| Spring had sprung and the world was going into full bloom. The birthing process had not been too challenging for Quinn as this was her second litter, and all of the pups were happy and healthy. She and Fenris had the task of keeping them in line for some did not wish to listen to the commands of the Caretakers assigned to them. She was having troubles of her own with them. Her last litter was not anywhere near as unruly and wild as these ones had been. Most of the time they were good, but it was normally one male who caused her the most stress. They needed help. The tiny Alphess moved from the security of the pack clearing. She headed for the Amor Glade. As tiny paws moved in-between flowers, she smiled to the sunflowers and their beauty. The spring had brought them back to life and she knew that much more would be returning as well. The wolf made her way towards the very middle of the space. She lifted her head unto the sky and released a howl for all to hear. It would not be long until the pack heard her call. She moved her tail to rise above her back, sliding to lay in the neutral position. There was no need for dominance right now. She wanted to know who was ready to step up and fill in some bigger responsibilities. The Alphess waited for her pack to show, and when they all had, she spoke loud enough for all to hear. ”Wolves of Helidos, I have called you all here for a very important announcement. With the coming of spring, we shall see two litters. One which is already born, and the second belonging to Elite Nnyla and Warrior Drogo. It has come to my attention that we are in need of some higher ranks to fill in some gaps. Today we shall be looking for those individuals who wish to become a Guardian, the Delta Male, Lead Warriors, Lead Hunters, Lead Caretakers, and if any wish to change their rank to become Healers. It seems all of our Healers have either run off or have been killed. Any individuals may ask to be placed in new ranks, but we will put into consideration time of service and your skill set. If you have been a Caretaker your whole life, I cannot promise you will make Delta or Guardian. I need strong individuals who will lay down their lives for my own and my families’ lives. It is a daunting task and it will not be easy. If you do wish to promote, please speak up now!” She waited for the wolves, wondering if any would make a change in their lives for the pack. Curiosity was a funny thing. |

| Faith heard the howl and immediately woke from her slumber. Looking around, confused, she rolled from her side to her stomach and got to her paws as quickly and smoothly as possible. Since she had pack experience, she knew that either someone wished to hold a meeting, or someone was in serious trouble, and she couldn't have that. Setting off at a steady run, she began to head in the general direction of the call. Upon entering Amor Glade, she became the slightest bit happy. She and Rose had met here only a few days before, but she managed to keep her face composed, and once she saw other wolves entering the meadow as well, she relaxed. No danger.
Upon seeing a tiny little wolf in the center of the fields of flowers, Faith tilted her head in confusion. The white warrior neared and took a seat, with a respectful amount of space between herself and the one giving the speech, and listened. This must be the Alphess. Quinn was it? I will have to check with Rose if I find her, Faith thought. High ranks? Rose was talking about that... Should I say something...? Without thinking, she stood up. "My name is Faith, for those that don't know, and I have recently just joined the ranks as a warrior. Yes, I'm new, but I would be prepared to take on any responsibilities if you need a Guardian or Lead Warrior. I would be happy to take on either position, should you wish that I do." She then dipped her head to the tiny female before her and took a step backwards, lowering her eyes to the ground respectfully.
She couldn't deny the excited feeling that bubbled inside her chest as she spoke out. Getting a high rank would be incredible, this was the chance she had been waiting for, but she knew deep within her that the odds of her actually getting a rank higher than her own were very slim, perhaps more than a thin leaf on a daisy. But a little part of her held her hopes higher than that doubt... And she felt the dark rise up to challenge it.
((OOC: Omg, I can't believe I just did that. Faith is being perhaps too bold today... Lol)) |

| Pacing from anxiety, the onyx maiden marched and mumbled amongst herself nonsense, yet to her it made perfect sense, perhaps the surrounding whom would hear would as well if her words were a bit clearer to comprehend would they then know what was on her gentle mind. The dirt around her quick-moving paws began to spring up and form tiny dust clouds that seemed to brush her fur to a lighter shade than it's typical black pigment. She didn't seem to notice, her mind was still cluttered, and it was in dire need of a spring cleaning. Lifting her gaze, she stopped suddenly in her tracts and rotated her ears in search of another sounds being nearby, perhaps eavesdropping on her self-moment of deep in thought conversation. Nothing but silence. She continued to do as she did, making her paced actions wider and longer so that she get on top of things, oh how spring made her nervous. It was the season of birth, and she knew very well of the litters. There would be so many puppies and she was thrilled with the image of children running through the territories alast within the fullness of life and her presence. Children always seemed to make life more brighter, the grass a bit greener, and the sun a bit warmer.
Shaking her head vigorously, she disagreed with something on her mind and tossed it into the mental waste bin of useless information somewhere else in her mind. Just as she had begun to think of her own relationship, Juno was abruptly halted at the sound of her Queen's call. The sound was so foreign to her, it had been so long since she had heard such a thing, actually. Neverminding that, the Beta female looked to herself and groaned to the mess she had made. Whilst following the direction to the source, the fae stopped at the end of a lovely creek and washed up before presenting herself before Quinn, their alpha female. Though she still found no favor in the fae's existence, nor her partner, she would get passed her indifferent opinion and put on a happy face for those to see around her. The amor tingled her sides as the flowers brushed against her fur, climbing to the top of the single hill to what the Alphess had chosen for the meeting. She sat at her right, being that she was her right hand, and accepted to the idea of her partner sitting at the King's other side in a way of representing rank at a respectful level. Not a peep left her lips as she acknowledged the other female upon the glade, silently admiring the flowers around her as the Queen began to speak. But of course, the beta female would wait and listen, and watch as those who would step up to face the wrath of a possible promotion. She would be happy to see courageous and strong numbers work closer to her. |

| Rose heard the Alphess' call and instantly she started running with amazing speed. Her amber eyes melted like honey when she saw where the Alphess stood, her sister nearby. Her paws pushed her forward until she was standing closely by her dear sister. Her head held in a low way as she gave her respect to the one she would follow to the end of her life. Her tail swished back and forth as she breathed in and out ever so slowly, regaining her breath from the long run she had just endured. She slowly looked up with a curious glint within her deep amber eyes. She only stood a little bit taller then Quinn, and shorter then her older sister. She listened to the words that the Alpohess spoke, paying attention to every word. She felt as if she was good with her rank, she had just recently been given it. She would always put her own life at risk for anyone in the pack, especially the one whom ruled their lands. "My dearest Alphess, I only came to answer the call of our leader. I am already willing to lay my life down for any member in this pack, I am honored to be your Deltess and hope my duties do not fail you, nor disappoint you. I do not wish a higher rank bestowed upon me unless you see fit. I do believe your judgement is always correct, and so anything you do, whether it be demote me or exile me, I will always believe you are correct." She had let the other white fae, her sister, speak first unto the leader. Her words filled the silent air after Faith. She then sat upon her haunches and lowered her head in respect, letting her ears fall back in submission against her head. She let thoughts consume her mind, but not her attention. She was fully paying attention, searching the area by scent and listening to hear if any danger lurked nearby. She slowly glanced at her sister, a warm and joyous smile crept across her face as she looked upon her. "Greetings my dear sister." She mumbled under her breath, a greeting of joy and happiness that consumed her. Her thoughts swirled to back when she had lived in what seemed another world with Quinn. A land of three packs, a land she had called her forever home. But now she felt silly, standing before her leader and wishing to call this place her home for the rest of her life, no matter how long or short it was.
She breathed slowly, knowing she had many questions for the Alphess. But she did not dare ask a single one, she wanted to listen and hear what the others would have to say. She wanted to know who was power-hungry and who would actually help protect their pack. She felt it as if it were her duty alone to protect the pack, but she knew within her heart that every wolf had an important role and everyone had to work together in order survive. "Alphess Quinn, I know a bit about herbs if you really need... I can be of some help to the healers we have left. But my knowledge is limited." She knew it wasn't any good that her knowledge on herbs was limited, but she wanted so bad to be of more help to her Alphess and Alpha. Her eyes danced with the thought of being allowed to fully help when needed, of course she could only really treat small injuries, but it would still be helpful when needed. Her heart beat quickly within, excitement to see who would get new ranks and whom would be trusted with higher responsibilities. She heard paws approach and then finally realized that the Beta had been there all along. Quietly she turned and gave a warm smile and nod, greeting the one that had accepted her into the place she now called home. |

