| On steady paws Tye crunched the remnants of ice, scattered sparsely in broken fragments over the forest landscape. Already blades of grass were peeking out from the ice that had suffocated the soil and earth in winter's cruel grasp. Now the leaves of the trees were healthy and green again, the ground rife with grass that breathed life and lushness to the scenery. Even the air smelt like spring with all the pollen from the flowers. The fragrance of the ever-greens growing around him and mixture of damp earth and leftover frosted ice blasted his senses like a fog-horn. Not only that, he could smell the fawn residing here. Tye had never seen so much bright green in his life. It was intensified by the morning sun gleaming down which made every piece of frost glimmer, every leaf and blade of grass shine light green. For just a second he regretted coming here. Everything was too clean and pristine, too perfect. If he so much as dipped his paw into the massive lake beside him he felt it would destroy this world into irreparable pieces. The lake too was impeccable. The water was as blue as the skies and the skies were as blue as the water with puffy, white clouds. It was like heaven decided to make this place its permanent sanctuary.
Tye slowed to a stop, gazing across the vast surface of the lake at the opposite side. There was the same exact cluster of trees on the other side, each one identical to the other with frost dripping off the branches and plopping onto the earth. Looking down into the lake Tye was met with his reflection. A healthy, robust wolf with shaggy fur and a pair of ice cold blue eyes peered back up at him. His fur was teased apart into wisps, distorted by the water making him appear bigger than he really was. Tye was by no means a big wolf, no bigger than a normal male wolf his age but he had strength in his posture and an unflinching steel in his eyes that were like ice carved out from the Antarctic. This place was like heaven and he was the demon who came from the depths of hell to shatter its picturesque scenery. An innocent demon whose only purpose had been to venture into the unknown but a demon who had stepped out of his home nevertheless. |

| Katyusha began to stir slowly, fur damp from the melting snow and dripping slush forming a little pile around her. The huntress had spent yet another night away from the pack land. Katyusha had very little back at the pack land to return home to, friends, a mate, any sort of family, so very frequently she would spend days away, hunting or tracking prey and only returning to drop off kills or inform the lead hunters if she found something larger than she could handle. As the sun began to gleam down on her thick fur, the small wolfess would sprawl out in the bushes, tail twitching lightly behind her, eyes peaking open to the bright world around her, mind quickly coming back into the world as the first signs of cold slush met her hind legs, the huntress pulling herself back in, and quickly pulling herself to her paws, eyes scanning the area around her for a moment before standing fully.
As the wolfess stood, her ears would perk suddenly, head turning quickly to see the figure of a young male several meters away, at the edge of the water. Carefully the small fae would drop into a more crouching position, the quick shuffle causing a decent amount of noise as the fae excepted he had heard her, and stepped reluctantly from the brush head low and fur bristling slightly, honestly looking nervous against the larger male "Who are you?" she growled, hoping she could get the jump on him before he realized he was a lot bigger than her. |

| Symmetry in stop-motion animation is what Tye would've attributed to this place. He lowered his head to drink then paused as he heard the sound of grass bristling against flesh and fur and earth shifting. A scent wafted through his nose, entering his senses. Three words flashed through his head. Pack-mate? No. Prey? No. Other predator? No. Which left enemy wolf. Fascinating. He raised his head, ears flicking and looking this way and that for the source of the noise. As expected he saw the culprit, weaving her way strategically through the foliage. He watched as the moving mass of whitish, brown and grey-black fur making its way through the grass in a display of attempted stealth. So it was a wolf from Helidos. As she stood up he observed her with cool piercing eyes. He had no idea what she was. A hunter or warrior by the looks of things but he had never seen one so nervous. Perhaps she was new to the role. Seasoned fighters didn't get nervous when confronting other wolves. He supposed he could use her nervousness to his advantage if the need arose. His tail swished the air idly in thought as she growled at him. He looked around again then glanced back at his new companion. She didn't seem like a threat and they were in neutral grounds. Still, they were enemies in the end. He lifted his tail slowly, growling low in his throat as a warning to the female then turned back to the water's edge.
"You can't tell by my scent? I'm your sworn enemy one of the beasts from Erenyx," Tye said. One ear flicked to the left, listening intently to her for any signs of attack. Lapping up water he kept his eye on her. Tye may have been part of Erenyx but he was more or less a calm wolf and did not attack if there was no reason to. They were in the neutral grounds which warranted at least some form of civility between the two opposing packs. He could attack but there would be no point but he knew how he was perceived. His appearance and wild fur at he upper half of his body, spiked like glistening lances in the sun didn't help either. As it was, he maintained his position paying close attention to the other wolf. |

