Raymond took light steps as he weaved through the tree's. His frame moved through the forest, his eyes scanned the area as if he knew exactly what to expect. Emerald eyes caught every single detail of every single little thing. It was spring, but that made no difference. He had smelled other wolves who traveled this way and he was curious. He held himself with pride, holding his head up high and his tail swung between his legs. He chuffed at the thought of possibly walking to a weak wolf's pack. The very idea disgusted him in every way. He walked forward, long legs stretching out. One after the other. She looked up towards the sky, noticing how the tree's closed their branches together and made the place seem dark, but not dark enough for his cold black heart. He sighed and continued walking. He knew there was no place that would be dark enough for him. His eyes sparkled as he caught the scent of a border, and by the scent it was very strong and patrolled every day by high ranks. He smirked and moved forward with great speed. He was trying to get to the border, the part where it would be most strong. Once he reached that part of the border he stopped, breathing in the strong scents of others. So their a strong pack are they? But are they dark and corrupt like I am? Maybe not as corrupt as me. He chuckled coldly and breathed in the fresh air once more. His emerald like eyes lit up and he sat down upon his haunches. His strong gaze swept the area and he stood back up. He turned and moved away from the border. He didn't want to join a pack, especially one that he knew nothing about. He stopped by the first tree that was only a few feet away from the border. He turned his head, looking over his shoulder with an evil glint in his eyes. He took a deep breath in and then went back to the border line, sitting down just inches away from it.

He took in a deep breath, tilting his head upwards to the sky. His howl rang out, as loud as he could get it to go. 'I'm here! I'm here!' His howl cried out for acceptance, it was strong and brave as well.He stayed in his position, shifting only so that he could dodge an attack if anyone dared to fight him. But other wise he was like a statue, only his chest rose up and down from breathing. His eyes stay looking forward, making sure to see every area at which another wolf may come to him. He smirked slightly and then his face recomposed to a dark statue like thing. Even if this pack is weak, I have already made my call... No going back. Besides, I'll just... deal with it. Unless they are too weak to do anything but complain, then I'll them. He shook his head and then cleaned his face and body of all and any emotions. If you tried to read him you would get nothing, a blank slate. That's all he really ever was anyways, a emotionless bastard whom killed any who tried to get in his way. He stared at the ground before pressing his ears against his head and curling his tail against his body. Step one, submission. That was all he needed. He needed to show that he would submit to the higher ranks and still be a warrior who would kill on command. That's who he was, a killer. He was proud of it too, killing and being corrupt. Sitting in the darkness and playing with others fears. Oh yes, he enjoyed it every bit. He disliked the one's who were...annoying. He hated the one's who thought they could order him around when they weren't of high ranking or the alpha. He didn't want respect, no... he wanted to watch the world burn. Not only that, he wanted to help make the world burn. After he did that, he would sit back and watch the flames eat everything alive. Burn to a crisp, turning into pure ash. Everything would be dark, and horrifying. That would be his paradise, the paradise where he kills everyone and lives till the very end of his last breath. Being a monster. Something that even the alpha of the evilest pack ever would fear him. Yes, that was what he wanted. To be known as a blood thirsty killing machine. He shook his head slowly and erupted in a chuckle. He calmed down after a few moments and his emerald eyes narrowed, watching and waiting for a response to his call.

It reverberated through the ground, his song very well having unleashed the fires of Hell, some form of darkness below, upon the unsuspecting victims that walked above and called themselves the kingdom’s beloved demons. One would have thought, and his mind nearly did echo that, it’s about time someone capable of meeting our Alpha’s exceptionally high standards has finally come. He had accepted a fair share of females, to much the distaste of his leader, but he would not deny the masculinity of his song as it echoed throughout the lands of Erenyx, pulling closer, into its clutches, the attention of its Beta male.

