Ooc - hey all. So here's how I think this will go down. Cassi will ensure Magnus gets to the healers den. Once Chiara stumbles upon the scene we can decide when she will leave. And Cheshire here will be our resident healer.

The Speaking order will be:
Magnus,
Cassiopeia,
Cheshire.
Chiara will jump in after a few posts when appropriate.

The copper furred wolf left his companions in the moor and began the long trudge towards the pack clearing. He knew he was in desperate need of a healer and hoped Aziza was available. She was the only healer he knew and had done a good job caring for Chiara. He could trust her with his own recovery, he was sure. But in the previous weeks he had seen neither hide nor hair of the Lead Healer, nor of any other healers that may reside within their encampment.

Through the trees he limped, the adrenalin leaving his bloodstream and allowing pain to set in. His left foreleg caused him the most trouble. It pained him to make even the slightest movement against the limb. It became so that he had to permanently raise the paw and hobble along the uneven ground on three legs. This put further strain on his right hind leg. A far less serious injury, but in no way helped by its constant use. His back ached from where the warrior had landed a great body slam. The rest of his body was covered in a series of scrapes, bruises and contusions. Nothing he believed would scar so permanently as the mark on his muzzle, but certainly they would not last forever.

He could feel a presence following him. Silent as she was, it was impossible to entirely omit sound from movement. He lowered his head slightly and tilted it to the side as he walked. It was a typical movement of one speaking to those behind him without really looking back. "You did not need to follow me. I would have made it on my own." His deep voice growled and rumbled each word harshly. He was in no mood to entertain the notions of another. He spoke no more, however, finding movement in his jaw difficult and painful. He focused all his strength on the journey, on surviving his way to the encampment.

Her limbs were solid and sure, touching the ground in a steady pattern, each having their way with the earth as she trod on. Her mouth was closed, silver-tongue silenced in her wish to fulfill her duty as well as retain her independence against the pack. She would never be just another pack wolf, following orders without a second thought, utter trust in the way things were run. It was simply not the way of the crimson devil or his off-white goddess. They were a duo who upheld the governing order only when it pleased them, but when the path of the pack and her own ceased to intertwine, she would feel no longing for her relinquished duty. As of current though, Magnus had the attention of the chocolate eyes, as well as the willingness to help when needed. He was in such a sorry state that Cassiopeia couldn't think of abandoning him for her second errand. She kept the rhythm of her body in pace with his, their tempos in line so that she might not pass her parcel before he was in a healer's den. His words drew no sound from the near silent creamy fae, however it did elicit a cackle from a crow up above. Her eyes peered into the boughs of the trees to see if the fowl creature was following them. They did enjoy a good meal every now and again at the paw of a wolf, so it did make sense that when scent of blood and wolf entangled in the air, they came searching. Cracking her maw she let her lyrical voice soothe the tense air, humidity fading as they left the stickiness of the moor. "Make no mistake, 'cept it be for the good of the pack, you could drop off and die anywhere on this forsaken trail," She said the dark words with a musical sway, as if they were closer to a joyous tune then a threat. There was almost a hint of humor in her tone, as if there were some joke in her words. She cared not for the delight of this sorry fellow, she barely cared for him at all, as her cold dead heart commanded. But there was a duty to be done and Cassiopeia was pretty much the only one to do it.

The privacy of one’s healing quarters was of utmost bliss. He rarely had visitors, and therefore he was often left to the endless whirlpool of his own peculiar thoughts. He was the newest resident Healer that Erenyx had to offer to the weak and the sickly, but he considered himself as being no less experienced or wise in the field in comparison to his two female counterparts: Cliche and Aziza. Until it was more thoroughly known whether or not he was capable of holding another’s life in his paws, he didn’t expect that he’d be receiving a higher amount of patients than either of the two more well-known and respected Healers. But that was of no matter to him. It gave him the necessary amount of time to properly organize his chambers: he liked to have a designated spot for all of his herbs, and an overall sense of cleanliness - after all, there was no use in allowing the place to collect dust if he was to properly heal the sick and call this den his home.