| White paws sprinted through the territory of Helidos with ease, their noise being quieted slightly by the lush, plentiful foliage spring had brought with it. With winter in the past now, the home land had grown beautifully with new life. Surely spring was Locke's favorite season. The trickle of water in the distance drew the brute to a steady pace, his tongue hanging from his mouth, and he continued on following his ears towards the cool liquid. Life was steady here, and there were happy wolves around him. With their happiness, his own soared inside of his heart. As he came to the small stream, the wolf bowed his head downward and let the chilly water swim onto his tongue. Tiny fish panicked at his arrival and began to swim quickly away from the giant that hovered over their home. It was then that a faint, but proud, howl rose about the daily noises of the forest. Pricking his ears upward in curiosity, Locke lifted his head from his drink, water still dripping from his jaws, and allowed the call to echo in his mind. 'My presence is needed elsewhere, it seems.' Arising from his position and making a quick hop over the tiny stream, Locke dashed through the familiar grounds towards where the howl had originated.
More flowers began to appear within sight the further he ran, and soon the warrior found his travels had led him to Amor Glade. Sunflowers surrounded the land, opening their large yellow petals upwards towards the sun in almost worship. Their yellow glow seemed to match the firm yellow globes of his eyes. Others were beginning to arrive as well, and Locke could see in the front that Alphess Quinn herself had called upon her pack. 'It is a wonder what news she will tell us,' the brute thought to himself, nodding in greeting towards some of the other wolves as he filed in with his pack members. When the alphess began to speak up, however, his attention focused solely on her. The warrior's heart quickened as she spoke, and a lump began to grow within his throat. 'She is allowing us to voice out and ask for ranks considered higher?' Locke licked his lips nervously as he looked around him. 'Do I have a chance against all of these other talented and known wolves?' Suddenly, a feminine voice arose from the crowd, declaring herself as Faith and asking for a guardian or lead warrior role. His yellow globes sat focused on the ground in awe as she spoke, and his own confidence arose in his chest boosted from her demonstration. He felt it tighten around the doubt and fear that pressed his heart, and after her turn, the warrior stood respectively up and bowed his head to Alphess Quinn. 'It is time to take hold of my own fate.'
"My name is Warrior Locke," speaking loudly enough for her to hear him, Locke could feel the nervous tingle spark up and down his spine. Swallowing his fear, the brute continued. "I understand that my name does not carry weight within Helidos, but my loyalty is unwavering to my alphess and alpha and the wolves that reside in this place I call my home. My heart is true, and I have faith that my decision to devote myself to Helidos has made a substantial impact on my life for the better." He paused, gathering his words and feeling more relaxed. "I am already prepared to protect the lives of my fellow pack mates and my leader. Even without rank I will do all in my power to guard the lives of others. If I were to ask, though, for my rank to rise as guardian I will carry out orders obediently and be prepared to lay down my life for the survival of my leaders and their family. If death were to come to me successfully protecting my alphess and her family, then I would die a happy wolf with that knowledge." Bowing his head one more time to Quinn, the white brute sat down. Nervousness still clutched his heart, but firm confidence and exhilaration rose to claim it. He was prepared for Quinn's verdict on his worthiness. |

| The caretaker had not been up long, perhaps an hour or so, before the beckoning howl of her Alphess grabbed her attention. With the arrival of spring it was no question that there was going to be a little chaos in the mixture. The arrival of pups has come and the kind female could not wait to meet the new fur balls. After a harsh year and a half, this was what she needed to bring her hopes and cheery self out more. Pups were a great distraction, plus they kept you in your toes. She let out a small giggle at the thought, excitement now running through her vines. Turning around, she broke out into a steady lope and set out to see what was to come.
Arriving at Amor Glade she found her small framed Alphess awaiting her subjects' arrival. Quinn was every bit a queen might be. She was kind, graceful, and just. She cared for every member of the pack like a mother to child and the earth coated maiden found that admirable. Taking a seat she listened to what the higher ranked had to say. A rise in ranks? Sure there where many open spots for wolves wishing to take them, but she had not guessed that there was this many. Noting that there were no Lead Caretakers, in both the male and female spots, the vixen wondered if she herself should take it. She had been doing this whole ordeal for as long as she was able, and had no plans to leave her wonderful new home. Sure she missed life in her past, but this was her future and there was no way she would have gotten this opportunity there. So as the tiny Alphess finished her speech, Elsbeth made the decision that she would apply.
Elsbeth sat waiting while others spoke to her before standing up to address the fae. "Alphess Quinn, " she paused for a moment while she dipped her head respectfully towards her. "I do not think we have met formally yet, my name's Elsbeth. I am a caretaker and I would like to congratulate you on your pups this spring. Oh, I bet they are adorable!" She allowed herself to gush for a moment, a small shy smile coming across her face. "On another note, I would like to take upon the offer of Lead Caretaker. In my previous home I was a Caretaker for a yearand a half before I had pups of my own. I know how to tend to and care for them and would be honored to have the position. Though, I am not going to lie to you, this is an opportunity that I would never had been graced with at home. Nor would I want it there. My children, you see, we had a wild fire that struck our camp. And if you can imagine, it was utter destruction. We had more pups than we could handle in a panic and my two sons ran off in fright only to be killed by the flames. If that degrades you from considering my application, then so be it. I would not wish for it to happen again to me or anyone else for that matter. However, my loyalties now know where they truly lie, and that is to you and this pack. I do not believe that I could belong anywhere else but here now that I have found Helidos. Taking care of the young is something that I find great joy in, even though it might be a hassle. I am prepared to take upon the leadership needed to guide my fellow caretakers and help them through the seasons to come. And even if I am not given the title of Lead Caretaker, I will still give everything that I have into taking care of the young wolves of this pack." With a small curt nod she sat herself back down. Facing forward her ears perked to listen for anyone else that may wish to speak. Slowly she scanned her gaze over the crowd before focusing back onto her leader to await what else she might have to say. |

