| The white she wolf made her way down the rocky slope, stepping around crevaces as she went. When she reached the bottom of the hill, she paused, and took a whiff of the cool morning air. Her breath steamed outwards with each sniff. She scented wolves, something she had not smelled for some time. This must be Erenyxthe wolf thought, She had heard of the pack from other loners she had met on her journey. Her golden orbs searched deep into the unknown territory, wondering if she should step into the space. The she wolf decided against it, knowing she would be torn to shreds if tried. But she had be contemplating whether to join a pack or not, though she was not much the pack type. But She was tired with always moving, never stopping. She was known as the wanderer to most loners around. She had moved and moved, and never stayed any where too long. She had met wolves, from many a place. guess word got around about a "rogue wanderer", and most simply called her wanderer because of it , though its not her true name. She also knew she had a mind of her own, and going into a pack, most likely as the lowest rank, may not work for her, given her dominant nature. she also hated hunting on her own, she missed the thrill of the hunt beside her pack members... but that was the past. She wanted, company. Some thing she had not had for a long time. The wolf sighed, and rubbed her paw against the ground, the leaves shifting. She then suddenly raised her head, and howled. The wolf put as much force into it as she could, hoping it to be heard. She flattened her ears, and layed down. And she waited.

| Her melody was distinctive. It was carried upon the wind with an uncanny force, his multicoloured ears shifting towards the sound, driven to investigate the borders and the song’s origin. He knew that it was a female: the tone had been undeniably feminine. He was equally certain of what it was that she wished to ask of from an Erenyx audience. It seemed that, lately, numerous wolves had found their way to the borders of Alpha Steele, seeking to align themselves with his pack of the hostile and the blood thirsty. He wondered, often, how Helidos had been fairing. It would be good news, should it be proven that most of the loners throughout their vast kingdoms had chosen Erenyx. It would be a sign that their pack was flourishing, and thus rising in such a manner that it was beginning to at least pose a threat to their enemies.
The large Delta parted through the underbrush, his momentum precise and calculated. He fixated the she-wolf with his dark gold eyes, scrutinizing her down to her bones, analyzing for the sake of enlightenment. This would be the second wolf that, as Delta, he had permitted to cross the borders of Erenyx and serve Alpha Steele. He contemplated the likelihood of how Raven was handling her new environment - had her injury healed at all since he had last seen her? - before returning his attention to the subject at hand. His expression was ominously blank. To those of his pack, it was nothing new for him. But from the perspective of outsiders, he did not doubt for a second that it was slightly eerie to witness a living, breathing creature that so closely resembled a machine. He did not smile. Rarely did he even blink. He simply stood, still as a statue, and continued to eye this newcomer with clear suspicion.
“Welcome to the borders of Erenyx, traveler.” He greeted quickly, his voice deep and thunderous, allowing his neck to disincline as a gesture of his acknowledgment. “I am Delta Irrationality, serving directly under the rule of Alpha Steele. Do speak on the behalf of your intentions.” His tail took its rightful position: possessing an upward slant, though not poised in such an aggressively dominant way as to arc completely over his spine. He was, undoubtedly, the only member of Erenyx’s hierarchy that did not immediately use tactics of violence when handling acceptances along their borders. Needless to say that he could not become aggressive when such was called for. He was a natural fighter, and he would defend his pack and his higher-ups’, blind to the hostility of his jaw’s grasp. But, as of now, she had done nothing to deserve such a reaction from him. She seemed somewhat pleasant. Who knew how far that would get her around here. |