He walked with an abnormal fluency, an unnatural grace, into the clearing that the opposed, a mere lone wolf, sat in wait of his arrival. His golden eyes reflected boredom, even as they matched the others, seeing the way that evil lurked, exposed and deadly, upon the surface of an inexpressive face. Surely, somewhere inside of him, a killer sat in idle wait - untamed and borderline venomous enough that, had he not simply sought a permanent residency, he would have already struck the Beta male with the intent to ensure he never awoke to the sight of this world again. And yet, even with this promise lingering in the air, a threat, a daring warning, he did not feel afraid. There was an important difference between the two of them: where he lived and breathed to kill, Irrationality lived and breathed for the simplicity of living and breathing. He understood life, watching it unfold, with a perception that was almost scientific and ingenious. His intelligence could not be overlooked, and a result of such, he was a menace on the battlefield. Unlike so many others, he didn’t have to rely solely on brute strength, either. He had an analytic brain resting on his muscular shoulders, and even now, it analyzed most thoroughly the body language of this potential joiner.

He didn’t utter a single word. No greeting sat upon the tip of his tongue, no emotion settling upon his face as he continued to stare down the other wolf with intense, uncannily emotionless eyes. He knew that, perhaps, this male was not safe. Perhaps he would not go so far as to call him sick, but surely there was some kind of murderous illness inside of his brain? It simply did not hold him back. No, it fuelled him. It was his addiction.

And so the Beta male, a plethora of handsome golds, sat beneath the sun’s violent rays, illuminated by its light. He did not offer his name, the pack he represented, or anything … for it was the other that had called him forth, and thus it was his place to begin this conversation. To prove that he was worth Irrationality’s time and effort, for he would not otherwise sit silent, waiting, in the presence of such a monster having crawled his way out of the dark.

[I’m experimenting, don’t mind me. c; I thought I’d do this one a little differently and, instead, give the approachee the chance to start the talkin’.]

(OOC: Hey that's great! Experiment however you wish I'll do my best to help <3 =p )

Raymond watched as a male wolf walked over and held himself in the exact manor he was in. He sighed and studied the brute, defiantly of high ranking. His ears were pressed against his head once more and then he searched for words, opening his black heart to the beta. "I am Raymond, a loner in search of a home. This is the second pack I have ever run across. I wanted to join because I have been a loner too long." As he sat in the presence of either the beta or the alpha, he held respect for him. It was as if his world changed, he knew he would only kill if told to. In all reality the only wolves he had killed so far were his mother, his mentor, and a loner who had tried to start a fight with him. But no one knew that. They all figured he was a killer because of the evil glint in his eyes, and yes it was true. He would kill. But only if he thought the other was far too weak. For say, if they had most of their bones messed up and were an omega in the pack... but they couldn't do anything. He would put an end to their misery if they begged him too. Rather though, he liked to watch others suffer. He shook his head slowly, he knew he would have to accept the weak wolves. He was some what okay with it, if the rest of the pack made up for it. Yes, of course they make up for it... they seem to be strong. He smirked gently and studied the brute before him, never would he strike down someone who held that much respect. His emerald eyes dropped to the ground and he paused before speaking once more. "Is there anything you wish to know? Have I got skills? Yes... I can hunt and fight. I can kill... but only if commanded to." He sat very still, waiting for the other to speak unto him. Command him to leave for the natural look he held, the look of someone who could kill in just a few moments. But if you looked deeper, ever so much deeper. You could see a wolf that had set free his demons, one that looked to be taught. One that wished to see the world burn, but only because of what he had done or things that had happened to him. He had chosen to take his own mother's life in order to end her suffering and misery she had held. He only killed his mentor because he knew the plots of death that he had, especially since he had known Kerry was working for the Alphess Rory. But no one knew his story, they didn't bother to ask. They just assumed that he was a dark creature, while that may be true... he still had another side to him. Even with the dislike of weaker things, he held the side of a true warrior. Courage, and obedience without question. That was life after you joined a pack anyways, if you dare talk back or questioned a higher ranking then usually you would be punished.

