Gemini found a nice place in the moor, where she was on a part of the land that was a tad bit higher then the other area's. The moor was full of non-level land. So she wanted to not be on the down side of it. When she saw her opponent she quickly looked her up and down for any marks from past fights, or anything that might come in handy to know during the fight. Gemini had placed herself somewhere, that neither could get cornered and so she was ready. She grumbled a little annoyed that she must fight so soon, "So your my worthy opponent, Naomi." it wasn't a question, but a statement. Her eyes narrowed as she continued to watch the wolf. She could just barely see the scars under her fur, the black fae showed her teeth in a evil smile and just waited. For her to either speak or anything. She was ready for a fight, and this would be a good one.

Gemini looked at her opponent and growled, something about this wolf seemed familiar. Then a small flashback of flashing white teeth and her mother lunging towards her came. Then her father was jumping in front of her to protect her. Gemini flashed her teeth angrily, the thought of her father brought anger back to his death. The anger was something that pushed her on, but mostly the thought of death could make her heart fill with hatred and all of the anger you could think of. The onyx fae looked over the multicolored warrior in front of her. The form of this wolf wasn't completely right, just her colors brought back the memories. At this point anger flooded through her whole body, about ready to send her flying at the fae. But she held back, there was no point in loosing your mind. She examined this wolf for weakness, then looked her in the eyes. "I'm not wishing you luck like the others, because I simply don't believe in luck. So, all I say is don't die." her voice was part chuckle as she spoke. She was surprised that she could even force a voice out of her when she felt so angered. But of course, nobody would know why she is angry. So she was prepared for battle, and she wasn't going down without a taking Naomi with her.

Gemini lowered her body to the ground, so the wolf couldn't go for a low attack and take out her stomach area. Then, tucked her tail, for defense reasons so she wasn't made defenseless. Her ears went flat against her head and soon her shoulders rolled forward to protect her neck. Gemini spaced her footing also, to make it easy to move around to dodge an attack or even to land a counter-attack. Her next move depended on what the female would do. If she tried to attack and fly straight at her, then she would go for the neck. But if she went for either sides she would move and use an counter-attack and latch onto her shoulder. But lastly if the wolf doesn't attack first, she would run at her and purposely miss and latch onto her leg so it would slow any speed she had. Her yellow orbs focused once more of the female. Waiting to see what she did, surely she would attack first. But Gemini didn't know completely. A low growl rose in her throat as she waited for the multi-colored fae to do something. The hunter had never met this female so she wasn't sure how good of a fighter she was. Gemini though, found herself thinking that she was better.

With the collection of females and the single Alpha male, Naomi looked around the group. Her emerald gaze looked to each opponent, curious to see just who she would be paired up against. When the verdict fell onto the Hunter, she withheld a small chuckle. A Warrior facing a Hunter should be an interesting sight. The large female moved about the Moor, feeling the ground beneath her paws. This land was not completely level. Making the wrong move or jerking ones' paws could cause a serious injury. It would be important to her and her great weight, to watch her step and be careful of her surroundings. In the event that something did really hurt her, she would quickly seek assistance from the Healers, but that would be after the match. As the onyx female spoke, she turned her eyes on her. Green orbs stared to the other before her. "Luck is for the weak, for the wolves who need to believe it to achieve anything great. I admire your disinterest to encourage the idea of luck, but it will not help you in this fight." Her words were sharp and used to attack at her very mind. If you can conquer the mind, you can conquer any opponent. Naomi stood tall, showing the other that she would not be an easy opponent to defeat. If it meant proving her worth to the Alpha male, then she would fight as if her life depended on it. She tightened the muscles along her back and her legs. She was ready and waiting for the foe to make the first move. The Hunter had a smaller body, was quicker on her feet, so Naomi would have to use this to her advantage. Yes, she could not run faster than the other, but what she lacked in speed, she made up for in power and aggression. Her ears perked to the forward position of her scalp, while her eyes never left Gemini. Her tail curled over her spine, showing her dominance within her over the other. Naomi knew it would be pointless for her to attack first, so she would wait for the other, preparing herself for anything this new wolf would choose to do.

Gemini noticed the warrior wouldn't be the first attacker. The larger wolf used wolf also didn't seem to be more of an swift and fast fighter. So it would be pointless to go for the legs to slow her down, since she seemed like the wolf to use more strength and her size to her advantage. While Gemini had a bit of both, she wasn't the largest but she still was strong and fast. She noticed the warrior's body was tense so she was ready for the attack. Although Gemini knew it was better not to be tense, it is easier to move around, plus if she latched onto Naomi the pain would move through the muscles faster. Gemini didn't care whether that happened though, she knew what her attack would be now. She stayed in the same defensive position. The wolf was showing dominance to her also, which made no sense. They both were technically the same rank. She just joined as a hunter instead of warrior. Her lips pulled back into a snarl. Dumb wolf, I should tear that tail off of her. She held back though and stuck to her plan.

