| Odin grew tired and bored of the same old routine. He had been with the pack for weeks now, watching the kill pile expand and decrease as Steele would bring kills for the pack to devour. But on this bright and beautiful day, Odin decided he would be bringing a kill home for the pack. He quickly set on his way, the air of determination riding on his back. He raced until he finally came upon the Grazing Plains. He knew Steele frequented these lands, bringing the juicy morsels back for everyone. His mouth watered as he dreamed of the Buck he would bring down by himself. No wolf had been able to kill such a large and deadly creature, not until now. Odin scanned the lands. The creatures were preparing for winter, eating as much grass as possible. His auburn system fell on the group of younger looking bucks. He crouched low to the ground, watching their every move.
But before the young brute could focus, he noticed something bounding out of his peripheral view. He shot is head to the side, catching a glimpse of a small furry creature. A rabbit. He knew he could easily kill this prey, he moved slowly after it. The rabbit paused to graze and quickly bounded towards the home it had created. Odin would not allow this creature to leave freely. Pushing his paws against the ground, he raced after the meal. The rabbit was onto his plan, running and diving into his home. Before Odin could stop himself, he lunged at the whole, wedging one front leg and his head inside. He wiggled from side to side, but the hole did not budge. The compact dirt held the wolf tight in this awkward position. He whimpered after attempting to free himself with a strong push from his back feet. After many long minutes of trying to get out, he gave up. His tail hung between his defeated legs and he let out a "help." |

| Ember had been wandering along the plains, her small form crouched low as she smelled out her prey. The scent of a young buck had crossed her path and she planned on hunting it down for her pack. Her prey was finally in her line of vision, and she crouched lower. Ember's snowy eyes were focused only on her prey and she was moving on silent paws. Almost withing pouncing distance, she got ready to go for the kill. Just at that exact moment, a yelp for help rang out. Her prey ran of at a full sprint, and Ember gave chase. Even with moving as fast as she could, her prey was long gone. The fae gave out a huff and turned around to find who needed help.
Almost halfway to the place where she heard the call, a scent hit her nose. Bending her small head down to follow the scent, she tracked it all the way to the wolf. He had lodged both his head and leg into a hole, no doubt chasing a burrowing prey. This would have been comical to her in another situation, but this wolf really needed help. Walking closer to him, she spoke in her English accented voice. "You're in quite a predicament, aren't you?" Coming up beside him, Ember began to dig around the hole, making it big enough to get himself out. The compact dirt wasn't exactly a match for her sharp claws and strong paws.
Making sure he was able to get his head out, Ember sat back. Her head tilted in curiosity as she snowy grey eyes studied him. |

| "Help..." quietly escaped from his lips as his body slowly dropped to the ground. He tried his hardest to hardest until he just gave up. But then he heard a sweet voice from behind his rump. He quickly stood to his feet, acting alert as she stood by him. He could feel her paws digging into the opening, expanding it slowly. Soon he was able to exit the hole, carrying a large amount of dirt on his body. He shook his whole body, flinging the dirt in all sorts of directions. When he was finished he opened his eyes, staring at the beautiful fae before him. He stared into her eyes as he looked for the words to say, "ummm... thank you." He smiled to her, flicking the last bit of dirt from his tail. His long and thick coat now rest beautifully upon his back.
"I am Odin, a uhh, I'm a Warrior here," he said as he smiled at her. He took a handsome stance, showing off his coat, body structure and his sense of honor. He took one step and found himself tripping over a root, laying before her feet. As he looked up, he quickly jumped to his feet, standing before her. "I meant to do that. Yep, it was all me!" he exclaimed as he tried to cover up his mistake. |

| Ember watched the male get himself out of the hole, her peppered ears flicked forward. When he was out, he shook the dirt from his coat. The minute she realized this was a rather handsome male, all thought left her except for the fact that she looked all fluffed and hyper. Realizing that she was staring, she moved her snowy eyes to his. "uhh..... you're welcome.", was all she could think of to say. Her snowy grey eyes studied him. His pelt was quite different from her's, but then again everything about Ember was rather odd. The fur that went from her paws to mid-chest was pure white, while that rest was dark grey and black. At his smile, Ember gave him a smile of her own.
"It's delightful to meet you, Odin. I'm Ember, also a warrior here." Her onyx tipped tail curled around her small paws. She watched him take a step towards her, only to trip over a root. Ember's smile got even bigger when she remembered that she had ran into a tree not long ago. He now lay before her feet, but was into a standing position again in a flash. Ember let out at soft laugh at his next words, but it sounded more like a giggle. He was funny, and Ember enjoyed the company of the funny ones. "I see...... well then that is a rather neat trick you did there. I ran into a tree a little bit ago, but I ended up hugging it on accident." A small hint of embarrassment showed in her eyes as she made sure that her fur was fluffed on her small frame. She was trying not to stare at Odin but it was hard. Moving her snowy eyes to their surroundings, her peppered ears flicked forward as she waited for his response. |