The smell of blood met his nose far before two figures were registered in the distance. Out of curiousity at best, his greenish-blue eyes appeared amidst the blackness of his den, peering into the outside to see whether or not the source of such a tantalizing aroma was within sight. Eventually, he was able to decipher two wolves approaching, and if he was not mistaken (he didn’t often consider himself as being so), one of them was injured to the point that they were nearly beyond repair - nearly. Thankfully, they had decided to stumble upon the right Healer. With no particular desire to idle within his quarters until the duo arrived, he decided to meet them halfway. He emerged from his den, shadows falling off of his blue-black coat in submission to the sunlight, raising his head above his shoulders and taking the required amount of elongated strides to reach the duo. His intuition would have been to address the wounded wolf and see what information could be gathered, but due to the conditioning of his jaw, he confirmed that he’d be in no position to do any of the talking. Instead, his eyes traveled to the she-wolf that had accompanied him upon his journey. “It’d be most pleasant of you to share as to what has caused his substantial injuries upon our walk to my den.” His statement had not been phrased as a question, for he had every intention of getting the information that he sought. No, he did not have to know what happened, but it was always of good use to remain informed.

Keeping his ears strained for the she-wolf’s words, he allowed what remained of his focus to avert to the wolf in need of his attention. It seemed like a millennia had passed before they returned to the safety of his den, but upon arrival he immediately started preparing various herbs that he knew he would require: comfrey to aid in the healing process of his broken leg and soothe the fracture in his jaw, burdock for his various cuts and abrasions, ragwort mixed with juniper berries to tend to the muscle soreness of his bruises, thyme to help him achieve a state of restful sleep should his injuries prove bothersome later on, and lastly but not least, a small portion of lavender to calm his nerves throughout treatment and hopefully provide him with a means of coping with the pain - heaven forbid, things like this could actually hurt! He didn’t glance over his shoulders as he spoke, focused entirely on the preparing of his herbs. “Try not to speak anymore than necessary, Magnus. It’ll only worsen the fracture in your jaw. As for you, Cassiopeia -” A slight pause as he chewed the comfrey into a poultice. “Unless Magnus wishes for you to stay, then you are free to go. Thank you, ever so kindly, for ensuring his safe return to my care.”

Ooc - sorry it's short

Magnus limped his way into the clearing, where blue-green eyes hovered in the darkness ahead. They shifted and moved until a figure detached itself from the shadows. A dark male he hadn't met before approached. Through the sharp scent of blood, the scent of healing plants came from the male. He must be a new healer to the pack. The hunter was in no position to be choosy so he accepted, following the male to his nearby quarters.

He ignored the probing for information, for indeed his jaw was painful. But he did manage to crawl in to the den, where the scent of plants was overwhelming. His body collapse beneath him so only his eyes could follow the healers movements. He shifted his position so he wasn't laying on his broken leg. Despite his pain he held his tongue. No screams would be heard this night. Physical pain only went so far, it was his mental anguish that hurt him most.

He turned to the creamy female, giving her a cold hard stare. "I am in the paws of a healer. I have no need of you. Leave, Cassiopeia." He turned his head and began to ponder just how he would get to Chiara and tell her what she needed to know. It was of paramount importance that she be aware of her choice. He could only hope she loved him enough to leave this place forever.

The milky fae said nothing then she saw the healer up ahead. She didn't particularly know any of them, she had no purpose to, so he could have been Aziza or Cliche and she not cared. Still, she needed to make sure her escort was completely safe before she trotted off into the forest, the eerie trees making it all too obvious that she was alone with her demon once again. She watched cautiously as the two wolves did their dance, Magnus lugging his hurting body into the cavern and Cheshire darting about picking up his much needed plants. Her body was awkwardly still there, truly no use for her and Magnus's words made it even more obvious. But she couldn't help a meaningful look at Magnus's tough, icy gaze, a glance over his body with the ember of a hope that he would recover, as if she cared more than simply for the good of the pack. It was an unwelcome feeling, she was meant to be completely independent, and feelings for another entity always lead to her own downfall. Shaking her head and preparing to move off, another strange thought came to her, one which was the slightest bit too kind for her taste. But putting it into the context of making him an ally made it the slightest bit easier to bear as she swung her head over her shoulder and called out, now a bit far from the den. "Do you want Chiara?" She tried not to offer her services too much, she was a warrior not a mailman. But if she did just so happen upon Chiara on her roundabout way back to the deer carcass, she needed to know if she should send her this way. Waiting only a half step, with her head over her shoulder, she made it all too clear that this was taking up precious time and he better hurry up if he wished for her help.

It didn’t go unnoticed to the Healer that Cassiopeia had ignored his inquiry. He had wished for nothing more than a summary of the events that had led to Magnus’s level of injury - considering the severity of his wounds, he assumed it would make for quite the tale. However, an overall sense of pride stopped him from turning towards the creamy she-wolf and asking once again in the midst of her retreat. If she would not enlighten him, as was politely asked, then he would do nothing more than nod affirmatively in regards to Magnus’s wishes for her to retreat, a cold and empty stare following her movements as she departed before losing interest and returning to his preparing of the various remedies.

