| Emily had just been accepted. And yes, she was grateful. The former Erenyx fae could imagine that, coming from such a pack with a bad reputation, she would be placed in a low rank. She could learn to cope with it... right?
Not likely. She was extremely down. She hadn't seen Noble yet, and began to doubt that he even moved packs in the first place. The rumors were probably false, she should've stayed in Erenyx and kept her rank. At least then she could be noticed as something and not a pile of crap that everyone would soon stare down at pitifully.
The now omega was wandering around, trying to get a sense of the territories that were her new home. Maybe Helidos would have been more accepting... if only Noble hadn't moved... she could've tried to meet him in Helidos. God Forbid he try to move to Erenyx. Such a wonderful personality, such a sweet soul, would be destroyed in the treacherous pack ruled by Alpha Teren. They nearly sucked the light right out of Emily too; the terror of getting caught doing something wrong and being punished for it was like a stormy cloud that hung over her infinitely.
What she really needed was a friend. Clearly, Fel wasn't an option. If only she could see Noble. Just get a glance of him and realize that everything was going to be alright... That's what she needed.
She knew the chances of ever seeing the male again were slim, but she still hoped. Now, wandering the territories, she found herself standing beside a river. Behind her was a wall of trees and under her paws was soft green grass coated with the early morning frost. Glancing at the river again, she realized that it was frozen over. Sighing, she laid down in the frost covered vegetation and let the warmth of her body melt the coldness into water, which clung to her obsidian fur and seeped into her skin. She enjoyed it, after such a hot summer. This is what she was built for, the coldness of difficult conditions. She was a wolf after all, and wolves are the toughest creatures on Earth. She was completely on her side, face and all, and she only changed the position of her head to get a look at things. Moving her neck so that she appeared to be nodding on the grass, she took in everything around her. So beautiful... she thought. |

| Noble's breath let out a warm sigh and then his shoulders dropped as he walked along the edge of territory that was now his new home. He had met with the Elite days before, also a Warrior that he could not recall the name of. His blue gaze shifted and his ears flicked forward. He was lost in thought and yet he could only wrap his mind around one continuous thought. A large yawn escaped his maw making him shudder as the cold wind nipped at him. His tail swished and slowly he realized that he was lost. He breathed in the fresh scents and growled quietly to himself as he pushed forward through thick woods. His body swayed and his heart pounded as he took in his surroundings. He was still within his pack, that was all he really knew. His paws crunched against the cold ground with firm steps. His ebony fur was just a blur among the trees as he moved quickly in one direction that he thought would take him back to the camp clearing so he may retrace his steps. He had remembered doing almost the exact same thing when he had met the brown fae with green eyes. He slowed his steps as he exited the forest. His eyes set on a figure that he knew instantly whom she was. "Has Erenyx lost a beautiful fae? And Agavos has clearly gained the best Caretaker. Am I correct?" He stepped forward so the fae would be able to fully see him. "Emily, how have you been my dear?" His blue gaze tried to meet hers in search of comfort and to see if she was alright. His tail flicked and he brushed against her, pressing his muzzle against her with a soft passion. His blue eyes studied the smaller figure and he wanted nothing but to protect her with all his might. His shoulders shivered as a cool breeze ripped through the forest. His breath came out slowly and he was all ears for the only she-wolf in his life that had captured his heart with love. His mind twisted around the ideas of why she would be so down. |

| As soon as she heard his voice, it was all it took to get her heart rampaging with delight and nerves at the same time. She couldn't deny the joy that she felt, and she allowed the smile to etch it's way onto her maw. Lifting her head to look at the source of the beautiful sound, she rested her eyes upon Noble. His words sent a sharp pang of guilt - sadness - that she was no longer a caretaker. Now an omega, she felt that she could be open with Noble, however, regardless. But saying she was the best caretaker even though she had never even met a pup before, her smile widened once more.
"Noble," she said, pleased as his name rolled off her tongue like honey. "I wish I could say that yes, I am still a caretaker. However, I'm not. Elite Fel accepted me at the border, and she thought that I was an Erenyx spy... until I could prove myself otherwise, I am to remain as an omega..." She couldn't say that she enjoyed her new title. His compliments were so kind, and she wished that she could return the gesture. She rolled from her side and got to her feet. Seeing him shiver, she walked to his side and stood next to him, offering what little heat she had. It was up to him whether he wished to lean into her, however, because there was still an inch of space between their two pelts.
She beamed at him. "I've been sorta down, actually. But now that my suspicions have been confirmed that you moved packs, I can say that I am quite delighted that we are together, finally. It seems like ages since I've last seen you! How have you been, oh so Noble wolf?" She smirked as she played with his name as she did at their last meeting.
She stared into his deep blue eyes with pleasure, finding comfort in them as she remembered from memory what he had looked like. Thoughts swirled in her mind as she waited for his reaction, glee pulsing through her veins as easily as the blood did. |

