Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Empty
PostSubject: Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Icon_minitimeNovember 27th 2013, 20:52

The fae fluttered her lashes lightly open to be greeted with the shimmering light of a thin white blanket to stretch over the ground - flakes that fall from the sky above peeking their journey's to a stop to when their ends touched the surface. A gasp of air blew away from her lips as she awed at the view from her den's mouth. The snow was faint, and not sticking thankfully, just collecting senselessly amongst the rest to wherever it would fall. They caused her eyes to be reflected by the color, providing to the burning flames inside them to a crisp faint harvest orange. During the cold night, the female squirmed within her dreams, finding it difficult to sleep, to only receive an hour tops of rest. It was always best to get some sleep after spending an adventure of events, was it not? She asked herself these things, watching as the wind patterns shifted outside her den to blow the white flakes away from the entrance. It had been two, no, yesterday since she had seen the obsidian fellow she happen to wander upon in the mists of luck. Thankfully for him, she was able to both have the opportunity in joining his hunt and feast with him of his meal. Even if their greeting was short, it was still nice to have at least one friend here she could relate with. That was always a benefit, she thought.

Lifting her muzzle from her paws, Cliche turned her ears forwards before rising herself completely from the ground, huffing once before ducting her head slightly into the mouth to look around the clearing. It was empty, and almost dead to her eyes. Not a sound in sight was registered to her triangular ears that rotated and flicked around for greater measure. Now that her paw had healed, she was best to get back to finding the lasts of herbs before the season really set in and washed them out. Her supply was strong, but there wasn't anything wrong with being safe. Cliche found that the coast was clear, dismissing the idea of herb hunting for the afternoon when its warmer to enjoy the moment. Creeping slowly, the fae looked around herself, waving the end of her tail slightly behind her ankles until she met the clearing's center. As her eyes peered up to the light grey sky, she smiled and wagged her tail excitedly. Being so happy, the wolf pranced and kicked her legs happily in the melting snow, letting the flakes that danced around the air to pile into the shades of her light colored coat. A laugh lightly made its way out of her mouth as she enjoyed the moment, fulfilling it even if it were an empty place as the skies rained down their crystals to the rich soil beneath her paws. Managing to stand on her hind legs for a few moments, she let out a delighted song from her lips before reaching the floor with her front paws, leaving it to last shortly after.

Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Icon_minitimeNovember 28th 2013, 04:08

Rising from his slumber, Tye stretched inside his den and with a shake of his head, trotted outside. The morning coldness hit him like a charging bear, sinking through his fur to wrap around his skin. Admittedly it was less painful than a charging bear but still, it made him shiver on the inside. He stood there while snow-flakes spiraled down onto his head and muzzle, his mind still hazy with sleep. After wishing the healer a pleasant sleep he had retreated to his den resting his aching muscles for the journey back had been long and without pause. Then he had succumbed to sleep, his dreams filled with burning amber eyes and craggy, pointy mountains. That had been new and he knew what the cause was. The healer Cliche. She had lingered on his mind even while he had been sleeping. He had never met anyone like her before. He could speak easily with her and she was adventurous enough to do things other healers usually wouldn't for the sake of fun or excitement. It felt good to know he had a friend like that, a comrade that wasn't a gruff brute or hard-worn female. He had made friends with many of those and Cliche was a breath of fresh air. He glanced over the dens, scanning the area for her cream-coloured form while pondering her eyes. Why had her eyes appeared in his dreams? He still couldn't solve that puzzle. All he knew was that he wanted to find out more about her for he had only retrieved a name but no information to ascribe it to.

Tye heard a laugh echo throughout the air. He sniffed the air, a familiar scent drifting into his nose. It was her. He headed in the general direction, brushing aside snow and dirt with his paws. He caught a glimpse of snow-flakes flying into the air in a messy pile and a creamy tail. Tye slowed down, a black shadow in a white land-scape. He could see her now and stopped entirely when he was behind her, just one feet. and he smiled slightly as she sung the melody flowing through his ears like silk. He watched her silently, amused but at the same time marveling at how so utterly pure she seemed in that moment. A snapshot of unfettered beauty in all its purity and sheer radiance, he would've called it if it were a portrait. He waited a few more moments before speaking, his voice clear and smooth, "Good morning having fun there?"

Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Icon_minitimeNovember 29th 2013, 09:22

Sorry with the change in thread name. ^^; I felt this one fit better to the situation.

The voice that carried with familiarity sent the least pit of worry to her mind before she could turn around and see the identity of the wolf she already knew so well. Her smile and eyes shined beautifully with the surroundings melting blanket of frost, though as it also made her coast slightly dampen, she did not care, "Twas too radiant to resist basking in." Lowering her tail to relax against her hind legs and drag the tip against the icy floor, the female neared closer to the Warrior, respectfully bowing just slightly lower to the ground before rising back up to her normal structure. Encased with a body of a brute, he held a tall height compared to her - gifted with a personality one could never deny if they had a heart and real brain to call functional, as well as the wonderful color of obsidian black to be melted into his thick pelt that covered his muscles underneath. Cliche could not keep her eyes from staring, the harvest specks of flames that burned in a spiritual dance around her irises flickered with a joyful light as her features brightened in the presence of the Warrior. She was glad to see that it had been him to sneak up on her, but it always also her fault for not paying attention to the nearby scents. She would have to remember that for next time, then, "Good morning as well, Warrior Tye. How're you feeling from yesterday, have the wounds healed and your body regained with its strength over night?" Training her eats to turn at a random direction slowly, Cliche took one more satisfying look of the male, exposing her fascination upon the brute, but not a word to be escaped from her lips.

As snowflakes came down upon the two wolves, she watched as some would glide on through the air - like dancers dressed in white gracefully twirling around the stage or as a flock of doves flying overhead to welcome them to the season. This was the season of harsh times and memories for the young fae, ones she chose not to speak of, but knew sometime or another it would be brought up into a conversation, eventually that is. Hopefully until then, she would be able to enjoy the lighter falling of snow till it lasted, peeking up at them as they flew, but soon again returning to the male's hypnotic hues, "I would hope for you to of slept well last night. Unfortunately I could not, but that is fine with me. I had a wonderful time yesterday with you, Tye. Probably one of the best in a long time..." As the words cooed slowly from her soft voice, Cliche lowered her haunches to the ground with a light thud once she had shaken out her glossy light colored pelt to a finish. Already she could begin to feel the effects of the melting snowflakes start to lower her body temperature as some of the hairs on her back started to stick to her skin. Closing her eyes and leaning her head forwards, her mouth widened to bare open her clean fangs to release a long howl-like yawn. Mating season was now in play, but she had no intentions to start her round of flirtatious manner to males that did not care for the kind. It was useless, so she thought of the probability of there being a lucky shot for next year, but it was a doubtful one to the fae. No brute to come from this pack would ever want a fae that both healed individuals for the better and treated with such friendly attitude. Cliche knew that much.

Silently Tye agreed, well for the most part. It was radiant but Tye could take it or leave it, as they said. He chalked his casual indifference down to his nefarious past. The winters he had experienced had been spent in two ways. One, was escaping his cousins' and brother's many attempts to bury him alive or shove him into the river to see how long it would take to create a wolf ice-block. Another, when he had escaped his pack, was tracking prey to kill and haul back to his den then fending off other predators or lone wolves that wanted to take the prey. Between hiding out in crevices and setting up traps to avoid and distract his cousins and watching for the telltale signs of a roving nose he hadn't the time to bask. Now however, he could. He was partially inclined because the atmosphere was right with Cliche. Some pricks of pain stabbed his muscles, leftover from yesterday. He folded his ears back and stretched by bringing his forelegs forwards in front of his torso and lowering his upper body until it was inches from the ground, loosening his muscles. Straightening he nodded, "Very much thanks to you. And what about you? Has your paw healed?" He cast a glance down to the aforementioned limb, as if checking to see if it was whole again and not bleeding
"I slept peacefully," He replied. His eyes flicked to hers, a shred of concern darting across them then disappeared as he figured she was okay. She appeared to be. His ears perked at her next words, sub-consciously straightening. Somehow, that made him feel pleased. To him it had just been a variation of a regular outing but made much more fun with the addition of the female healer. It would remain distinct in his mind as the day he had met a very unique, very vibrant individual.