"It's like everything I touch isn't dark enough, because things change to the light and none are dark like me. They hold themselves with pride yet they don't know the hardships of a demon." He shrugged slightly as he spoke, not really speaking to the beta but more or less speaking his mind about wolves who didn't know how to fight because all they were taught were kindness and love, instead of hate and blood. His green eyes shifted to the sky, still fully paying attention to the other wolf. Still waiting to be chased off or attacked. He was still ready for anything, that was how he was taught. Even with his gaze no longer on the he-wolf, he could hear every breath and every move he made. He smirked slightly and studied the clouds as they passed by. The forest's branches made it hard to see them unless you were really looking. He brought his gaze back down to the brute and then asked a simple question. "Who do you think I am brute? A killer perhaps? A demon? Or just another low-life wolf who claims to be those things in order to be accepted into a pack?" Simple. All he had to do was answer it, or ignore it. But to him it didn't matter, he didn't care what the he-wolf thought of him. He only cared what he thought of the brute, and his thoughts were nothing but respect for him. You could see the respect in his tone, and in his eyes. Out of all the wolves Raymond had met, he never held respect for one he had met so quickly. But with this he-wolf, it was different. He held respect for him, but also a bit of irritation. Since he didn't know what else to say anyways. He stayed quiet now, listening to the brute with a curious look upon his face.

He listened as the other wolf finally spoke to him, determining that he had yet to be concluded and, thus, remaining silent in the gaps that he otherwise could have filled with his input, but did not. Never once did his eyes waver, cleanly fixated upon the loner’s body, dragging up towards his mouth as he spoke, watching the words formulate upon the tongue of a supposed killer. To be able to kill on command was not an admirable trait in the lands of their neighbouring pack, though he mused the likelihood, regardless, of what worth it would hold in Alpha Teren’s eyes. He knew that his leader thought lowly of the majority of the Erenyx pack, for he had nearly said as much when the duo had been intertwined in serious conversation. Former Alpha, Steele, had supposedly done a bad job at conjuring up a pack of worthwhile, ruthless murderers, and Teren planned to correct the many errors of his reign. He had yet to understand the full extent of his leader’s plans, but he had already promised his undivided allegiance, and despite outside judgement, he was a wolf of his word.

He was unused to being questioned, for normally, it was him that fired question after question in order to determine the worth of a joiner. Needless to say, however, that the change was not welcome; his eyes were calculative, thoughtful, skimming the surface of his brain and its plentiful an impression for a proper answer. “I do not think about what you are,” he stated simply, matter-of-factly, dark gold eyes countering the green of the opposed. This much, he found, was blatantly honest of him. He knew nothing about this stranger, this newcomer, and thus he was unable to make an accurate assumption about him. He had said many things - his name was Raymond, he was a killer on command, and there had even been a reference to the demon lurking inside of him, jumbled somewhere inside of his many words - but none of those things, as of yet, had been proven, and so he would hold none of them to the face he was deeply implanting into his memory. “I will not pretend to understand you, thorough and thorough to your core, based upon word alone. I do not think you are a killer, for I have not seen death collect at your paws. I do not think you are a demon, for there is more to the name, the title, than I can hope to sum up during these first interactions. And, just as well, I do not think you are a low-life who makes untruthful claims to earn a place inside of a pack, because to be anything but truthful upon this border has no resulting benefit.” The Beta male sighed, then, having answered the male’s question to the greatest possible extent, eying him, borderline curious, in the hopes of uncovering his thoughts. “Besides, I like to give most the benefit of the doubt, in that I will assume them smarter than to make such a pitiful mistake as to lie.” There. It would have been the perfect moment to smile - an unspoken threat.

Pity he did not smile.

