The pupils of her eyes grew larger, almost devouring her emerald irises that were trained onto the scent of a pack's border. Underneath her thick black coat her muscles twitched with readiness. Juno's hind legs kicked into the ground and she sprinted in the direction of the border. The fae kept her eyes pealed for logs and boulders, dodging everyone of them that came her way with a breeze. The wind had picked up and it felt as almost it was making her fly towards her destination that was slowly coming into few. Her front paws met the ground after jumping a huge log and her claws dug into the ground making her come to an immediate halt. Juno scanned the trees that were on the opposing side in spite of a warrior in control.

She then gracefully emerged and sat at the edge. Her eyes had gone back to her original emerald ones. Juno lifted her skull towards the sky and a howl sang from her throat, calling someone to meet her and possibly accept her. The song ended from what seemed longer than a minute and she laid down with her head on her paws as she waited silently. Her gazed stared at the melting snow in front of her paws, spring was coming and soon there would be no snow. Just an occasional downpour. Juno had a love for rain, sometimes Ace, her mate that died with her pup, would watch the rain drops outside his den at night together. A quiet whimper escaped her mouth at the thought of loosing her loved ones. She regretted staying behind to nap, she knew that if she was there with her mate at her side that she could of easily killed the creature that killed them all. I miss you, all of you... Her black tail curled around her and one of her ears stayed perked up to listen for any movement to occur while the other ear pierced back against her head. The sound of the wind silenced her thoughts and she watched the trees patiently.

((I have permission from Alpha Azul to accept new members as he is very busy))

Waves of emotion flew over the cream fae from her confrontation with the brute she had just met. Thoughts and memories of her now dead parents whizzed in her mind creating a blur of emotion that threatened to spill over her walls. Holding back the urge to scream or sob the caretaker's paws led her far from that side of the boarder and into an area rich with fallen snow. A white blanket lay untouched on this land, making everything sparkle in the afternoon snow. Taken by the sight Creek let her mind wander, away from Wotai and her dead parents. Her cream and white frame almost melted into the snowy landscape with its seemingly flawless hues, though her pale blue eyes stuck out against the sea of ivory.

Letting her mind wander she suddenly heard on the wind a new howl near the south boarder. Perking up as to who the sound came from she stood taller and started towards the sound. Picking up a swift trot the cream fae covered ground until she reached the crest of a small hill. Standing on top of it her pale gaze looked down to see a black wolf sitting looking at the snow. Looking harder she saw that some of the fresh snow was melting and wondered if the short winter was already over. Padding down Creek cleared her throat to the black female and dipped her maw. "Greetings female I am Creek a caretaker of this pack, what is it that you are doing here?" She asked with a soft voice that drifted on the wind quietly.

((It's fine by me))

Her ears perked up at the words of another wolf. Juno lifted her head to see a creamy white fae staring down at her. "Nice to meet you Creek, I am Juno. I have come here to become one with your pack. I've been traveling a long distances for quite some time now and I was hoping your Alpha would take me into consideration. She stood seemingly taller than her natural height. The fae watched the caretaker with interest. It was nice to know someone was able to hear her call. Yes it wasn't the Alpha for whom she was expecting but it would do. Her tail stood a little higher off the ground as she spoke. "I believe I would become a valuable asset to this pack as well."

Juno's emerald eyes gleamed with pride for which she was a skilled and strong fae. It didn't matter what rank she would be given if she was accepted. All that mattered is that she would soon possibly be appreciated for the things she would accomplish along the way. The fae padded her feet against the deteriorating wet ground as a wind blew past. Her fur thankfully had managed to keep her warm throughout the wintery months she ran. A silent sigh left her maw as she thought of all the hard nights she had to pull through. Now that spring was almost here she could soon get to watch the peaceful rain to calm her thoughts once again. Juno gazed into the caretaker's piercing blue eyes as she waited in response.

Walking closer to the new female Creek held a wide smile on her creamy face. Her pale eyes shined with happiness at meeting another nice wolf and she hoped she would become to befriend her in time. "Nice to meet you as well Juno, my Alpha is away on business right now, but has left me and a few others with the task of accepting new wolves. This is a growing pack with many roles to fill, tell me what sort of things can you contribute to my pack? Can you hunt? Fight? Heal?" She questioned, curious as to what rank would prove suitable for Juno. Raking her gaze over the female she stood slightly taller than herself, toned with muscle and strong limbs. Creek wondered if she would make a good warrior or if she had a secret talent for the pack.

