| Is this a pack? A faint scent lingered on the land before him. It was fresh, yet minimal. And the brute couldn't tell if it were new and starting to bloom, or old and abandoned. The trees, to say the least, disgusted him. Their winding and twirling trunks creating a scene before him that he couldn't fathom to find beauty in. But that was the world, and it was hard to find balanced easily spotted to the eyes. However, there were some things that were appealing. Things that did not need symmetry to make them whole and complete. But this did not include him, no those things were things that could not ever be symmetrical. For example, a river. It winds and curves with the land, and is very beautiful. No same curve is the same amount of a degree in that river, maligning it thoroughly unbalanced. Yet there was still a certain attraction towards it, something that none could completely describe. Water was a mysterious thing, looking so murky and disgusting somewhere but crystal clear in another. Not that he had an obsession with water though... That'd be weird..
The lush greens before him hid something behind it. Some sort of secret that seemed to want to be discovered by the brown brute. His eyes narrowed as he gazed suspiciously at it. His paw raising up as in a step but was stopped by some force. No one was here with him, yet he felt like if she were to step over that invisible line, then he would be trespassing. Ears flicking about to catch any noise, the brute hesitantly called out, "Hello?" If this was a back border he would have no idea how to react. He was treated with respect, or with Chester he was at least, and taken into the borders to heal the wounded. The old brute had howled, but never explained why. Thus Recluse did not do it now. What if they are waiting for him to come here, only to be disappointed when it is me?He waited there for a few more minutes, calling out things into the forest that seemed not to hear him. Sighing he took a step back, lowering his head as he stared at the border. The healer knew he wanted a home, but the matter was where would it be, and what kind of back would he promise himself to? Choices were rough and hard, and he was still thinking about standing here at the borders of a possible pack waiting for some sign of life. |

| Her morning patrol left the fae with a stomach full of rabbit. Lucky for her the prey here weren't used to many wolves hunting them down so they were stupid and slow when chased. Dangling from her jaws were two more rabbits for Magnus and Malachai back home. Unsure of their whereabouts she walked along the south border, taking in the scenery as well as the landmarks. This area she was least familiar with and she would hate to get losts in the tangle of crooked trees. Smiling at the thought of becoming lost in her own lands she tried to permanent remember every tree, rock and blade of grass, for this was her home now. Continuing on she walked further by the border when the wind hit her with a rogue male's scent. Perking her ears she walked forward, hearing the soft greeting of a hesitant wolf calling inward.
Curious as to why he wasn't howling she walked on, soon rounding a tree to be right in front of the male. A moment of awkward silence hit them before Chiara dropped her prey and stood tall before him. "I am Chiara, Alphess of these lands called Pyrvanthros. Who are you and why are you so near my border without calling out a howl to alert me?" She questioned. Her voice was stern and authoritative, but yet controlled and smooth. He seemed tense, so she didn't want to frighten him, just yet. |

| Not soon after his call into the territory did a small she-wolf appear. Standing right before him they stared at each other in silence for a few moments. Taking in each others stance and appearances. She held a hare in her jaws, and he couldn't help but be a bit amused that it lay limply between her teeth ass she looked at him. Bending her head she dropped the prey, then continuing to speak to him. She stood tall and proud now, tall figuratively seeing as her height wasn't exactly... well.. tall. Her voice firm, smooth, and controlling she asked of him why he was here and introduced herself. So I was supposed to howl.... crap.. He smiled sheepishly, his ear pinning slightly back against his head. Shifting uncomfortably he looked away from her before back up, opening his jaws to say something before closing them again. No I can't say that! It will make me look weird..... How about...? No, that's bad too. What do I say, what do I say... Laughing awkwardly he supposed he'd just have ti start talking. Which he did, and wether or not that was stupid or not of him he wouldn't know until the she-wolf expressed her opinions. "Uh, well, I, uh.... You know what? Just forget it. Just, uh, forget why I am here! I'm Recluse, a lone healer. But, uhm... Gods I really suck with people don't I?" The last part was murmured as he hung his head. He knew what he wanted, but had no idea how to express it aloud. He knew he was socially awkward and a bit strange, but he really did not mean any harm. All he wished for was acceptance, but he had never before found it. And that would always have an effect on him, but instead of moving away like normal he sat there with his head low, not looking at the Alphess in the eye or at all. But then he softly said, just loud enough to hear, "I want a home, but I have no idea how to find or ask for one." |

| Chiara couldn't help but chuckle softly at the situation. She wasn't laughing at the shy brute before her, but more the tension and awkwardness that hung it the air. He seemed like a strong and capable male, but as he spoke or rather rambled he reminded her more like a young apprentice being scolded. "Be at ease Recluse for you have shown me respect and have indeed asked for acceptance aside from the rambling." She said, her voice kind and soft. "A healer you say? How were you trained or rather who trained you? My pack is new and could certainly use a healer if they are educated." Her hind dropped into a sit and her looked at him more, taking in his disheveled appearance. My what would have happened if he had stumbled over to Erenyx like this? "If you want a home I can certainly offer you one. Only on the condition that you serve the pack and pledge your life to it and your Alpha's, of course." She asked. |

| She had chuckled softly at his rambling. If that was a good or bad thing he didn't know and quite frankly did not want to find out. But her words set him at ease, and she seemed to have gotten his point through his rambling. He smiled a bit, his eyes brightening as she visibly relaxed before him, plus he was excited that someone took interest about his knowledge. "Well, I was abandoned by my mother at a young age, she left and never came back, but was found by an older brute who took me in as his own son. He was a healer, a famous one where I come from, but he was a loner and travelled from pack to pack to heal wolves in the worst states. When I went along with him, he taught me everything I now know. I've treated all sorts of injuries and illnesses for my rather young age of two. But wolves never thanked me, only him. I kind of, scared them I guess. Chester, the brute who took me in, died a few months ago. I was shunned from everyone, never thanked when I healed someone desperately in need, and turned away at the borders during storms. So I left, in sear of a place where I would actually be accepted." He became silent, going over what he had just said. To hear it put into words made it seem so much more real than it had before. But it was in the past and he would need to get over it. When she spoke next he literally jumped in excitement. A grin taking over his face and his eyes seemed to sparkle with happiness. "You mean it!?" He waiting for a nod or a word to confirm the words she had said before continuing. "Then I will pledge my life to your pack her, and you and your mate. That is I am guessing you have one?" His tail wagged behind him, not at all hiding his happiness. |

| Sitting before him she listened to his story and her mind envisioned his life as he told it. How horrible it must have been to be abandoned by your own mother. Chiara wondered if she had died or simply walked away from her young, how horrible. He continued to speak and it seemed more loss was in his past than gain. Having both his parents and mentor ripped from him he seemed in need of a family. His age too worried her, for he was hardly older than her own daughter, and just as endearing. "I am truly sorry for your past Recluse. Hardships make us strong as we learn from them. I hope you can further your training and grow into a fine healer." She said, still smiling now at his enthusiasm.
Almost seeming to explode with excitement Chiara's smile grew and his tail wagged with increased speed. He vowed to serve her and Magnus that was all she could ask for. "I mean it yes, you may enter my pack as a healer. From now on you shall be called Healer Recluse. Soon I will pair you with a warrior to further your training in hunting and combat, for now focus on getting acquainted with the lands and its plants for winter will be here soon and they shall perish. I'm heading back to camp now if you care to follow me." She said, rising and turning towards camp. Turning her head over her shoulder she gaze at the excited new male healer, "welcome home Healer Recluse."