| Noble listened to the sweet voice that rang out to him. His blue eyes danced until he heard the words that she spoke. He frowned and a low growl rumbled in his chest. He shook his head and leaned against the smaller figure that now stood beside him. He twisted his head and nudged the back of her neck before resting his head against her shoulders. His blue eyes shut tightly before opening again and moving to stand in front of the beautiful fae. He pressed his nose against hers and then looked deeply into her emerald green eyes. "Oh my dear Emily, Omega's aren't so bad and if you'd like, I'll march right on up to the Alpha and demand to be made an Omega with you!" He teased lightly and chuckled, a deep rumble escaping from deep within his chest. "Oh Emily, Omega isn't that bad and I'm sure it won't be for much longer. Besides, you could be below Omega and I'd still love you so much." He looked away slightly, embarrassed that he had spoken so freely. He was a wolf of little words, but with her... he always felt like rambling. He listened to her speak and he smiled at how simple she always seemed. Simply beautiful in every use of each word. "I have been... aging, as usual. And you?" He went back to the sweet silence that he had become so used too. His ears flickered and finally he moved, walking around the she-wolf in a full circle. His tail flicked to brush against her and a teasing grin came across his maw. He dropped down in front of her, rolling onto his back and batting a paw in the air as if to say "C'mere" without actually speaking. He closed his eyes and breathed in the chilly air, pondering about his life and how he could be so blessed to have found such a wonderful fae. He honestly wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but he was willing to wait to ask her to be his mate so she may be comfortable around him and their new pack. Funny how we came from different packs, rival packs, and yet we fell in love so easily... He thought in silence, his blue eyes refusing to open until the she-wolf spoke to him. He knew she probably had a lot on her mind, and he had some questions of his own that he wanted to ask. But finding the right time to ask them was a whole another story to him. A happy sigh escaped his maw and slowly he opened his eyes to watch the she-wolf with curious blue eyes. |

| She watched his orbs light up after she finished speaking, and she looked at her paws briefly, shyly. When she looked up again though, they dipped into a sadder look, a frown on his maw. She heard his growl and knew it wasn't of anger, but simply sorrow or maybe something else she just couldn't place. He shook his head and she sighed with relief as he leaned into her, and she copied him so they were both carrying each other's weight. He was a bit bigger than her, but she was happy regardless. She was so joyous that she didn't mind the extra weight.
Then he turned his head and gave her neck a gentle push before resting it on her back, right above her shoulders. She smiled, happy that he was so freely going about their meeting. She couldn't see his face entirely, but she felt the muscles in his bottom jaw squeeze as if he were making an expression, but she just couldn't tell what. Then he moved in front of her once more. Her eyes lit up when he pressed his nose against her own, and she smiled as he stared into her eyes. His words were so kind, she completely forgot about the entire ordeal about being an omega. She laughed quietly as he teased her, and she listened to his own humorous sound from deep within him. "I can agree Noble that you are a better caretaker than I am. Besides, I don't blame Fel for wanting to put me in a lower rank. I was foolish enough to leave my trail from Erenyx straight here. I might start a war," she half-joked. She beamed at his words once more, giggling when he looked away, embarrassed.
She rolled her eyes. Still aging? Doesn't everybody do that? she thought, internally laughing. "Well, as I said, I've been better. I can only bet it will get better though, however I don't know why. It's just a feeling that I trust for some reason." She looked at her paws again, realizing how stupid she must have sounded. But she felt his tail brush her own and she snapped back to attention. She watched as he finished completing a circle around her, and she took note of the goofy grin that came onto his face. She narrowed her eyes playfully, only to see him drop and roll to his back, exposing his stomach. He batted his paw in the air just inches from her maw, and she laughed, beaming. She attempted to pounce on him, of course without hurting him. If she missed, she would go rolling away from him, in a fit of giggles. If she landed the play-attack, she would crouch over him, only to fall onto her side and letting her forelegs splay over him.
She watched as his eyes closed and then opened again, and she smiled. "Do you ever feel like sometimes we never have anything to talk about, yet we can sit here all day in silence and have the greatest time. And hear me out, I don't mean it in that way." She smiled, only imagining what he would've thought she meant. Maybe another time.... She shook her head, immediately dismissing the thought. Not yet.
They had only met twice now, yet she was certain he was the one. It seemed too fast, but she was content at the same time. She bared her fangs in a happy grin, awaiting his reply. |

