| - Can enter at any time~After training with the lovely warrior female, the brute departed along with the rest of the pack he had earned the individual names of. They were exceptional wolves for such a growing pack, he was internally proud to be apart of such strong numbers, only to hope they'd grow even stronger as the future held for them all. He saw potential, fine potential, and sought to find more with those that would choose to cross those very borders of theirs. With a chance to recognize some of the stronger hunters, he took them mostly to key in his memory, knowing very well he'd be working more so along side such individuals and is hopeful to make stronger acquaintance with them. Until then, he carried on, his bruised snout slowly healing as the icy air numbed it enough to be easily ignored as he walked further apart from the valley once he had wished the warrior a sweet goodbye. The gentle-wolf granted her his thankfulness and carried onwards, like always, never one to discuss so much on the matter but to leave it short and sweet for a lasting impression. He would've been willing to walk her to her next destination if asked of, but he'd only be a nuisance, he convinced himself of as he walked further into the pack territories, father away from base. His large, ivory paws crunched as they stepped on the compact snow, noticing now how the weather had allowed such a wintery feature to finally stick and freeze the now solid ground. Following his nose, Xerentis distanced himself more and more away from feminine scents and high testosterone levels as best he could, only to find himself in the most odd of places. But his attention was sparked beneath such an obscure scene, he couldn't resist the urge to enter.
Observing the land hesitantly, he took in keen detailed to his new surroundings, his bi-colored eyes squinting through the fog that interlaced between thin, twiggish trees. They were barren, from the cold he assumed, but he had a strong, strange feeling they were naturally like that even despite the winter season. The thick white mist went as high as the branches above his head, making it almost impossible to see in front of himself other than the dark casts of neighboring trees in his path. As he walked, he kept close to the beaten path, assuming so that it was meant to be there so that wolves would not get lost within the fog ridden lands of cynical madness. Something didn't feel quite right, though Xerentis could not recall a time where something ever was normal to him - everything had its own little madness deep inside, but the place he found himself certainly made a threatening impression at first glance. As he joined the deeper portions of the hollow, he dragged one of front paws through the snow to indicate where he was in case he were lost, using it so that it made a path for himself to get back to base, or perhaps, someone to find him wandering helplessly alone in such a dangerous territory. He could only wonder what made the leaders of the pack choose such a land, but he admired it in a way most wouldn't. His dearest friend back home, Arminodin, would've nagged him into turning back from such a place that allowed his curiosity to get the best of him. In times like this, he made the best of it and continued forwards to discover only the same thing he had seen before. It was a wasteland, a never-ending forest of thin trees and pure thick fog. He exhaled softly, hoping to find some source of entertainment within the hollow but saw nothing that'd suit his fancy. The black and white scene would have to do, so he neared the closest tree and sat at its roots quietly, allowing himself to listen to nature's song with half shut eyes. Perhaps if he were quiet enough, a curious hare would come running along for him to snatch and dine on for the time being as he enjoyed the given peace. He kept his hopes alive for such an opportunity and remained at bliss as his thoughts rolled over the past, thinking back to where he left off before leaving his natal pack district and towards such a present for himself. He missed them, ever so dearly, but this was a new life for him now. Xerentis was at peace, at last, in discovering the outside world beyond the great walls that kept him away from such a beautiful thing such as nature itself. |

| Carefully wandering the territory, he made his way through the woods. Killian had no sense of where he was going, just following his paws to wherever they took him. As he approached the border entering into the Cynical Hollow, there were no sounds of life beyond this point. The fog was thick, clinging to the trees in a manner that forced Killian to squint to see through it all. His eyes looked left and right. The only things he could barely see looked like mangled trees, or something of the sort. The grass along the floor was dead, far past ever being able to grow back to life. Stepping forward, he moved through the trees. His paws forced him to wander deeper inside the terrain. His eyes watched carefully, making sure that nothing popped fight up in front of him. He was cautious, not sure if the fog would hinder any fresh scents to come towards him. The male knew that things would be alright for him, because he would not allow anything to happen to him. He was no weak whelpling, no, he was a valiant and stunning Hunter. As he moved through the trees, he saw a form resting beside one. It was a white wolf, this much he could tell. Any features of the wolf were hidden behind the cloud of fog. He could not tell if it were small, large or average. Killian did not wish to startle the other wolf, so he made sure to make more noise on his approach, as much as he could. Fallen twigs he purposefully stepped on to try and make their meeting as natural as could be. "What brings you out here, mate?" |