He closed the gap between them, licking the side of her muzzle after she finished yawning partly to shock her into waking up and partly to tease her. He had never heard a howl-yawn before. Quite the sight. Moving back a little until they were a respectful distance apart he said slowly,"I share the same sentiment. As you're still missing out on sleep I guess we can stay here for now. The food storage is still at a suitable level. I probably won't have to hunt until later" He paused. There was something tangible in the air. Not the winter cold or the air but something else, like electricity. He was aware mating season was under-way but he was not used to the feelings that accompanied it. Tye was now almost three years old, the perfect age to participate. If he were more astute or knowledgeable he would've recognized his feelings. As such, he would have to rely on nature to take its course. Hopefully nature pushed him towards him realizing the tingling he was currently feeling wasn't due to the cold. "So I told you about my dark past. What about you?"He asked, lying down next to her in the snow.

Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Icon_minitimeNovember 30th 2013, 14:01

Her cheeks flushed beneath her coat as her muzzle was caressed by the warmth of his tongue, helplessly giggling quietly to herself as she lowered her face to sheepishly look away near her shoulder. The warrior smelt of elm trees and maple, a sweet scent to ease her mind instantly back to look towards him once again with a soft smile, "You're more than welcome, Tye. My paw is fine, I assure you." Her eyes slowly peered down at her paws, shifting her weight between each individual pad to ensure that there was no trace of pain left in them to fix, "Just a little rest was all I needed, I suppose." Her mind was fuzzed with confusion then, curious as to why it was overwhelmed so easily by the male's actions, but containing herself to remain still. The season provided little to her benefits, as it was a terrible time for the fae, though now that she was finally old enough to participate in the flirtatiousness games, a funny feeling began to pinch at the end of her tail to react to the male before her. She didn't enjoy the feeling, but liked it as well just as equally. Nervously, Cliche dried her throat to speak, shaking off any ideas that would come to mind and her thoughts to stay inside rather than out. None of this was ever needed unless she chose to, not now, Tye was only one male, there could be more if she tried at it, "At least then we'll have some time to discuss together before we depart our ways. I seem to have a short planned schedule for the morning, so when you're being called to your duties, don't object to say anything. I'm sure I can find something else to occupy myself while you're away.." She smiled awkwardly, trying to make the situation a little less uncomfortable as her words were to try and talk him out of the idea of flirting. Not that she didn't mind the attention, it was nice to receive from such a kind male, but why did she have the feeling it wouldn't always be like this?

Watching him lay down, Cliche remained seated so that her fur would not become even more dampened than it already was, closing her eyes shut with a deep breath to relieve the energy coming from inside to die. She knew this was going to happen, and knew she had mentioned nothing of hers in return before as she was too busy slipping down the rocks back home. Pursing her lips, her eyes slowly reopened to a dark amber shade, dimmed down the more she went back in time from the beginning. Where was there to begin, she thought, "I came from a single litter from the Deltas of my previous pack. When I was of age, my parents provided the necessities of early training, and when asked of what I wanted to learn, I chose healing over fighting. I was much too small compared to most other faes in our pack, and loved making other wolves feel better - to make them smile than fighting them for rank." A small smile went to her features, clouding her eyes back from the past as they stared off into the distance. Watching the snowflakes fall from the heavens, her grin slowly faded and her throat began to dry, "In the winter... our pack was struck with a strong illness, where I worked difficulty with little help to cure the weak, and failed to see my parents die, and the pack fade to a couple left standing.."