| Katyusha watched him close, ears perked tentatively before twisting to listen around her, making sure they were alone before returning all attention back to him "Oh? You could have fooled me, are you one of the new litter or something?" she snapped back, only realizing that wasn't a great idea after she had said it, but it was too late now, it was already said and now she just had to keep her nerve up. With another low growl the fae would move a little further into the clearing, giving herself room to move if there was a fight, where she wouldn't be confined by the trees and brush of the forest.
With another low growl Katyusha would lift her head, eyes still narrowed as she moved as if to speak again, lips parting for just a moment before sealing again, not really sure what else to say to him, or how to deal with him, he was the enemy, but they were in neutral lands, should they just part ways here? But that would make her look like a coward, and she wasn't afraid of him. However, she couldn't just attack him, that could cause a much larger incident between the packs. With that in mind, the huntress would raise her head, lowering her guard quite a bit for him, although still keeping a close watch. |

| The fae's words rang through the air, puncturing his ears like a whip. He stopped, lifting his head upwards to face her fully again in mild curiosity. He had expected her to settle down, regain neutrality or do whatever it was she wanted to do but not to snap back at him. Not only that but she didn't carry any fear in her voice. Nervousness yes but no fear. He regarded her for another moment, raking her form to mentally outline her physique. Lean but small, not even compact. There were muscles of course. He could see them quivering beneath her fur. That didn't mean he had to under-estimate her, just keep her at his peripheral. He chuckled low in his throat making a rumbling noise come from his chest, "Don't pick fights you can't win little pup or you'll get hurt."
He returned back to the water only to hear another growl. Tye looked down at the lake. In the reflection he could see himself, looking like his usual nonchalant self with one ear pivoted towards the fae then the Helidos wolf, eyes narrowed and looking as if she wanted to say something. Or attack. One of those. He could defend himself if she did. Could she swim? He could feign drowning and lure her close to the water and pull her under if she couldn't. He was sure she could hang onto the edge for safety, maybe. He really didn't want to kill anyone today and more than that, it would incite a war that he wasn't sure they could win. Though Erenyx had many great fighter they were a small number. When she lowered her guard Tye's ear swiveled back to the forefront and he continued to drink. All his claws were out, deadly weapons of steel armed and ready to cleave into flesh and bone. |

| Katyusha would smirk a little as she saw his reaction to her words, only getting egged on a little by his taken back reaction, the fae getting another sort of devious smirk, ears perking to his words before she responded "Oh? Did your mommy tell you that before she let you go out today? Or do you just know that from experience?" she retorted, still implying he was a pup, another thought coming to her mind as she spoke again "I didn't know they let the runts run around like this? Or do you need me to escort you home?" she replied, a devious smirk spread over her muzzle as she held her ground.
As the wolf appeared to tense up the fae would broaden her stance, eyes watching his every move for any sign of an attack, the fae not fearing him, but it had been a long time since she had been in a fight, and never with a wolf of another pack, who would have no qualms about killing her, especially a brute of significantly larger stature, which meant only one thing to the huntress. If Katyusha wanted to win this fight, that may or may not be happening, she'd have to attack first, attack fast, and end it fast. |

| Lapping up water with his tongue he remained in the same position. It was refreshing, somehow purer than any other he'd drank in his life. He wasn't bothered by the fae. She was just part of the scenery but he did find her entertaining to a degree. Not quite dangerous yet. No one had ever died from words because words were just that, words. This fae wielded them like they were her own fangs and claws which he respected to a degree but with its own limits. Puppy? Was that the best she could come up with? Were all Helidos wolves this inane? Tye wondered as the insults kept on flying. All her words bounced off him like pebbles. He could snatch them up and swallow them whole, lay waste to them for they were insignificant to him. Yet there was something in the air, a grudging respect that they would both keep civil towards one another but there was also something else, an undercurrent of hostility. Tye's claws remained unsheathed, grinding the soft dirt. Maybe he could practice his surprise attack and take her down. He finally turned his head slightly to the left, looking at her directly in the eyes with his own ice light blues and asked, "Tell me little puppy, would you like to return home in pieces or drown? Perhaps your family would thank me for raising such a foolish hunter who can't tell the difference between an adult and a child. Or are you blind as well as brainless?"