| Noble listened to her speak, but he kept his silence. He raised his brows as if to question exactly what she had meant with her words. His muscles relaxed and he simply nudged her shoulder, curiously seeking her face as he did so. The fae's fore-paws had splayed over him and he honestly didn't mind that she had playfully pounced upon him. A small grin crossed his maw and he had simply nodded. He let out a deep sigh, letting his thoughts consume him instead of fully answering the beautiful she-wolf. His ears flicked and he shifted to rest his paws against her chest if she would allow him. He could understand if she pushed him away, but he wanted to be as close to her as possible with reasonable distance for comfort. His icy gaze shifted from the fae to his surroundings. Ironically, the place was almost like the neutral lands that they had originally met on. He followed the crispy cool crass with his chilling gaze, searching and seeking the area as if it were a place he had been before.
He gazed at the waters edge, wondering exactly how cold it was. He didn't want to find out, nor did he want his dearest to fall in. He sighed and licked his maw, turning his gaze unto the emerald hues he soon found himself mesmerized by. Layer upon layer, the green captured him and he refused to look away. It was like a field of spring grass with open skies and the sun pouring it's love upon the ground. He searched her eyes but found no other hue mixed within. He was enchanted and couldn't even find the words to describe her beauty. Slowly, he managed to pull his gaze away from her eyes and onto her face. He studied every detail, the way her ears were and the charming jawline she had. Her fur held mainly black and then dark shades of brown. A small white spot on her chest that made her look more like a princess. He took a deep breath and then slowly let it out, his icy gaze seeking her face once more.
"Silence. It can be the most wisest of words, the most dearest of memories and yet the worst of all tragedies." He finally spoke after all that time in seeking to learn the area and the fae he was with. He could only hope that his words would make sense to her. "I did not think anything bad..." He chuckled and leaned over, nuzzling her nose with his own. He closed his eyes in peace, breathing in and out was all he could do. His tail curled against the ground as he lay with the she-wolf. "Soon, we shall return to the camp where it will be much warmer and comfortable." He nodded and opened his eyes, looking about him as clouds slowly gathered. The ground was getting colder and he knew that meant it would be snowing again. His tail thumped against the ground in a wag, his ears flicking forward as he prepared to listen to what she would say.
The way the she-wolf was so warm compared to the weather around them made him seek more comfort from her then he had ever done before. He felt so close to her, he felt as if he could trust her with his whole heart and yet he felt foolish for loving again. He had lost his son, now he was madly in love. It would be different this time, he would protect her with all his heart, body, and mind. He couldn't find the words to ask the things on his mind and so silently he thought. I'll ask soon. With those thoughts, he hunkered down and simply rested beside her. He couldn't wait to tell the pack of his happiness that he had found. Though he didn't know the Alpha well, he had become fond of the Elite, holding his highest respects to the both of them. |

| ((I'm sorry, so crappy, but there's this glitch on my computer that refreshes a page everytime I switch tabs, so I kept losing it. Long story short, Alpha Desmond said that we could do a continued thread off of this one and post it in the Alpha den and ask if they could officially be mates.))
He nudged her shoulder and she looked at him again. Her paws laid over him and then he moved a little bit, and her paws shifted now across his chest. She stared at them as they splayed upon the wolf that she had found and now adored, too deep in thought to move. She looked back up at him, wondering if she thought that she would push him away. She tilted her head a little bit, thoughtful. She followed his eyes to the water, and immediately shivered. She could only imagine how cold it was, and she did not want to take a swim in it, unlike their first meeting.
His words about silence and bad thoughts made her both laugh and feel extremely thoughtful. She chuckled with him, and suddenly stopped as he rubbed his nose against hers. She half-smiled and stared into his eyes, completely content. She briefly nuzzled him back. Going back to camp sounded nice, and she nodded. "Okay, we can go." And then she lit up, her green eyes dancing. "Noble. You know that I love you. I know that you love me, I feel it," she said. "I think that we will do amazing things together, and I want to close that gap between us. I'm sure that you are the one, and I've never felt this way about anyone. I know this is sudden, and this is completely up to you, but I want to be your mate. I'm sure about you, and if I am correct, you're sure about me. I don't know much about your past love life, but I've never had one, so maybe this is just a false feeling for me, but you've loved before, right? Tell me if this is true."
She felt so happy that her words were just a speedy flow, like rapids in a river, and she was finally keeping her gaze steady upon him. She watched him carefully, still positive and giddy with joy. She giggled a little, awaiting his reaction. With a beam on her face, her forest green orbs stared into his icy blue ones |

| Noble was amazed, the way she moved and spoke to him. Every word made his heart pound louder then before. He flicked his tail and a small smile crept upon his maw. "My dearest Emily, I have loved no other besides you." His icy gaze sparkled as they met her emerald hues, he slowly stood and twisted to look towards the camp clearing. "You are correct, the days have been both long and short, nights have stars but they do not shine without you. I am honored you want to be my mate, and shocked that you could ask before I was able. I was planning later this evening to ask you, but now I see that any time is welcoming to you. I love you, I love you so much and I want you to be my mate as well." He huffed out a large sigh and nuzzled her before twisting and moving forward towards the camp clearing. His eyes went back and forth slowly as he now made his way through the very woods he had gone tumbling through like a clumsy fool. He was head over paws in love, though only met a few times before, he had chosen her to be his from the start. "You know, you can't choose who you fall in love with, but I am glad I fell so hard for you." He let his voice ring out very loud as he moved forward, glancing back to see if she was following him. He could feel his broken wounds healing, the hurt that he felt for Callek, it slowly washed away and he could do nothing but beam with pride. Though, he knew the wounds would reopen one day, but today... he was just as happy as he could be.