She would soon go racing forward at full speed but when she reached her she curved to the side, intending the wolf to think she was going straight into her. Then she would try to snap at her shoulder, where the wolf would have a harder time at grabbing her, but not impossible. If she landed the bite, she would latch on and try to push her to the ground. If she didn't manage this she would back up into her defensive position again. Once she flew forward and felt the rush of air against her. She felt fast, and stronger. Although she didn't let this distract her. She kept her mind clear, with only the thought of death to drive her on. She turned and wondered if she had tricked the wolf. Soon enough she would find out when she turned and went to lunge at Naomi. Her eyes focused on her shoulder as the muscles rippled through her legs sending power and speed into the jump.

It was in the first moments that Naomi wondered why she had been forced to face a Hunter. They were the weaker of the two ranks, forced to hunt for the pack, like slaves. There were times when Naomi would hunt for herself, but she was never tasked with hunting for the whole pack, let alone anyone besides her. In her years of experience, she had killed wolves for much less, though this was a spar. It was nothing too serious, just the determination of which female would come out on top. To her, rank was a good thing, having responsibilities higher than just the essentials of pack life was thrilling. In order to lead the others and teach them things from her past, would be nothing more than a pleasant dream. The thought of this forced a wicked smile to pull across her features. Her tail hung high as she stared to the Hunter before her. Her heart beat slow in her chest, nothing to be too anxious about. If only she had been chosen to face one of her same rank, then would it be a worthy battle. For now, she would play it easy. She would observe the attacker, watching her movements and attacks. She would learn so much of who Gemini was, all from this primal dance. With determination and hopes for a better future, Naomi relaxed herself, though continued to wave her bannered tail in the sky. It only then occurred to her what the Alpha would think of this display. Would he be pleased? Or would he see it as a threat? She wished for the first, though making him happy was not her main goal here. She would need to impress him just enough, just so she could prove to the other females that she was not to be messed with. Gemini would be the first to witness her malice. As the fae charged towards her, it all seemed to move to slow motion. Naomi could see every fiber of fur moving in the gust of a sprint. Each strand flew into the air, while still clinging onto her body for dear life. As the Hunter tried to trick her, acting as a decoy to the true attack, Naomi side stepped slightly. The move allowed their bodies not to collide, but still enough room for them to both attack each other. Gemini was the first to latch on, but Naomi was a split second behind her. The only difference in the bites, Gemini honestly had the better hold, that was obvious. But with Naomi's size, it made it easier to grab her back. Her teeth clamped onto the scruff of her neck. Not the best spot to grab someone, but it was a start. With her body relaxed and calm, she could see everything as it could be. With each wolf having a secure hold on the other, Naomi had to think quick as to what she could do. How could she turn this to her advantage? Planting her front left paw, she tried to use her weight to bring the other wolf down. She could tell that Gemini was going for the same effect. Growls and snarls escaped from her clenched teeth as she jerked her head from side to side. As the two of them were at a stand still, Naomi decided it was time to try something else. As she released the female, she used her large head to force the other off of her. Gemini did not want to release and so she forced it to happen. This caused Gemini's teeth to rip and tear through her skin, causing blood to drip down her front left leg. When she was detached from the other wolf, she separated them greatly. She panted softly, mouth agape as her burning green eyes stared to the other. "Trying to push a wolf down who is larger than you, is not smart. I know you are just a hunter, but to fight someone larger than you... You are going to have to be more creative. Consider this a lesson in spars and fighting. I now understand why you were granted the rank of Hunter." Naomi snickered as she held her tail high once more. This time, she dropped her chest to the ground and growled angrily to the other. Her rear was high in the air and her ears were pressed to her scalp. She did not remove her eyes from Gemini as she wanted to see the look of whatever emotion she was feeling in her eyes and her body. Pushing off her hind legs, Naomi charged for Gemini, but used a large rock to get leverage enough to jump into the air. If she timed it right, she could grab hold of the fae's back, but it she did it wrong, then she could potentially hurt herself. If she did not make contact with Gemini, then she would collect her thoughts and try another way to attack.