| The nights sleep had been a rough one, returning to her old den it had grown up and rocks had taken her place of rest. Making the dirt hard and bumpy. Sighing, Shadow lifted herself from the dirt and made her way out of the den. Looking about, her blue eyes took in everything. Granted she was a primary hunter, even wolves had enemies. Taking note that everything was clear, she jumped down from the small one foot ledge of her den. Padding along in the night, using her sense of smell mostly, and her eye sight secondly. It had been a long time since Shadow had walked about at night, other than her long trip that took her far away from her home. Tracking, that's what she was doing. Tracking food that passed by her pack during winter. Food was scarce then, making for a hungry pack with no energy. Her caring heart couldn't take the sight of that this year. But for now she could rest just a bit. Spring was in full swing and prey was plenty. Making it easy for her and other hunters to catch and bring home the kill. Shadow didn't really know where she was going, her paws just took her where they wished. Wandering around at night wasn't her normal, but tonight just didn't plan for her to sleep. So she pressed onward, in hope of maybe finding another whom would join her in her walk.
Dawn had struck the skies. Colors of gold, light pink, and soft white had taken the places of dark purple and black. She watched the colors turn into the beautiful blue skies she adored. Looks like we shall be getting some nice weather today." ,having caught her an early breakfast, Shadow sat down to eat. The rabbits tender meat was refreshing and energizing. It didn't take her long to devour it and then to move along. She decided to head to Amor Glade. Where the flowers would be in full bloom by now, sunflowers and daisies, among others. Even though she wasn't much of a healer, Shadow found this place to be calming, relaxing even. As soon as the fae entered the glade she heard her new Alphesses howl, calling to her packs attention. Picking up the pace she seen that other wolves she knew and didn't know had already arrived. Over hearing one of them speak about a promotion, a spark lit up within her soul. The thought of having her title back was exciting, but she had to speak with the Alphess.
Sitting in the back until everyone else had asked their question or put in their requests for new ranks, Shadow just watched. She moved when she had a clear window to do so. Her steps light and almost soundless, stopping a few feet before the leader she bowed her head respectfully and then spoke up. "Goodmorning Alphess, we haven't officially met. I am Shadow, a hunter. I come to you today to speak of a rank I once had. I have been with this pack for a long time, although, last year I set off in the middle of the night to search for food for the pack. I was gone quite some time. I was gone for so long because I was trying to get the herds traveling patterns down, so that during the winter I could tell the rest of the hunters where the herds will be at what point in the cold season. I have recently returned to the home lands of the pack. Having said all this I wanted to speak with you about being Lead Hunter again. I was once the Lead Hunter here, along side Eclipse, who is now your Elite. Should you decline I will understand and do what I must to prove to you that I will be a great Leading Hunter again. This packs wellness means much to me, having them with full stomachs and energy to keep them warm is what I want for the whole pack. From new pups to the elders.",with that Shadow gave a light and pleasant grin,"have a good rest of the day Alphess, I shall be waiting for your decision." Shadow bowed once more and retreated to a small distance away from the Alphess, her ears alert, but her body relaxed. Laying down the fae watched the others of the pack mingle and talk to the Alphess of new ranks. Waiting silently to be called upon.

| A small mass of light brown fur slunk into the clearing, its azure orbs squinting at the wolves already inhabiting it. Julian didn't like many, if any, wolves here. Not even his parents or brothers. His sister however was his weak spot, She meant everything to him. Though his love for his sister didn't sway his wish to join Erenxy once he was old enough to leave. His brother Achak was probably the one he disliked the most. That groveling whelp didn't deserve to be a hunter, he deserved no higher than omega in Julians' eyes. Growling to himself he sat as far from the crowd as he could eyeing any wolf that approached him. He didn't want to be here, He didn't want anything to do with anyone here. He just wanted the rest of this year to go smoothly so that when spring arrived he could shock and piss off everyone in this goody goody pack by joining Erenxy. Many would think the son of the leader of Helidos to be proud to be in that pack but Julian was quite the opposite, he was ashamed to call himself a member of Helidos, very, very ashamed.

| Crystal was asleep in the entrance to her den, when the Alphess's howl woke her. Rising to her feet, she padded out into the warm sunshine and stretched. Crystal then headed off towards Amor Glade. Arriving at the Glade, Crystal could see a number of wolves already. "Greetings my Alphess." Crystal said bowing to Alphess Quinn and Beta Juno who was sat next to her. Slinking around the edge of the group, she nodded at two unknown wolves and Delta Rose and Hunter Shadow, whom she also smiled at as she passed.
Crystal spotted a space next to Elsabeth, a fellow caretaker whom she had seen around the caretaker's den and curled up in it. Looking up from her lying down position and turning to Elsabeth, Crystal said "Greetings fellow caretaker." before turning her gaze back to the Alphess. The caretaker wondered what this meeting was about. It had been a busy time recently for her and the other caretakers with the birth of the Alpha pair's pups. Crystal's ears flicked when she heard the Alphess begin to speak and she sat up to listen.
When the Alphess had finished speaking, Crystal waited as others spoke first. When her turn came, she stood and stepped forwards before speaking. Bowing to Alphess Quinn, Crystal spoke softly but loud enough to be heard clearly. " Congratulations Alphess on the birth of your pups, I hope they will bring you much happiness. I'm Crystal, one of the caretakers here. I have been a caretaker my whole life, right from when I was small. In my birth pack I was in the first litter born into the pack in some years. I have excellent hunting skills which were taught to me, when I was old enough by my mother, who was a notably good hunter. She also taught everything I know about pack life. However the thing I enjoyed most doing is looking after pups, seeing them grow and develop and helping to teach about life a pack. My gentle and caring nature shone through from an early age and once again my mother, noticing this decided that when the next litter of pups were born, that I would have a major role in helping to raise them.
When the second litter was born, I was a year old. My mother would enlist me to stand guard and watch over them, when they were old enough to begin playing at the den entrance. She would also leave them in my care for long periods of time whilst she went off to hunt. As they grew older, she also asked me to begin teaching them about other aspects of pack life just like she taught me when I was younger. By the time the third litter was born a short time before the pack was wiped out, my mother had fully entrusted the previous litter's care and training to me. I was two years old when the third litter was born and once again my mother relied on me to help her. I also have experience looking after pups here in Helidos. During my time here under Azul, three litters were born. I helped to look after the first two and I personally delivered the third litter as it was my dear friend Aurora who wished me to be her personal caretaker. However she is no longer here and I reiterate the promise I made when I entered this pack, I will serve Helidos and it's leader faithfully and unquestioningly plus I am willing to to whatever duties you see fit for me to do." When she had finished speaking with the Alphess, the gentle female bowed again and stepped back into her space next to the other Caretaker. |