| Katyusha gave a low growl and lowered her head again, watching him very close in case he decided to make things violent with her, although it didn't appear it would escalate that much that quickly, until his words hit her ears, the fae's eyes narrowing again "Please, you don't scare me, what are you? The pack den cleaner? or just spare meat incase they need a wolf for a suicide mission?" she asked before he mentioned family, the fae actually appearing to flinch a little at that comment "I don't have any family... Or really any friends, so your argument is rather invalid." she said with a little growl, although not really feeling so victorious about that statement, the rest of his insults just seeming to bounce off compared to the one fact the fae was forced to face everyday. Although quickly the huntress would bounce back "Brainless? Last I checked I'm not the one that walked right past an enemy pack member and left myself open to ambush...if you weren't so pathetic and actually threatening, I'd have killed you already...and you never would have seen it coming!" she snapped, not mentioning she had been fast asleep when he walked past. |

| Tye snorted, straightening again. He approached her quietly, his paws pressing into the earth with unfaltering purpose. His expression had smoothed back into a mask of perfect indifference. He stopped an inch shy from her, fixing his gaze on her. Tye's most distinguishing feature as his eyes. They were the lightest bluest hue possible except they didn't have the warmth of the morning skies but the intensity of the dark waves of the ocean at night. It was a strange paradox where this combination made it seem like his eyes resembled two sheets of glass, transparent and at the same time opaque. Set into a canvas of black fur, they contrasted prominently. When they locked with hers, they gave no mercy only a ruthless examination into the beating heart of the female's own soul. He could see a hole in her brave front when he'd mentioned family and he intended to exploit it. He spoke and even though it was quiet, it was deliberate and stone cold, low and dangerous, "I don't want to scare you. It'd be like scaring a pathetic, defenceless rabbit who has no hope of surviving an attack from even a mere den cleaner wolf myself as you say. That wouldn't be fair would it?" His gaze remained unwavering, eyes drilling into hers as he continued with a humourless laugh, "Oh really? I didn't know little rabbits could fight. Watch, I'm quaking in my paws." |

| Katyusha felt her claws dig into the dirt softly, as he moved towards her, stopping only an inch away, icy blue orbs gazing into her soul, her own tan orbs peering back. He had beautiful eyes, and was honestly fairly attractive, raven black fur and rippling muscles, the fae was honestly upset he was her enemy. As he spoke again the fae would turn her attention back to wanting him dead, a little laugh coming to her lips "That's good, I'd hate for you to be failing so badly at it, but I guess if you're not trying to scare me...then what are you trying to do? Give me a kiss?" she smirked, eyes narrowing as he spoke of fighting again, and now they were so close an attack would be quick and there's nothing she could do to prevent it, which meant the only way to survive such an attack, would be to attack first. And with that the fae would drop one leg, lowering her shoulder and slamming into his chest, the little fae providing a surprising amount of force with the lunge, getting under his neck to knock him off his front paws, before turning quickly, teeth flashing as she lunged for his neck, hoping to end the fight quickly and without anyone dying. |