Trailing off her words, Cliche flattened her ears and tucked her tail under neath her leg slowly, bending her snout down towards the ground till they met his eyes, "I was the only healer left, so they put me in charge of healing the rest back to health after being mentored by a wise newcomer, and with luck, the Elites were put as our new Alphas. A few months later, our pack began to repopulate again, and things returned to normal. It was nice, but like always, nothing bright shines forever.." She sighed again, only slower to clear and collect her thoughts, choking out a breath of air as the embers in her eyes ignited like the flames from her past, the scar under her hind leg burning around the edges, "Around summer, the meadow of our territories went up in flames by dry lighting, and the forest drove us out... I was the last to run, for I was stuck trying to save a pup, but sadly.. it slipped from my grasp before I could jump over the burning logs.. and died within them.. I haven't seen my family since.. nor any others of the survivors. And, two months later, I came here to be greeted by the obsidian Master to our ranks, another warrior by the name of Irrationality..." Her eyes turned to meet Tye's then, prying back a smile as she leaned her head in closer to nuzzle under his neck, muffling loudly for his ears to hear before she could pull away, "And then I met you in the mountain pass.." The end of her tail twitched with a slight shard of happiness left in her, and the invisible weight that pulled down on her shoulders seemed to feel as if they were lifted off. A rumble of content growled inside her chest, filling her lungs with the cold air, and shivering from the cold around her.

"You seemed to be doing well on the cliffs by risking infection before I came along so I have no doubt about that," He said, teasing. Listening while lying down on the snow comfortably, there was no noticeable change in his expression. His head was resting on the ground, the left foreleg fitting in perfectly under his muzzle. The other fore-leg was stretched out in front of him while his body curved slightly, tail splayed out around his back fore-paws in a careless motion. With his expression, which was a mask of calmness and a self-assured quiet confidence and the sunlight gleaming off his black pelt, he could have passed for a statue. His eyes, which reflected the morning sunlight in muted orange and yellow against a canvas of piercing blues, gazed directly ahead of him at the mass of snow-caked trees that was in front of them. Overall, he looked like a picture of utter tranquility and peace, undisturbed and basking in the sunlight that graced the pair with its warmth. Snow had gathered on the branches of the trees making them droop with the weight. He watched them, all the while listening. At first glance he could be mistaken for being indifferent, cold but his head was inclined towards her. Tye found he liked listening to her voice. It carried so many different tones and certain inflections he himself didn't naturally possess. It was a pity the words that were used with them weren't as delightful.

He turned his head, hearing her voice trail off only to see her lowering her muzzle to his. Again he found himself staring into what seemed to be the depths of an ever-burning flame. This time, it was like the last embers of a diminishing wildfire. Tye would have felt some kind of sympathy for the loss of her parents and pack but perhaps his heart had turned to stone or some kind of partial stone. A tragedy was a tragedy but such things were the way of the world and he had understood that a long time ago. Still he admired her determination and grit. And he saw it in her eyes when they flared to life again as she relayed how she came into the pack. She was strong and she knew how to survive in a pack full of monsters by giving them pleasure. It was ironic. Perhaps the sweetest could turn out to be the dangerous? Sometimes brute strength didn't win a battle. He blinked as she nuzzled him, surprised and a little bit confused as to why he felt like he'd just been dropped into a freezing river. A warm, freezing river if that made any sense. He responded in kind by slowly nuzzling back, briefly but happily breathing in her scent. There was that feeling again but he ignored it for now. "Well I'm glad you found good company...for the most part I guess. Let's hope you have a better ending here than your former pack." His voice came out slightly taut, as if it were stretched a little by the swirling sensations in his body from her touch and scent. He said, "Didn't you say you were partially trained? Perhaps you would like to play a game to test your skills?"

Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Stained Glass Eyes [Tye] Icon_minitimeDecember 6th 2013, 22:08

[ Sorry its not all that long. >_< Kinda did it in a rush. ]

Her ears turned backwards, rolling off her tongue a long sigh as she peered deeply into his eyes, "One can only hope that would happen. Though for the time being, I only wish to live my days doing what I do best, and eventually changing the minds of many to look towards the brighter side... if there is one, that is." That was what she believed was the rightful thing to do in her life, that that was to be her one and only goal if not to find a potential mate before her final years of living. Her nose tickled when a snowflake was caught inhaled inside, twitching her snout till her eyes started to roll towards the center and she leaned on her haunches. Holding tightly, she tensed, but it only made it worse as she let out a loud sneeze, shaking her head side to side to rid the little pain it gave her, "Fiddlesticks that hurt," She thought to herself aloud, blinking her vision back to normal to where they met Tye's. A giggle rang from her lips then and there at herself, pinning her ears against her head as she tried to look away - cheeks flushed a little from before of her actions and more of now. Her face drifted to peer down at the ground near her feet, slowly rising to then hear the warrior's dark tone wash over her hearing, causing her to look up with a curiosity lurking within her.