| Sauntering to the Glade with a full belly and relaxed mind, Sitka came just as he heard what this meeting was for. Updating ranks and necessary positions as the new littler come into the pack. he could see many of his fellow pack mates arriving in the Glade to attempt to receive a higher rank to prove themselves to Alphess Quinn. He heard the rank of Delta Male be called out upon the crown of Helidos wolves, and he became overwhelmed with confidence that he could be one to receive the rank. Quinn was almost allowing them all to speak out and explain why they should receive the higher rankings. The russet hues of his fur stood out among the pack wolves as he stepped forward the make himself know. "I'm glad to hear the birth of your litter came well, dear Quinn. I'm sure both Fenris and yourself are very proud of the young wolves they'll come to be." He smiled at his Alphess, meaning every word that fell from his jaws. "I am only known as Hunter Sitka, where as other places you may have known me to be a warrior. You may not have known, but before I came to Helidos, I belonged to the pack of Cedar Grove that lived alongside the packs of Maple Woods and Pine Summit, one of which you and Fenris also served as the alphas proudly. And as I was under the rule of Azrael, I came to see that he was not a leader I wanted to serve. Then I came here, I had heard of Fenris and yourself from other wolves within those lands. And I have to say, it's been an honor to serve you and protect this pack that I now call my home. He sat himself down and shifted his haunches slightly, and swept his tail to his side. "Although I know that I haven't been here longer than some of my fellow pack mates, it would be an honor to serve the great pack of Helidos with the higher Delta ranking. I know it is much to ask for, and there ae many others who could take this position and do a better job then myself, but I assure you, if this ranking is placed on me, I will serve this pack at the cost of my life even more so than I do now." His icy blue gaze met with the falling gaze of his Alphess who addressed each and every one of her members that spoke outwards.
A moment passed by and he noticed Caretaker Elsbeth whom he'd met the season prior to spring. He saw that she had been speaking with other members and didn't want to interrupt, so he stayed in his place, and looked back up to Alphess Quinn to make his last statement on his rank asking. "Now, dear Quinn, I only wish for you to consider myself as a possible candidate for the Delta rank. I appreciate your consideration." He pulled his frame to the ground and as he finished his statement for the ranking he wished for. He watched as the other wolves walked around and mingled with one another, but he didn't bother to engage in conversation unless another came up to him to speak. As he laid in his place, awaiting another announcement from the Alphess, Sitka caught himself looking at the other wolves. Examining them closely. Most whom he had not met before. He admired them all as they all showed up to show miss Quinn their willingness to take up a higher rank. He was proud to call them his pack mates, even if he hadn't met them all, yet. |

| Nnlya had been sleeping peacefully in the den she shared with Drogo when the call came. She'd been sleeping far more often lately, her belly growing round and hanging lower to the ground. She often slept on her side as it was more comfortable and less restricting. She also feared sleeping on her stomach would harm the little ones she carried. Drogo had been most helpful, bringing her kills to sustain her when the pregnancy left her too easily wearied. She nosed her mate on this morning, begging him to wake. "My love you are tired and have worked so diligently to keep me in health these past weeks. But our Alphas calls upon us." She licked his cheek before hauling herself up. It would take her twice as long to leave then den than it usually would. She wandered slowly to the entrance, gingerly pulling herself from its tangled clutches - for their den was hidden in the roots of an old tree. Out in the spring air she was invigorated. So restricted in her movement, she had restrained herself to a light walk each day. It pained her not to train and run the borders as she usually would. She'd become sedentary and reliant on others to provide for her. She did't want to be that way, she hated being that way, but she was forced into it. The only thing that kept her going was the new life she hoped would come in the spring. The new life, the promise of change and redemption was all that she focused on.
The Elite stood surely in the morning sunlight, but no gathering was to be seen. She stood confused for the moment before thinking upon the call. It had originated from farther off, in the direction of the Amor Glade. It was there she was headed first. Initially she began in a quick trot, not wanting to make her Alphess wait, but as the distance grew longer, her breaths grew shorter and her pace slowed. Her body tired from the journey so far from her home, though the fresh air was invigorating. Upon the edges of the glade she found them, gathering one by one before the Alphess. Not wishing to cause a disturbance, Nnlya waddled around behind the pack, sitting off to the side on her lonesome, smiling at Quinn to acknowledge her presence. 'My apologies, my queen,' she thought, 'I cannot pay my respects as I usually would.' She dipped her head slowly, in respect, before gazing about at her fellow pack members. The Alphess spoke of ranks to be filled and called upon any who deemed herself worthy. So far that had been everyone present. There were a number of choices laid out before the good Quinn. She saw Crystal among them. 'My dear, you have been a caretaker here possibly longer than I have lived in this place. You would serve us well as a Leader.' She even saw one of the young Princes, though his name she did not know. She hoped her pups would be friends with those of the Alpha. |

| Morning was his favorite time of day. If perhaps he slept in too long, the young whelp found himself grumpy with the afternoon time. Arising early today, Achak stretched his legs happily and watched the commotion within the pack clearing. Wolves came and went with the time, and everyone had different jobs to do. It was truly awe inspiring to watch - a pack able to follow orders and perform their tasks without having being told to. There was no pressure here - just devotion and loyalty. Sitting down contentedly, the young brute let his amber gaze watch the movements and paths his mother's pack made. He could not wait for his own training to begin; Achak wanted to do something and begin to learn his chosen trade. Hunting. The whelp wanted to feel the freedom of the hunt as his paws carried him through his home, collecting meals for the stomachs of the wolves he wished would grow to become his extended family and learning the different traits and instincts of the creatures considered wolf's prey. Of course, he did not wish for the members of Helidos to thank him just for his bloodline, but for the honest work and friendliness he bestowed on them. Yawning, time seemed to stand still even when it passed by just as regularly as normal. He did not know when it happened, but it was suddenly that a howl rang above the trees. Pricking his ears upward to listen, Achak raised his head and looked around. 'That was mother's howl.' Any wolves still in the pack clearing seemed to hear it as well, and they all began to file in the same direction in different speeds towards the call. 'Is.. mother calling a meeting?' Confused and curious at the same time, Achak tilted his head. Was he supposed to go as well? With all the wolves heading in the same direction, the whelp figured his path would be safe from danger and there would be plenty of others around to help if danger arose. Arising to his paws, the alphess' pup made his way with the others and began to follow his ears towards the call.
Eyes widening in awe, the dazzling sunflowers in the sunlight made Achak happy. He enjoyed nature thoroughly, and finding this treasure glade made his spirits soar. 'It's so pretty.. What are these tall flowers? They're like the color of the sun. When I am older, I want to explore this place for myself to enjoy.' Heart beating fast, it was then that the whelp saw the abundance of the other wolves. While the clearing normally had a good amount of wolves residing in it, never had the apprentice seen so many wolves at once. Feeling timid and quiet, Achak found his way to the edge of the audience a decent distance away from everyone else. His view contained both his mother and some of the caretakers he had become acquainted with. While he was a friendly wolf, Achak preferred to stay out of the view of others. His brother Julian was here was well, and the pup made sure to keep his distance from him. Julian seemed annoyed to be here, as usual. Ears alert for any sounds, Quinn soon began to speak to the group. Mouth opening a little bit in happiness, the whelp got excited. 'She's going to award wolves higher ranks! I get to see mother talk to the others and learn names.' Furthermore, he would get to see the hunters of the pack, and even more so, he would get to see who was lucky enough to claim a rank of lead hunter.
Everyone was speaking so respectively and seemingly confidently, Achak listened intently to the speeches. Ranks were being requested from lead warrior and hunter, guardian, and delta. A white brute and dame spoke of becoming a loyal guardian, or for the fae's part a lead warrior would work as well, which, if remembering right, Achak remembered as Locke and Faith. Following them two caretakers declared their desire for a lead role, each sounding as dependable and kind for the role. They were respectively Elsbeth and Crystal, names Achak made note of in his mind. Two hunters also spoke up, exciting the whelp even more. Hunter Shadow applied herself for a lead hunter role, while a hunter named Sitka asked for a delta role for himself. This was exciting, and there still might be more who applied themselves for further ranks. It boosted his own determination to listen to the ambition of the others. Achak couldn't wait for the day he would be named as a hunter. Who would mother pick to promote today? |