| To her credit she stayed her ground which was impressive. She didn't even look away, keeping eye contact with him. She had even brought her claws out and was staking her place right here, right now against him, an unknown wolf who was much bigger than her. She was smaller and less assured of her abilities from that momentary flash of nervousness when she'd first approached him. Yet she still faced him head on. That deserved a certain kind of respect as it proved she possessed strength where the mind was concerned. Courage was needed after all for battle of any sort. She was still the enemy but he supposed if they were thrown together on the battle-field to fight to the death between their respective packs due to circumstances he wouldn't be bored. His eyes flickered as she responded. He would've laughed again except the idea was so ludicrous it almost insulting. His right fore-paw hovered above the ground as if to slash at her face to blind her then thought better of it. Tye wasn't evil at heart. To deprive a wolf of his or her essential survival tools was at best, an act of vengeance and he had no vendetta against this unknown fae. There was no need to make her suffer by leading a sightless life without the ability to see but he sensed she would attack if he didn't. He curled his tail around a sea-shell that had washed up ashore behind his left hind leg meaning to throw it at her face to distract her. Then she slammed into him making him stumble a little. Before he regained his balance she attacked again making him dip forwards in an awkward, somewhat unstable position. The options were to follow through with the falling, risking the female's fangs and claws, dodge completely and go with a counter-attack or to retelliate with a move of his own. First option would only get him injured because he was bigger than her and she'd injure him either way, retelliation was impossible because there was no time which left dodge and counter-attack. He twisted his upper torso, spinning to the right so that she'd miss. She flew by him, so close that he felt her fur brush against his nose. Completing the movement in a full circle he rammed into her side with his head in one ferocious, deadly strike followed by a tackle, jaws wide open to latch around the exposed area that connected her neck to her shoulder. He'd decided. He'd drown her. Hopefully she could swim. Frost flew everywhere and jagged pieces of ice breaking under his pad into even thinner splinters. |

| Katyusha felt her first lung make contact, his form shifting as she had hoped, the flash of fur and fangs slamming into him with all of her force, actually much faster than she would have appeared. As the huntress tried to follow up with her second attack, the warrior would quickly dodge, which would honestly impress the fae if she had the time to think about it. With her attack missing the wolf would quickly pivot hard on her front paws, back legs digging into the soft soil and launching her forward, the fae a flash of fur as she put her lithe form to good use, knowing she didn't have to muscle to fight him, so she had to rely on her speed, which she did very well. However, the fae had only a split second to react to his attack, turning enough that he would miss her neck, at the expense of her shoulder, his fangs not getting a firm grip on her, but they did take their toll, leaving a long gash across the fae's shoulder.
With a loud yelp, the fae would push herself away, putting some distance between them before turning quickly to face him again, left paw held off the ground just a little as blood started to stain her light fur, eyes still locked on him as she growled "Bastard..." she panted, still showing no fear, although the deep cut in her shoulder was clearly causing her a lot of pain, and by the amount of blood he had managed to get her fairly deep. |

| As she pushed him Tye backed away warily watching her warily with cold eyes. He felt no remorse or guilt at the pain he'd inflicted on her even as the blood spilled out from the wound, staining her light fur with crimson red. His tail was raised up high in the air alert, his head low to the ground as he kept his eyes on her. Never take your eyes off the enemy, was the first rule he'd been taught as a pup. The other rule was that in a fight, there was only the weak and the strong. The second was like a mantra, an anthem that'd been ingrained into his psyche since he'd been inducted into the ranks of the living in his old pack. The implication was that there was no need to feel any sorrow for those the weak. Even the neutral lands were full of bloodshed and corpses. Life just worked that way. Tye had never enjoyed it but he had accepted it nevertheless. However that was his old pack. This was a new pack with new rules and besides, this wolf had faced him on neutral lands where they weren't a battle-field. There was no reason to muddy the grounds with their blood yet. He studied her carefully, his ears perking as she spoke. He'd never been called that before.
As he took a step forwards he was slightly disappointed to see that she was staying still. It revealed that she was new to things like this otherwise she wouldn't have been stopped because of a scratch even if it was deep. Yet she was still kicking, still growling at him. In spite of himself the corners of his lips tugged upwards for just a brief moment in a slight smile. The little fae had some steel in her. He stayed close to the water's edge. She still wanted to fight. He didn't want to kill her but he could immobilize her. Submerging a wolf in water was usually a good way to do that. He did hope she knew how to swim or hold on at least. He said, "Come on little rabbit one would think you aren't even trying." |

