The malleable mind of a pup is a curious thing. Every experience, however little it may seem to that of an adult, is of the utmost importance to one so young, with so much yet to learn. Every critter that crosses their path is an exciting new adventure, ever sunrise and sunset brings with it a new world of opportunities and possibilities. But for some, traumatic events can shape their mind into a different reality, one all their very own, created to protect themselves from the harsh truths of life. Such was the case for young Blaire. Haunted by the vision of her dead mother, her mind did all that it could to protect her, blurring her memories, twisting them into something else entirely, and though the hurt was still there, it was redirected to a different ending. She believed her mother to have abandoned her, to have selfishly left her own young to die. Coming to terms with this fabricated fact had left a bitterness inside the young pup, but then again what more could she expect of an Erenyx wolf.

In her mind, everything associated to the pack of her birth was shrouded in darkness, leaving a foul taste in her mouth. She was nothing like that, nothing like them. She desired to be honourable and just, like those who had graciously taken her in. Fel, ah now there was a wolf that Blaire could look up to. The she wolf had saved her from certain death, and risked a great deal bringing an enemy pup into her pack. Though Blaire would never say it aloud for sake of her own pride, she admired Fel. She was strong, something that the young pup was determined to prove that she too was. A flicker of guilt fell over Blaire as the lanky, stilts that passed for legs carried her gangly form over tickets of brush and roots. She hadn't told anyone where she was going, and though she wasn't being so bold as to go beyond pack borders, Fel would surely not be pleased she had ventured so far without telling someone. But, Blaire was quick to brush off the feeling of guilt and replace it with a keen sense of curiosity. She had never been out this way, and she did not intend to go home until she had explored every inch of the thick forest.

With her head hung relatively low, and her ears flickering back and fourth as familiar, and unfamiliar sounds trickled their way towards her, she pushed onward. Keen steel blue eyes scanned the landscape before her, taking note of things that stood out as being memorable in shape or position so that she might find her way home later. Little seemed to truly awe the pup up to this point, or at least that was until she caught sight of something she had never seen before. A small creature lay sleeping beneath the cover of a low bush, relatively camouflaged by the light fawn colouring of its coat that was speckled with white spots. She likely would have missed the creature were it not for a slight twitch it made in its slumber. With a tilt of her cream coloured head, she stopped to observe the sleeping creature for a moment, examining it's form, and trying to distinguish it's scent from the many other scents that assaulted her nose at once. Taking a few careful steps forward, she inched a little closer to the subject of her interest. Stopping a fair ways away, she quietly reclined onto her haunches, rather concealed from view of the thing incase it woke and her presence startled it. She wished to watch the little beast, to follow it when it woke, to learn more about how it moved, what it did, how it smelled, and if it was by chance alone, or if there were more like it around.

After what seemed like a lifetime, the tiny thing finally began to rouse from it's slumber. At this Blaire perked up immediately. Giving a yawn and a shake to wake itself even further so, the little spotted creature slowly pushed itself onto twig thin legs. Blaire tipped her head to the side once more, trying to get a better view of the even ganglier legged thing than she. How close could she get to it? Would it run away? Would it try and attack her? Of these she was not sure, but she was going to find out for herself. Lowering herself entirely to the ground, she began to crawl forward until she had revealed herself entirely from her hiding spot. With wide eyes and tail raised high, the little creature spotted her and stood completely still. Blaire did not move, and nor did the creature. A few moments passed in complete silence before Blaire ever so carefully and quietly let her head rest upon the ground trying to become as welcoming as possible. Intrigue was building on both sides, until the creature began to slowly, and quite hesitantly step towards Blaire. Resisting the urge to wag her tail in delight, she remained completely still. The space between them was closing now, only a few feet remaining, and Blaire was ecstatic, but her joy all too quickly turned to disappointment when a branch snapped just off to her left, sending the creature dashing off into the bushes for safety. "No! Come back dang it!" she barked sharply as she sprung to her feet and tried chasing after the critter, but it was no where to be seen. "Uggggg" she groaned to herself, her ears laying flat against her head in annoyance at her now ruined adventure.

The female moved deeper into the territory. She paused slightly at the vegetation. She didn't want to disturb any hunters but as she scented the air she could not detect any amount of wolves that would be necessary for a large hunt. They could be hiding she considered but dismissed the thought. She had no desire to creep around a territory that she was now a part of for no good reason. Flickering her ears she heard a sharp outcry following the sound of some ungulate dashing off. The femme didn't even bother to give chase, she had no idea what it was and thinking that it had to be at least full grown didn't think that she could outrun it or overtake it with the amount of head start it had in unfamiliar terrain. Cursing her luck she moved on towards the sound of the outburst. Almost immediately her eyes fixated on the rather young wolf who appeared to be rather frustrated with the outcome of her efforts.