| "Well... I find that the coolest stunts normally deal with trees. But yeah, I uhhh... I just wanted to show you how quick I am just in case you like... Wanted to challenge me or something." Even as he spoke the words he wished he could have taken them back. They sounded so dumb, but Odin was never any good with faes. He would find himself stumbling over words or just making up things at the top of his head. He could feel a was of saliva building in his throat. Try as he might, he couldn't swallow it down. Best thing would be to bring attention to her. "Soo.. What brings you here?" he asked inquisitively. He stared into her eyes, smiling as the silver met the golden color of his hues. |

| Ember couldn't help but laugh at his words. He was a very funny wolf. "Challenge you? Oh no! I only fight when it is absolutely necessary. Plus, you're very funny and I enjoy laughing. Yes, the best tricks are done with trees but I was more likely to get hurt instead of a cool stunt like yours. I am very....... ummm..... clumsy." Nice rambling, Ember, she thought to herself. She looked at him with a tilted head, her curiosity sparking at his odd behavior that was so much like her's. A small grin played on her face as she watched him.
Ember found it easy to talk to any wolf, but males were a little harder. She didn't know what to say and she often rambled. Eventually, the male would lose interest in her and walk away, leaving her to feel saddened. At his question, her peppered ears flicked forward and her snowy grey eyes rose to his golden ones. "I was hunting a young buck not far away when I heard your call for help. The buck heard your call as well and I couldn't catch him because he was running too fast. I decided to turn around and help you, for the buck wasn't worth wasting all of my energy." There she was rambling again, and Ember mentally smacked herself. Her snowy hues turned to look at their surroundings, she didn't know what to say around him that wouldn't make him go away. She hadn't talked to anyone in the pack accept Creek, and the caretaker was a female that she got along with. Keeping her eyes off of him in embarrassment, she watched some leaves rustle in the wind. |

| Odin tilted his head slightly as she spoke. "Oh, yeah well... I was just making sure since I'm so talented and all." Wow... good job, he thought to himself. He looked to her with a crooked smirk. "I was too chasing a Buck, but I decided to let him live. He begged for his life and since I'm such a nice guy, I let him have it." Odin sifted through the dirt with his paw, thinking of what else to say. "Oh guess what? I'm best friends with Azul. Yup, sometimes he.... Okay that was a joke... I'm not good with speaking to faes. I've been trying to impress you. Do you like to play tag?" His mind was racing a mile a minute. He smiled at her, awaiting her reply he stood, waggling his tail. He loved tag and just running in general. |

| Ember ended up laughing a little louder at his words. "Yes, talented indeed." At his smirk, she gave one of her own. She listened to him say he was trying to impress her and ask her if she liked to play tag. "You don't have to try to impress me at all. I was already impressed with the fact that could could fit both your head and leg into such a small hole. I am not good at speaking to males so I guess we're even." Giving him a goofy grin she addressed his question. "Yes, tag is one of my favorites and I just love to run. Most others don't enjoy playing with me though because I am rather fast. Do you think you could catch me?" A slow smirk played across her face as she brushed past him, her tail brushing his nose as she said, "You're it." Pinning her ears back, Ember ran off into the woods at a relaxing pace. She waited to hear his paws really close to her before she showed him how fast she truly was. |

| The brute smiled, more of a smirk than a smile. The edges of lips curled with a devious swirl. His golden hues looked over her form as she spoke. His ears twitched rotating as he listened to her. His tail flicked from side to side. Was she testing him? He laughed at the idea, but soon she was no longer by him. He opened his eyes to find her scent the only thing that remained. He grunted with glee as he sped off after her. As he approached, he forced all his might on his hind legs, forcing him to project past her, brushing his tail past her snout. He laughed as he dashed in one large circle, causing birds and woodland creatures alike to flee the area. He barked and smiled as he continued to run in this circle. |