| Katyusha held her ground, eyes no longer narrowed at him, but slowly scanning the area around, always keeping him in sight, never risking the chance for him to surprise attack her. This male was strong, Katyusha could see that, and he wasn't as dumb as he looked, having easily seen her strike coming and turning it on her, a painful lesson that would send her to the healer later, but for now she had a bigger issue. The small fae watched his figure closely, not noticing any clear weak spots, such as a limp or healing cut, which meant she simply had to make them.
The huntress wasn't a large wolf, quite the opposite actually, but she had always been smaller, and weaker than her opponents, and had long ago learned to adapt to this. While she knew she couldn't win against him head on, she had to rely on her superior speed and agility to do any damage, and this time she wouldn't just use her shoulder, she had to attack him directly and where he wasn't expecting it.
After just a few short moments, the fae had her plan, it was risky, but it's all she could do. Firmly the fae would plant her injured paw into the gravel below, twinging in pain as she shoved off, charging him head on as fast as her paws would carry her, and clearing the distance in what would seem like the blink of an eye, her cold stone eyes never leaving his until they were nearly in range, the hunters slender form suddenly shooting out of the way, cutting into the shallow edge of the water, a loud splash and cold water hitting them both as she spun herself on injured paw, planting both hind legs and lunging, fangs bared as she aimed for his front paw, just below the shoulder, both paws extended to at least catch him if she missed with fang, hoping to catch him mostly off guard with the sudden direction change, and hoping he had not expected her to cut into the lake herself, but flank from the dry edge of the beach. |

| The gap between them closed farther and farther as he approached, head low to the ground. His tail went down a little as he saw her eyes start to stop narrowing, seemingly calm again. Perhaps she'd backed down. No, her muscles were still tense primed to attack. He hovered near the edge, glancing briefly to the surface of the water beside him. The panorama of lush green leaves, sprouting from thin branches, spread out beside them in perfectly spaced rows in a picturesque paradise of vibrant, eerily flawless greenery. The only thing that broke the setting were the flock of crows he spotted that'd nestled in the branches farther down behind the female. He could see glimpses of their black feathers through the gaps in the trees. It was a pity they were so far away. They would've made a nice distraction to scare her had they'd been behind her. Then he could have attacked her from behind. A movement flickered out of the corner of his eye. She'd made her move. He moved fast, opening his jaws to clamp around her foreleg to drag her down into the lake. His fangs hit nothing but air as she veered to the left at the last minute into the lake. He turned around, almost expecting to see her half in the water. No she was still standing having found a shallow place. Tye's ear flicked, impressed. So Helidos had a secret weapon after all.
But she was still injured. Her shoulder made her movements falter noticeably. Cold water hit him, spraying him and jolting his body to life in a refreshing way. Nice bath, he thought. He moved, dodging the first attack and stationed himself closer to the deeper part of the water, so deep that he could feel the water wash over his back paw. He took another step back and braced himself as she crashed into him with the lunge, the claws of her fore-paws slashing his chest. He raised his right foreleg, absorbing the attack with a low growl and plunged his claws into her injured shoulder with the aim of getting a hold of her and applying pressure to that part of her body to distract her, then to push her down. If that worked he would twist his lower body, using his weight as leverage and using his strength, shove her into the lake. |

| Katyusha paid no mind to her surroundings, or the beauty of the lake, or the near perfect day she could be enjoying with a friend, or mate. No, all the wolf could worry about was the male across from her, one who may have been a good friend under other circumstances, but now because of pack differences, tensions had exploded over to physical violence, and the huntress didn't doubt he would kill her if given the chance, and she couldn't afford to give him such a chance.
With a loud snarl, the pair would collide, the fae's full weight slamming into him as fast as she could push herself, knocking the pair into a rolling fight for who could end up on top, scrambling several long meters across the rocky coast of the lake, before they would finally settle, the small fae pinned on her back, looking up at him with fangs bared, blood staining rock below her as she waited for him to go for the throat and try to finish her. The fae's eyes finally wondering just a little to look up at the blue sky, the picturesque tree's and lake, the fae's snarl slowly fading before the turned her attention to the male again. Katyusha knew she was in a weak spot, and there wasn't much she could do, but she had to at least try to defend her throat, and even if today was a good day to die, she wasn't quite ready yet. |

