The feeling of the soft and squishy moss on the forest floor always made Khane lift his paw,thinking he just stepped on a small animal. Continuing on his way, Khane finds himself in Eden's Hollow, another location his eyes haven't seen yet. The brute searched and explored his surroundings, ideas of only training popping up in his mind, using the trees as training obstacles to practice his speed and maneuverability. He smiled as he wandered around the darken forest that created a creepy ambiance, attracting the brute for a strange reason that he couldn't comprehend. After wondering a majority of the creepy forest, a grumbling sound emitted from the brute's stomach. Khane sighed as he looked around, ears perked to listen for the unexpected prey that go about their lives in Eden's Hollow.

Without searching for long, a small hare revealed itself from a bush. Khane, staying perfectly still for a brief moment, lowered his large frame, a smirked forming on his lips. Movements slow and precise, the brute brings himself closer to the hare that lied a yard away. A pause of silence stopped the male, his ears flickered to the sound of a crack, the hare turning it's head away from Khane towards the sound. The male's eyes were wide, starring down the hare as if it would kill the small fragile being right then and there. A flex of muscle showing from the hare's back legs brought Khane to react almost immediately. Pushing off the ground with his hind legs and launching himself forward at the hare that begins to, at first, run towards the large grey-brown mixed wolf. Jaws open wide, his canines dig slightly into the hare's fur. The hare's feet kicking at his snout make the large brute growl as a paw lands on the small body of his prey. A quick and swift motion to the side, rips through to the hare's flesh, blood splattering the side of a tree next to it. Feeling satisfied with his kill, Khane begins to eat his catch, only to stop to remember what made the cracking sound.

As Shadow woke from her slumber and stretched out her limbs. She stepped out of her den and over looked the forest that surrounded it. Eden's Hollow was her haven. Since it reminded her of her old home with her mother. Her keen eyes scanned the area as her head poked out of the mouth of her den. Granted Eden's Hollow is where her den was, she hadn't seen it all. So exploring was afoot and today would be the day she did so. Jumping down from the small ledge that kept her den up and off the ground.

Her large paws slightly sunk into the moss as she landed from her leap. Her eyes, ear, and nose were all working. To catch the scent of or spot anything that wished to cause her harm. But she seen nor smelled nothing of the sort. Somewhat relaxed she padded on, for she was feeling the hunger for a meal creeping up on her.

As she briskly padded around on silent paws, working her senses, sniffing the air and ground as she went about her way. Soon she spotted a small brown rabbit in the undergrowth. Shadow went into her hunter reflexes and lowered herself to the ground, her ears her perked forwards, as well as her eyes were locked on the small meal to come. Her mouth began to salivate from hunger. But just as she was about to bolt, a large grey brute had jumped and snapped the neck of the rabbit. Shadow stood on her paws and silently walked up behind him. On her guard and alert for any sudden movement. She could smell the Helidos scent on him. But that didn't ease her none as she walked towards him, accidently stepping on a stick making a low sound whip though the air. She stopped walking immediately. As she waiting for him to turn around.

Hairs bristle across his neck with a chill going up his spine of the unknown that stands behind him. A low sounding snap emitted from behind his vision, the scent of Helidos and its land hits his nostrils. The male was ready to growl at his guest but the scent of his pack keep his fangs from baring. Khane took a deep breath, turning his head slightly so that his left eye could catch a glimpse of the wolf behind him. As his body turned, Khane raised his head with ears perks and eyes staring at the fae that watched him. The brute's tail raised to his appropriate rank of warrior, his muscle relaxes somewhat after looking at the fae for a moment.

Thoughts bounce around such as "Who is she?", "Why did she sneak up behind you?", "Is she hostile?". The last thought almost made the male chuckle, if she was of Helidos she wouldn't attack in the first place, although many members have left Helidos and turned to Erenxy. Khane, still feeling unsure, managed to smile lightly at the fae and show relaxation. His maw parting as he spoke with a robust voice, "Hello, who are you and what are you doing sneaking up on me?" After his question, Khane couldn't help but feel something odd, something wrong with the question that he just asked as if an opposite choice would be better. Khane shaked the thought and focused back on the fae, awaiting an answer or a reaction to the least. The smell of blood tainting the male's nose, smelling...sweet to him.

