The dusty fae padded slowly through the chilly land thankful for her thick fur but also wishing it covered the pads of her paws which stung with the cold. Winter was soon to break, but that didn't make this cold weather any better. Looking ahead steam rose into the air not to far ahead of her. Steam meant warmth. Quickening her pace she approached the warm steaming waters her blue eyes lighting up with happiness. Wading into the shallows she allowed the water the lap around her ankles, thawing out her seemingly frozen paws. She hated winter, She hated her rank and she hated the fact that she was so curious as to what it would be like to live in a pack. If she hadn't have left her loner life this wouldn't be an issue. Or even if she had just sucked it up and stayed in Erenxy this wouldn't be an issue. Omega was about learning, she needn't learn anything, she was an experienced fighter, not a pup. Growling to herself she lookedaroud.how was here any Better? She still had no friends, she was still an outcast and she was still an omega. A nobody, a nothing, a burden.

| Fel trotted around the lands, enjoying the feeling of frost nibbling at her paw pads. Her toes would tingle at the cold, and her joints might need extra stretching, but winter was still the season she was bred to thrive in. Compared to her homelands, this weather was nothing. Tail snaking behind her, she caught the trail of one of her fellow pack members and decided to follow it. She had no particular place to be at this hour, and making sure no one was up to or in trouble was always a decent investment of her valuable time.
It didn’t take long for the beast’s wide strides to carry her to the place called Siren Spring. Upon arriving, she checked her surroundings for anything other than the wolf wading in the water. Her ears continuously flickered back and forth, even as her pale gaze came to rest upon the fae she identified as that first Omega, Pharika. Unlike her, Fel chose not to go into the water, but rather to sit right beside the pool and allow the hot vapors to warm her instead. In a cautionary tone, she called out to the other, “I would advise you not to leave the surrounding area until your paws are completely dry after you step out of the water. Unless you want to get frostbite, that is…” The Elite observed her silently from there, taking a seat on the warm but dry stones. She was rather ambivalent to the heat, but could not say it was unpleasant to experience. Perhaps she would come here to stretch in the mornings…

Pharika heard the approaching wolf before she saw or smelled her. Turning her head at the sound of a voice she nodded slightly "Yes, Yes that is a rather good idea."she replied. Stepping backwards out of the water she flicked her paws one at a time, the excess water dripping off. Padding over to a flat rock she stepped onto it, allowing its best to begin drying her paws. Glancing back to the fae that spoke she noted it was elite Fel, a face she recognized, though she was unsure if it was from Erenxy or Helidos. Yes her time spent in both packs was brief and hope clawed within her, wishing she could stay with this pack for longer. Glancing around the steamy area she sighed, it was a fairly nice place. Looking back to Fel she smiled slightly "Winter will soon be over, Hopefully my paws don't freeze off before then" she said with a chuckle. Hopefully she could finally make a friend. Maybe that would help her climb to a different rank.[/b]

Fel watched boredly as the other heeded her advice. Taking advantage of the heated rocks, she moved to lay down, lowering herself from her statuesque seat. The warmth enveloped her belly and chest almost pleasantly, but her head and neck remained tall, watching the omega closely. She considered mentioning the other omega, the one Fel had allowed into the pack, but decided that it was best if those wolves didn’t interact just yet. As Fel saw it, they both had to prove themselves worthy of being full members of Agavos… For now, they were wolves whose actions she scrutinized for mistakes or unruly behavior. As far as she could see, however, Pharika might be a much more promising individual than Emily, whose stupidity left a direct trail from Erenyx to Agavos which Fel had to go cover up. The raven fae’s ear flickered at the sound of more verbal interaction thrown towards her, something she did not often receive. A smile was also given to her, but Fel’s flat tone somewhat rejected the other’s chuckle and other friendly characteristics. “Yes, it will soon end. Unlike you though, I rather enjoy the frozen aspects of winter… I prefer the iced, grey trees with barren limbs to those full of emerald life. All spring brings is rain, excessive warmth, and pups. Everything is easy. Prey is bountiful and naïve. Herbs are growing everywhere for the healers’ stocks. Pack numbers increase by the litter… But it is winter that tests the strength of the truest warriors and hunters.” She huffed in thought, adding after a moment in almost a growl, “Besides, pups are generally annoying little pests.” Fel had carried a litter once before, so she knew the entire process of raising pups, but she had never taken a liking to it.

Pharika sat and listened intently to the high ranking fae nodding slowly as she spoke. "Yes indeed winter is a test of strengths. Though the coldness isnt what bothers me, more the deadness of everything. In the winter everything seems so dead...Not to say the cold isnt nipping at my paw pads though." She mused looking around at the snow, Melting and otherwise. She missed the wamrth of the sun and the soft grass under her paws. However she wasnt about to go whining like some little whelp who lost their mommy on a hunting trip. No, she was on a mission to prove herself and become a warrior or a hunter and maybe even a higher rank than that in the future. She knew that groveling and yelping to the higher ups begging for a decent rank would only get her in the omega status longer. She wasnt even sure if Fel was a higher up, Maybe she did have the power to rank her up maybe she didnt. Either way it was a good idea to make a good impression.

