoughts. She cleared the fog after a bit of wandering around, cautiously she turned to see if her mentor would emerge from the fog. "Help!" She heard his cry of help, nothing stopped her now. She raced in the direction of his voice that let out a long howl. Her paws bled from tearing on the ice, her body was covered in blood, but not just hers. She plunged into freezing waters, a gasp escaping her maw as she went under to grasp the large brute by the scruff. She pulled until the ice was back under her paws, dragging the brute up and away from the water with all her might. She shivered and the brute breathed slowly, heaving himself upon his paws and leaning against the small fae. She helped him make it out of the fog and into some dry grass, where the sun shined brightly. "We won't train like that again, I'm sorry Rose." She only breathed, nodding slowly before rolling in the grass and laying beside the large brute to help them both be warm.
She snapped out of her train of thought, still moving forward at a decent enough pace to keep up with the she-wolf. She would give another shove, from behind in an attempt to throw off her footing. She didn't want to injure the fae badly, but she wanted her to have such a strong stance that she couldn't be thrown off unless she wanted to be. "Keep going!" She would bark out in a stern tone, trying her best to be what Aleu needed. But her voice still sounded sweet and gentle, maybe even funny when she was acting stern. She thought about her own training and she was truly glad that her training with Aleu wouldn't be as dangerous. Her tail flicked to keep her balance, paws grinding into the ground to keep herself steady. She truly expected Aleu to return a few snaps and shoves, surely Rose would do the same if she were currently in Aleu's position. The white fae smiled weakly as she would try to keep her amber eyes on the fae. |

| Aleu felt her muscles twitch in anticipation, her mind determined to show her mentor just how much training she had received under her mother's brutal regime. While it was true she would be as good as when she first arrived the pup had done the best she could to keep up on her training herself, and while it would be impossible to push herself as hard as her mother had she had certainly not taken things easy. How could she with the final goal being Teren's demise? As the mighty Bear-butt spoke again Aleu would chuckle "Whatever you say Grandma." she said, honestly hoping to get in her head a little bit before blowing her away.
At the word go Aleu would slam her herself forward as hard as she could, claws catching the ice and snow below them to throw up the loose footing as her slender lanky form shot forward into the fog. Aleu paid little attention to the handicap on her sight as the pair bolted down the path, her mind racing as she processed every obstacle and correction she would have to make in this race, her eyes darting left and right every few seconds to observe all she could in the hidden landscape. For as young as she was the small fae would be quite fast, party because while being almost full grown in height she hadn't yet bulked up as most of the adult wolves had, leaving her with a long stride and more energy to propel the lesser mass of her form. This benefit however would show it's downside as the adult pushed herself against Aleu's side, causing her back legs to slip out from under her for just a moment.
With the sudden jolt taking her by surprise Aleu would feel her form twist to put more weight onto her front paw to compensate, the large pad digging into the ground below to shove her firmly across the trail as a large tree came into view just in front of her. Deciding to show off a little bit Aleu kept her full speed spring straight at it, cutting across the trail just in front of Rose to turn hard so she would come into the tree almost parallel to the trail they had followed. Jumping off the snowy ground Aleu would plant her back paws firmly on the trunk and kick off, propelling her hard at her mentors shoulder, hoping her mental calculations would be correct and send her shoulder firmly into the other's, ensuring she wouldn't hit hard enough to cause any real damage to either, but certainly enough to knock one or both of them off their paws for a moment on the slick surface. |

| Rose could only see directly in front of her, so it surprised her when the she-wolf disappeared into the fog. Her paws kept pounding against the cold earth and her mind was searching for the fae. She felt a heavy weight slam against her, instantly she shoved her own weight against the other she-wolf and let her paws scrape against the ground. She twisted to look at the fae with a bit of surprise, surely that would have knocked anyone off their paws. Rose was only lucky to react fast enough, something that small wolves had in them. She chuckled and nipped at the she-wolf playfully. "Use that tactic against a large wolf, aim your teeth at the possible throat area and you are sure to win." She shifted and stumbled, tripping over the pup and landing on her side with a laugh. Gently she would stand and nudge the fae with her nose. "We are almost finished, just a bit more... how about, since you can keep your ground, a race? Whoever gets to the end first, gets to give an order to the other that must be followed?" She turned and started her pace slowly to give the she-wolf a chance to catch up and pass her if wanted. She would hear what the fae had to say and then she would start going at a faster pace. Her tail swaying to help gain balance, her ears moving forward to check for any creatures that may find them. She had no intentions of being the winner as it made her curious exactly what the fae might order her to do. Perhaps run around declaring that Bear-heart had beat her in a race? Or maybe something more exciting and silly. She stretched her legs out in front of her, flying across the earth in a decent pace. Once Aleu was in front of her, she would try and match the young faes pace. Her heart was racing with pleasure, she enjoyed training another and was surprised to find that she could learn many things from her 'student'. She had always thought the teacher was the one whom knew everything, so perhaps she had taught her mentors as well. She smiled weakly, pleased with the idea of moving forward at a decent pace. She was ready to learn more from Aleu, certainly that trick could be used for others as well. Yes, Aleu had started something that made Rose wonder and try to figure who all she could learn from, and whom she could teach. |

| As the full force of her weight slammed into Rose the lanky apprentice would run into a small flaw with her strategy, the landing. With her form crashing into the moving form of a much larger wolf Aleu would bounce back from Rose, falling onto her haunches and rolling back as she came to a rest on her back. Taking only a quick second to re-orient herself Aleu would roll onto her stomach and slam off with her paws again, just as her mentor nipped at her flank once more. Without missing a beat Aleu would push herself as hard as she could still, though not quite fast enough to outpace Rose. With the Guardians advice Aleu made a quick mental note, knowing Rose was right of course. Such an attack would be rather ineffective against a wolf with quick reflexes such as Rose, who hadn't come out of the encounter any worse off than Aleu, who definitely needed to work on her landings. But on a bigger, bulkier wolf a quick attack like that would knock them off balance and allow her a quick blow and a chance to escape, and if she could muster such a quick blow to the neck, it could mean a quick fight in general. As the Guardian spoke Aleu once again the small apprentice would pay careful attention, a broad grin coming to her muzzle once the challenge was laid out "You're on Bear-butt...I just hope you're ready to lose!" the pup yipped, jumping excitedly once next to the older fae. As Rose slowed her pace Aleu would push herself up to Rose's side, keeping pace with her before she barked out "Ready! Set!...Go!" she would yip happily. At the last word the small fae would lower her head, ears pinning back as paws beat at the ground, trying to propel herself forward as fast as possible, and with this now being a race Aleu didn't expect Rose to deliver anymore blows. The only thing going through the pup's mind was Faster. She didn't know what she would use the command on. It didn't matter if she had no use for it at all, she simply had to win it. Rose got to give her a hundred-thousand-million commands a day, so another one would simply be a wasted gamble. But to Aleu a single command was a treasure trove of power! This was an undeniable fact and Aleu simply could not let such an opportunity go to waste. |