Chiara? He knew of Erenyx’s Lead Warrior from rumours and small conversations at best. Considering he was still generally new to the ranks, he had yet to be fully caught up in the pack-wide relationships. Needless to say that it was a type of information that he held in high regard. He cared not for the pleasantries and the love that those of his pack would commit themselves too, but a part of him still desired to be aware of all pack matters. It seemed as though Cassiopeia believed that Magnus would want Chiara at his side while he healed from his injuries, and that was all he needed to hear to come to the conclusion that the two were bonded in a way he cared not to shed light upon. He wasn’t entirely fond of the idea that another wolf would be taking up space in his den while he worked on Magnus’s wounds. It’d be easier if nobody was distracting him or his patient - it wasn’t like he’d be much of a conversationalist either, what with the fracture in his jaw and Cheshire’s assurance that he refrain from speaking more than was required of him. But, in complete honesty, he didn’t care whether or not Magnus continued to speak. It was his jaw at stake, not Cheshire’s, and at the end of the day it’d be his pain, too.

Finished with the first mixture he intended to use, ragwort mixed with juniper berries, the blue-black Healer carried the crushed remedy towards the injured Hunter and set it down in front of him. “Eat this.” He commanded, turning his back to to him to prepare the next remedy: comfrey. It’d be the most painful for Magnus to endure, so he planned to complete the worst of it while Cassiopeia - and Chiara - weren’t around. “It’s ragwort and juniper berries crushed together. It’ll tend to your various bruises and reduce muscle soreness.” Assuming Magnus would want to know what was being put into his body, he offered a brief explanation about the remedy over his shoulders.

The Hunter squirmed under the Healers intense gaze. Cassiopeia had not ousted him, for which he was entirely grateful. He saw her retreating form pause for a heartbeat and look back. Did he want to see his beloved Chiara? Yes, yes he did. There were things they needed to discuss together. His head gave a slight nod, but no speech was heard. He could not risk more injury. He had to save his ability to speak for when it was needed. He hoped Chiara would come, that Cassiopeia would explain for him how he had ended up the way he was, at least to a briefly summarised extent of what she knew.

His mind never once spared a thought for his opponent, whose injuries were certainly extensive. Instead he watched the Healer work, nodding thanks for the explanation of the herbs. He would prefer to know that he wasn't being poisoned rather than helped. Although he had almost no knowledge of plants and could easily be lied to. It was only his faith in this one called Cheshire that he was telling the truth that allowed him to eat the concoction. As his pained jaw chewed on the slurry his mind considered how he might begin to explain to Chiara what was asked of her. He wanted to beg her to refuse, to leave the pack and save herself this fate. He refused to tell her of the threat on his life. But he knew all the planning in the world would be thrown away the moment he began to speak.

She had barely noticed her silent mouth, she didn't particularly take to this healer and completely ignored him, focusing more on her thoughts and the sight of Magnus. At the injured wolf's silent reply, she swept her jaw outwards and took off, a swift trot instead of a run, it would last her longer. Twigs snapped and branches brushed against the slick fae, her dark brown eyes completely blank, not a single sign of the conflict within. Her maw stayed silent, yelling out for the fae, would draw far too much attention. She didn't particularly want this affair spreading, for some reason it weighed heavy on her mind and she didn't feel quite right letting it spread like wildfire in the pack at her doing. Whether or not she was the one to let the cat out of the bag, it would burn wide and far, rumors and myths sparking at the extreme nature of the males' injuries. She navigated through the rough terrain, searching the important areas of the pack camp, finding plenty of members other then Chiara. She dipped her head at a few, a noiseless greeting which allowed her to be on her way without actual words.

