| ((This is a continuation thread from Days Past, so this will take place as Noble and Emily are walking back to the pack clearing from Pangae's Gully))
It was a slow pace, but she was happy with it. Next to her was the male she had fallen in love with over a small space of time, but she was extremely sure about Noble. It was a simple trot, and every footstep was in sync with his, unless he chose to break it. She couldn't help but press her side to his, just because it felt right, but if he moved away, she wouldn't mind. Her mind spun as the truth set in: she and Noble could be mates this very day, so their Alpha chose to allow it. She kept mumbling to herself, "I'm very sure. I'm absolutely certain." And she was. She didn't have a doubt in her mind that this wouldn't work out. Her eyes continually flicked upward to glance at the obsidian caretaker with anxiety in her eyes. What would happen if the Alpha declined the request? What would she do without him? She knew the chances were slim, but she kept thinking of the worst scenarios in her head to have a back-up plan for anything that went wrong. This had to work, and she didn't care what it took to do it.
-Enter Pack Clearing-
She continued to remain close to Noble, even if they weren't touching, depending on what he decided. Tossing anxious glances around, landing on nothing in particular, she neared the den with her love by her side. She stopped outside, coming to as graceful of a stop as she could muster. Prancing in place on nervous paws, she glanced at Noble, hoping he would know the name of the leader of Avagos, for she had not the slightest clue. She quickly readjusted her stance so that she was in a submissive position, and she plastered her ears to her skull as her stomach now brushed the ground beneath her lowered body. If he answered for her, she would've sighed and laughed quietly at herself. If Noble didn't know either, she would've sighed and gave it her best shot: "Alpha? Forgive me for not knowing your name, but I am a new member in your pack... Omega Emily? Elite Fel accepted me at the border... I am here with Caretaker Noble... We have an important matter to discuss..."
((LOL! I was SO not sure how to do this, so I gave it my best shot. If anything is wrong with it, I can edit it at anytime this morning, but I am currently on vacation, and if it sits there I apologize.))

| Noble had fallen behind the ebony she-wolf with emerald green eyes. His pace was steady but his heart pounded as if it would jump from his chest. His icy blue gaze stayed upon the figure in front of him. She was only slightly in front of him, but they walked closely together as if they had been knit together from the start. His ears roved forward as he listened to her speak quietly to herself. He was amused at how nervous she seemed, but he also felt nerves racing through his blood. He couldn't bring forth any words, only thoughts that echoed his silence. He blinked slowly as they entered the Alpha's den. His blue eyes instantly hit the ground and he took a stance of submission. His ears pressed against his skull and his tail dropped further between his hind legs. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He rolled his shoulders back, lowering his head ever so slightly. "Alpha Desmond? We do not mean to disturb you, Emily is correct, we are here to ask something important." His voice was shaky as he spoke. He wasn't used to speaking, and he had only really talked with Emily. He was unsure, but he felt the need to reassure the she-wolf's brave words. He knew the Alpha may deny them, but he could only hope that their love was strong enough to be seen and approved by the Alpha. His gaze did not lift to search the den for the Alpha, instead he simply grew silent and hoped that Emily would have enough sense to submit at least somewhat. He knew that some Alpha's refused to be seen unless they had been showed respect, not really knowing who Desmond was personally, Noble wanted to be cautious on the way that they approached him. His chest felt like it was going to pound away, his heart beating within. He listened closely, awaiting an answer from either Emily or the Alpha. He was concerned and yet fully overjoyed at the same time. |

| Due to the fact that this was started on the FIRST day of spring, it cannot be a continuation from your previous post. The season has changed and I will be replying as if it was Spring, no longer Winter. |