“Few things in this pack, you will find, have some of that light that you speak of. If you possess as dark a mindset as I have been led to believe, then perhaps you will find yourself most welcome and at home. If not,” he paused, allowing time for his words to sink in, for they were of the utmost importance. “You, perhaps, will collect here - rotting to the equivalent of dust - before you can decide that your home lies elsewhere. Such is the extent of Alpha Teren’s reign - a most unforgiving leader, who will expect the best of his Warriors. it is a Warrior you seek to be, yes? Do you believe that you will excel in said field?” He spared a moment of his time, pausing, gifting the necessary amount of time for the other to ponder his reply, before he fired one last question. “Will you be willing, capable, of respecting our ruler and following his word - treating it as though it is the law?” His voice was mechanical, carrying the droned tone of voice that a robot would have, even when his questions were so incredibly serious. Since he had arrived, he had not moved a single muscle - even his fur seemed eerily unaffected by the small breezes that tried to pull at him. He was a statue, encased in stone, unbreakable and, most importantly, unbeatable. There was no cracking his neutral expression; his robotic means of living upon this earth.

He was a rare demon, to say the least, bound to the same rules, the same laws, but in a different, unique way. There was nobody truly like him. None, may the ancestors of his kind forbid, as truly, deeply, eternally unfeeling.

Raymond nodded his head slowly, a smirk laying across his maw. "I respect my leaders, the higher ranks. Their words are the law and I shall obey no matter what." His green eyes studied the land and then back to the brute whom was accepting him. "Tell me sir, Is the alpha a strong leader? Or is he weak and the pack stronger? Because a good pack needs a great leader and by what I've seen he must be a good leader." He studied the brute once more and shook his head slowly, the darkness inside him stirring and turning. He knew deep down maybe he wasn't as evil as some wolves but he definitely would kill when told to. That's all a wolf really needed, was the ability to kill without questions. It was the way to survive and to learn about life. It taught him many things, like you could never truly trust another. It taught him to be blood thirsty and hold your strength. life had done many things for him but it was bound to do many more things.

He looked forward to one day having mate, no... not a mate. He wouldn't dare fall in love with a she-wolf. It would be far too much for his dark heart to fall in love. He figured there was no such thing as true love, it was lies that others told each others so they wouldn't feel so evil and dark or lonely. His eyes left the he-wolf again, staring at the woods that closed around them. "If I may... I think I would like to learn a thing or two from you." He was talking about fighting, maybe the other he-wolf would accept and teach him a few things about fighting. It would be of good use to the brute whom had such evil and dark within his heart and soul. "I will follow the pack with my heart and soul." He spoke the words truthfully, knowing he would most likely say the similar things to the alpha. His green eyes stayed on the brute now, nothing else catching his attention. "What is your name brute? I have realized how rude I must seem for not asking it sooner." Ironic, names mean so little until they are known as a legend.

Yet, he asked anyways.

Names mean so little, until they are great warriors with blood upon their maw and death within their eyes. Words. That's all that ever entered his mind, no worries just words from the past. It was like things like that tried to haunt him. His mind was filled with hate and maybe some sorrow. Sorrow for killing his own mother, how could he do such a thing? He didn't care. That's how. He just didn't give a damn about others lives. Except for the pack he joins, then he does risk his own life for another. But things are difficult and sometimes things don't happen the way you want them to... no they go wrong and you lose a loved one or your own life. He breathed in and out, staring into a reflection of his future.

The brute before him was a lot like him, maybe it was just the way Raymond would end up. Emotionless and not daring to show even the smallest of smiles or smirks. He had instantly held respect for the other and wanted to join the pack for the sake of learning from this new wolf he had met. But he also wanted a reason to stay, maybe meeting the alpha would help him with that. If anything he wanted to be deathly scary and much like the brute. His eyes flashed with emotion, shining with the slightest of evil ideas. Yes he was wanting a home, a permanent home. But that wouldn't mean he wouldn't fight and mess with others like the ideas he played in his mind. The idea of bringing a few teasing and pranks was amazing and made him light up with such brilliant ideas racing through his darkened mind.

Yet, he knew he would be far too busy for such acts. He didn't sigh like he wanted to... nor did he smile. But all his emotions tucked hidden within his emerald eyes. The evil smile that urged to spread across his maw stayed hidden within. He was trying to match the other and learn exactly why he held no emotion whatsoever. Did he not love? or fear? Maybe the brute before him held dark secrets that he wished to not share. Perhaps it was the simple idea of meeting a new wolf whom he did not know or trust. Especially knowing nothing about their past or whom they really were like. Yet he still came to the border and saw to it whom was fit to join and wasn't. He ordered with his eyes for the brute to speak and he did, he said the truth and could only hope that he had found a home. Yet... all in all everything could change, the future and the present. Everything changes within moments, within seconds. He still sat there... listening and waiting for words of wisdom he might gain.