"If you think reality is just living comfortably and following your own whims, can you seriously dare to call yourself a soldier? ""He speaks" He listens He thinks |
With shut eyes, the ivory male fell into a light slumber, his ears cocked forwards while he subconsciously remained alert in his sleep. Paws stretched out at his sides, his tail curled over his lip while his face laid against one of the obscure tree roots. He remained like so for just a while, eventually falling into the state where he was able to focus on dreaming, but the image and sound was fuzzy in the male's remembrance. It had appeared he were back home, training vigorously as a young lad alongside his adopted sister and beloved friend, his commander watching him diligently from afar. It was nerve-wracking, but an equal opportunity to show off what he was made of. Xerentis couldn't help but to smile slightly at such a time where things seemed so innocent, where his younger self took every chance he got to impress is mentor, so excited for the world, so pure. But times like those were long ago, before the carnage, before the despair. That life was gone, but his mind still wandered into the remaining happiness before the snapping of a twig made his ears twitch and bi-colored eyes flicker open. If it weren't for the inability to track a scent in this territory, he would've recognized by now whom had chosen to bother him, but he wouldn't complain. The creature had made it clear that they were trying to wake him in the best way possible.
Clearly hearing in on the other's steps, he lifted his head slowly before the other could even speak, peering to him quietly as words spilled off his tongue. Xerentis had already gotten on all fours before the other male could finish his sentence, shaking off the debris from the frozen ground free from his thickened dusted ivory coat. As he observed the brute, he noticed the resemblance in that which reminded him of his beloved natal pack friend, but he knew well enough to know that they were not the same person in even the slightest on the inside. "I could be asking you the same thing." he stated rather indifferently, his stance widening while he stretched out his legs a bit more, adjusting to the standing position more comfortably. "Too many feminine scents at the heart of camp," he used as an excuse, though he was honest within that reason. He had no intention to settle down as of yet, and thus would avoid most commotions and gatherings between females until the winter was through. His time meant for socializing will be sticking to the himself, and the remaining mandatory meetings as needed. Xerentis shrugged it off and peered to the other with questioning eyes, awaiting to see if the other would respond with their own excuse to being out here. He smelled of another, as if he'd done his part in planting his genes in a female, but who, is what he wondered. He chose not to ask - it wasn't his business to know. "I remember you from the training session.. uh.. Killian, is it? Pleasure to meet you."

| Bidding farewell to the healers, he ventured on his own way. The two were still hesitant about their fighting skills, which was understandable, but they would progress soon enough. Assuming that he would be asked to continually work with them, and they he, the Delta was planning to schedule a time where he could learn more from them. If they so wished, more skills to protect themselves from danger. Being important to the pack, the healers needed to be able to protect themselves if danger lingered rather than depending on the warriors and hunters to protect them. They needed to be prepared for anything. As did he if he or anyone with him should be wounded in any way. He was determined to keep this pack strong, and he knew he would not fail with Chiara and Magnus reigning over him. He would show them that he is important to the pack and that he can be trusted. Meanwhile, Malachai knew he had to get to know some of his other pack mates. he had only personally met a few when accepting them at the borders. Three females and a male. The male he had encountered was odd, but seemed to be able to trust, nevertheless. Nothing seemed too off about him, other than his surprising honesty at the border that he was not expecting. Everyone he had come across so far had been fairly nice and respectful towards the others, including himself. The Delta was always a male that could get along well with others if they were able to do the same. He was never opposed to making friends or acquaintances as long as they were respectful rather than rude.
Moving his body forward through the lands, it grew darker. He recognized the land from when he, Magnus, and Chiara toured over the Pyrvanthos lands. Cynical Hollow was a darker place, but had it's own odd beauty. It was not a comforting feel to those of the faint of heart, but an adventure for those brave enough to wander through the trees. Only a few feet ahead of himself, he noticed two other bodies. Their pelts were light, which helped him identify the two. He could put a name to them. Killian and Xerentis. He had little interacting wight he two but was convinced that he would get to know them ore later on. If not, they were still forced to live together in this place unless one of them left. He highly doubted that any of them would leave if such things occurred, but could not help but analyze al the possibilities of situations. Edging closer the the two, he spoke. "Afternoon. Killian and Xerentis, is it? Pleasure to speak to the both of you." He smiled a little, letting them know that he was here as a friend. |