| It was not the rise of the morning sun which had woken the sleeping wolf, nor the change in the seasons. It had been a bad dream, a terrible dream. In his mind, he relived the horrors which forced him into this life. In his mind he was unable to escape his past. He was forced to relive it almost every time he had closed his eyes. The Alpha, once Rogue, moved from the den and wandered from his territory. Part of him thought to leave the pack astray, to never return. But as he thought of them, he thought of what another wolf might think of him, if she ever heard of it. Although he had only met her the one time, he could feel a closeness that none other could compare to. Desmond wouldn’t call it love, but he liked her… a lot. He liked her so much he decided leaving his pack was not the right choice. It would make him seem like such a coward. The Alpha moved along the invisible boundary, watching as the grass had poked through the small bits of snow remaining on the grounds. Spring was upon them, and this only meant more trouble for the Alpha. But he pushed the thoughts from his mind as he raised a single paw into the air. He was headed for a part of his lands, but he heard the footsteps of two wolves. His ears perked atop his head and his eyes wandered as they tried to find the source of the sound. Curiosity forced the large wolf to follow them. He was behind them, directly downwind when he noticed a black female and black male walking so close to one another. Tilting his head softly to the side, he moved after them. Where were they going? They seemed to be heading from somewhere right for the pack clearing. Perhaps they had rendezvoused out beneath the stars for the last night of winter. It was strange to think of, but some wolves liked weird things. There wasn’t much else that could be said about that. Large paws took careful steps as he followed a few feet behind. He did not wish for them to know he was following them. Finally they reached their destination at the entrance to his den. The first wolf to approach was female. Her voice was irritating, to say the least, and she seemed to ramble on a little too much for his liking. The male was quieter and only confirmed some of the words she had spoken. Desmond knew the male as he drew closer to their rear. It was the Caretaker who had accepted his call out to the packs. For a moment, Desmond decided to sit and wait. He smiled as he wanted to see just how long they would wait for a reply from him. As he waited, he thought about a wolf that Fel had spoken to him about, a female who came from Erenyx, which was immediately granted the rank of Omega. From Fel’s perspective, the fae did nothing to cover her tracks from Erenyx. What other wolves would discover their lands and decide to challenge Desmond for his title? Should Teren ever find out about his little border hoping game, trouble would surely be on its way headed straight for Desmond. He had heard the tales of Teren and decided it was best for his own hide, to keep far away. The blended fur of the male’s coat stuck out like a sore paw among all the foliage that was coming back to life. With a sigh, he deiced it was time for the game to be over. He cleared his throat loud enough for both of them to hear. His emerald eyes stared at the pair as he spoke to them. ”Never have I heard of an Omega coming to an Alpha for something before someone who is higher ranking status than her own self. Omega’s are bottom of the rank structure for a reason. This very reason. Do not speak to me as if you have free reign over these lands. You are given your rank for a reason, so act like it or I shall remind you myself what it means to truly be an Omega.” Desmond turned his attention to the male. He tried to think back and remember his name. It started with an “N”. Or was it an “M”? As he thought about it for the moment, he gave himself some time. ”Caretaker… from the first day of the pack, correct… Was it Noodle? No.. Norbel? No… you don’t really fit that name, do you? Ah that’s right, it was Knoble, right? Anyway… even though you are a Caretaker, it is still your responsibility to make sure we don’t have Omegas gone wild over here. You can put her in her place, in fact, I wish for you to do so… now.” Desmond took a seat upon the floor, his tail curled over his paws and his eyes looked to the both of them, more so towards Knoble. ”When you are done, Knoble, you may ask me whatever it is you wish to ask.” |

| Upon hearing the sound of someone behind her clearing their throat, she jumped. She, still down in her submissive stance, looked over her shoulder and froze. She swallowed, unsure of how to respond. She couldn't think, she didn't dare move, even breathe. So, stupid as she was, she let out a pathetic whine and sunk lower to the ground, her tail gently thumping on the ground to show that she wasn't a threat. "You are given your rank for a reason, so act like it or I shall remind you myself what it means to truly be an Omega.” He had said, and a violent shudder rippled through her body that cowered on the dirt below her own four paws. She still didn't move beyond that, and she considered shaking her head no, but instantly reprimanded herself internally. He will kill you, fool, a voice hissed in her head, and she could imagine her conscious nipping her shoulder if it were an actual being. How much worse could this get?
She gulped even harder as she heard the Alpha - Desmond - tell Noble to 'put her in her place'. She let her nervousness show and she looked up at the male caretaker with her terrified green orbs, wondering what he would do to complete the task. He wouldn't ignore it, she knew that much, but she hoped that it wouldn't involve pain, emotional or physical, for either of them. Then her eyes snapped down to the ground and she side-stepped, more so crawled, two steps away from the two older males. She begged silently: Don't hurt me...
((OOC: I now give both Noble and Desmond the power to control Emily, aka powerplay her, since she is in the state where correcting must be done for her mistake. You may inflict injury, but they must be able to heal IC later.)) |

| Noble froze as he listened to his love breathe, his blue gaze drifting to look over his shoulder. He was still submissive until he heard the Alpha speak unto them. He would not lay a single paw to harm his love. He turned quickly and pressed his body against hers, nudging her towards the corner and standing in front of her with a broadened stance to protect her. His blue eyes narrowed and while his tail stayed below his back, the rage within him grew stronger and stronger. He felt like the wild beast that had attacked him and his son. His ears roved forward and he spoke in a soft but stern voice. "It's Noble, and you may be the Alpha... and I do respect you, but if ever you think that I will harm Emily, then you are very wrong. I love her with my whole heart, soul, and body. I will take any beatings that you wish to bestow upon her, I will take all her pain and suffer for any wrong she has done. She will always hold my priorities, and while I swore loyalty to this pack, she too has my loyalty. In a battle, I will fight for the pack, but I will also fight for my love. I will protect her, even if it means protecting her from you. Surely you can understand what love does to the mind? To the body? You throw yourself out there without thinking, much like how if you love you pack enough... you will risk your life even if the one whose life is on the line is an Omega. Emily made a mistake, a few, but that does not mean she shouldn't be treated with respect. She deserves as much respect as the next wolf. Sure she needs to understand that she has a place in the pack, but isn't that place to be taught calmly and patiently by the Alpha? If an Alpha cannot show the Omega that she should be ready to make others laugh instead of fight, then perhaps the Alpha is unfit. I came to Agavos because I saw no hope in staying with Helidos. Emily followed me to Agavos because Erenyx would tear her apart for loving someone whom came from another pack, sure she did it the wrong way, but it was because she was either taught wrongly or mislead to believe something. No matter how big her mistake was, I will love her. She joined the pack, she is a member and she deserves respect too, no matter what her rank is. Alpha Desmond, the one whom can't recall my name. The one whom leads with harsh rule, of course you'll never be like Teren, nor like Quinn. You aren't even neutral, have you even ever loved before? I stand up to you now, because I will take both punishments for Emily and myself." He took a deep and ragged breath from talking so much, his vocal chords strong with anger. He didn't want to be put at a lower rank, but he was in love with the ebony fae and he would lay his life down for her just as he would for the pups and members of this pack. He felt like he his words were too strong, but he wouldn't apologize until it was made clear that he would die right then and there for his love. He could have dragged on about how strongly he felt about his connection with the young and beautiful fae, but he felt the urge to stand there, in that den, and protect his fae like any male would. He could only hope that their Alpha would understand and accept them for who they were, for surely they could not return to Erenyx, nor to Helidos. They had no choice but to stay with Agavos and seek their undying love in the beautiful land. |

