Chaos trotted slowly through the dark forest, steps in beat with each breath he took. His muscles moved beneath his thick multi-colored pelt, his large form an easy thing to spot despite the dark of night. The stars shined brightly in the midnight sky, giving him just enough light to see the twisting path in which he tread. Subtle thoughts swirled through his mind as he moved, ones about the invasion, about his family. It still stung that he hadn't been able to save them, that he hadn't been strong enough to fight off some half starved, mangy flea-bags. But it was far to late to change anything from his sorrowful past, and there was no reason to get upset about it now. Even as he cast the thoughts from his mind, a dark glint remained in his hazel eyes, one that seemed sharp enough to cut. He paused, lifting his nose to the air as many scents of other wolves reached his nostrils. A pack. He thought in a rather dark manner, eyes flashing as memories of all the packs he had met flashed within his mind, causing a shiver to shoot down his spine. He was attacked mostly by then, they casting him away as if he was an old piece of carcass. He still yearned to join a pack though, and so he continued forward with a slightly stiff stance, the scents getting stronger as he continued until he got to what he suspected to be the packs boarders. Chaos scanned the area with wary eyes, ears perked forward as he searched for any sign of a member close by but he didn't have such luck. He took a deep breath, relaxing his stiff stance before lifting his large cranium to the sky and releasing a long, loud howl telling the members of his presence. He finished by breaking it off, standing there in a lower stance than he had been deciding it was best if he didn't want to appear like he was challenging the authority of any member of the pack that came to answer his call, and awaited the arrival of a member.