| Spring had finally come, and with its much appreciated warmth, and the lengthening of days, but most importantly, it had brought his and Quinn's second litter. Three sons and one daughter. As an alpha, there was no better results than that. This litter was certainly more spritely than their last, of this there was no doubt, but he loved them all the same. They were well behaved for the most part, pups will be pups of course and give their parents a hard time, but one of his sons in particular was proving to be quite the challenge. Fenris had faith in himself and Quinn that they would be able to get past whatever this was with him, but it would take time. He had left the den early on this particular morning to do his run along the boarder. One might say he had spent more time now than ever patrolling and ensuring all was well within his pack. Of course this was to ensure the pups protection, but also in search of any sign that Teren and his band of misfits were near. Fenris still lost sleep some nights over the black demon, though he did not express his concerns to his mate for she had enough on her plate to deal with. He would keep the matters of his mind to himself until there was reason to do so otherwise. As his massive paws hit the soft earth in a rhythmical pace, a howl cracked through the air. It was unmistakably Quinn's, calling the pack together. He knew very well the subject of said meeting already, and figured it would take some time for the entirety of the pack to assemble, so set out to finish the last bit of his patrol.
Upon reaching his starting point, the Alpha turned tail and picked up a steady run towards the call. It was not coming from the camp clearing, but instead from what seemed to be Amor Glade. It did not take him long to get there as he had been close to begin with. He had reached the glade in no time, though much to his surprise, a large portion of the pack had already gathered. His head held high as was expected of an Alpha, though his tail hung docile and calmly. These wolves knew who their alphas were, the did not need extravagant displays of authority all the time. He made his way over to his mates side, and reclined onto his haunches, giving her a gentle nuzzle and then looking out at the wolves before him though he remained silent. He did not care to interrupt those who were coming forward to state their wishes to further themselves in rank. |

| Another year had come and gone. Azul could feel the old in his bones. He was growing older by the day, and he knew his life on these lands would not be much more than two to three years tops. His health was in good condition, though his mind was a little confused with what exactly he was to feel. His mind told him that he was not well, there there were too many issues with the things he had seen, what he was a part of. The old Alpha rested his rickety old bones on the fresh new grass which grew on the outer lining of his den. His golden eyes stared off into the distance. He looked at nothing in particular, just thinking to himself. He had missed so many things within his life. He had loved his family, like every honest male should. He loved his pack, and that was why it was the hardest thing for him to do when he lost it, when he stepped down and allowed the new face to take over his pack. But he knew Quinn from long ago. So she was not entirely new to him. The tiny Alphess had left a print on his heart for all time with her gracious and loving heart, smart mind, and positive disposition. The white wolf had done so much for his pack, for the ones he loved, that he had never really done anything for himself. Maybe it was time for him to do something just for him. But what could that possibly be? As he was deep in thought, his mind was halted by a singular howl. As he looked around him, he could see wolves moving towards the Amor Glade. Hmmm... he thought to himself. Pushing up onto his four paws, he shook off his body. It appeared the Alphess was calling unto her pack. Of course he would go. He wanted to see everything Quinn was changing for their lives. He made his way to the area and moved to sit at the back of the crowd. He would kept his mouth silenced and just watch. There was nothing more he could give or would want t give to the pack. |

| Exhausted. That was the only word that came to mind to describe Drogo at the moment. He has been on constant duty to ensure that his beloved mate Nnlya had everything she could possibly need. Their pups would be arriving most any day now, and Drogo was determined to be ready for them. He had been so delighted when it was confirmed that Nnlya was indeed carrying his young. The excitement mixed with newfound fears had been, and still was overwhelming. He had gone from being a wolf with no bonds, no friendships, no love, knowing nothing more than servitude and loyalty to a king, but look at him now. He had never thought, never dreamed that a life such a this could be his. He had a home where he was free to do most anything he pleased, he served a good and noble pair whose intentions were nothing more than to see their pack live a happy and safe life. He had a wonderful mate, who made him smile with the rising sun of ever morning, and now, perhaps most excitingly of all, his own offspring were soon to join the world and take their place among the great wolves of Helidos. Dreams of what great warriors or hunters or even healers or caretakers they would become helped him sleep at night when he wasn't fussing over whether or not Nnlya was well. This morning however would be different from the last many. He was awoken by Nnlya's soft touch accompanied by the sound of their Alphess calling them to order. He was curious to see just what the Alpha's had in store for them now and so swiftly rose to his feet and nuzzled Nnlya gently before she made her way from their den. He was quick to follow and upon stepping out into the spring air smiled, inhaling deeply.
He followed alongside his mate to Amor Glade where the rest of the pack was gathering. Normally Drogo would have taken time to investigate the surroundings, to see what faces he knew and which faces were still new to him, but today, as would every day until the pups were born, Nnlya was his only focus. He walked slowly with her, there in case she needed anything. He glanced quickly up to his superiors and bowed his head in respect, taking a seat next to his mate and listened to what Quinn had to say. And sense of pride washed over his when she announced that him and Nnlya were awaiting the arrival of their pups. He would be a proud father, of this he was certain, but what she had to say next was what truly caught his attention. She wished for any and all wolves looking to move up in rank to step forward. Drogo hesitated for a brief moment. He had been Delta alongside Nnlya some time ago, but after the accident, after he had been forced away from his home for so long to recover, he had lost that rank and she had been promoted even higher. He wished to serve his pack as best he could, and knew he was capable of holding a rank higher than warrior, after all,he had held the rank of what would have been equivalent to a Guardian here, in his old pack. If it was protection that the Alpha's sought with new pups arriving and their own having just entered the world, he knew he was right for something more. A few others stepped forward before him, and he allowed them to speak before stepping forward himself. He bowed to Quinn and Fenris, letting his deep copper eyes fall to the ground for a moment before settling on them. His eyes shine with determination as they always had and he held himself proud and tall. "Alphess Quinn, Alpha Fenris. It has been an honour to serve you both and I look forward to many years of life in this pack to come. I am not sure to what extent either of you know of my time here before you, but I wish to express my wishes to farther myself within the ranks to better serve you, my family, and the pack. I was a delta under Azul, promoted alongside Elite Nnlya when she held the title. Though I only served a short time, I believe I did so quite well. An unfortunate accident kept me from returning to Helidos for some time, as I tended to my wounds in hopes of returning home, and in such a time I was given back the rank of warrior. I hold no vendetta for such a decision as I was not present and not able to fulfil my duties. However, I am here now, and will be until the end of my days. In my natal pack, I held a rank called Head of the Kings Guard, the equivalent to that of what you call guardian. I am well versed in combat, and feel as though I have much to offer. Should you see fit to promote me, I would graciously accept any rank bestowed upon me. Thank you for your consideration." he said in a confident, though respectful tone. |