Finally, after a little effort on her part, something she wasn't use to giving to others. She found the scent of the Lead Warrior Chiara, someone who she had only seen, not truly met. But she did recognize the inconspicuous figure when she did finally come upon her. Black, grey and brown fur mixed to form a very wolf-like coat, accompanied by amber eyes, she was certainly a predator. Approaching quickly through the pack clearing, she gave a slight bow before uttering her words, quick and polite so she could be on her way. She had a certain respect for this wolf she had never met, she was a female warrior who had fought the odds and, though small, was a Lead Warrior for the pack. "Lead Warrior Chiara? I am Cassiopeia and have just come from the Healer's Den of Cheshire where Magnus currently resides. He has been in a bad fight with a lot of injuries, I suggest you go to him for the full story," She pointedly looked in the direction of the Healer's Den as she mentioned the name of the one caring for the hunter. She paused a bare moment for an answer before continuing on her way, she didn't have time to waste, there was a deer to bring into camp. Trotting off she didn't spare a backwards glance at the female, she could be fighting off other predators in a few moments, the smell of blood was surely in the air.

ooc-I'm skipping Cheshire to move the thread along

bic-Chiara nodded to Cassiopeia and made her way to the healing den. Inside she could smell a few new scents mixed with the scent of the male who stole her heart. Failing at keeping her jaw shut her mouth gaped open as she saw his condition. Jumping over to him she held back the urge to embrace him as to not harm him. "Magnus! Oh my god what the hell happened to you?" She barked at him, ignoring the male healer in the cave for moment. He was severely injured and her blood boiled at the thought of anyone harming him. "Who did this to you? Just tell me who and I'll skin them alive." She growled, her tail thrashing like a mad cat behind her. Beyond mad for she knew another wolf had inflicted these injuries she turned to the male healer. "You! What is wrong with him? Who did this to him? He better live through this or I'll have you to blame." SHe growled, not thinking clearly as where the blame laid.

The Hunter tried not to squirm as the Healer pottered about his business of caring for the injured soul. But in burst a dark figure so sweet and haunting he could not bear to look in her eyes. And yet when harshened sweet tones left her maw, he must open his eyes to ensure she was not only tricks of the mind. Indeed his beloved Chiara had found him here, something he both wished for and dreaded. But a necessity all the same. In only his mind could he now thank the Warrior Cassiopeia for seeking her out. His already wounded pride would allow no expression of gratitude on his part to be displayed upon his wolfish face. Instead only hardened orange eyes could collide with sweet honeyed orbs to share in a silent greeting. Her questions still hung in the air to both he and the other. But if Magnus were to ever show regret for his actions this day, if only once, it would be here and now.

The copper male shifted his positioning slightly, that he might raise his head some and meet her on a somewhat level field. The concoction he had been chewing at he finally spit with some difficulty, leaving an ugly clump upon the den floor. To open his maw was significant difficulty, but less so than the act of speaking. "Chiara, I was an idiot. I acted without thinking in a fit of rage and it cost me these injuries. But there is something I must discuss with you. Something that only you can decide. It will not make you happy, but your response will dictate the remainder of my life." Though his face was stern and his maw pained physically, his eyes betrayed him - as they always would with her. He knew in them she would see the seriousness of their situation and how much it angered him to have to ask this of her. But his need to protect her allowed him some small comfort. She would not know of the threat on his life. He would lie and deceive. He would make her believe that he truly loved the abominable brood belonging to the Alpha.

The Healer had been busied with the chewing of burdock leaves, preparing the fine poultice so that he may brush it along the various cuts and abrasions littering the Hunter’s body. Despite his immense focus, he wasn’t so unaware of the happenings within his den as to miss the rash entering of an unfamiliar female. Upon hearing her speech, he was able to put two-and-two together and assume that she went by the name Chiara - Magnus’s beloved, of course. He listened to her address the wounded male with minimal interest, slowly arching his head over his muscular shoulders and offering to her a blank, unamused stare when she called for his attention. It was one thing to enter his den in such haste, disrupting his efforts to heal the male by drowning him in her worrisome words. It was an entirely different thing to disrespect his work and the space under his roof by threatening to place the blame upon him, should his remedies fail to save Magnus’s life. Blaming him, as Chiara said she would, was childish and did absolutely nothing to earn his respect. She was a Lead in her ranking, yes, but a Healer at work was not someone to speak to so lowly. If she did not mind her tongue while he was doing everything in his power to save Magnus’s life, than it’d be most unpleasant should he accidentally slip a poisonous substance into his remedy.

Then she’d truly have somewhere to place her petty blame.

The Healer’s dangerous thoughts were confined to his mentality alone, offering no acknowledgement to the dark she-wolf - he didn’t even bother to meet her eyes as he approached Magnus’s shrunken form and applied the burdock leaf poultice to various wounds along his back. If he was alone with the she-wolf, than he very well would have had a variety of insults to throw back to her in response for her rudeness. But he was too busy to waste his time. It was nothing but a mere thought in the back of his head, reminding him that she was undeserving of his precious minutes for future reference. It would be useless to speak his mind so openly, as he often preferred to do, knowing that it would do nothing but cause outrage in the two wolves accommodating his den. They were in love - she was allowed to worry, and to fret. She would simply need to learn to keep Cheshire out of it; making an enemy out of a Healer was not wise, or rather, an enemy out of him.

