| Magnus ignored the faes threats, huffing to himself. Why can't she just accept help when it's offered? He shook his head angrily, and when that wasn't enough, he shook out his entire body, making his fur stick out momentarily. Not wanting to waste any more time, he checked to see that Chiara had once more grabbed a hold of the stags leg. Without any instruction necessary, he picked up the limp body in his jaws, repositioned his legs more comfortably, and forged through the trees. He broke into a run, making great leaps forwards as he tried desperately to get his friend to a healer quickly. For he did consider her a friend.
They burst into the pack clearing and he went straight for the kill pile. It seemed silly that that was his first destination, but he didn't know how much further he could pull them both. When he reached the pile he released the deer from his jaws and allowed it to drop to the ground. Taking no moment to rest he darted around to the Lead Warrior, standing on the side of her injured shoulder to offer support. We're back at the pack clearing, Chia. Now, we're going to get you to the healers den and get you fixed up. It's not too far and you should be able to make it. I'm not going rob other trying to carry you, but I'm here for support if you need it. He nudged her forward and began the slow trek to the healers den. He didn't know if there was anyone inside, but out of respect he wouldn't dare enter without permission. When they reached the entrance, the Hunter stopped and turned his head to inspect the faes shoulder. Blood was beginning to seep through the moss padding. His amber eyes met her fiery pools and he could see the struggle waging inwardly. She was tired and sickly. If only he knew what plants might help her he could have done a better job. He immediately dropped to his haunches and turned his gaze skyward. Closing his eyes he released a loud, somber howl. A call for help.

| Chiara was practically dragged into the main clearing and over to the kill pile. Relief flooded over her as the small pile of carcasses became visible and at last the weight of the buck was dropped at her feet. Shaking slightly at the cessation of the weight she wearily watched Magnus approach her, urge her and finally herd her towards the healers den. Her vision was becoming shaky and his words sounded like they were under water instead of on dry land. Her shoulder ached more, but the pain was familiar and came as no surprise. To stop the pain would have come at more of a shock she supposed as she glanced at her shoulder. Two thick welts now swollen and angry lay moist with blood, mud and bits of moss. They almost seemed to snarl at her as a few drops of crimson fell while she walked. With each drop she felt one step closer to a dark, peaceful place. It had already started to beckon her, to lie down and sleep. The warrior knew it wasn't death that sought her out, but instead a gentle rest in a warm and dark place, void of pain and thoughts. She relished going to that place, but something inside made her push through it, willing her to keep walking, even just a step further.
Soon her head hung low, her pale gums were visible as her mouth hung half open, as if she lost the will to close it. Inside her mouth her tongue and gums were dry and whitish, as a good amount of her blood now lay from here to the hunting area. Her eyes still shone, but not as bright as before, like she didn't care anymore, or couldn't care. Beside her she felt Magnus's presence urging her on then his muffled voice calling into the den. confused to what he was doing she lifted her head up slightly to see she was at the entrance of the healers den. Not having remembered the walk here frightened her slightly, but soon the calmness overtook her. Dropping her head again her hind fell to the ground in a thud that held to grace. Sitting hunched over she shifted on to her good leg, for her injured now couldn't hold her weight anymore. She felt pulsating pain rip through her shoulder as bits of moss fell, exposing raw skin that was shredded deep into her flesh. unfazed by the sight, as if it wasn't her own body her yellow eyes went back to the entrance and squinted for signs of life. Soft smells of herbs overtook her, as dd the scents of the healers. Unaware if any were in she didn't have the energy to call them out. Try as she might her maw wouldn't form words more than a gasp or two. Muted by blood loss, shock and exhaustion she simply sat, her tail limply around her feet and waited. |

| Looking up from her work of sorting she let out a grumble as she was disturbed. "What?!" Her voice gruff as she stalked to the entrance of the den and poked her head out, the light flitting across her eyes momentarily blinding her before she blinked it away. Blue eyes narrowing as they focused on the first wolf who had called so loudly at the den. He was unfamiliar and at the moment she couldn't even get his scent. 'Oh please not another....' Her attention though was quickly nabbed as blood filled the air with a dreadful but delicious scent. Turning to chiara she fought the smile that almost curled but managed to force her maw to gape and her eyes to widen. "May i ask what happened?" Her tone not exactly traceable as she moved forward giving her shoulder to the lead warrior, she sent a glance towards the other wolf with a snarl. "Get your tail over here." She may of been harsh but eh what could you do? Leading chiara into the den she had her lay on a soft bed of moss and feathers. Her eyes traveled over the wolfs pelt to where her attention seemed to be concentrated. A shoulder wound, she took a small breath before fetching some cobwebs, she pressed the cotton like thing to the wound to wipe away what blocked her view from what the damage was as well as to stop the bleeding. Pressing a paw to the cobweb she lured the male to her side with a flick of the ears. "Here, put yourself to use and keep this in place. Once you see it soak in blood get some fresh cobwebs from the pile by her paws." She waited to see if he would leave or assist before glancing towards her herbs. 'Comfrey and Goldenrod. That should sooth the pain and not only prevent infection but speed up the healing...wonder how deep her wound is.' |