With winter underway it would be a few more months of cold nights, the pack would need strong wolves to assist with hunting and scouting. Creek and Geneveive had their hands full already with securing the last few herbs for over the winter. With the early frosts most had perished from the cold, but there were still some to be collected. Ember would help her gather them if she asked, but had warrior tasks of her own. Creek had yet to meet with her apprentice Lucy, but had heard great things about her already. The rest of the wolves all played a part in hunting and protecting the pack, where would Juno fit in?

As Creek gracefully walk towards her, she couldn't help but notice she was a tad smaller than her. Juno also noticed a genuine smile crept upon the caretaker's maw. It made her feel welcomed, hopefully soon she could interact with her from time to time. "I understand what the Alpha has to do, I've come to know much more of the Alpha's duties as some ranks do not." Her thoughts shot back to the days her father would give the commoners orders and the times he'd reprimand his elites. The fae then questioned about her abilities. "I used to be an Alpha's daughter in my last pack. He put me in training since I was a pup. I was supposed to learn the necessities and capabilities of become a fine Alpha one day. Yes I can hunt, fight, and rarely heal." Healing wasn't her best ability but she knew how to collect certain herbs. "Back in my old pack we had enough caretakers so they thought I wouldn't need to learn such a skill."

Her muscles tensed up at the raw thought of having to deal with such training everyday. She had to thank her father though because without such work she wouldn't of become such a built and proper fae. Juno's long legs and emerald eyes made her look graceful and elegant. But because of such muscle and strength, no one would mess with her. She inherited great genes from both of her parents for whom seemed to be the strongest and fastest in their pack. "My greatest feature would probably be my agility. I'm very fast and can noticed incoming objects without a breeze. Ha it helps when running away from an angry bear though." When Ace, her mate that died and her ran away from the pack, a few months later an angry bear crossed paths with them. It took an hour to outrun the putrid beast but with such speed the two possessed it payed off. She wondered if Creek would understand where she was coming from and if she was capable of a greater rank. I wonder what she's thinking...

Creek nodded with interest as she listened to the dark fae before her. Her words hit deep within her as she spoke about her past and what she was capable of. Intrigued as to what this female could do in the future Creek made up her mind as to what rank she would hold as of right now. For now Juno wold be a warrior, brave and capable of defending the pack as well as keep it well fed. In time perhaps Azul would offer her a higher rank, but for now warrior would do.

"I understand where you are coming from, but in this pack newcomers are given a clean slate. Don't take it personally but high ranks are given out with time and by the Alpha when he sees you fit to hold one. For now you shall be a warrior and defend our pack like you have been trained to." She said warmly, hoping the female would appreciate her new rank. "You will be now known as Warrior Juno, welcome to our pack. You can explore the lands if you want or you can follow me back to the clearing to build yourself a den." She offered, now standing on her feet and eager to head back.

ooc-Juno you can now change your name to "Warrior Juno" and put a picture of your wolf as your avatar. If you have questions about changing your name or the picture please feel free to PM me.

"I expected that to happen. Time can only tell and patience is key. I will defend the pack with greatness and pride. It's an honor meeting such a nice and welcoming fae like you." She spoke with a warming smile. "Thanks for the warm welcome, I'll follow you to the clearing if that's alright. It'd be nice for some company being a newcomer and all." Juno stretched her long black legs before taking a pawstep. Her ear stayed lopsided to the side while the other stayed pointed skywards on her small skull. Awkward as it may seem Juno had no control over her ears. They seemed to have a personality of their own. Her older packmates would snicker but when Juno would glare at them for seriousness they'd straighten to the Alpha's daughter.

Taking the generous offer, the black fae then crossed the border and walked along Caretaker Creek's side till they came upon the clearing.

Creek smiled and started to walk in the direction of the clearing. Behind her she could hear the black fae padding behind her, turning her head back the caretaker addressed her. "I know you you defend this pack. You seem like an honest, caring and strong female and it is a pleasure to have you here." She said warmly as the pair began to cross the territory. Now a new blanket of snow was beginning to cover the landscape, covering the melted patches in crisp white snow. Silence now fell over the pair yet Creek's mind buzzed with questions for Juno.

"So," she asked finally breaking the silence, "you were an Alpha's daughter? That must have been interesting. I myself was the daughter of the head warrior in my old pack, but my mother used to be the healer." She said her voice trailing off a bit at the mention of her parents. It had only been that morning that the fae had heard the news from Wotai that her parents were dead, murdered in cold blood. Still raw in her heart the female dropped her head and picked up the pace slightly.