It was too easy to accidentally screw up and destroy lives. A shame if she said too many wrong things and made Magnus have to pay for it.

[A lovely glimpse at Cheshire’s darker side. xDDD]

Chiara continued to ignore what the healer was dong. Normally she would hold their rank in higher respect for Creek from Helidos was a friend of hers. Now, however, her stress caused her to slide to the floor by Magnus and nuzzle his shoulder softly. He spoke, his voice faint and quiet as he strained to talk. "Whats wrong?" She asked, holding back her choking voice as her eyes drifted over his broken body. "Do I need to do something for you? If so I'll do anything, anything you ask." She said, nuzzling him further. Her patience was short as her eyes pleaded for him to end her suffering. What was needed of her? What drove him to get these injuries? Moving closer to him she could smell Tye on his fur. That brute would pay for what he did here and now. Her mind grew dark at the thought of the black male falling beneath her jaws. Salivating at her thoughts she continued to wait for his answer.

ooc - no worries. Didn't want this thread to die.

Magnus winced as his dear one nuzzled his shoulder. He knew the action was meant only with affection, no malice or torture intended. It was why he allowed it. He did not see her sniff his fur nor notice the look of dark understanding cross her face. He could only explain their predicament. It was all that was left. He squeezed his eyes shut and ground his teeth. "Chiara, I have spoken to Steele and asked his permission that we be mated. His reply... was not agreeable." He hurriedly continued, drowning out any questions she might have and so finish what he needed to say. "Don't fret! Don't fret. He didn't say no... exactly. But it was not my place to answer in your stead. He will allow us to be mated next year. And only after you have first given given him a litter in the coming spring. The Alpha," He growled out the word angrily, "has requested you attend him in his den on the first night of Winter and allow him to plant his seed in you. When Spring comes and they are born, we are to raise the pups as our own," or my life is forfeit. He left out that last part. He needed her to make the decision on her own. But only one would allow him to keep his life. If she refused, he died. If she accepted but even one pup died, he died. But If she accepted and they managed to successfully raise the pups... he would live.

He listened blindly to their helpless words. How pitiful it was to fall in love when Erenyx had been chosen as your ultimate allegiance. Alpha Steele had a side to him far . . . darker than was originally anticipated. There was a blossoming glisten buried deep within the handsome greenish-blue of the Healer’s conniving eyes, fixed downward upon the injured body of his current subject as to go completely unnoticed. He would have shivered out of pure admiration for the choices his Alpha made when it came to love, had it not been required of him to be still and focused as he worked on Magnus’s wounds. Never before had he served a pack that functioned with such awful methods as those imposed by their monarchy. It was beautiful! It was absolutely wonderful! He couldn’t help but derive an immense joy from the pair’s suffering.

He had just finished applying the burdock poultice to the most obnoxious injuries throughout the Hunter’s body, and now he sat back in one of the darkest corners of his den as he organized the remaining comfrey for his broken leg, alongside portions of lavender and thyme. He was finished with the next remedy, but he remained in his place and attempted to busy himself, caring not to disturb their lovely moment and dismiss Chiara in the midst of such heart-breaking news being shared between one another. He would wait for however long it required the two of them to finish their conversation - his ears very well could have bled at having to sit through such an affectionate exchange. He preferred that such not take place underneath his roof, but he wouldn’t deny his patient the comfort of his mate’s company just yet.

No. No it couldn't be true. Chiara's mind swam with disbelief at the thought that her alpha would ask that of her before he gave her happiness. Hadn't she served him well in the last year? Perhaps she had done something wrong or this was a test of her loyalty to him. Still the dark thought arose that even if she went through with this that her mate's future would end badly, or they would still not be allowed to become mates. Steele frightened her with his ferociousness in this matter, would she even be able to carry his litter? Something in the way Magnus looked at her puzzled her as well. Not once had the male asked her not to do this act. He sounded almost accepting of her fate and didn't object, at least not on the outside. Perhaps he had already accepted the fact that they would be denied each other until the coming year, or was something else a foot? Chiara knew that Magnus was new to the pack, compared to herself at least, maybe this was his own test? Esmerelda's leaving the pack had upset the alpha greatly. It probably skewed his concept of love, something he would stall for the pair until her deed was done.