| WORDS: 000 | TAGGED: @tag | NOTES: xyz "Aye, I can agree with that mate... Too many females in this pack, too many hormones, and not a single one interests me.." Killian smirked to the male who was now standing before him. He watched him stretch and make himself much larger. Killian was not concerned with size of another wolf. He did not worry for any of it. Instead, he considered it a challenge, should it ever come up for him to fight another wolf. He knew he was skilled, perhaps not the best with fighting, but enough to get by. If it was not for the snow, he would have been fine during the little brawl he and Claudia had. He should have been paying better attention to his surrounding. After all, that was what he was good at. He kept an eye on the things he needed to. He stood tall, looking to the other wolf. "Yes, I am Killian. I do apologize if I have forgotten your name. I'm not too good with them, you see. Perhaps my mind is just too filled with things like training and you know, other things.." Before they could continue their little chat, another wolf entered their little area. His eyes moved with his head as he turned to see the white wolf present himself before them. Raising a brow, Killian looked to the Delta male. He had seen him in the meeting, though he did not recall the name of the high ranking wolf. His blue eyes lowered to the ground with respect for the male. "Hey there," he said in sultry tone. "What brings you out here? Are you also tired of all the estrogen in the pack?"
Aye, there is always a crisis perhaps you should consider living your life during them, otherwise you might miss it.

With two-toned eyes, the light ivory dusted brute observed the other much closer now that he had properly risen to stand to an agreeable level of interest. His gaze softened to the words spoken, but his face left unmoved as he listened. It was a small world, though the two coincidentally ended in such a fearful place, yet they both seemed unphased by their dark surroundings. The indifferent wolf rolled his shoulders inwards before releasing a soft breathe, exhaling the negatives and bringing in with the good rather the bad. As the male would claim an agreement with he, Xerentis would begin to wish he had the courage to express his suspicions externally, however he held his tongue. Perhaps he was wrong about the other, and he hadn't planted himself within a fae yet the season and it was just a worthy suitor rubbing into his fur during the cold, lonesome nights. He refused to understand and only nodded subtly to the other, his mind fought him continuously upon the matter, unfortunately. Killian reminded him much of one of his comrades he hadn't gotten quite along with, but that was within his youth and since then the two had found a medium. He had grown much since then, times had changed for the better, he tried to believe, though he could not deny the fact that the brute did bring up some lost memories that still ached in his heart, yet he never spoke a word of it. He was stronger than that, and his commander had made sure of that before he left the pack ranks.
Before he had the chance to return the favor of his name, his attention stirred to the presence of their superior. Quickly, Xerentis shifted back and lowered his muzzle slightly more than normal as Malachai would only near closer to the gathering. It had appeared his words were useless to the other now that his name was revealed for him. As the Delta would come to a halt, the hunter would lift his head back up and stand comfortably like he had been in his same position. "Long time, no see.. Delta." Xerentis peered to the superior white wolf with high respect and adoration, knowing their positions only different slightly, but being that he had been the first individual to of met, he admired him even more. As the other would ask about his reason being here, the ivory male would only back the question up with another, but kept it unnecessary and rhetorical if ignored, "Have you any suitors, Malachai?" He asked, his voice low and granted with care for the other. His ears remained pointed above his head while the air pressed into his side, the dark shades of the land casting an almost unintentional grim shadow across his face.

| The two greeted the Delta, which made him feel better about approaching them. He nodded to the both of them, hopefully getting them to understand that they did not have to be submissive towards him. He was here as an individual the same as them. All on the same level. His eyes rolled over to Killian, who spoke to him of the females and strong scent of hormones within the pack. "Aye. The scent is sweet for a short while, but soon gives you a headache unlike any other. But I suppose it's all worth it, as it's only for a season." Shrugging slightly, he chuckled. He didn't mind the scents of the females often, but sometimes they were quite overwhelming for the Delta, and he had to get away from that. He knew that without the females, there would be no life to care for and they would all slowly die off without reproducing, but the scent was enough for him to leave at that moment. Peering over to Xerentis, his lips curled into a smirk. "Xerentis." The name slipped through his lips like honey. Deep and mysterious. "I have not found anyone in particular that has caught my eye. How about yourself, Hunter?" His eyes had a gleam of playful yet teasing nature in them. This was a male he could get alone with, most definitely. Killian was something else. He knew little to nothing about him, but intended to have that change soon enough. A thought momentarily popped into his head. What is they formed their own personal trio? It would be something different for the Delta to experience, and would be more brotherly than his actual brothers ever were towards him. That may make him vulnerable to the pair. His sense for longing in family would be one of his greatest weaknesses, if it was not obvious to him already when it came to Tundra and Piper. They were his only family, in his mind. They were the two who had been there for him when he needed it and vice versa. If everything went crash in to the ground, he would have nowhere to run other than to Agavos or Helidos. It was only a matter of time before Teren would more than likely make his move to cause pain for the "traitors" of Pyrvanthos. |