| Ember let the brute pass her as she continued to run at the same pace. The fae was sizing him up and seeing how fast he could run. Pushing herself a little faster, she kept directly on his heels. When he swerved into a circle it kind of took her off guard. Turning fast, she remained on his heels as he continued to go in one huge circle. Another laugh that sounded like a giggle left her mouth at his funny behavior. "What are you doing?", she asked, then decided she was tired of letting him have the lead. Bunching her muscles under her, she took one leap past him and flicked her tail against his shoulder while doing so. Her ears pinned to her skull from the wind. Ember made sure that she could still hear his paw steps, but this little fae was fast. Her small body was built for speed, even though she still had good strength. Stretching her longs legs, she ran a little faster as she waited for him to catch up. |

| Odin stopped in place as he heard her speak. His claws forced their way into the ground, planting him in place. His head jerked to the side, searching for her. He chuckled and gave her an awkward smirk. He sometimes found himself getting pulled into his own mind, doing exactly nothing! Odin smiled at her, shaking his head, he noticed her dashing off. He pulled his paws from the ground and set off after her. His tail wagged as he chased her excitedly. As he neared her, he laughed yet she pulled ahead of him. Odin gasped for air as he slowly came to a stop. He had tired himself out with his pointless running. He slowly dropped to the floor, laying on his side. He looked for her, but found his eyes growing heavy. Today had been an eventful for the young brute. But it was not over yet. |

| Skidding to a stop, Ember realized the male was no longer chasing her. She turned around to see him lying on the ground on his side. Thinking he was hurt, she dashed towards him. As she came up by his side, she let out a sigh of relief. There were no physical damages to him. Bending down her small head, she nudged him gently. A small smile played on her face when she realized he was half asleep. Chuckling softly, walked a short distance away to lay down herself. Ember forgot a lot of the time that she had more energy than most, for she could run for hours and not wear down. Thinking that she might as well do something while he slept, she decided to hunt. The fae darted off on silent paws into the brush, catching the scent of the young buck she had tried to track earlier. As her eyes caught sight of her prey, she became the hunter she was. Approaching silently, she glided along the ground on her stomach. When she was at least three feet away, Ember leaped onto the buck's back and dug in her claws. The fae bit into his neck with all of her strength and twisted until she heard a snap. The buck started to fall to the ground so she jumped off of it, satisfied it was dead. To make sure her prey was completely dead, Ember bit into its neck until she found its windpipe, crushing it. After that, she picked it up and dragged it to the place she had left the male. Dropping in on the ground tiredly, she curled up and guarded her prey until the male woke up. |

| Panting, he laid on the ground. His heavy eyes stayed closed. The wind blew over his body, causing the fur to fly in array. Sleeping on the cool ground felt pretty good. His unconscious threw him into a dream state. He dreamed of chasing the rabbit down. She ended up leading the wolf to her hole, the place her family rested. Only this time Odin forced his way through the hole. He attacked the rodents, kicking his legs as he tried to get them. He bit and snarled, fighting to bring food for his pack. As he stretched out to reach, he sank his teeth into something. Quickly he woke up, ha eyes found exactly what he had bitten into. It was a dead deer. Releasing his grip, he licked his lips. Hunger flushed over his body as he started to eat some of the kill. He hadn't noticed her lying by him, too consumed in his hunger. |

| Ember's vision tunneled on the male eating some of the food she caught for their pack. All of the sudden the fae went from happy and relaxed to pissed off in an instant, as it often did because that was how it dealt with the torture she felt inside. A low growl erupted from her mouth as she stood slowly, her muscles rigid and her snowy eyes like glass. She had worked rather hard to capture that prey and there he was, eating it when she not given it to him in the first place. Coming near her dead prey, she lifted it and dragged it away from him, still growling softly. Ember had fed her old pack only to be disrespected and stomped on. She promised herself that would never happen.
Spinning around to face the male, she lowered her head and spoke, her voice was as sharp as a blade. "I kind of would like to be able to bring this kill back to my pack. I promised Azul I wouldn't disappoint him when I said I had valuable skills, and I'm not willing to break that promise." Just like that, in an instant she was calm and relaxed again. This time when she turned around to face her prey, it was to rip a leg off of the massive deer. Stepping towards him, she dropped it in front of him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, but I would like to prove my worth to my Alpha." A small, sorry smile played on her face as she looked at him. |
