Dropping the flowers from his maw, Odin shied away from the pack. How could he look at Ember right now? How could he stand to look at the wolves which surrounded them? It was all too much for the young wolf and his quick beating heart. His somber golden eyes held the sting of a thousand heart breaks. A huge wad began to build within his throat. What could he do to fix the mistakes he had made. He was not the best hunter, nor the best warrior. He was sub par when it came to both positions. He knew this and mostly any wolf who knew him knew this. In all honesty, He should have been an omega, but Azul had been too kind as an Alpha to allow that to happen. When the male raced from the lands, he knew no direction to go. Where should he go? What should he do? To fix everything he would need to bring the biggest and baddest kill this pack had ever seen by himself. He would prove to Ember, to her healing mate and to all that he was a better wolf than they thought of him. Odin raced with his ears flat and his tail out straight from his form. His paws pushed and kicked the dirt behind him, racing to a destination that was sure to carry some kind of prey. Since it was still autumn, the chances of seeing a deer were pretty high. But deer were too easy. He made his way to the lake, Mirror Lake and slowed down on his approach. The scents of prey littered the area, as they prepared for their ascent to higher climates and warmer temperatures. Odin scanned the area from left to right and back again. At the last moment, he caught the sight of a Moose. It was a bull, aged to perfection. Odin sized up his opponent and made the final decision to strike. He coiled his body to be as small as possible. He whispered gently to himself. "Ember, this is for you. I shall love you even if I do not make this kill. I wish you would know how I've felt after these years of knowing you." Odin pushed his body forward, racing for the bull and lunging at the last second to the unsuspecting animal's rear. Teeth latched on and he held tight as he waited for the moose's reaction.

(ooc- Hope you don't mind, but I used some pieces of my sample post in this one.)

The monster tore through the region, the large and strong hooves he owned breaking and crushing the vegetation and fallen twigs in his way. The beast that haunted the verdure forest that included several minor creatures compared to the monster when dealt with strength and size, roamed out towards the open in a calm state Releasing echoing blares of snorts and grunts, the male voiced these harsh, intimidating sounds to warn others of his presence, should they heed their backs with cautious as the bull stepped into the blades of tall grass. It wasn't everyday the large brute left the security of the forest, it was his safe haven but with the coming of winter he needed to be prepared, the leaves on trees and the grass beneath him would die like souls: he would grow to be hungry and would feast on log bark to quench it. This spring had been glorious, just like it always was when it came to mating.

The females of his species flocked like crows to his kingdom for the bull to plant his seed inside them so they can be mothers and pass his genes to other parts of the world. The monster couldn't be everywhere. There had been a few occurrences though that the male had to defend what was rightfully his, and with some of the challengers scrawny and weak, there were a few that tested his strength. Those bulls, however left with severe scars and some with the chip of an antler. The king was a force to be known, and each year new brutes get to learn that lesson. Halting in his prideful step once near the lakes bank, the male spread his forelegs out just a bit so he would still be able to keep balance and stand. The beast would lean forward, arching his head and neck down so his muzzle was faced downwards and barely touching the lake; Lips peeling themselves back, the bull would drink up the water slowly, savoring the moment before he would travel once again to the other edge of his territory.

His alone time though got cut short as a painful, string of pain shot up into his rear. Admittedly, the moment did take him by surprise and when lifting his head up and turning to see the one who would be sorry, anger sprung into the monsters chest when he came face to face with a disgusting wolf. "Wrong move." Nostrils flaring, a furious grunt left the bulls muzzle, eyes narrowed as with a quick movement, he began to raise his free leg into the air, kicking at the canines mid-section with heavy blows to release the wolf from himself. The male held on tight, but eventually the king had managed to kick the short creature off. Waiting no time for the male to escape, the bull began to stomp onto the wolf's body. Sharp hooves crushing to inflict damage, before the monster lowered his head and captured the male with his prideful crown. Only few mammals where brave and strong enough to take on a killing machine such as himself, all failing when they set their sights on him unlike the other weaklings of his species that got torn to shreds by the brave carnivores of the land.

He was the king, a killer of all who dared challenged him and who crossed his path. Those fortunate to survive would surly have a tale to tell, though it's unlikely they would even still be breathing for long as the wounds would soon take affect to drain the life from their pitiful eyes. This wolf, this youngster would not however be allowed to live, the bull would make sure of it. Set in aegis, the monster continued with his torment: stomping and hurting the wolf with his greatest weapons. Sounds the canine would make did not go unheard by the king but blinded by his anger, the noise only drove him to go further. After a few minutes of his torture, the beaten and now broken body lost it's movement to try and escape the king's wrath, laying still in limp as the organs stopped working to leave a dead corpse for the scavengers. Satisfied, the bull gave one last crush from his hooves before walking away head held high in pride. He would get to see another day, like always... the wolf would not. Let this be a message, no one can kill me.