| Tye grunted as she hit him with full force and they both went down, his claws finding their mark. He crashed down onto his back hard. The momentum carried them several meters across the shoreline, almost falling into the water on the way. Somewhere along the line Tye released, his hold having loosened from the rolling but by then they had already stopped and when the dust settled she was underneath him blood seeping out from her wound and pooling the rock behind her shoulder. With most of his weight pressed against her using his upper body, preventing her from moving freely it was a bleak situation. His forelegs were on either side of her, effectively trapping her. Though it wasn’t impossible it would take some quick thinking on her part to save herself. He gazed down at her, seeing her fangs bared up at him. Defiant until the end. It was truly a pity he had to kill her. He could tell she was very young, younger than him and eager and bright. In any other circumstance she would’ve probably been his comrade in arms or akin to an annoying sister. He would’ve stopped at this point if he knew she didn’t want to kill her, having gained the upper hand and in the perfect position to deal the killing blow because this was just rough-housing. The fae’s snarls began to fade, her eyes peering a little skywards as if she’d accepted her fate. What a courageous fae, Tye thought. A shred of respect ghosted across his eyes before his blood-spattered teeth flashed in the sunlight, aiming to tear into her throat quickly and swiftly to make it as painless as possible.

| Katyusha took another deep breath as he stood over her, sort of hoping he wouldn't try to finish her, but he was from Erenyx, and the fae knew she would have to save herself, as she couldn't rely on mercy, from anyone. Carefully the fae would turn her gaze back to him, eyes locking with his as just a twinge of fear flash through them, her plan was daring, and if she screwed it up, well she wouldn't live long enough to know she messed up. Very carefully the fae would wait for him to show his fangs, waiting for exactly the right moment for him to make his strike, throwing his balance off just enough. With a loud snarl the fae would twist her whole body, pulling her head in as her fangs sank into his front paw, using enough force to knock him off balance and give her a lane of escape, and him a decent cut.
Once the brute was off of her the huntress would tumble across the stone of the beach, leaving small smears of blood until she was far enough away to jump onto her paws limping lightly as she growled "Bastard....you were going to kill me over this." she snapped harshly, having had no intention to kill him until now, which honestly only made the stakes that much higher for her "I guess Erenyx is nothing but scum." she snarled. |

| Tye stumbled a little but before he could regain his grip the fae twisted, her fangs piercing his front paw. He yelped in surprise and pain then fell off her onto his side, his position shifted by her movement. By the time he had recovered, standing up the fae was already away from him tumbling to the pebble side of the beach. Spatters of blood trailed behind her, marring the golden sands in silvers of crimson red. He watched her, leaning slightly onto his right foreleg as blood seeped from his injured paw. He’d hurt her shoulder badly. It’d take a few weeks to heal completely. And she’d scored two blows on him. One on his upper body and the other with his forepaw. Not bad for a hunter fae who was only two years old. As she sprang to her paws, her limp visible, Tye cocked his ears towards her intently. “Oh I’m so sorry for trying to defend myself,” Tye growled in sarcasm.“I think we know which one of us is scum here.” He lowered his head, ears folding backwards and fixed his eyes on her disgust and disdain in them,"Maybe next time you should bring friends since you’re too weak to fight one lone wolf.” |

| Katyusha growled softly as she kept herself on her paws, which was growingly hard with the loss of blood. With a little huff the fae would take a moment to catch her breath, having no intention to attack him again unless he moved first, honestly impressed with his skill. Katyusha knew she was a decent fighter for her size and age, and she certainly claimed to be clever, which seemed to serve her well here. As the brute spoke Katyusha would laugh softly "Defend yourself? How by killing a lone huntress? I was just trying to sleep, and you show up and get in my face. I had no choice!" She snarled, smirking again at the scum remark "Oh good, we agree you're scum." She laughed a little, getting another smirk at his next remark "Me bring friends? I'm a small huntress, and last I checked I'm still alive, So I'd say I'm doing alright, now why don't you run home before you have to explain how you got beat up by a bitch." She smirked.