Shadow stopped and watched as the hairs on the brute raise, her tail and ears fall back. Her head lowered as his tail and head raises high in the air. She bowed her head to him in greetings and respect. "I'm sorry to startle you sir, but I think we were going after the same prey. I saw the rabbit just about the time you caught it. But I don't want it, you rightfully caught it", her voice was low, but not shaken as she spoke to him. Still watching the brute she sat down slowly, waiting to see if he would react and be aggressive towards her. "Oh, I'm so rude, my name is Shadow. I'm a hunter of the Helidos pack. I can smell the Helidos scent on your pelt. May I ask your name as well, I'm fairly new here and haven't met many of this pack", she slightly grinned at him, trying to lighten the mood. As she sat there her ears lifted and perked towards him waiting for his answer to her question. Her tail resting neatly on her large paws as her grin turned to a small smile.

A wash of relief spreads over Khane, his body relaxes as a smile appears across his features. With that feeling, Khane bowed in respect to the fae just as she did for him.His ears perked as the fae began to speak, apologizing for the startle and stating that the rabbit is his to take, but Khane didn't find it fair in his eyes but the fae spoke once more. This time it was her name, Shadow, that brought a smile to Khane's face because he used to know a Shadow a long time ago. With that however, she is also the new hunter for the pack, and that is what made Khane take a step back from the rabbit. Khane looked at Shadow with his relaxed smile as he watched her sit down slowly, with a muscle twitching for a second across his foreleg while watching her movement. Khane felt a little embarrased by this act but decided to not change his expression. With thoughts put away, the brute spoke firmly like he always did while laying himself down on the mossy floor of Eden's Hollow, "This rabbit is yours to take, you are the hunter and help feed this pack, it would be wrong in my eyes to take your duty. Besides, I'm not really hungry." With that Khane's eyes widen as he forgot to introduce himself. "Oh, excuse me of my ignorance, my name is Khane, a pleasure to meet you Shadow." A smile washes over Khane's face after loosing it in the conversation and feeling rather silly of missing the introduction in the beginning. But something was bothering him, perhaps is because he didn't want to be rude to the new hunter by offering such small prey when hunters, as a group, go after much larger ones to feed the pack. How stupid of him, but nonetheless Khane feels confident that Shadow and him will have good relations in the future. With a silent deep breath, Khane can smell the blood covering his muzzle.

Watching as a smile crawled across the brutes face, her tail slightly thumped against the ground. Happy he wasn't the type to jump and be rude. For she didn't like it, but since he was of higher rank she would have to have bowed down if he would have jumped and went to scorn her. But Shadow was greatful he smiled at her instead. She listened as he then spoke again, telling her his name and that it was a pleasure to meet her. Her head lifted a little as well as her ears as she listened to him speak to her. He told her the rabbit was hers to take, and that it was wrong to take a hunters duty away from them. She nodded in agreement,"I thank you Khane. For I haven't ate in the last two days. I've been rather busy with other important things. Such as hunting for the pack altogether. Granted I should eat as well if I am to support the pack with food." She sighed and got up, slowly padding over to retrieve the small meal. Then she looked up to him as she stood there, placing the rabbit at her paws. "I'm sorry to tell you but I must be going. I have a busy day of hunting to do. Please don't think I'm being rude. But I hope to meet you again in the future. It was a pleasure to meet you Khane, warrior of Helidos", with that she picked up the small rabbit and turned. Bolting off to her favorite spot to eat by the water.

The new wolf in the pack slid along, looking around for any kind of predator, and a good place to live in. Just has she was about to chose a already made den, a black wolf jumped out. There was a large cave nearby, pretty high up on a ledge, but not high enough for a grown wolf to be killed. Aria looked around it, and noticed small ledges on the side, that could let her climb up. Hesitantly, Aria moved up on them and noticed that she could easily jump up on the cave. It wasn't as large as she had thought it was, in tallness. She umped up on the cave and looked around, taking in the sights. It would be a good lookout, but not if it wasn't safe inside as well.

The entrance had a fallen boulder blocking it, but there was a small hole, about her size, in the side. A rock, probably another fallen one, was blocking it loosely. Aria nudged it into the cave, and slid inside. It was dark, but dim sunlight filled the cave, and sniffed the air. Water was inside, and Aria looked around for it.

It was a small stream, not anything to be excited about, but Aria didn't care. She marked the den and nudged the rock away, and her nose poked an sharp edge. She jumped out and nudged the rock to her, before reaching her head n and biting it, pulling it into the hole. She sniffed the air, hunger almost overcoming her. Aria slid away to the hunting grounds.
