The obsidian fae slipped through the trees on the densely forested main camp of Erenyx, with the words she would say to the Delta Caspian perched on the tip of her light pink tongue. She had intended to greet him and to make his acquaintance, to get to know the brute her shared her rank to some degree. The day was dawning, as she had preferred to rise considerably early, at times before the sun had a chance to kiss the earth in it's light, bathing it in it's rays. However, she had not chosen a time too incaninely early, but with the winter casting it's shade, the morning brightness came later than usual, assuring at least some wolves would still be tucked comfortably into their dens, nothing she could blame them for. She moved until she was certain she had found his den, she gave a quiet, clear bark to announce her presence, before continuing on with her message. "Delta Caspian, if I am not greeting you at an inopportune time, I would like to request a meeting with you, if only to make acquaintance with you," She announced to him, voice calm and steady, as it usually was, allowing him a moment of response before continuing on. "If you are not otherwise engaged, I invite you to join me at Frozen Fang Pass, for some privacy from the bustle of many wolves." She did not count on a response, but instead straightened, respectfully backing away from the den that was not hers, and proceeded to head toward her destination, to await the male, whether or not he would come. She was aware that he could become otherwise inquired of, especially by the Alpha, and would have no choice but to ignore her own query. But if not, she would wait for him at the bottom of the frozen mountain, for some time before she gave up on his arrival.

Long legs strode purposefully toward the territory rightfully declared 'Frozen Fang Pass', onyx head bobbing in time to her lithe lope. With the coming of winter, it was even further snow covered, it's frosty temperatures and biting winds swirling the light dusting of snow that covered the ice about, creating a miniature twister. Cool golden eyes would observe the natural phenomenon with a slight spark of interest, watching as the crystals formed  into a tube, moving in perfect harmony, curving around each other, and picking up more flakes. It was an intriguing thing to observe, to imagine that something so much bigger could flare through their home, destroying everything in it's wake with no mercy. Simply spiraling out of control, with immense strength. Finally she tore her gaze away from the snow devil, to watch hopefully for the approaching figure of her equal, watching as the snow danced, a few flakes falling from the sky. Hopefully a storm would not hit.

The male was not asleep, far from it in fact. He was located in his den, large body in a crouch and silver orbs bright and thoughtful as his long tail flicked from side to side restlessly. He had been letting things drag out much too long, his plans to overthrow Teren had not progressed at all and he was with the pack almost a year now. A soft growl of frustration slipped between gritted fangs and he gave his tail a particularly vicious lash disturbing loose dry leaves and moss and causing them to flutter about the den as if they were desperate for escape. He was not a coward. But why was he putting off slaying his brother? A restless sigh escaped him and the dark male pushed himself into a standing position- head slightly ducked as his large frame did not agree entirely with the den. A shredded pelt lay beneath his oversized paws and the delta knew he needed to escape the confinement of his den before he did some real damage. He was leaning back on his haunches to attempt neatening his pelt before facing his pack mates as it would probably do good to look a bit saner then he currently did when a bark caused him to freeze, ears pricking curiously.

Caspian remained in complete silence as the fae spoke, eyes glittering cautiously. Not one word sounded from the dark brute and he allowed her to leave without any acknowledgement. Minutes ticked by and the delta stayed sitting in his den, a frown present on his features. He hated females, his meeting with Banshee had not changed that fact though he had accepted the Helidos fae with a goal similar to his own. But it was just females got on his nerves, learning to forget the past was idiotic and made you weak. You were supposed to learn from it and make sure you didn't repeat your mistakes. This time of the year made it even more irritating to be around them and the male pulled at the shredded dear pelt. However he was curious as to what she wanted and after a while he shook his large head and left the den, not bothering with his pelt any longer. He stood tall for a moment snow already settling on his onyx fur. The slightest sign of a smirk became present on his features, Winter had grasped the lands at last.