((Fel had nothing to say. My apologies.)) Fel, finding herself bored with the repetitive musings of the other, had no worthwhile response. Instead, she focused more on stretching her forepaws forward in order to loosen her shoulder. Aging was an annoying process, holding no benefit. Some would argue that one becomes wiser with age, but Fel believed there was no definitive progression of wisdom. One simply experienced more with every increasing year of existence, and that was all. Yawning, she took her gaze off of the omega and focused it on her pelt. It did not hold the luster and softness it once did, but she was not yet greying, which was surprising. Most wolves at her age showed a fair amount of white patches of fur, but the brutish fae stayed a fairly solid raven black. Taking the opportunity, she gently nibbled and straightened out a particular knot on her right shoulder. Despite the amount of work her rank currently held and her age, her pelt was usually well-groomed. It was not that she cared about her appearance, but rather she preferred to keep herself tidy in general. Fel could be a very meticulous wolf, and it showed in every aspect from her performance in her duties to the condition of her thick pelt.

| ((No worries, ^_^. Also don't mind my kinda sorta Alice and wonderland quote haha))
Pharika sat in silence her ice blue eyes sliding around her surroundings. Maybe being an omega wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, especially if all wolves eyes were on her then she would have a better chance of gaining respect in the pack. Even more so if she climbed higher than warrior. Many would think her ambitions to be insane, an omega climbing to lead warrior or beta. Pharika however liked to think herself an optimist. Not always one though she would admit, however now that she had a chance to make something of herself she wasn't about to give up.
"You know miss Fel, I intend to work hard to get myself to the position of warrior. But as many probably do in this pack I hope to push myself harder and maybe climb higher. Some may think that nearly impossible for an omega like myself. However, I like to try and believe six nearly impossible things before breakfast. Helps me push myself." Pharika said finally breaking the silence. Yes, the dusty fae had every intention to push herself to the max. She would climb, maybe not as high as she hoped, but she would not spend the rest of her life as an omega.

((Apologies with the lateness and shortness. I haven't felt up to posting lately, and simply forgot about this one. >.< )) Fel relaxed, feeling her aching muscles stretch and find relief. It was close to blissful. Her ears flickered towards the sound of the Omega talking again, to which she smirked and rumbled out in an icy voice, “Oh by all means, try and climb. But don’t push yourself too hard… Wouldn’t want to break those dainty little bones of yours…” The elite chuckled slightly, deep within her chest. Eventually she rose, shaking off her pelt and getting ready to depart. The dusty younger fae did not seem to have any intention of doing anything stupid, and Fel already gave her the advice that would save her paws. The brutish wolf’s work here was done. But she waited one more moment, standing still like an onyx statue, strong in her form. “Don’t kid yourself, fae. Those who push themselves to do what they believe is impossible die still living in a world of their own imagination. Be ambitious and do your best in your duties, but be realistic.” She yawned boredly, adding, “Only those who know who they are will die knowing where and why they were.”

Pharika listened intently to the older fae. "I do not believe that it is impossible. It is others who believe it impossible. I believe only a few things to be impossible. I personally believe that nothing short of flying is impossible to those wolves who try and give it there all. I know who I am, I know that I am a fighter and a protector. I know that I have found where I belong and who I will be loyal to till my parting breath. Well elite Fel, have yourself a pleasant day. I enjoyed chatting with you." she finished with a faint smile and a respectful dip of her head. She only hoped that she had made a good first impression on the gold fae and that she wouldn't think her an ignorant whelp, one deserving of the omega rank. Sighing to herself she wondered when Alpha Desmond would call a pack meeting, when she would have a chance to request a higher rank where she could be of better service. That was her biggest issue with being omega, she felt so useless. Like she was just a burden tagging along for the ride.

Fel let the beginnings of a growl rumble in her throat. This fae… If this had been simple conversation with an idiot before, it was now plainly annoying. Piercing, almost lifeless eyes latched onto the other’s gaze, daring her to meet them. The elite knew the fae would not. “A word of advice, Omega Pharika: Don’t intend to ‘chat’ with Desmond in the manner I have allowed you to. And let it be clear. This was not a gathering of friends. This was me using my time to save you from a trip to the healer’s den. I can just as easily make one absolutely necessary for you, if you have forgotten who you are here and why.” With a snort, she turned around and strode off into the snow, being incredibly generous in her opinion. An omega, chatting with her? She might win her warrior rank, but something greater was unlikely in the raven demon’s eyes. The specimen she left behind her had a massive amount of learning to do before she could be ready for a position of leadership. As for now, the fae needed to know her place. If she acted in this manner again towards the elite, she would be reacquainted with the standing of her rank. If she had acted in this manner towards the Alpha… Pharika would be lucky to keep her head on her shoulders. With a heart of ice, Fel trotted into the expanse of white snow, her onyx figure eventually disappearing from sight. -Exit Fel-