From her eyes, he resembled a fallen angel, or that of a demon who's been put through rough obstacles and scorched to a black as dark as his fur. But his eyes shown the color of the sky, a true blue to match that of the devil's himself, whereas her own were relatively mesmerized as a burning fire to fill the caverns of Hell itself. He asked upon her abilities suited differently upon the works of healing and mending what-nots, which made her wonder as to how much he truthfully wanted to know about her. Arching a furred brow, she did not question him as to why he asked such a question, but only did the polite thing in nodding and replying to complete honesty, "Yes, that is true. I was taught the basics of survival in hunting little game and searching for food in a variety of terrains when needed. I may have not been the smartest in that category, but for I am only a small fae, it surely benefits myself through speed to keep up with the pesky game that wanders on pass." Cliche did not feel best at the request he asked secondhand to that part, but it didn't hurt to try at least. She did after all help take down the one bull towards the mountains, the worst thing she could do was make the creature run away. She nodded simply, "I'll accept that challenge, though, if I am to impress you.." The fae leaned closer, brushing her nose close to his, but far enough so they were barely touching, "What's in it for me, dear warrior?" Her tail curled around her tightly to hug her flank, muffling a warm growl from her insides for him to even hear as she secretly was becoming anxious of the idea he pursued. She smiled, perking her ears skywards as she waited for a reply.

Occ: Don't worry about it. It's long enough

It is said that the window to the soul are the eyes where the innermost emotions could be seen, dwelling and open for the world to see if someone really looked. Tye’s were as clear as crystal but revealed as much as the fathomless waters of the ocean at night. So when she spoke of living for her craft and changing minds to look towards a brighter side he just nodded without any particular emotion. Tye wondered what that brighter side was. To him, life was cruel and unforgiving. Animals did what they could to survive, wolves included. One wrong foot could lead to falling into the river and drowning. Or a misguided adventure into a cave could lead to enraging a mother bear. In any case, fighting was the only way of survival. It was the unwritten law of the wild, to kill or be killed so there were no spots of sunshine to him. The brighter side of life was an elusive creature, one that many chased their entire life-times and often grasped but never conquered. Yet when he looked into Cliché’s eyes he could believe, if only for a moment that such a thing existed and it could be obtained. He had very little precious memories of time spent in his former pack but already he was starting to form some right now such as the image of Cliché’s face when she sneezed when she sucked in the snow-flake by accident. He kept it locked away, treasured and cherished in his memory banks along with the odd phrase until a mental note that said cute.

A fair assessment, Tye thought as she answered. She used what skills and attributes she had to her advantage. In the game that was life it was all anyone could possibly use. He watched her, anticipating, waiting. Even though she was a healer she had steel in her. A lesser wolf would probably have backed down immediately or refused out of fear when confronted with such a request. It wasn’t expected after all. Tye would have understood because healers weren’t accustomed to these kinds of things and it was reasonable, sane to value one’s own safety over risk of injury. Only a stupid wolf would make a decision without considering all the consequences. Though emotions interfered with thinking at times. When she leaned closer, feeling her nose lightly graze his and her growl purred through his ears stopping his heart for a second, he re-considered for just a brief moment. He wanted to pounce on her, which surprised him because the times he had thought that had been followed by thoughts of kill, kill! This time, it was followed by the thoughts of wanting to play with her. That was confusing. So he pushed those thoughts aside and stood up, under-side caked with fresh snow that melted and pointed his muzzle towards the trees,
“Further down from here there’s a mother bear. She has a stock-pile of food in her den and at this time of the morning she’s probably sleeping. You just have to sneak inside and steal one piece of food without getting caught,” He explained. He finished, a slow wicked grin unfurling. “As for what’s in it for you? You get to learn the fun of how to curb fear. Is that enough for you, dear healer or can your heart not take it?”
