PostSubject: Eirwen Eirwen Icon_minitimeOctober 24th 2015, 05:26

Name: Eirwen (pronounced 'Air-wyn')

Gender: Female

Age: 3

Pack: Pyrvanthros

Rank Requested: Healer

Appearance:
With a demurely lowered gaze and a gentle expression, Eirwen is the epitome of elegance and gentility. A Timber and Arctic mix, she stands at a healthy 77 cm. her body is covered with soft cream, sleekly spreading from her head to her tail. There are no blemishes on her coat, as she keeps it impeccably clean and nor has she participated in any fight recently. Her natural scent is that of the jasmine flower and although not potent, it is quite easy to recognise it once the wind carries it across to your nose.

There is no doubt that she is quite a beautiful female, although she would be quick to deny it. Her movements are delicately elegant, carrying an aura of caution with each step, as if afraid that she will break something, though no hesitation is to be seen. Cool blue-grey eyes glimmer with compassion as they exemplify her beauty.

Contradicting her soft appearance, Eirwen is a rather strict individual and is quite serious. Although her expressions may not show that, she is a bit of a stickler for rules and can be quite headstrong in her beliefs. Engrained into her from puphood, she abhors complaints and often expects things to be done with perfection and certainty. However, knowing that not everyone is as meticulous she is, she is more lenient on others. However, upon herself, she can be very harsh, expecting that she will be able to handle situations on her own, if necessary and be in control of herself at all times. Eirwen has very negative views on those who flaunt their power, believing that those individuals did not deserve such reputation and control. A hard worker, she strives to prove herself through her work and does not take lightly to those insulting her performance and product. However, despite her stern and almost pedantic thought process, Eirwen is quite humble and patient. She may have her moments of annoyance but overall, she is still pleasant to be around.

Although her gentle and shy demeanour gives most the impression that she is weak, that is by no means true. Capable of holding herself against attackers, Eirwen does hold a bit of muscle underneath her fur, however she is hardly suitable for the rank of Warrior. With her almost permanently mild personality, it is difficult to rile Eirwen up, even if you were to insult something precious of hers. She may not retaliate immediately, however it'll be easy to tell when you've upset her by looking at her eyes; what is usually cool but warm will harden to harsh steel.

History:
Born in a pack a while away from those of Age, Eirwen was the eldest of a quartet. Her father, Aneirin was a Hunter of their pack and her mother, Lowri was a Beta. For the pack, it was an odd pairing but it was accepted nonetheless. Her childhood was nothing too profound with the generic happy puphood with her siblings and parent-sibling bonding. However, things became more serious when she was 6 months away from becoming an adult.

The pack that she belonged to was governed by a pair of strict but fair Alphas, who installed laws that every member of the pack must follow. What rank you were, who you could mate, it was all decided by the higher ranks. There were no complaints as everything was equal and no one was treated better than the other and thus the pack was content. Aneirin and Lowri, however, were a special case of mating. Being a Beta, Lowri was ranked higher than Aneirin and in most scenarios, a mating between the two would not have been possible. The only unique factor was the distinguished status of Lowri; being a founding member of the pack, her rights overrode most of the members and her request to mate with Aneirin was granted without much of a fuss. Producing four strong and healthy pups was gratifying news to the pack and the unorthodox mating was forgotten.

Eirwen was a yearling when her parents had called upon their children to speak with them. Knowing that the quartet were nearing their maturing, it was time to let them know of what was to come. Every year, the pack would go through a sorting for the yearlings, determining what their future rank would be. Some would be fortunate enough to be chosen as the apprentices of the Guardians or the Deltas, some who were average in all skills would be chosen to major in one Working rank, such as a Warrior or Hunter, while others who were less than fortunate would be sent to work with the Omegas to increase what they still lacked and improved. It was quite a strenuous process but it was effective. No one had ever protested because they had no need to, although there were a few dramas that had occurred due to some Omega placings.

Trained with the attitude to accept what they were given, Eirwen and her siblings weren't particularly concerned with what rank they were given. They knew that rules were meant to be followed and they saw no problem in doing so. When the day arrived of their Sorting during their sixth month of being a yearling, the natural nerves did arise however they were quickly squashed as the ceremony began. The process was long, going through each yearling and testing their strengths and weaknesses. Once the trials were over, the Alphas announced that the results would be declared the next day.

Eager about their placings, the siblings were in the meeting area, earlier than the rest of the yearlings. Once everyone was present, the Alphas began declaring the rankings. There weren't many Omega placings this year and everyone automatically assumed that there were not going to be chosen. When the Alphas began calling out Eirwen's younger sister, Mair, the family held their breath and let it out in relief when she was to be working with the Warriors. Her younger brother was one of the fortunate ones to be apprenticed with the GuardiansĀ and her other younger sister was to be a Hunter. With such successful results, the remaining sibling and the eldest, Eirwen was expected to have a result as profound as her brothers. However, when it was announced that she would be working with the Omegas, the world came to a stop. Perhaps, they had said it wrong but when she asked them to repeat it, she, indeed, was given the position to 'apprentice' with the Omegas. Deciding not to make a fuss, she bowed her head low and accepted with a gentle, albeit forced smile.

Believing it just to be a form of misfortune, Eirwen overlooked it and continued on with her duties. Given the task to attend to the Healers, she was content to let it all pass and eventually rise to the higher ranks of the pack in the future, but if it weren't for a few big-mouths and their loud words, perhaps she wouldn't have left as quickly as she did.

It had been another 6 months after the Selections and she had learnt diligently alongside those who rehabilitated the pack. A quick learner, it was evident that she was well on her way to becoming a respected Healer. However, when the day she expected to receive a promotion came, she never acquired it. Again, she did not question out of loyalty and continued on her way to work with the Omegas. She had absolutely no idea of the prejudice against her.

One day, when collecting the herbs to package for the healers, she heard voices from nearby. Not wanting them to see her, she hid into a bush, knowing fully well that the flowers would hide her scent. She examined the faces of the gossipers and immediately recognised them; one was the son of a Guardian and the other the son of a Hunter. "Did you hear? Apparently, Aldric had asked his Mum and Dad not to put Eirwen as the Apprentice of a Beta. Said that a 'girl wouldn't be able to learn how to be Beta so easily'." Those words drew upon hidden fire within her chest and she fumed silently, a frown now marring her normally pleasant features. The son of the Guardian continued, "I also heard that he has a crush on her." Rearing back in disgust, she left the conversation with a cold and reserved expression that cleverly hid the fury inside. She wouldn't stay here, not when such injustice would be inflicted upon because of some little pup who thought that he could stop her from achieving her best and charm his way into her life. No, she wouldn't let that happen.

It was that very night that she spoke with her siblings, invoking rage within them. Stopping them from rampaging on Aldric, she told them of her plan to leave the pack and being the loving siblings she knew, they agreed to help her. She was a little apologetic towards her parents, however, she knew that if she told them, they would try to stop her. She couldn't let them do that; she needed her freedom, if she stayed her, the pack would chain her down. Looking back once, she left soon a few days after, taking what she needed and went searching for some place that would grant her peace and the right to do what she wanted.

Hello there, just a few things that need clearing up before this is accepted:

You need to note what breed of wolf Eirwen is as that will determine her build/height/coloring.

In her history you said that her mother was a Beta, then she was a guardian. Please confirm which rank she held.

How long did Eirwen train as a healer? Did she leave immediately after hearing about her ranking or did she stay a while before leaving?

Address these things and a staff member will look at this once more.