| Tiny paws bounded over the terrain of her pack, the pup was quiet an early riser as she loved to explore at this time. But something else had awoken her, the comfort of her father and mother. The tiny fae was confused as why they would leave her and her brothers but it sure wouldn't take long, but instead of staying put the tiny four legged canine began to travel her ears flickered catching the familiar sound of her mother’s howl. Paige tried her best to follow it but ended up using her nose instead to follow her trail, catching the scent of a few others sent a shiver down the small canine’s spine. Once coming to her destination she looked at everyone, tiny ears folding back on her head and tail tucking between her legs. Paige did her best to slink close to her mother without bumping into anyone listening to what they all had to say in the process of doing so, finally arriving beside her the pup made her way under Quinn's legs poking her head out to exam the other wolves. There were some tall, small, fat, and skinny after she was done examining there features she continued listening looking up at her mother once before returning her gaze to the others. What was going on? Mother was awarding others with higher ranks? Her train of thought was immediately cut short as she heard the one word that she had been longing to be, a hunter. It was confusing, scary, but yet exciting for Paige she was interested in which one of these strangers would bestow the rank of lead hunter or at least had the rank of a hunter. Tiny ears flickered as a few of the wolves in the crowd spoke up 'Warriors, A Deltess, a caretaker. Hmmmmm where could all the hunters possibly be?' this thought kept running through her mind as she waited for at least one would, just one to state their rank as a hunter. A tiny excited gasp left her muzzle as a jet black wolf stated there name to be Shadow and a Hunter and then another wolf stating their name as Sitka along with their rank a hunter. It was nice for the young one to know there were actually some hunters within her pack but what had happened to the others. Had they not arrived yet?
It was all a blur to the tiny canine once the two named Shadow and Sitka had spoken, she was shaken for her thoughts as she had realized that she was staring. A Deltess by the name of Rose, it was quiet a beautiful name, a caretaker by the name of Crystal and another by the name of Elsbeth. They were all very interesting and lovely names to Paige, A warrior by the name of Locke and another warrior who was yet to state his name. The pup never realized how large her pack was until now; Paige spotted her brother Julian and Achak out in the crowd but instead of moving towards them she stayed in her place between her mother’s legs. It was no wonder why Julian wanted to set away from the crows, she knew he didn't like it here and would always know that but never spoke about it. As for Achak she didn't know why he wanted to sit far away, perhaps it was to avoid getting in everyone's way or some other reason that she had yet to know about. Paige scanned the crowd looking for Chase, she had always looked up to her brothers but Chase was the one she had trusted the most, she could tell him her secrets and talk to him about anything. The small pup didn't exactly feel well comfortable telling her other siblings those kind of things but on an occasion when Chase wasn't around she would tell Julian or Achak. Small ears flickered once again, Paige was still shy but curious to what everyone's names and ranks were she was still warming up to everything and everyone around her. |

| The female perked her receptors towards a call that came from another location and with haste she arose before travelling the midst direction with her legs shortly guiding her that way. Navigating through the Helidos territory, olive pools scanned the area and found a humble gathering of other wolves from the treeline she padded from. Emilia made her way into the gathering slowly and observed other wolves, keeping her distance as she wasn't sure exactly who they were and if they were even interested on the canine. However, taking a look nearby stood a casually ivory wolf that she remembered, Rose. Tassel swinging to and fro, the female approached her slowly, dipping her head in respect of her presence in time. "Hello again Rose" her voice softened as she perked her lobes at the various effects in the background. Taking a step to the side and sitting amongst her rump she watched and found a canine distanced from the others but with a moderate and dominant posture.
Listening to the murmurs from other voices, her interest clicked into focus. Many ranks were involved and yet a majority of those ranks were being considered to be chosen or at least traded in for a new, desirable title. Emilia couldn't think up a reason to change her title or at least willingly do that quite so soon -- since she has yet more to learn and hasn't done much in her days spent here. Activity on her part was slim and she hasn't even interacted with many and with wandering eyes she allowed her visage to pay attention to others and perhaps the dominant wolf in the area nearby, one where she assumed was the leader. Clenching away the nerves in her body, she was quite shy of all the canines in one area, it wasn't much but she didn't know how to react if someone did approach her so soon, she needed to adjust. |

| Quickly young paws would slam into the ground over and over again, pushing the small fae's form forward through the stubble of underbrush that had begun to form around the pack clearing. Aleu hated being up early, she hated the way the birds chirped giving away her constant position, the way the fog crept over the forest, and the way adults demanded she be up during it. No, Aleu was definitely a night wolf. But Aleu did love her training, and her trainer, who for some ungodly reason demanded she be up at such an unreasonable time, a problem the pup was all to eager to voice each and every morning when she arrived at training after faithfully completing her run around the pack clearing. Quickly the pup had bored of running multiple laps around just the clearing, so with a little calculating and some mapping the pup had managed a track that was just slightly bigger than the length she was ordered to run, and while she hadn't yet worked the trail into the forestry, she knew it well enough by sight and sent to travel it each morning until an actual path would form. Aleu narrowed her gaze and she pushed herself as hard as she could, just rounding the final turn the pup would leap over a fallen timber, the brush still pushed up where she had tripped attempting the stunt two days ago. With a graceful, albeit rehearsed, landing the pup would push forward harder, wanting to finish giving it her best. As the pup finshed her lap she would slow to a halt, panting roughly just as the long howl of her Alphess range through the trees. Dropping to her stomach the pup would groan "Noooooooo!" she whined out, realizing the howl had to have come from the other end of the packland.
Dragging herself back to her paws the pup would start a light jog towards the source of the sound, her nose guiding her to the exact location once she drew nearer to them. The small pup would be one of the last few to arrive, although with much relief she would notice she wasn't the last there. Lowering her head and ears the pup would move up next to her adopted sister, panting to catch her breath from the exhausting morning run and the nearly just as exhausting run to the pack meeting. Dipping her head to catch her breath she would grumble to Rose "Ran...here...dying." she panted for a moment before rising fully again. As the alphess completed her words the pup would giggle, jumping a little "Oh oh! I should be guardian! Or at least lead warrior! Or Apprentice Beta! Or Apprentice Alphess!" she pup would giggle, planning to continue listing fictional ranks she thought would be fun to have until someone stopped her. |