| Magnus was soon greeted by a rather unfriendly Healer whose name he did not know. He mentally berated himself for not getting Chiara to the clearing sooner. But the healers scent wafted to him and he got a good look at her. She was quite lovely, her auburn coat and blue eyes went well together. He instantly pulled on the charm and gave her a reply. There was an accident during the hunt. He followed the two faes into the den, Chiara appearing incapacitated by blood loss. She was laid upon a bed of moss and feathers.
The healer went to work instantly, removing the remnants of his failed attempt at stemming the blood flow and working with the arsenal of herbs at her disposal. One trick he noticed was how she placed wadded up cobwebs onto the affected area and held her paw there. It began to soap up the blood and fluid. She flicked her ears, calling him to her side and he acquiesced, giving her an alluring grin. But she was all business. She tasked him to hold the cobwebs in place until they were filled with blood and to then replace them. His paw replaced hers and she moved away to study what remedies were available to her. The cobweb became quickly impregnated with the Lead Warriors blood and he moved to change it out. Selecting more cobwebs from the stack by her paws and wadding them up on her shoulder. His paw returned to its position and he took a moment to study the healer. She fussed over the different roots, leaves and flowers, her tail swaying ever so softly in the breeze and it entranced him. He wondered absently whether she had a mate. |

| Chiara didn't remember most of what she was doing. She remembered being ushered into the den and onto a soft mossy bed. In a heap she fell to the ground, fresh blood soaking the dry moss. The healer in the den had been Aziza, a fae she had accepted in not too long ago. Their first meeting hadn't gone the best and now it was up to her to help her, how ironic. Feeling pressure now on her neck as Magnus placed sticky cobwebs on her wound Chiara groaned. Soon the conversation of the pair faded away and Chiara gave in to sleep. Feeling at ease now she let her body relax and her eyes close. Not speaking she could smell herbs drawn up, much like the scent in Creek's den. Not too concerned for her life in the healers' hands Chiara slowly drifted off to sleep.

| Sorting through the herbs she pulled out Comfrey and Goldenrod, she paused to look at a bundle of Alder leafs she smirked as she pried some leafs loose and piled them with the other herbs and some moss that she planned to bring along. She may not of left the best impressions on the lead warrior when they first met but now she would just have to suck it up to the fae and show her just why she was meant to be in this pack. Making the short journey back to chiara with the bundles clamped securely in her maw, she glanced at mag until she turned her attention to the cobwebs against her wound. As she expected, the blood flow didn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Setting down her herb she took a small breath before addressing mag. "I'm getting this moss here wet, when i return to your side i need you to move. Her blood needs to stop coming out rapidly." With a flick of her tongue she retrieved the moss and dipped it into a puddle. The cold droplets scattered about her paws and along her chest fur as she pulled back up. She moved back and gently prodding him aside before placing the drenched moss to her wound. Not only would the water hopefully slow down the blood flow but possibly the cool waters would help numb the area making it easier to tend to. Letting her blue gaze disappear beneath her eye lids she thought back to her training and the wounds circling her mind. It was some time before she flitted her gaze back open and got to work. Letting the moss drop to the floor, she leaned in with narrowed eyes to observe the wounds. "Hooves i'm guessing? Hm...There are a few deep but the other two should heal up with no problem." Her words were brisk and more so for herself. She began with the goldenrod, with quick motions she formed the herb into a poultice. Nodding to herself she began placing the smooth substance over her wound, careful not to bother the aching wound. Next she began chewing the roots of the comfrey, soothing the wounds after the goldenrod had absorbed would hopefully put chiara at ease. After finishing with chewing the roots she went about to running her nose over the wolfs shoulder and side having known many wolves before returning with broken bones after a hunt but right now chiara seemed to of gotten lucky. She tipped her head thoughtfully watching the soft rise and fall of the fae's side before glancing to the male in the den. He seemed to be worried but the way he held himself still showed...manliness? She didn't even know why he stuck around, maybe he felt at fault or he had nothing better to do. Possibly even the mate to chiara...well aziza couldn't see that at the moment, but even possibly a love sick pup for the lead warrior? Who know's as long as he didn't cause any problems his presence wasn't really minded. Flicking her eyes back to the alder leafs she would wait for now to add them. They would help the swelling go down as well as prevent infection but right now chiara seemed to be in the clear. Thinking back to her herbs she thought about the amount she owned at the moment, it would be a good pile to tend to four or more wolves. For a wolf who hadn't been here long it was a good stock but she planned on going out soon and collecting more. She clicked her teeth as she awaited the herbs to work their magic before she added the comfrey and went about to chewing the alder leaves and storing it into a roll of leaves so that she could apply it to chiara immediately when the time came. "She'll be fine, just need some rest and to stay down. She will be staying with me for a few days so that i can check on her state and to add more of my herbs before i give her the okay to go back to sleeping in her den." She stated smoothly to the male as she looked in his direction. |