This wolf had a lot of questions. He had never greeted another at the border quite so openly curious, and yet, he found himself musing silently why that was. He wanted to attain as many details as possible about Erenyx, about the way that it functioned, so that he could properly formulate an image of its standing inside of his mind and then could, thus, determine whether or not he wished to offer his perpetuated services. When the male, Raymond, inquired about their Alpha male, there had not even been the slightest pause before the handsome Beta male had parted his jaw, prepared to answer immediately; for he did not question his Alpha male’s power, not even for a second. “He is a strong leader, intent on making his pack even stronger so they may be of better use to him. Teren slaughtered our previous tyranny and consumed his heart, placing his claim upon these lands.” Even with that reminiscence fresh in his mind, the gore bleeding vividly in flashing pictures behind his unresponsive eyes, he did not find himself feeling particularly despondent - Teren, the pack’s new Alpha male, brought with him a power that would serve to benefit the weak, shaping them and molding them into something fierce. Just as he had placed his unbound trust into the paws of the Beta male that stood before this newcomer, he had, in turn, placed his trust into the paws of the Alpha male. They had an understanding that he had never been able to achieve with Steele. Perhaps, if there had been a little more time, then he would have been inclined to do something in vengeance of Steele’s claimed life. But there had not been more time. It seemed there rarely was.

“My name is Irrationality.” He answered the male’s second question before he bothered to pay any mind to his first, having needed a little extra time to contemplate whether or not he would be willing to train him. Teren had already requested that he look into molding the skills of Warrior Samael, which meant that said male’s training would be first and foremost upon the list of his priorities. He knew not when his service, as a trainer, as a molder of impressionable minds, had suddenly become so longed for. Recently, there had been an unexpected rise in the number of wolves that wanted to learn how to fight under his watchful eye. Although he did not care enough to decline the offers to train that continued to meet his ears, any who wished to learn from him would have to be accepting of the fact that he would need to carefully bide his time equally. After all, his title amidst the pack often required his services, his attention, elsewhere. He would train those that sought to learn from him, but those sessions would never rival the importance of his duties as a Beta male. “I will train you if you are certain that such is what you seek - it would be a privilege to partake in the betterment of Erenyx warriors’.”

The emotion leaking out of Raymond’s facial expression had not gone unnoticed. He observed this alteration until Raymond’s face was nearly a mirror of his own, remaining eerily silent, waiting for the cracks to surface - the cracks that revealed who he was underneath. He had seen many a blank face, but so few understood the ways of the emotionless; it was not that he did not wish to feel, it was simply that he no longer could. No longer did. He did not have a say in the matter. He would not wake up to tomorrow’s sun with a sudden change in his heartbeat. There would not be a brand new smile laced across his bronze mouth. Try as the newcomer might, it took practice to become what it was that he was - and by the time that they became that, it was usually too late to realize that they did not want it as much as they had thought prior. A life without the ability to love, after all, was the life of somebody eternally lonely.

Though, it was too late for him to care about that.

With a low sweep of his head, beckoning Raymond forth, welcoming him into the clutches of Erenyx’s own kind of Hell, he spoke over his muscular shoulder as he began to trek back towards his camp. “I welcome you into the lands of Erenyx as a Warrior, Raymond. Explore, and acquaint yourself with the faces of those whom share your kingdom. If you still wish to increase your strength, then feel free to find me upon a later date and I will help you as much as I may. Until then … serve us well.”

[Only respond to this if you feel the need; it is not required that you do so. Change your name to “Warrior Raymond” whenever it is convenient, and then, please, feel free to post wherever you’d like inside of Erenyx’s territories!]