| It was not long before the wolves in her pack started to arrive. There were many faces she knew, and many she did not. This upset the Alphess to a degree. She wanted to know each and every one of her members. She wanted to know all their names, know their families, and be able to speak with them on anything. She was over joyed to hear how many wolves actually wished for a change in rank. It was marvelous. Never before had Quinn ever granted ranks in this way. It was a new thing and she really liked it. It gave the members a chance to speak for themselves and show that they were worthy to hold such ranks. The Alphess gave a smile to each wolf that requested a change for their life. Quinn would not make her decision until she heard all of them speak. At the moment her mate was by her side, he gave her a soft sign of affection, which she returned with a lick on the cheek. She loved Fenris, and her young, more than anything in this world. She wanted to make sure that whatever changes she made would be good for the pack. Harvest hues turned their gaze over the pack. She looked to each of them and stood to stand as tall as she could before the others. ”I would first like to thank you all for coming out here on such short notice. Watching over my pups has been quite the adventure. I hope this adventure never ends. But with the arrival of young,” she said as her eyes moved to her Elite female, ”and new young… that we need some more wolves to take the responsibilities off our paws. Those of you, who I do not know, I am sorry. I wish to know all of you, as I know those within my higher ranks. At one point, Helidos will be the best and brightest pack in these lands and I fear our rivals to the east are plotting something dastardly. We need to come together, learn from one another, but above all, fend for ourselves. I have been running Helidos for about a year now. Azul was gracious enough to leave your pack within my paws. So far I think Fenris and I have done a wonderful job taking over and trying to the best Alphas for you all. Of course, if there are any concerns or wishes, you may speak them out now. Nobody will tease you for your requests or make you feel as if you are dumb for asking. We like the criticism, we can take it. So, if you may. I would like the following wolves to step up and either accept or decline my changes. May I have: Faith, Rose, Locke and Drogo please step forward first?” As she waited for them to do as they were told, Quinn gave them each a nod. ”Although some of you may not know who I am, I know who you all are, whether it be from words spoken by my favorite Elder, or the words of our higher ranked individuals. But I must say, it is nice to finally be able to pair a face with the names. For far too long I have wondered what you all looked like. Well, the ones I did not know. But might I say I am impressed by your courage. It takes a lot of courage to speak your mind to an Alpha. I have been where you stand before, being judged by the Alphess before me too, though I must say, my sweet side is much sweeter than the beloved Dahlia. But enough of the past, I am sure you are all dying to know what I am going to say. Delta Rose, you have served us well in your time as Delta. We are very thankful for all the border acceptances you have completed and the efforts you make to help all those in need. I have seen you with the young fae who fled from Erenyx, and I am very proud of you for taking on such a daunting task. Raising young is hard, especially when they are not your own. If the rank of Guardian is what you want, then I shall not take it away from you. Will you accept the duties and responsibilities of being our Guardian female? This means little to no acceptance posts and more time on your paws to help train, but mostly protect the wolves in this pack. Your rank is equal to that of our Elites, Nnlya and Eclipse. Faith, I would ask that you accept the rank of Lead Warrior female to allow yourself the time to train and learn all you can from the wolves above you. Lead Warriors are very important to the pack when it comes to training. You can help the others on their way, and when the time is right, you may find yourself in a high rank someday.” Quinn smiled to them both and then looked to her two males. One of a blended coat and the other, sheer white like the snow. Two very different wolves stood before her, and yet they aspired the same goal. Which would get the rank they truly wanted? ”Warrior Drogo, I know the name well. I have heard the tales of your promotion under the reign of Azul, and I have heard how devoted and responsible you are from the lips of your own mate. She adores you, and I adore her. So her word weighs a strength over mine own heart. And Warrior Locke, let us not forget you. I have heard tales of your bravery and wisdom. Yes, I can see a very good future for you here and with some fine tuning, you can be shaped into the perfect Guardian, but for now, I think you need a little more time. I shall grant you the rank of Lead Warrior male. You and Faith shall work together to help our pack grow stronger, to become wiser in your ways of fighting and strategy. Drogo, you shall be my Guardian. Azul has also told me so many things of you and I feel if I do not promote you this opportunity, he shall have a very few cross words with me.” She joked as she flashed the great white wolf a smile. She could already tell that pack life was going to be easier on everyone. These wolves were responsible and trustworthy, reliable and determined. [color=violet]”Please tell me your thoughts on these ranks. If you should accept, I wish for you to stand to the side of the group for all to see and know your faces. If you decline, then you may sit back with the rest of the pack. As the wolves moved about and spoke their replies, she cleared her throat and prepared herself for the next group. ”Will Elsbeth and Crystal please step forward?” When two wolves stood in their positions, she nodded to them graciously. ”Crystal, I have heard of your work and help within the pack. Azul has spoken of your assistance with the birthing of his mates’ litter and countless others who have graced Helidos with their tiny paws. Elsbeth, though I do not know you, I want you to know that I do know what you are feeling. My daughters and my son from my first litter may possibly have been lost to a forest fire that struck our old pack lands. In the worry and scared state I was in, I could do nothing to save them. The smoke was too thick, and to this day Fenris and I know not whether they are alive or dead. It haunts my dreams and creeps into my mind when I am alone. If you ever need to speak of such things, you may come and find me. You may console with me and together we can heal. For going through something that is completely out of your paws, I cannot deny you a rank. I wish for you to be Lead Caretaker female, and watch over my young closely. Julian is the wildest one, and both you and Crystal should keep a close watch on him. Elsbeth, should you decide to accept the rank, then you may stand with the others, if not, then it will be granted to Crystal. Crystal, if she takes the rank, then please rejoin your pack circle.” Quinn had hoped this decision would not anger any wolves within the lands. She had heard Crystal was around when litters were born, but she had not seen her or heard her name spoken in a long while. ”Finally Sitka and Shadow, please step forward.”
“Sitka, must I say it is a pleasure to hear a wolf from an old neighboring pack has found solace and a home here. I do not know what happened to Cedar Grove, and I do hope the Alphas and Elder Dahlia are fine. But I am glad you have found here. I happen to know Azrael quite well, for when I was in Cedar Grove, he was the Delta male. He sure was an aggressive and strict male, but he was a good brute. Any wolf that can serve under an Alpha as tough as him, I know is well fit for any position granted to them. In this case, I would like you to be my Delta male. Normally, you would promote to Lead Hunter first, but I have a good feeling about you. Do not let me down. Shadow, you have been here before and though your story is rather long and sounds horrible, I do not feel you would make a good fit for the role of Lead Hunter female at this time. If I am correct, just recently you returned to Helidos. We need to make sure you are well cared for before we put you in charge of any other wolves for the time being. Guardian Rose will surely be able to assist you with herbs and remedies to make sure you are entirely well. If in the future another opportunity comes for promotion, then I will advise you to please come to me and request it once again. Sitka, if you accept, please stand with the others and Shadow, please rejoin your pack circle.” Quinn waited for them to decide, then she looked to the rest of her pack. She had hoped they understood her reasons for the way she chose the wolves, and that maybe more would even pronounce they wished for a rank change. She lifted her head high and stared to the crowd. ”If there are any other wolves who wish to possibly promote, please speak up now. The ranks we have left are: Delta Female, Lead Hunter male, Lead Hunter female, Lead Caretaker male, and positions for Healers. If you would like a chance at any of these, please speak up now.”Decisions were based off of BOTH IC and OOC, activity, and time on the site. If you have any questions, please message Alphess Quinn. |