The silence that cut through them was broken when she spoke of Juno being interesting as an Alpha's daughter. "Yeah... you could say that." Other than the exhausting training exercises and packmates always expecting greatness out of you it wasn't all that bad being their soon to be Alpha. Zephren was a kind-hearted father but he wanted her to mate with another male named Brenet for whom she didn't want. She had already fallen for another in her pack that loved her for her. Ace... Ace... Ace... his name echoed through her head, constantly reminding her that he was no longer breathing at her side. Her heart had been shattered but she still remained control for which she had done for her whole life. Juno had to hide every emotion other than complete serious when she walked around her pack's camp. The only place she could be her true self was with her mate. The fae started to drag her feet as she silently moved behind the caretaker.

"My father wasn't one for games, I really never had a childhood. Ever since I was a pup I was forced into preparation and never really had any friends..." It was true, other than Ace all she had someone to talk to was her mother, if she wasn't hunting or her own thoughts. Juno picked up a faster pace and trotted in unison with Creek. "Everyone respected Zephren, my father and my mother Alisia. They were magnificent Alphas but me being theirs I had no control of my future." She didn't want to mention Ace and her once was pup, Riot, just yet, her trust hasn't fully been considered. Once she knows for a fact that she can trust Creek, Juno will tell the story of her loved ones that died and how she ended up here. She waited for her response in silence once again.

The pair walked a good distance before Juno started to speak again. Craning her ears behind her cream head Creek listened and nodded her head as she spoke. "Sounds difficult, I too was working at an early age and had little time for fun. In my old pack healers couldn't have mates, so my mother gave up the job when she met my father. When I was born she started to train me so she could get into healing again. It took over my life and I never got to enjoy being a child." Creek said with a sigh. She never knew what she was missing yet figured there was something there that should be.

Creek then heard Juno pad up beside her and flashed her a smile as she continued to walk. Juno then spoke of her parents and Creek caught her voice trailing off. The fae looked somewhat upset and it concerned the female. "Are you alright?" She questioned wondering just that of her new friend.

Creek's understanding tone of voice made her feel somehow relaxed. A sigh of relief almost whispered from her maw. "Extremely. It's good to know I was welcomed with a friendly hello, though." She winked at the white fae with a smile knowing that she could become her newest and first official friend. Juno turned her head and analyzed her surroundings that would soon become her home. The sounds of what seem to be birds chirping and the ground slowly disintegrating into water are all the signs of spring coming it's way. Breaking the harmonious sounds by Creek's question made her turn her head to face the eyes of the caretaker. Juno didn't know she had noticed her trailing off until then. She let out a shaky sigh of surrender as she spoke trying to remain composed. "Yes, I'm alright. Just a little tired from all the running I've accomplished today." she exaggerated a bit, but only to keep her from knowing the complete story.

Juno wasn't one for the lying games, she was an honest fae and knew how to fix certain situations that were needed. That's what made her such a reliable wolf, someone to trust. Creek had been kind and treated her with friendliness. She guessed that sometimes there are things better unspoken. Truth be told, she was kinda tired. Tired from running, period. It was nice to be in an area of warm and comfort. To be accepted for you and not from where you came from or who is your parents were. Juno straightened and looked back in front of her and spoke in all honesty this time. "I've been running pretty much the whole morning, and wasted my energy chasing after a challenging hare. Made me a bit sore" She bowed her head a bit out of embarrassment. She didn't want to tell the part when the hare had managed to run her into a tree. Damn I hate that rabbit.

The muscle in her neck pinched at her skin and tightened. With a slow turn of her neck a small pop crackled. She kept her pace perfectly balanced with the other fae, making sure she wasn't slacking behind. Her black ears pierced against her skull and stared at the ground again.

Walking on Creek could now scent the main clearing as the wind blew her way. Scents of wolves filled her nose as did the scent of her den filled with herbs from earlier. Drawing in a deep breath she could scent Marrok and another female in the main clearing, perhaps others as well. Turning her cream head to the black female her voice spoke softly. "We are nearly there, only a short distance now." She sad before Juno spoke of being sore. Growing concerned Creek stopped abruptly and sniffed t the female. "Are you in pain anywhere? I have some dock leaves in my den that will help with soreness, we can go there if you like." She offered, her caretaker side kicking in. Starting to walk again Creek let her gaze fall back on Juno every so often, her concern of the new warrior growing.

ooc-We can pick this up in another thread in the clearing if you want.