Chiara needed to think, but she didn't have time. Winter was soon approaching, and with it her heat cycle. Maybe two weeks away and the first frosts would hit the land before covering them in an white cloak until spring. Her mind swam, but came back the hunch that negative would fall upon Magnus in the event that she would refuse. Without confirming this her eyes grew soft and a sigh escaped her maw. "Magnus.I want nothing more than to become mates with you. I will do what ever it takes to make that happen, even if it means standing by our alpha instead of you this season. I will accept his demands, but I do ask you, will you? Will you stand by me to raise his litter and not look down upon me?" She asked. He had no way of knowing that she wasn't a maiden wolf, her father had taken care of that. If he was old fashion in that sense that notion should leave his mind here and now. He was the only wolf for her, and no amount of mating with her alpha would change those feeling for him.

Magus closed his eyes hearing her voice finally breach the air. Almost as if he was ejecting every word she said. He didn't want this. Of course not. But he didn't want to die either. He had come so close this morning. He cared little enough for his own life but the agonising walk she shared with Cassiopeia on his return had allowed his mind to clear and thoughts to process. And he had realised something. No matter what, this was going to happen. If either he or Chiara refused, he would die and Steele would probably take Chiara as his own anyway. If she were any other, he would do the same as he had done before. He would have run before things became too serious, set out on his own and began a new life somewhere else. But in that case, Steele would have also taken Chiara. He just knew. He could see it in the dead grey eyes of his Alpha. In any event, he would get what he wanted. And Magnus cared too much for his beloved to leave her here. He wouldn't run, for she would not follow - she was too loyal for that. He would not refuse for two reasons. One, it was Chiaras body and therefore her choice, not his. Two, if he did and Steele killed him, he didn't believe that she would survive the winter to give birth to the pups. And no matter what, he refused to let her die.

Still his eyes held shut in the here and now, rapping back any emotion. He was usually so practiced at appearing emotionless. It was only when it came to this she-wolf, this devilish little vixen, that everything broke down and he stood naked before her. She knew everything he had to offer, everything he could ever think. But the next time he opened those eyes of fire, he needed to have his emotions in check. He needed to lie better than he ever had. He needed to protect her, even if that meant protecting the bastard brood that would soon be growing in her womb. Lids flew open as fiery orbs blazed. "If that is your wish, then I will stand by you and help you raise your pups. I will only look upon you with admiration for the courageous decision you have made in order to be with me." He lay his head against the hard ground of the den, awaiting further treatment of the Healer as he required it. Malicious thoughts of murder and torture danced about his mind in a colourful spectrum, allowing the Hunter to forget the pain of his wounds.

[Is it possible that I be skipped this round? There isn't much for Cheshire to do, save for put his broken limb back into place, and he isn't going to do that while Chiara is present. If you'd prefer I take my turn though I can whip together something short.]

Chiara let out a sigh then drew her maw into a slightly forced smile. Her life now would be played out before her, with little input from her wishes. Magnus's life meant more to her than she realized, and she would do even the unthinkable to protect him. Having a litter by Steele would be bad, but things could always e worse. Reaching out and licking her male's nose she then pulled back and stood. "I shall leave you in the healer's paws. I must find Steele and tell him of my decision. I shall be back later to see how you are fairing. Sleep well." She said, her voice soft.

Turning to the healer in the background her voice turned more stern, but not order filled as it had been before. "Please heal him. My anger may have made me rash, but I still value your abilities. Don't harm him on my account." She said simply before making her exit. A long walk was in order before finding her Alpha. Much thought needed to happen.

He lay in wait for the Healer to continue his work. I wish this damned fool would hurry up and get to my leg! It bloody well hurts! He thought, with numerous curses strung onto the end. Dear Chiara stood and moved away, allowing the cold to breach his previously warm side. He tried desperately to reach his head up. Nuzzle her one last time. Lick her cheek just in case he didn't survive the night. He heard soft mutterings between Chiara and Cheshire, but he couldn't quite make much out of it. He was so tired. So utterly exhausted that he couldn't hold onto consciousness any longer. As he heard the Healer return to his work and he succumbed to sleep. Drifting easily into the land of the subconscious. His dreams were ravished with violence and blood. Little bodies covered in blood and grime lay dead at his paws. The sky overhead was painted in blood and lightning tore the sky in two. It was a grisly scene of death in which Magnus revelled.