Marrok had been awake very early that morning out patrolling. Time had slipped away from the aging male and soon he found himself tracking a elder stag as it had separated from its herd. Hoping to snag the beast and drag it home with the help of some other wolves he trailed the animal for two hours. Nearing the edge of the territory he finally corned the stag to duel in battle. Needless to say he returned to the pack clearing minus one deer and plus one black eye. A swift kick to his handsome noggin sent his thoughts scattering and swelling to consume most of his right eye. None the less ass he heard Quinn's call he ran as fast as he could muster and arrived well into the meeting.
Marrok crept towards the back of the gathering, wishing to seek out his Alpha's after the meeting adjourned for a proper apology. In the meantime he found refuge sitting next to the previous Alpha Azul, whom he still held in high regards. Seating himself down he dipped his maw in respect to Azul and tried to hide the growing swelling around his eye. Aside from the Alpha's anger at his lateness he feared what his beloved would say to this mess. Looks like he was in the dog house today. Coming in late he caught the new rankings and perked when Rose, Drogo and Shadow ranked up. They were well known to him and deserved the raise, as did the others whom he had yet to meet. The pack certainly was growing and he knew he needed to devote more time to training newer members and leave these hunting treks to more nimble wolves. |

| Faith carefully stepped forward as the Alphess asked her too. She lowered her head in a submissive manner, prepared to take on whatever the female leader of Helidos decided for Faith. Upon hearing the words 'Lead Warrior Female' she felt a spark inside her rise into an inferno. Her amber eyes looked up, and she nodded slightly. "Thank you Alphess Quinn. I will not let you down. I appreciate your consideration and thoughtfulness, and I hope to bring only good to the pack with my time here. If you need anything from me, I will not hesitate to do it. Again, thank you." She nodded once more for good measure and took a step back, allowing the other wolves to gain their ranks.
Upon hearing that Rose was promoted before Faith received her rank, she lit up again. She couldn't deny the happiness that this day had brought, and she tried to get Rose's attention, and if she completed the task, she would've smiled at her sister. She listened to the rest of the wolves get higher ranks, and she did as the Alphess asked. She moved to the side and allowed her face to become known. Lead Warrior Faith.
Perfect, she thought with a smile. Absolutely perfect. |

| His ivory pelt seemed to grow hot with nervousness and excitement as his name was called to approach the alphess. Walking together to the front with the others, Locke respectfully kept his head towards the ground as he intently listened to the dame speak. When others had begun to declare their interest in being promoted, one other brute had spoken his name for becoming guardian male. 'What will happen now?' Locke wondered, getting a lump in his throat. 'Will I be completely turned down if he is the better candidate?' Golden eyes blinked, dashing away the concern. No. 'I must believe in the decision of Quinn. She knows best.' Keeping thoughts from his mind now, the ivory male listened to the decisions Alphess Quinn made for the two females in front of him. Once Delta Rose was now promoted to Guardian Rose, and Faith had been bestowed the title of Lead Warrior female. Smiling for their accomplishments, Locke could feel the anxiety start to slip away slowly. Taking a deep breath, the warrior anticipated his turn soon. In the past there would have never been an opportunity for this. Change was indeed necessary in the turn of life. Soon Drogo's name was called, and Locke listened all to the words of Quinn. Time itself seemed to come to a stop when he realized the promotion she had given him. It was not the role he had asked for, but it was a rank he would be proud to have. 'Lead... Warrior?' Looking quickly up in excitement, Locke produced a big goofy grin on his lips. However, he calmed himself quickly and bowed his head respectively to the small alphess. "Thank you, Alphess Quinn. It would be my honor to serve you under the rank of Lead Warrior. I assure you that your warriors will be trained diligently under my command with both a kind and serious heart. I am excited to work with Lead Warrior Faith to produce great warriors for you." Not wanting to take up too much of her time, Locke dipped his head and made his way to the side to join his partner Faith under Quinn's command. Feeling a little shy but proud, the lead warrior allowed the rest of the pack to see his face. |

| Drogo heard his name among others to step forward. Obediently, he did just that and awaited patiently the Alphesses judgement. She first addressed the females. The Delta, Rose was the first to be given a new rank, the rank of Guardian. He himself hoped to one day fulfil such a title as he saw himself fit for the duties that came with it, more so than any other rank. Then a she wolf by the name of Faith, whom was granted Lead Warrior. He made a mental note to get to know these wolves better as he had not yet had the pleasure of making their acquaintance. Next, his own name was called. Rusted ears flickered attentively and his deep orange eyes locked onto Quinn as she spoke. Her words were kind, and far more than he had expected. Hearing that Azul had spoken highly of him was flattering, and hearing that words from his beloved Nnlya has made their way to the Alpha's ears pleased him so. But before she had granted him a rank, her words shifted to another Warrior by the name of Locke. Yet another wolf he was unfamiliar with, which bothered him. There were so many new faces, so many wolves to meet. With his litter on the way, he wasn't sure how he would make time to possibly connect with them all, but he would certainly try. The other warrior was granted the rank of Lead Warrior along side Faith, and he himself granted the rank of Guardian alongside Rose.
A sense of pride filled him as he held his head proud. His immediate reaction was a quick shift of his head back to his mate to whom he smiled. He was her equal in rank once more, and no doubt she would be proud of him. Turning his attention back to Quinn, he spoke, "Alphess Quinn, I thank you kindly for the opportunity you have given me. I most humbly accept the rank of Guardian, and will do my best to fulfil the duties that come with it. I shall protect you and your family with my life as I shall my own. I will not let you, or the pack down." his words were simple and quick, knowing that there were many after him to speak. He dipped his head in respect to both Quinn and Fenris, and then moved off to stand with those who had accepted their ranks. This was truly the start of a new era for him. A mate, a family, a new rank, and new hope for happiness to come. |

Rose was caught up in the attention of others, her head nodding to greet friends and then her attention turned towards to the young fae she called 'bear-heart'. She breathed calmly and chuckled warmly, her amber eyes dancing with joy as the fae gasped out words. "You aren't dying Aleu..." She mumbled quietly to the young fae, a small smile crossing her maw as she fully turned her attention towards the Alphess. She and a few others were called forth and slowly she stood, standing before the smaller fae with wide amber eyes. Her small frame quivered with excitement as the almighty fae spoke. Her amber eyes never left the face of her queen, searching for an answer as to what exactly was about to happen. She was spoken to first, her rank of Delta changing to be a Guardian if she so wished. She had known her sister would be great in many things and so she held her silence as her partner in crime was assigned. The mate of Nnlya, one of the Elites was chosen as Guardian male. Lead Warrior male was a charming young brute known as Locke. Her heart pounded wildly as the Alphess continued and then there was silence until broken by her sister, Faith. Her ears flickered forward and slowly she twisted to look at the young fae she considered to be her younger sister, Aleu. She twisted back and slowly dipped her head in full respect to her queen. "I am honored you have chosen me to be the rank Guardian. I will do everything within my powers to protect and serve this pack until the very day I die. I will help everyone whom I see that needs my help, I will protect you and your family with my whole heart and I will always put the pack above all others." She stopped speaking and twisted to see where her sister stood, slowly making her way over and giving a charming smile to the one she loved. As she stood beside her sister, she leaned over and whispered. "Lead Warrior fits you my dear sister." She would await to see what the others would say about their newly found ranks. She slowly listened as they were all called for, the caretakers and then a brute by the name of 'Sitka', she could not fully recall ever meeting him, but she knew the Alphess was wise for choosing him to be the Delta male. She had found it easy to be a Delta and now she knew she would have a lot more at stake with becoming a Guardian. She felt it deep within her heart that she would be able to protect the Alpha's, the pack. She scanned the whole area and spotted the younger wolves that must have been pups related to her queen. She would take note to meet them later and help her queen and king in any way that she could. |