It did not take him long to reach his destination and the male slowed to a walk as another dark form appeared before him. Ah, he knew who this was. His fellow Delta. He leaned back on his haunches, fur fluffed against the sharp winds yet otherwise not seeming to be affected by the weather. A silver gaze fixed itself on the fae for a matter of moments before he finally spoke- voice smooth and cool. "Greetings fae, I recognize you as my fellow Delta however you will have to remind me of what you go by." He observed her cautiously, already curious to her thoughts on Teren. He could not ask her directly about the alpha though, it was too much of a risk. If his brother ever found out his thoughts towards him he would be in a spot of trouble. He awaited her reply patiently, tail curled neatly over his paws and eyes focusing on the icy peaks- jagged and harsh. Made them fit in perfectly with the world they currently lived in.

The vix's icy cool gaze, formerly wandering, had settled back unto the blank white that blanketed the Earth, watching as stray flakes were unsettled, blowing across the surface of the earth, as if running from an unseen foe. Her full attention was soon drawn, as the scent of a male arriving was detected, that of the Delta male. Her ears swiveled to the front of center of her cranium, resting there as her skull tilted forward. She observed the large form standing before her now, gaze sweeping over him. She knew Teren was not one to play favourites, and that he would not hand ranks to simply anyone, she did not doubt that he would even slay his relatives. But the fact that Caspian was the brother of the devil himself, and had the Delta rank lain at his paws at his coming to the border unnerved her, not in jealousy, but in a need to see how fit he was for the rank herself. She had earned her rank in lost blood and injuries, and she needed to know that her counterpart was not nothing more than an disturbed bastard that did nothing to advance the pack, simply favoured by his ruling brother. She shook the white snowflakes dotting her pelt off, ears flicking as she gave him a respectful, yet not submissive dip of the head, more than she would a Hunter or Warrior, but less than she would a higher rank up. She watched as he took his time to make his way over to her, the snow crunching obediently under his paws, submitting to the weight and pressure place upon it.

"My name? Well, brute Caspian, I am the one they call, Ariste." She responded, words rolling smoothly off her tongue and out her jaws, voice calm and low. Her luminaries came to fall on his silver, metallic eyes, fixing there when she spoke, to show she was listening, as her ears pushed forward, her tongue would weave through her front canines, jaws parting slightly to allow it room, as it grazed her cold features, scraping over her nose and jowls as she gave a small yawn. The crystallized cloud that was her breath rose into the air, dissipating into nothing as the wind scattered it. Winter intrigued her, it was full of mystery and interesting things, and was as cold as her own soul. But it was also a pain, it made hunting much more difficult, and more necessary as travelling took up more energy, requiring more food. She was one who would take the good with the bad, and name Winter her favourite season, as summer was simply far too hot and sunny, and travelling required even more energy, as well as frequent trips to take drinks of water. Perhaps the best time for hunting was early to mid fall or late spring to early summer, when there were helpless mothers nursing their children, and every animal was scurrying to gather food, while in the heat most lay dormant near water sources and places with lots of grass and foliage. Each season had it's own quirks, and you simply had to adjust with each one.

Paws would shift into the indent in the snow they created, fitting perfectly to their size, settling in as her long tassel wrapped around her body, falling neatly on her paws as well as she thought of what next to say. "I hope I had not woken you from a peaceful slumber?" She said, rolling her shoulders until the popped satisfyingly, releasing them from the grip of involuntary tension they had fallen into. "How are your duties within the pack? Have any worthy Warriors crossed your path?" She said, not one ever for small talk, except if she wished to receive something from someone, or to trick one into doing what she pleased. Clever words with no emotional attachment with small lies weaved in, forming enough pull and mystery to pull the wolf into her trap of words. However, this was not the case, she was simply filling the silence with idle, un-personal words, to see where it led her. Her lithe frame stretched out slightly, sitting in a more comfortable position as she silently awaited any response from the large brujo.
