Elder Thunder
Thunder sighed and glanced around at the forest. He had needed a good break from the bustle of the pack clearing. It was nice to get out, despite the light drizzle that had been going constantly all day. The brute had been quiet and reserved since Rose's untimely death, but he had still made his best efforts to hunt. My bones aren't too bad....yet. The male thought with a small satisfied smile. He was glad the pack had been determined to continue. He never would have dreamed he would lose his family so soon. Finding them had been his final quest, but now....what was he living for? The pack they called home....the pack I call home, and the friends I've found here. He decided. The cream colored brute ambled farther from the pack lands, not really thinking of where his paws were taking him. Soon however, he got the strange sense that the place was familiar. His blue gaze scanned the forest with curiosity. Have I been here before?
Slowly, the wolf proceeded until he reached the edge of the trees. Even as he could see the verdure thinning out, he knew exactly where he was. A small open area, high up on a small gently sloped mountain, was visible through past the last of the trees. This was Angel's Wake. It had been where he had first reunited with his siblings and met Sitka. For a moment the aging male just stood there, unsure of how he had ended up here of all places. He observed the clouds drifting, carrying the light rain away from him. Thunder smiled as he recalled how happy his sisters had been, how relieved he had been to see them again. The brute sighed and lowered his rump to rest on the damp grass, simply gazing out over the valley. He would be ok...they wouldn't want him to be depressed, right? The male couldn't let everyone down now. He wanted to help Sitka and Nnlya and Crystal and Emilia and all of the kind hearted wolves he called his packmates. The light pelted brute tilted his head skyward, not minding the refreshing drizzle of rain upon his muzzle, and let out a long howl. The song was bittersweet, of loss and new beginnings. It was one of sadness and yet also determination. It rang clear from atop the high spot at which he sat. After he finished, Thunder simply sat in silence, enjoying the peaceful quiet that cloaked the valley.
He walks. "He talks." He thinks.
Notes: Hope this is ok! My muse is almost non-existent.

alpha sitka we are the few, the believers

The clouded rainy day was calming, yet had a dreary feel. The pack was going full through with their daily duties. Everyone rushed around him or crawled into their dens to escape the rains. Summer rains were always his favorite. It was warm, but cool enough to not be overbearing. To escape his alpha duties for a little while, Sitka took himself for a walk. Padding though the forests with the damp soil slightly squishing beneath his paws. The birds could be seen fluttering between the fully leaved branches above. Soon, his mind was caught in thought as he made his way through the lands. His beloved Rose was always on his mind. Her untimely death was still lingering within Helidos, and or obvious reasons. They lost three leaders recently. Quinn to the jaws of Teren, Fenris to the insanity of losing his family, and Rose to the venom of an adder. Then Sitka stepped up and took the position in order to help Azul and Nnyla keep everything under control. They were very helpful in showing him the ropes of this high position thing and he was finally getting used to it. But in the back of his mind, he knew it wouldn't be easy forever. Teren still wanted to wipe Helidos off the radar. He would have to prepare for whatever it was Teren was going to throw at them, even at the cost of his life like the others before him. Before he knew it, he was in the neutral lands. One of them in particular was a place he held close to heart. Which was where his body had taken him. Approaching the cliff in which he remembered vividly meeting Thunder and Faith, his pale eyes caught a body there as well. The cream colored body was recognized immediately in the alphas mind. The last living relative of his dear Rose. Thunder, who was now an elder. He smiled and walked to the side of his brother. "Well, what brings you out here on this rainy day, dear brother?" He sat beside the older male and nudged his shoulder with a bit of a smirk. Looking over the cliff, a smile was brought to the ginger male's soul. These lands will always hold the memories of his loved ones. With the loss of Faith and Rose, both Thunder and Sitka were grieving heavily. Their hearts were weighed down by the boulders of sorrow. His heart longed for them to return, but he knew he would see them again in the other forest. Looking back to his old friend, Sitka realized he had a family here.

Elder Thunder
The male had been simply meditating, listening to the sounds of nature. He was lost in thought of the pack's current situation when a familiar russet wolf walked up beside him. Thunder dipped his head, ears flicked back with respect for Sitka. He was Alpha now, and the cream colored brute would give him the respect he clearly deserved. Thunder smiled warmly, happy to see him. Indeed they may not have been brothers by blood, but it seemed they were now bound by bonds. "Ah, so you found me Sitka. I needed a break from the bustle of the pack for a bit. It's good to clear the mind for a bit, wouldn't you agree?" The Elder turned his head to look at his packmate and leader. "I was simply wandering and my paws brought me here. How about you? How are you doing my friend? I haven't seen you much." He rumbled, his lips curving upwards in a smile as he received Sitka's friendly nudge. For a moment the coppery male seemed to be lost in thought as he gazed out at the beautiful view, then his pale blue gaze turned back to Thunder. The older wolf gave him a nudge in return. The gesture was not something he was used to, although he liked it. He never truly had close ties with anyone but Rose....and his deceased mate. Thunder smiled again, his bright blue eyes fixed on the Alpha.
He walks. "He talks." He thinks.

Through every dark night, there is a brighter day
The alpha's eyes were kind and loving towards the other male. They may not be blood, but the experiences and moments they shared with the same wolves gave them an inseparable bond of brotherly trust. it was rare to find someone like Thunder, that you could trust no matter what. He did consider the elderly male his brother, and always will. "Oh, yes. Things have been rather hectic recently with the intake of new members and rebuilding after all the devastation in the recent events. But hopefully we can gain some assistance from Agavos. That pack led by the rogue-gone-alpha. I spoke with a very odd, but respectful healer of his who agreed to mention a possible alliance with Desmond."" He smiled, proud of his organization with the attempts of reclaiming the former glory of Helidos. The pack deserved a new start after everything they had been through in recent times. It was rough for everyone; nobody went untouched by the tragedies. Although things were still lingering with the grief and sadness of their losses, they stood strong. He knew his pack would get through this. He had all the help be could get. Nnyla, Drogo, Thunder, Azul, and all the others who he would have to learn the names of. He had faith in them and their abilities to bring them back to the better days. With the new wolves entering the lands, the numbers were slowly increasing. But they seres till weak from the events. he needed to get them back into the midst of not letting Teren take everything away from them. That he would not and can not defeat Helidos. Not now, not ever. Sitka was determined to bring them back out on top. They deserved it, every single one of them. Especially the two remaining pups who lived in the pack. The two remaining children of Drogo and Nnyla. They were the future of Helidos and it was up to them to keep everything going. It was their free spirit and optimistic views that would encourage the older wolves to keep going. His attention snapped back to thunder as he asked of his reassigning for being out so late at night. "Restless night, honestly. Wasn't able to get a wink of sleep in that den all alone. It's quite odd to go from sharing a den with one or more wolves to having one large one to yourself. It's warm and comfortable, but it can be quite lonely sometimes." Chuckling, he looked back over to the cream colored brute, with a slight smile. "How have you been holding up, pal?" Sympathy filled his pale blue eyes as he peered to the older brute. he had lost both of his sisters, and Sitka knew it took a toll on him. He had to make sure Thunder was okay and do everything in his power to make sure he was. In Sitka's mind, Thunder was the last of his family. True family.
