Hunter Sieglinde

A pretty face. = 'Hides her deadly nature.' = "Do not tempt her with danger."

Standing atop a flat rock, the dark fae stood with her head held high. She'd never been in these parts of Agavos before which was surprising, considering her tendency to wander away from the pack. Peering down at the spring, she noted with genuine curiosity that the water surrounding her rock was astonishingly clear. Because of its crystalline surface, she could see her reflection perfectly. Tilting her head to stare at the angles of her face, she briefly wondered in a sudden moment of insecurity, 'Am I...attractive to others?'

She wasn't particularly fussed about the opinions of the general public, but there was only one wolf who she truly wanted to impress. Looking away from her reflection, her cheeks warmed in embarrassment at the thought of Altair. At first, she hadn't realised the profoundness of her feelings, believing that it was just part of the package that came with friendship. But as she became closer to him, she began recognising the signs that her feelings ran deeper than that of just friendship. Seeing him sent a surge of happiness through her and her heart skipped a beat with every one of his smiles. His mere presence brightened her day without fail. It was after coming to terms with her crush upon him when she felt it incredibly awkward to strike up a conversation. With his sole focus upon her, she found it hard to think straight and find the right words.

Thinking back to her previous encounters with the Delta, an affectionate smile spread across her lips, lightening up her features. She'd like to think that they'd meet again. Maybe she'd reveal her feelings in one of those meetings. At that, her smile dimmed slightly as she thought about confessing. What if he didn't reciprocate? What if it would be the end of their friendship afterwards because he would not accept her? What if there was someone else? All of these thoughts scared her and she couldn't fathom facing them. She would wait a little longer before telling him. Only after she was certain she wouldn't be hurt from it. Surely, nothing would happen before that.
ooc: Well, bring in the pain. ^^

THANKS TO DESOTO FOR THE IMAGE ON THIS TABLE!!

She walks. "She talks." She thinks.

The fae stalked through the lands. Despite her promotion, the world was a bit darker...at least that’s how it seemed to her. Breeze was haunted by the bear of these lands. Anger and resentment for the beast boiled deep within. First Newt, then Ariatisse...and now Altair too. Yet it should have been me. It was after me! Her brain would not stop replaying the situation, and even her duties could not shake the images from her mind. A giant brown furred beast, it’s muzzle scarred and one ear shredded, and the black form which had streaked towards them. No matter how much she kept herself busy, the grey she-wolf could only distract herself for short periods of time. A snarl of frustration curled her lips as she finished another patrol, her nose searching for any sign of the menace which had caused her so much pain. I will not let that dumb beast destroy my pack! She thought fiercely. What was her life worth if she did not make their losses count? She would not deserve the chance the Delta male had given her if she didn’t make the most of it. Her patrol had brought her to the edge of the border, near Siren Spring. Amber eyes raked over the land, as if daring the bear to show it’s ugly face. The birds sung overhead and small critters scuttling in the vegetation, so Breeze knew it wasn’t around. There were no unfamiliar scents, nor any signs of loners. With a satisfied nod to herself, the Elite would turn away from the borders to trot towards Siren Spring. The muscular female was in dire need of some relaxation time, and she knew it. Seeing the geysers in the distance made her somewhat happy, and she bounded out from the over of the trees, careful not to slip or skid on the rocky ground that led to the pool of hot water. It was hot out, but the wind in wet fur would be sure to cool her down and the warm water would help her relax. A yelp escaped her maw as the sun baked stones scorched her paws, prompting her to sprint towards the water, right past another wolf, and leap in without hesitation. For a moment the fae’s entire body was submerged before she went back up for air. With ear pressed against her head, Breeze gazed back towards where she had leapt from. On the shore stood Hunter Sieglinde, much to the Elite’s surprise. The fae seemed both anxious and happy. Just like when….Oh no!! A soft gasp escaped her as she thought of how well Sieglinde and Altair had gotten along. Did she know? Oh gosh, do I have to be the one to tell her? Maybe I’ll wait. The grey she-wolf thought. She quickly let out a sheepish smile, her upper body above the water while the relaxing warmth of the hot spring encased the rest of her body. "Oh hey Sieglinde! Sorry…the rocks were a bit hot so i decided to jump in….I didn’t see you there!” She called, trying to sound as cheerful, but only sort of succeeding.

Hunter Sieglinde

A pretty face. = 'Hides her deadly nature.' = "Do not tempt her with danger."
The scorching burn of the sun seared a hot beating upon her back. The summer heat had finally settled in and her dark fur took the brunt of the sun's light. Rather than reflecting the heat like the white wolves, she tended to absorb it. She felt the urge to fall asleep underneath the warmth, but shook herself out of the stupor, knowing the dangers of being out under the sun. Humming to herself, Sieglinde lay down atop the warm slab of rock, regarding the mild temperature to be rather nice. The tips of her paws dipped into the water and she sighed. Ah, this was comfortable, she thought with a smile on her face. Although she wouldn't be sleeping, she would be able to enjoy the small rest.

All was quiet, except for the sound of the dizzying heat buzzing in her head. It wasn't enough to disorientate her, but it was troublesome. Her peace did not last long when a feminine yelp shouted behind her. As she turned her head to see who it was, a dark blur streaked past her, diving into the water. The splash erupted onto her, drenching her fur and startling a scream out of her. Standing up abruptly, she shook her fur free of water droplets and steeled herself for whatever it was that had just dropped into the water. Ready to bear her teeth, she stopped when her eyes fell upon the figure in the water. Was that Breeze? Relaxing considerably, she breathed out a sigh of relief and gave a weak disapproving look.

Exhaling softly and shaking her head, she rolled her eyes and gave a fond smile towards the Elite. When Breeze spoke, her voice emitted waves of anxiety which worried the Huntress. However, shrugging it aside as being flustered, Sieglinde grinned while nodding. "A little water never hurt anyone." Feeling less agitated, the dark fae lay back down on her stomach, her eyes upon her friend in the water. Lips curled in a coy smile, her tail swished across the smooth stone as she said, "How are you? Anything exciting happen recently?" She wondered if it was a good idea to tell Breeze of her plans. The older female knew of her feelings for Altair, but she had never said anything of support or disapproval. They were good friends, so perhaps, it wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

It will be said that in Breeze told Sieglinde of Delta Altair's death and supported her packemate as best she could.