| Tye started to circle around, ignoring the pain shooting through his leg to focus on immobilizing her completely. He stopped, noticing the condition she was in. He thought he hadn't cut her so deep but her shoulder was bleeding badly. Blood loss was imminent. She was having difficulty standing as well and possibly breathing. He'd wounded her far more than he'd thought. Her tongue on the other hand was working like a well-oiled machine. He straightened, ears doing the same and his expression smoothed back into its usual look of indifference. A single piercing look was all he gave, "I wasn't the one who attacked first. I'm sorry, then I guess if you prefer next time I'll go straight for your throat instead of warning you."He turned and walked to the water's edge, slipping his fore paw inside. His fur bristled slightly at her words but other than that he didn't react. The fae was like an unsheathed knife, ready to slice at a moment's notice. He plucked two twigs that were floating on the water, setting them down on the grass beside him. He swiped a bunch of grass out of the ground with a paw, ripping it free from the roots and covered them with his uninjured paw. He would use the grass to stem the wound and the twig as a splint. With cold blue eyes, set in a canvas of black, he looked directly at her and said with a completely straight face, "Sure I'll bring some friends so that we can watch you bleed to death." |

| Katyusha just watched him circle her, not moving her head since she knew he was more honorable than that. They had a good battle, and she could tell he had respect for her, so he wouldn't attack her from behind, if he intended to kill her, he would attack her head on. With a soft the fae would drop her head and pant a little, noticeably starting to wobble a little, her stance broadening slightly to keep on her paws as he continued to speak "You...were going to attack me, and you're much bigger than I...If I had waited for you to attack...I'd be dead right now." she said honestly, her voice starting to trail as the blood kept running from her shoulder.
As the male went about bandaging herself, the huntress would do all she could just to stay on her paws, the adrenalin rush now gone, and shock starting to set in, her body feeling cold as shudders rolled down her form, head turning to look at that shoulder for the first time. Where the female had first though he had just gotten a single fang in her, the young huntress could now see a large, wide cut, where it almost appeared as if he had taken a bite of her, the fang cutting deep, but other teeth cutting her wide. As he spoke again the small fae would drop her head again, panting weakly "Ha....ha." she said softly, darkness creeping into her vision as the feeling of cold crept up her. No....I can't die like this...I wouldn't bleed out this fast....then....what.
With that final thought, the shock of blood lose would take her, darkness embracing the girl as she fell to the rocks with a soft thud, sure this would be the end of her. |

| It was a delicate operation, fiddling with blades of grass to make sure it tied around his paw properly without loosening. He used minimal strength, threading the individual blades of grass into one thick layer using the side of his teeth as leverage and his paw as the holding point. Blood seeped through as expected, marring the fresh green with crimson. He plucked the two twigs carefully between his teeth and twisted, placing it at an angle halfway on top of his paw and to his side. After that he started a second layer of covering with another patch of grass. The blood came through from the first layer, blossoming into the surface but much less than the first. It would be enough for now. As he was working on it he kept his ears alert, listening to her. Hearing the sincerity in her voice he paused. She sounded breathy, her voice faltering. Tye broke the grass, knotting five blades around the first layer with a single claw to make it was tight and wouldn't break apart. Glancing to her he studied her. Her expression didn't look good. She shivered more than a few times. Her shoulder, upon closer inspection, was a bloodied mess. Chunks of flesh were missing in wide gauges. It looked like someone had taken a large scoop out of her shoulder.
He watched her head drop, then her chuckle. It brought a spark of life in his eyes. Ha ha...fighting until the last breath. He could respect that. Then she fell. He stood there, pondering what to do. Her pack members would surely come to retrieve her. They would notice one of their own missing after all. Now the question was, how fast could a Helidos wolf run? At the speed of light? Or as slow as a snail? Tye padded over to her. Her blood was pooling out of her shoulder across the rocky shore into the water in an inky spread. He put a paw on her neck. Her pulse was still quite strong. Tye gazed down at her thoughtfully. If he left her there she'd die. He didn't particularly care but his scent was all over her. Her pack-mates would find out what happened eventually and they'd seek revenge which left one option. Taking her prisoner. And perhaps, just maybe, if the Alphas permitted, making her one of their own if she could show what she showed to him today and if he lived to see the end of this. He lowered his body, taking her onto his back with a grunt and adjusted so that her body was on top of him with her legs draped over his sides so she wouldn't fall off. Her blood streamed down into his shoulder dampening the fur. Her head rested on the back of his neck, muzzle slightly hanging over the top of his head. He muttered to himself as he set off, "Bloody hero." |