When Gemini moved to the side, in order to trick the female she noticed Naomi wasn't tricked. Although she managed to land a bite on her shoulder. She scolded herself silently, idiot, how did you not see this coming. Naomi had got a hold of her scruff. She felt skin puncture on the back of her neck, but not enough to do major damage. She didn’t release Naomi at all, she had the advantage point and that was what mattered.They both pushed at each other, trying to overpower the opposite one. But Gemini didn’t give in to the strength of Naomi. Soon after the clash Naomi released Gemini, a small growl of pleasure erupted through Gemini’s throat. But she bit harder as Naomi tried pushing her off. A chuckle escaped her lips as she ran her tongue her now red teeth. After running her tongue across her teeth they soon were white again with only the stained colors from past years, although she hadn't had much years so they were mostly shining white. The two fae’s were at a good distance, an evil grin crawled up her face as the other female spoke. Her eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she noticed the blood in the other females fur. “Trying to push another off of you isn't such a good idea either. Especially when they have a good grip that will surely tear skin. I may be a hunter, but I am not weaker. I will not tell you a story of my life, but I have fought all my life and I chose this rank for the packs well-being.” she paused and fixed her position, into a more defensive way instead of offensive. Somehow she knew the wolf would attack soon. “Don’t think I am dumb bitch, I do not need lessons from a whelp like you. I think you need a lesson, watch that tail before I tear it off of your flea-bitten rump. I think all warriors know this but you.” Gemini started becoming more harsh, and soon noticed the fae was charging at her at jumping through the air it her. But Gemini swung her body to the side swiftly and realized that this was her chance.

Naomi left her throat open for attack by jumping at her, but this wasn’t a fight or die spar. So, Gemini flung herself at Naomi trying to latch onto her neck area, but purposely miss the neck so she did not kill the wolf. If she missed her attack, then she would most likely get her leg or actually get the throat causing almost certain death and for Gemini to be exiled. If Gemini got a hold of Naomi’s neck she would have more of an advantage at pushing Naomi into submission then her attack before. But if Gemini got her leg, she would pull and hope to dislocate it, then again she could have an easier time pushing her to the ground. But if she missed and went heading for the throat she would evade her own attack maybe snapping at her still. She didn’t want to kill the fae for no good reason but a spar. But if the alpha told her to she wouldn’t hesitate a bit. She kept her eyes on the wolves movement in case Naomi swiveled to the side. She wouldn’t freak out in a moment like this though. Gemini was normally a very calm wolf, and she survived off of her calmness. It made her have an advantage when she was fighting someone easily scared and not calm at all. She wasn't easily taken down nor was she easily scared. When she realized the wolf still lifted her tail, it made Gemini wish she could actually tear it off. But she would win with that, although the wolf should know when in a spar never have your tail lifted in dominance. Another wolf could easily grab it and take control of you and of course if you fought it. You could lose it, a tail is a good key to dominance. Gemini never let her eyes glance away from her target once. She was prepared for almost anything, although she now cleared her mind. Only thinking about landing this attack, there was no possible way she could lose this fight in her mind. Although she knew it was all the alpha's choice who won, she had noticed before Naomi lunged at her that other wolves had finished there attack and Teren would go and tell them who won. They were well distanced though so she never heard who won. Her body was calm as she was flying at the other fae.

The slow motion seemed to pick up once more, and she missed Gemini. But it was to be expected. It's hard to hide a large wolf, especially when she is flying through the air. Naomi landed on the ground and spread her paws out, allowing her stance to be defensive and strong. But it seemed the fae had grabbed her at the last second, grabbing hold of her leg. She could feel the hard bite on her shin bone. Again she would force herself to be hurt. She ripped her leg from the powerful jaws, feeling the ripping pain once more. This time, she separated them and growled to the other. "The point in hurting myself, knowing what would happen, just goes to show you I do not care if I hurt myself in the process of hurting you. The fact that my tail bothers you so much, shows you can't keep your puny mind focused on the acts which are happening now. You are so foolish. As if you chose the rank you got. It was awarded to you at the border, just as mine was awarded to me, by Beta Nyx herself. You act as if being a Hunter is something to brag about." Glancing to the side, she looked to the Alpha watching their spar and then back to Gemini. This was it. She had to give it all she had. Growls and barks escaped from her maw, while her emerald stare gazed to the female before her. She could feel the warm blood clotting in her coat around her shoulder and dripping down her rear right leg. She shook away the pain, though it throbbed greatly within her mind. She lowered her head as she rushed towards the other wolf. No matter what happened, she was going to make contact with the other. Her jaws opened wide, revealing the lines of incisors, ready to grab and tear as they pleased. Naomi has went straight for the shoulder of the other wolf. At worst, she would grab the back. But even with her large mouth she could still do damage with such a hold. She hoped she would grab the shoulder, being able to do a great deal of damage, though hiding her left shoulder from the other as not to injure it further. Naomi collided with the other, using her weight and bite to try and force the other wolf down to the ground.