A bemused smile flit on her face before it vanished. What a bother she observed almost ready to move on. If she had been more careful she wouldn't have even come across this wolf. Getting ready to move on she turned back. The pup was rather small and by scent was part of this pack. Her paws stopped moving past the area, she wasn't even sure if the inexperienced wolf had even realized that she was there. Still the cogs in her mind turned. Her impression made on the Alpha had not seemed favorable. Certainly if this pup found any trouble she would say she had been there but it may be deduced that she had in some way. Her lips curled back in contempt before a more placid expression laid across them. I suppose it couldn't hurt to see what she's up to she mused. Her curiosity over what the small thing could have possibly been doing attempting to hunt any prey larger than a sizeable rabbit diminished.

She wondered how it would be seen for her to be roaming this area alone, she knew that pack wolves often sought out each other but she had no desire to seek out any wolves unless she had need of them. She had her job to protect the pack and follow orders in battle but other than that the advantages of the pack did not require her to be constantly in the presence of other wolves. I will have to figure this out before I make a mistake was her only thought before she made her way towards the other female. She guessed the best case scenario would be that she gained a small amount of trust and the worst case was that she was found and associated with the act of the young wolf sneaking out of the den if that was in fact what the youth was doing. Or attempting to do - she hadn't exactly been quiet in her outburst.

Picking her way forward she brought herself into view of the smaller wolf and assessed her. Not greeting she waited for the pup to introduce herself. She had no desire to initiate conversation if not necessary. She was just here to make sure that the cub wasn't getting into any trouble. If she appeared sheepish at being caught then she was mostly likely not supposed to be here, and if not then she would ascertain the pup's intentions and ability to wander the territory alone before moving on. She knew that while the caring of the pups was mostly done by specific wolves the future of the pack was something that rested on every wolf's back. She allowed her gaze to roam over the landscape, she had scented no danger but she doubted that she could be too safe. She had no idea what lurked in this odd agglomeration of trees. They bound to the center as if compelled, and there was something vaguely captivating about it she supposed. She could see the value of a pup exploring it - easy to find their way to the most significant landmark if lost and plenty of obstacles presented by the roots and trees that it provided decent cover as well as fun.

She simply hoped that this was not a favorite haunt of snakes, while she wasn't afraid of them it was not on her list of desirable things to run into. The smaller one might complicate things as well if she didn't know how to handle the creatures. Her ears pricked to try and detect any signs that they were impeding upon any snake's chosen grounds but she couldn't hear anything yet. Either not here, or waiting to strike she thought wryly Just wonderful.

Agavos
Delta
3 years old
tough
spirited

Lyrics or something about Breeze goes here.

NOTES: Hello hello! Just thought I would drop her here real fast for a little introduction to you both. She always wants to get to know new faces! ^^
THANKS TO DESOTO FOR THE IMAGE ON THIS TABLE!!

She walks. "She talks." She thinks.

The Delta had been wandering quite a bit after making her rounds along borders. All was peaceful and spring was in full bloom, with flowers budding and birds chirping and other animals rustling in the undergrowth. Naturally, the grey female moved towards her favorite part of Agavos, with its trees and the one giant tree where she had talked with the Alpha. So as she approached she smelled something that she found strange here in this pack. It was the scent of a pup! The muscular fae paused, ears swiveling to catch any movement. Sure enough, there was a rustling to her left, and she took one step towards the noise, her paws placed carefully so as not to disturb anything on the forest floor. Had one of the she-wolves had pups? Nonsense! She would have known if that was the case. So who was this? She would have to find out.

Instinctively she lowered her body lower, unsure if she would want to be seen. Golden amber eyes scanned the area, quickly spotting the pup. It seemed she was curious about something, but she had her back turned towards the Delta. The young wolf's body blocked sight of whatever's he was looking at, so the grey she-wolf carefully moved to the left. After finding a good view, she took a step back, trying to stay hidden as she watched. Much to her surprise, it was a fawn which the young canid was so curious about. It brought a smile to Breeze's face to see this pup so curious. Suddenly there was a snap as the dark pelted fae shifted her paws, a small branch breaking beneath the pressure of her paw. The deer had been startled, and soon there was no sight of it. Only its scent reassured them that it had been here just a moment ago. It was clear the pup was frustrated, and she called out to the creature, but it was too late. Soon after, an unfamiliar female appeared. She did not speak, which was odd. The black furred wolf hid have the smell of Agavos on her, but it was rather new. Was this that new wolf who's scent I discovered a little while ago on border patrol? Maybe.

With a soft sigh, the dusty grey pelted female emerged from the foliage, a small smile on her lips. "Good day to you both." Breeze said, her amber orbs flickering between the two wolves. She turned to the pup. "I'm sorry for scaring off that little friend of yours." Her smile was apologetic as she gazed at the pup, then looked back to the other wolf for a moment. Her tail was not held high, for she felt no need to show off her rank quite yet. The muscular fae tilted her head with curiosity. "I don't believe I've seen either of you around Agavos much."