| "You sir, are an idiot." Desmond spoke in a low and deep tone. His eyes stared unto the wolf before him. Who did he think he was? He was only a Caretaker. He could not speak to an Alpha in such a manner. Desmond's blood boiled beneath his coat and he could feel the anger pulsating within his paws. His emerald gaze glared unto the two wolves before him. How dare they both. He stood up from his seated position with his head held high. His snarl rippled in the silence after Knoble had spoken. In his mind, this little brat would always be Knoble. Now he had to think on what he would do as punishment for the both of them. He could cause bodily harm to them, he could break a leg, or he could take away their rights. With all these stupid words of "love", Desmond knew exactly what they had come to see him for. They were so foolish. The male was so stupid. The Alpha stood tall and his tail rose over his spine. "You are a fool for thinking or making any prejudgments on me or my pack. If this is not the life you choose to live, one of actual structure and balance, then you should leave and go back to Helidos. And by all means, Omega fae, go back to Erenyx and be eaten alive or whatever they do to traitors. You think that because you 'love' something or someone that you can go against a direct order? That is not how pack life works. I should just kill you myself for defying me, to make an example out of you. So all other wolves in this pack will learn that Desmond, the Alpha of Agavos, does not play around with bullshit excuses and insubordination. I will not stand for it. But, I don't think even that would get through your tiny little brain. In fact, I don't think anything I say to you now is getting through. No, you cannot be mates. Ever. For the both of you shall share the rank of Omega. Omegas are not allowed to mate or even to have mates. For not doing what I have said, you have proven you are no better than the two Omegas we already have. If I see either of you together, in my pack lands again, I will kill Omega fae myself. Now get out of my sight!" he snapped with a loud bark. The fur along his spine was standing straight up and his snarls grew louder every second they stayed in front of him. He would definitely tell Fel of this occurrence, for he knew he could trust her and she would abide by the pack laws. Wolves in this forest thought Quinn too nice, and Teren too terrible. But what they did not know, was Desmond was a mixture of the both. Some days he was kind and forgiving, but he had his moments when he was a tyrant. This was one of his more tyrannical moments and he was proud with his decision. Noble, change your name to Omega.

| Emily was dumbfounded. She listened to Noble stand up to Desmond, prepared to take on pain and even death for her. Inside, her heart ached. She couldn't stand the anticipation after Noble spoke, the tiny second before the Alpha called Noble an idiot. She whimpered, rolling over onto her side and exposing her stomach, trying desperately to urge Noble to do something, anything, that would stop from what was happening. But it was too late. Noble was an omega, and they would never be mates... Forbidden love, as it was to be. She stood up, and with a fierce fire burning in her eyes, she screamed, green eyes staring into the Alpha's, "No! I love Noble, and he loves me! Don't ever call him Knoble again, or else I will leave your pack with even less numbers than it has! I will tell Helidos of your treachery, and I know that at leas they will care enough to try and end it! Good luck trying to run a pack with no wolves in it. You sir, are the idiot. You sir, will never have any loyal members in your Hellhole of a pack if you treat them this way!"
And with that, she turned tail and ran. She didn't care if he sent the entire pack after her... If she couldn't love, she couldn't live. And if she died today, she wouldn't mind. She would simply fall to her death like falling asleep. It would be easy, maybe painful and endlessly long, but it would be easy... She had to leave. She wouldn't stay here in any of the packs. She couldn't. And she would take Noble with her, where there was no rules to keep them apart from each other.
-Emily Exits-
((OOC: Until Rose pays for the plot *hush hush, not telling unless you already know about it*, Emily will be dormant for the time being. I will not play her until the bones have been spent and accepted, from there, I will begin the plot etc.)) |
